Drinking Your Way Through Portland’s Newest Wine Bars | Eater Portland

"Heading into the Pearl, Arden feels the most elegant, with natural tones and refined decor; Chef Sara Hauman’s menu is intricate, offering a tasting menu and composed dishes with captivating touches of smoke — we had a lovely fennel salad with mimolette, and the pairing of Auxerrois Blanc tasted unmistakably of green apples — though the wine list itself wasn't especially eye-catching and the bottles felt almost too obvious." - Andy White

Great addition to Central Florida. Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Good tunes and a nice vibe. Thomas was a very personable server. We tried the biodynamic Cab which satisfied the palate. Looking forward to dropping in again to dine.

Arden has an incredible atmosphere! The vibes were immaculate—relaxed and warm, perfect for a laid-back evening or a casual night out. The drinks were excellent, crafted with care and super refreshing. Our server was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better. It's a place where you can truly enjoy yourself and feel at ease. Definitely coming back!

The drinks were good. The service was really good (there weren’t a lot of people there yet at 6pm on a Saturday). I hope they expand their food menu a bit but the krab dip was very good. I would recommend but nice if they give more carrots or crackers. The bartender made a mystery drink and it was yum! The all wine is fruit wine is super sweet if you are into that.

Yelp
Came to Arden for the ASIN chef's tasting and loved the Vietnamese Martini and Port in the Storm cocktails we got. The space is super cute and intimate -- perfect for evening drinks or hangouts. The food here is amazingggg. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
It's a beautiful venue and the staff is phenomenal. Circled the block a few times and you'll find parking. This is a great place for a low-key get together with friends or a date night.

Yelp
Arden is a cute wine bar tucked away near The Yard. We checked it out for my sister's birthday with 9 people and they have a large sofa area in the back that fit us all and we even had room for more! This would be a perfect place for a bachelorette party or birthday party. They have seasonal Jell-O shots for $4, a menu full of wines, beers and cocktails made with liqueurs with a lower ABV. Our server, Jared, was fantastic and made our experience so fun! This place definitely deserves some more attention, highly recommend checking out Arden for some beverages. I wanna come back and check out their happy hour from 5-7, which includes some food options as well!

Yelp
New Wine Bar Alert!! For those that know me, KNOW that wine is my ultimate go-to alcoholic beverage of choice. I drink wine over any other alcoholic beverage in most places and on most occasions if it is offered on the menu. So, naturally, I enjoy visiting good wine bars. I was elated to learn about The Arden joining The Yard in Ivanhoe Village. Missing the former food hall (The Hall on the Yard) but looking forward to the new reimagined food hall (City Food Hall), it's been so refreshing seeing NEW local restaurants/bars and businesses spring back up in The Yard plaza. And naturally, when I learned The Arden would be a wine bar that focuses solely on wine and wine based drinks, I just knew I had to run (not walk) to pay them a visit! My oh my, they did not disappoint! Andy was my server and she was awesome! Also, she was a former colleague with a good friend of mine (small world) that used to work at Sixty Vines on Sandlake, so we got to chatting!! She is just the sweetest and I hope to see her again the next time I pay The Arden a visit. All in all, my time at Arden was truly made special by how awesome Andy and the rest of the staff were. I didn't get to try their speciality wine based drinks but I did have a LOVELY glass of Pinot Noir and sampled a couple of other wines. I was also recommended a good natural wine (a Malbec wine by the name of Santa Julia) to try the next time I visit - which I will when I return because I will be returning. Overall, this place is very nice. It is modern with a lot of trendy elements like the industrial glass garage door that opens up to The Yard, sleek furniture and a very "set-the-mood" lighting ambience. It was not too packed when I visited - especially for a Friday evening and the vibe was super chill. I can't wait to see how this wine bar grows with the Ivanhoe Village community. It's such a great pairing with the handful of other wine spots along Virginia Ave and within the Ivanhoe community. Definitely pay them a visit if you haven't done so already.

Yelp
We got the cheese plate which came with a delicious cherry spread and whipped butter. They brought out pickled veggies to go with it when asked. It's got a nice vibe and open seating.

Yelp
Lovely space with reasonable drink prices. Also great bar food, loved the skewers and flatbread. Location is great, next to City Food Hall. Great outdoor space as well
