Applebee's Grill + Bar

Got my food today and literally all they did was just throw it in the microwave. My blonde was dang near hard as a rock! The beef was hardly any and cheese was the giveaway that it had been microwaved. A waste of time and money. The hostess was nice but the cooks definitely didn’t care and rushed this meal.

The food was so good. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We got our food quickly. All was well, except i had to fight the flies buzzing around my table and food i could not eat comfortably or in peace. There were 2 of them. There are plenty of parking spots. $34.00 for 2 people. Server Zackery was a sweet heart. Very good server!

I ordered a tortilla soup. It was ice cold. Waitress asked if I wanted it warmed up I said no. I don't want it after all. My grilled chicken salad was cold and not appealing. My first time going to Applebee's and my last time.

I recently visited Applebee's for a casual dinner with friends, and overall, it was a pretty nice experience. The atmosphere felt welcoming and laid-back, perfect for unwinding after a long day. We started with an order of boneless wings, and they were tasty! I loved the variety of sauces available—definitely something for everyone. What stood out the most was the service. Our server, Austin, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They checked in on us just the right amount and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I'd say Applebee's is a solid choice if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with good food and friendly service. I’d definitely go back!

We stopped by on our way to Dallas and the staff was all friendly. My partner's steak was a bit tough but they immediately offered to replace it and he got the ribs and was happy with it. Overall a pretty good road experience for a rest and food! 32 bucks for two main dishes and appetizers, not bad at all.

Brittany has been my server the past few times, and has been more than attentive and caring! The food, drinks, and service have been amazing consistently. Definitely a place I can bring my friends or family and feel assured that we will be taken care of.

Adriana deserves a raise for her outstanding performance! She was the star of karaoke night, captivating everyone with her incredible voice. Her warm and infectious energy lit up the restaurant, especially when she laughed so hard she snorted, sparking laughter throughout the crowd. It was a joyful, unforgettable experience!

Had the giblets platter n was good as always. Another had the cheddar chicken sandwich and was very good. Tea is always excellent. Had Christpher meet n greet us at the door. He seated us quickly n served our teas. Gave us a few minutes n came back to take our order. Food, service n experience was very enjoyable

We ordered to go as it was late and we stayed at hotel next door. The food was hot and good as well as the service. I recommend

Server didn't take order so went to different table in hope of getting servic. 40 minutes trying to get our order taken. Finally just left. Horrible service and they did not care that we left.

Great bartender and an even better bargain on the Dollaritas ($1 Margaritas). Food is meh.

Don't order the onion rings, they are real gummy raw on the inside. Told the waiter and he said sorry about that, I'll pass it along. Not can I get you something else, just sorry! The table was really sticky too! Probably not going back there.

Food: Food chain Service: Brittany is amazing runs the bar like a champ even during a mad rush not one person was not attended to great service!! Ambiance: It's 20 years out dated like the rest but always has a crowd.

TJ the bartender makes this joint. I mean seriously it's an Applebees. He's great, food is a 6+, still a fun time

The food seems always a little bland to me. I have never come to eat here and it was busy. It sits well on the outside of town which is right off of Hwy 30. My husband ordered the Top Sirloin steak and of course was tough. Server that we had was certainly the best part of the restaurant.

Don't do it! Not a huge fan of Applebees, my expectations are very low. Probably the worst dinning experiences in my life. Food was ice cold. Service was horrible. Waiting either on my beer or my check....beer was ordered about 20 minutes ago. I get restaurants are having staffing issues, however there are around at least eight employees I can see. Had to tell as they are in random polo's. I guess they don't have uniforms? Just shut this place down. There's no coming back from this.

In this season of variable supply and demand due to covid and families traveling to see each other for Christmas, we stopped here with a family of 5 and my 10yr old daughter who wasn't feeling well and was tired from a day of traveling had her heart set on cheese pizza ‍. Although they had sold out, our waitress Summer did an excellent job connecting with her and bringing creative options such as an open face cheese quesadilla with marinara sauce...like, who ever would have thought of that??? Granted, we ended up going with cheese sticks and marinara and she was able to ring that up with what would come with the pizza as a side for 10yr old girls...strawberries and yogurt of course ... For others that helped, service was fast, food came out quickly, and was good quality. ...but if I had a business that needed customer service reps...I'd be recruiting Summer in a heartbeat.

Traveling west on I 30, stayed at the holiday inn and noticed there was an Applebee's on the adjacent parking lot. We decided to go to Applebee's for dinner until we walked in the front door and our lungs were flooded with cigarette smoke because this yahoo restaurant is not a restaurant but a smoke shop. For some reason whoever owns this or management Thinks that those people smoking in the middle of the restaurant are not affecting anybody to feet away. When approximately one and four people smoke you would think Apple bees will of made the decision to tell people to go outside. When we walked in the first door we smelled smoke but when we walked in the second within 5 feet of the front door someone let out a gasp of cigarette smoke it looked as if they were putting out small forest fire. For god sake, you're not allowed to smoke bad clothes outside of the restaurant to the front door, this person was in bed about 5-6 feet from the door when we walked into the restaurant With restaurants having difficulty today especially things like Chili's, Applebee's etc. well enough sad, unless you want to take up smoking without ever lighting up yourself don't go to this restaurant and that's a fact Jack, please, please, stop making us who don't smoke, smoke By the way, management, of this Applebee's, do not send back any stupid ass response, you made a choice to allow it to continue to be a smoking restaurant and you're crying, whining, and so apologizing attitude does not roll here I have included a picture of what I think is one of their newest appetizers, enjoy

Went there last Monday evening. The place was pretty busy. Our waiter was excellent and the food was so good! Nice relaxing meal. I will be craving the Southwest Chicken and Shrimp for awhile now. Can't wait to go back!

Right off the bat, 1 point off for REALLY sticky tables However, add a point for a very helpful server and manager who helped us adjust a dish for my 94 y/o mom. Ashton, our server, was attentive and friendly, and very accurate with our order. Great handicapped parking - very easy. Clean bathrooms. Wait time was reasonable

Yuk, food was bad, service was bad, forgot part of the meal then took 20 min to get it right. Never refilled water once, they allow smoking at the bar and whole restaurant reeked.

Amanda was a rock star talking to Us whhile a she worked her very busy section with a smile In hEr face! The food was divine ... good job y'all!!

Food was decent. I got the chicken wonton stir fry, which was nothing spectacular, but I also didn't expect to get amazing Asian from Applebee's. Prices are good. Service was friendly, but slow. The biggest complaint is that the restaurant smelled pretty bad of cigarette smoke, which was a big turnoff.

Went tonight for dinner again at this Applebee's after being here @3 weeks ago and received poor service. I thought we would give them another try but no improvement. When we entered, no one at host stand to seat us. After being seated, we never received acknowledgement and finally asked for someone to serve us after 10 minutes. Placed our order which consisted of 4 appetizers and chicken tender salad. When food came out, one of the appetizers and salad was missing. Finally got the remaining items and then no salad dressing came with salad. The manager did come over and apologized and offered a free dessert. Needless to say, I would not return to this place because of the service. Food was ok but go elsewhere if you want service in a respectable amount of time.

First and last time I'll ever go in to this Applebees! Sat at the table for 10 minutes before we got our drink order taken then another 5 minutes before we got our drinks. Then waited another 10 minutes and then decided to leave. And still charged us for the drinks. 10 waiters standing around doing nothing!

I must say it was the worst place I've been to eat at EVER. I haven't been to Applebee's since I worked there 13 years ago. And it has completely gone downhill. When my family and I got there we were the second table in the middle of the afternoon. Saw literally 1 waiter and 1 bartender. No other employees. Had to ask for straws for the drinks, had to ask for refills ( which only one of us received and all three of us were drinking the same thing), had to ask for napkins, and silverware. And when the silverware was brought with the meal (didn't get it or the napkins with the appetizers) we were apologized to by the waiter for our one and only knife and was told that it was all they had because the rest were dirty and we didn't need any more anyway. EXCUSE ME!!! I can absolutely assure you that neither I nor any of my family or friends will EVER be back there again. And I must add that these complaints were only a small tip of the giant iceberg of our bad experience.The only reason I gave it one star was because there wasn't an option for zero.

Thought I'd give Applebee's another try. Disappointed yet again Curbside service: got home order incomplete. Croutons stale on my salad. Yes yes I will check my bag the next time but the guy named the items. Looks like I won't be returning anytime soon.

The management here is nonexistent! The wait staff gets no training apparently. Lazy staff and no one seems to give a damn . The front door was filthy which should have been my first clue . Really bad service and the food was average. I won't go back .

While on the road, we stopped by for lunch. We like Applebee's for their consistent menu and quality, no surprises! This store is having trouble hiring employees but you'd never know it. The managers are doing a great job running the establishment and keeping everything spotless and top quality, even the restrooms! We have been in other Applebee's where socializing and dirty bathrooms were the norm, NOT HERE!!!! Aaron, our server, went out of his way to make our visit top-notch. You can certainly tell when employees care about the facility and guests. It's called Hospitality!!! If you're in the neighborhood, this is a great choice!!!

I have lived in Mount Pleasant for a little over a year and tonight we decided to get a to go order, I was disappointed. I spent $$$ to feed my family of 7...when I went to pick up my order, it was quickly brought to my car, however, when I went to sign the credit card receipt and did not leave a tip because I didn't feel like simply putting food in a box warranted a tip, (its not like you had to actually wait on us, because then, I would have tipped) the car side waitress Tiffany, had a sour attitude right away and threw her hands up as she walked in the door. Once we got home, the portion size for the to go orders was just sad. An $11 southwestern chicken salad the size of a side salad???? Cmon now...the breadsticks tastes rancid and old...the fries in the kidsmeal were soggy...the sad excuse for chicken tenders on the four cheese penne with the honey pepper chicken strips tasted like they were fried in rancid oil. I WILL NOT be ordering from here again.....

If your food expectations are low and you enjoy sitting in a cigarette smoke-filled room, then this Applebee's is for you. I'll give them credit for getting my take-out order correct and going above and beyond to package it well. But I could not get out of there fast enough. If there is a next time, I'll use the curbside service.

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but dining here was a complete waste of time and money. I ordered food for takeout and had to wait 2 hours for it to be ready for pickup, despite an original estimate of 25 minutes. After I arrived to pick up my order, I had to ask 3 different people for my food (which I even pointed at because it was already sitting in a bag in the back when I arrived) but it took almost 20 minutes for any of them to actually go look in the bag to confirm that it was my order and give me the food. The bartender was NOT WEARING A MASK and some other staff members had masks sagging below their noses. Totally unacceptable during a pandemic. When I got the food out to eat, everything was cold. Mind you, it's only a 1 minute walk from the restaurant to where I was staying, so the food should have been fresh. I imagine that they finished making the food much earlier (during the 2 hours I was waiting for a notification) and they just forgot to indicate that it was ready in a timely manner, so it was already cold when I arrived. Not all of the containers were microwave safe so we just had to eat it cold. The order itself was incorrect. My partner also found the sauce on his pasta to have a gross aftertaste.

Smoking allowed in this place. Smoke loomed like an old 1970s bar so I did an about face and left.

Could not believe employees sitting at bar near take out pick, up cussing so vulgar with children present. It is supposed to be a family place, but not at this location.

Smoking allowed throughout this restaurant- we should have turned around at the door. Food was average bordering on not good, service was so so Nothing can overcome the smoky environment

The food was not good and needs improvement. The chicken and shrimp on the 2 for 27. The chicken was awful it had a burnt - plastic taste. The salad was actually pretty decent. They had no shrimp sauce,but was offering a shrimp special. The server appear to be new and wasn't as efficient as they should have been. Over all I didn't believe it to be a good value for the combination of service and food quality for $50 + dollar meal.

Montana can't get an order right to save her life and the supposed manager Maria, lacks hospitality. Food was wrong twice, never corrected and after asking to be compensated, was only offered a coupon to return. Don't bother!

I wouldn't recommend going here..especially if the server is ashleigh! Old and cold food was brought to the table. She put a spoon in my drink and when confronted about it her comment was "oh you'll be fine!" Asked for a togo box for dessert she gave me a 4 ounce cup to put my brownie in. The list goes on. The manager came out and did absolutely nothing! Keep ya money and find something else!

I ordered a steak garlic potatoes & broccoli. Which was all cold, service wasn't good..

I'm not really a fan of Applebee's in general but I have been to this location a few times and the service I got was outstanding every time the first time I went in was Veterans Day 2014 after a really bad experience in chillies in Mt pleaseant the staff at chillies treated me and my wife really bad see my review on them But hands down best Applebee's I have ever been in GREAT JOB

My wife and I ordered two meals off of the 3 course meal menu. I had the Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp while my wife had the baby back ribs with garlic green beans and fries. The chicken on my meal was way over seasoned and almost inedible while my potatoes were absolutely inedible. The ribs on my wife's plate were really the only thing worth having. The service was the only thing that was decent! Not happy!!

I did not know restaurants still allowed smoking. We stopped by for lunch on the way to Hot Springs. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of smoke was all over. It reminded me off my college bar days 20 years ago. We left.

So since when do they let servers sit in the dinning area and put on a full face of makeup? This is the craziest thing I have ever seen and on top of that she was smoking while doing it in the restaurant area where she was getting ready for work. I know they allow smoking in the bar but I didn't think smoking was allowed in the restaurant. Think my husband and I will pass before we ever go back there! If the health department wants pictures I have them......shame on the management for even allowing something like that to go on in a food establishment

Current health inspector grade is an A. The last grade was an B. Only if you absolutely love Applebee's should you even consider trying this location. Staff seem to hate their jobs which most come down from management. Otherwise typical Applebee's.

We got seated pretty fast, which was nice. however, the service was horrible. our drinks were empty and we barely saw our waitress. my food was wrong, and it took forever to get it fixed due to the fact i never saw my waitress. overall, it was a horrible experience and i won't be back.

I'm usually not a big fan but this dinner was awesome. My waitress Sam was personable and knowledgable. The food was good and proud I went with her recommendations.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The last 2 times I've walked in with a baby they have refused to sit me in the non-smoking room. Since this establishment allows smoking, the only place to sit without smelling the smoke is the separate room which always seems to be closed. Also, the hostess could use some lessons on how to be friendly.

Because we were casually rooting for the Texans, my friend was talking to a friend about the game on the phone and the waitress said "can you like shutup for like one second" because we were rooting on the Texans to beat the saints. Really shows terrible respect to the customers. Doesn't matter who you are cheering for. Just shows you how this establishment is trash.

I don't often go the Applebee's but as I was driving from Dallas to Little Rock, I decided to stop for lunch. The service was great, the food okay but they really need to come into the 21st Century and not allow smoking. Whether there is a designated "smoking area" or not, the smell and second hand smoke permeates the entire restaurant and is offensive. Had I known before-hand, I would never have stopped there. As this is right off the freeway and a known, fairly reasonable chain restaurant, I certainly had no expectation of having to deal with this issue.

Walked in with maybe three other tables there. Was an odd time of day so no big deal. . Two more tables walked in behind me. I sat at the bar for almost 7 minutes before the lady behind went back to the kitchen door and hollered at the staff for service because they were not greeted either. Food was sub par, sitting at the bar with an empty glass had to ask for another beer. Bartender and customer got into it over personal matters. Felt like on Jerry Springer for a bit. Was a horrible experience. Had there been another place close would have left.

my experience was less than satisfactory i not only found a bug in my dirty lettuce, the smoothies were icee. would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Regular Applebee's with one big problem (in my opinion) it's a smoke inside bar. Other than that is a just fine place. Nice bartender.

Food was over done and underdone at the same time. House salad came out 3 min before the food pre dressed when no dressing was requested. Server was unattentive until issues were brought to his attention where so after he was Johnny on the spot!

Ordered 3 sampler/appetizer plate. Food was decent. Pot stickers ok; nachos w brisket excellent but meat sparse; pretzels over cooked but ok. Wait service by Matt- excellent; funny and super attentive! Cool dude! Hostess Moe( hope that's right) equally as fun and friendly. Offers full bar (In dry city) and smoking areas.... Thanks for hospitality!

It's hit or miss at this Applebee's. Either the staff is on point or so awful you end up walking out. Food is usually the usual Applebee's food. The staff usually ruins it for me.
