Finally got to check out this spot in my matcha archives, and I definitely think it's worth a visit if you're in the DTLA area and looking for a Korean-style cafe (without having to go into Koreatown).
We were lucky that there was no line when we came, but the line consistently became long after. We ordered their tiramisu cream top (sans the banana cream), matcha banana cream top, creamy carbonara udon, and wagyu beef sliders. Overall, we thought the cream tops were made well, being elegantly and subtly flavorful but not too sweet, but the matcha and coffee components of our drinks weren't the best quality imo. The food was made very well, and I LOVED the carbonara udon, which was so creamy but had a surprising kick of spice and lots of bacon. The Wagyu sliders reminded me of an elevated version of the McDonald's Sausage Egg McMuffin, but I would probably skip this next time since I couldn't taste the Wagyu.
It wasn't too hard snagging a table, and I saw a lot of people there who were working on their computers, so this cafe would probably be a good spot to study/work, as long as you don't mind listening to music. There's also an outdoor seating area, which has a decent view of the surrounding area from the second floor of the building, and has shade to protect from the hot summer sun.
