Applebee's

Visited this Applebee's for the first time while visiting Calgary. Food was made with super fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the chicken Wonton tacos and the maple glazed popcorn shrimp. I want 100% keen on the taste of the shrimp and without even asking they removed them from my bill. There was nothing wrong with them just wasn't my flavor of choice. Thank you to Chantel S for the excellent service and even though you were super busy you always had time to smile and check in.

Excellent place, food is pretty good, except the shrimp is way too sweet. The burgers and fries were amazing. The manager is really nice and will take steps to remedy any of their mistakes. Place is clean.

If you want a solid Family meal this is a great place to go, they have a large menu so there’s something for everyone. Restaurant was clean, well run, great service, the food had generous portions. They have a 55+ menu as well We had chicken tenders and fries with plum sauce, Fish n chips, mask potato with chicken and Shrimp (chicken was unfortunately over cooked) and chicken wings

We at Chantel as our server. She was very attentive and well at her job. Food was good. I got the cowboy burger with the French onion soup. I like the sweeter Smokey BBQ sauce. My friend got the chicken fajitas which were good as well would return

Ordered the garlic and mushroom steak tips on Feb 20. The hunk in the pictures was in the mashed potatoes. It is gritty and almost looks like drywall, gypsum board. When I called the restaurant, the manager decided not to talk to me and relayed through the girl who answered that there was no way that it was in my food and there was nothing they could do. Didn't care that it hurt my teeth, the fact they still hurt almost an hour later or that it was in my food. Completely brushed me off and implied I was lying. Beyond speechless

I ordered the Quesadilla Burger and it was really good. Rich juicy flavour. I was pleasantly surprised. We also got the waffle fry poutine which was over priced for its size but a good flavor as well. The Oreo shake was enjoyable as well a little thinner than an average milkshake but good.

Lovely staff and amazing food! I had a great time here. I just wish it wasn’t so dim inside

Update: The GM of Applebee's reached out to me and gave me full credit for my previous order. My family and I went back today and I am happy to say the service we received was exceptional. A big thank you to the GM and Rita, our wonderful waitress. 5 star review! Decent deals. Terrible service. Had to find the waitress twice to ask where my order was and for my bill. Also, the appetizers took a good 25 minutes to come. It was my first time at Applebee's and I was really looking forward. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I will be back after this first impression 😕
