Damn. This place is awesome.
After parking to go to Foxii's restaurant right next door, we saw that this arcade was here. Didn't realize it as I hadn't been looking for one. After we ate, we went over to it and saw that you can play as long as you want, all day long, for $12. It was closer to 8pm or 9pm when we went over.
Originally, my wife wasn't going to play and was just going to watch. Unfortunately, as you don't use tokens or coins, there can't be bystanders. So we paid $24 and we both got to play.
The selection is pretty darn good. Front and center was Tron, which is one of my favorite arcade games. They had some old school cabinets, like Popeye and Road Runner (I haven't seen a Road Runner machine in 30 years). They had Moon Patrol, Dr. Mario, Galaga, Gauntlet, Simpson, TMNT, and so much more -- and that was just on the first floor.
Down a couple steps had even more games. Star Wars Trilogy, T2, other shooter type of games, as well as several stations with small TVs for old school systems, like Nintendos and Super Nintendos. My wife played Zelda 2 for a bit on one of them.
Down the ramp was even more titles. Dance Dance Revolution, several pinball machines, 4-player Pac-Man, and a bunch of larger TVs with comfy seats with Switch machines hooked up. The machines were set to play a handful of games, such as Fortnite, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Gang Beasts, and a few more. My wife played a little Super Smash and some Mario Kart on these.
My wife got a drink and I forget what it was, but it actually tasted pretty good (I don't like alcohol). They did a good job on it.
Overall, this place is fantastic. There are lots of options for games to play. Since there aren't coins or tokens, you can finally beat some of the titles you never could when you were younger, like Gauntlet or some of the rail shooters that eat up quarters. Prices are reasonable and we could have stayed for a lot longer, but after 2-1/2 hours, we had had our fill (technically, I could have kept playing, but that's because there were a lot more games to beat that I didn't even get a chance to get to). My wife, whom doesn't play many video games, had a great time beating some of the shooters and playing old school stuff.
If you are into arcades, this is a great place to go and the selection and options are hard to beat.
