"Chefs Ryan Lory and Adam Bordonaro have joined forces to launch their first restaurant, Ardyn, in New York City's Greenwich Village neighborhood. It debuted March 8 and offers three different experiences: a lounge with cocktails and snacks, a dining room with à la carte menu options and a yet-to-open chef's counter for a six-course tasting menu plus amuse bouche. Many of the duo's ingredients are sourced from farmers' markets and nearby artisanal producers. That translates into an à la carte menu divided into sections for cold, hot, for the table, and side dishes." - Aaron Hutcherson

excellent attentive friendly table service on V day. nice food presentation. quality dishes with nice sauces. could have been 5 star but was soured by front of house who gave a hard time to give us a different 2 person table though we had reservations like most others. eventually she relented after discussing with host, sincerely apologized and gave us the seating but there was no good reason for it to begin with. will still come again though on a regular day!

Food was amazing.. the 50/50 (bacon & ground beef) burger was AMAZING!!! definitely coming back with the group. Place was clean, bartender/ waitress was very nice and amazing.. they definitely go above and beyond. They even helped to put on a sticker tattoo. Overall pleasant place to be and the decor is very nice.. The music was definitely in the Zone. Loved every moment i was inside eating and hanging out. Im definitely spreading the word.

Ardyn is a well designed and stylish establishment with delicious and creative food. Sitting at the back counter by the kitchen is a great option. You can feel the heat of the kitchen while you watch them assemble the food. Their meats are often aged, brined, or marinated and then cooked for long periods of time. Among a wide selection of great dishes like the duck (which is dry aged), the homemade ricotta with the pea shoots, the porcelet really stands out. It is crispy on the outside and so tender and flavorful on the inside. The drinks are great as well. The barrel and blossom is really pleasant. To top it all off, in between busy periods the chefs would talk to us about the dishes and the work and thought that went into them. Really incredible.

Small plates that don’t come cheap but really great quality and tasty with lots of variety. I liked the sea bass, pork belly, duck and short rib.

Excellent cocktails and bar area. Dining room is separate, intimate, and the food is amazing. Try the pork belly and the octopus.

While not Michelin-ready in my humble opinion, the flavors and service were both exceptional. The panna cotta dessert, the wagyu and the tuna tartare were my favorite dishes.

Great new restaurant in the west village! Delightful ambiance! The spacious bar at the front has interesting and delicious cocktails, several seating areas, with yummy bar snacks. Going through the curtain to the main dining room brings a total transformation! That atmosphere is intimate, cozy, and chic. The food is absolutely beautiful in its presentation, never mind wildly delicious. There are so many choices - it's a small plates concept for the most part. The plates are actually quite a good size though- shareable by at least three people. The service is friendly and attentive, and the timing of the plates coming to the table is good. There is a good wine list, and next time we will have to save some room for dessert - that menu looked amazing also! In particular the pork belly, octopus, and burrata were my favorites; my vegetarian friend found a number of good options also, but especially loved the fresh spring salad. Can't recommend highly enough. Will be back again very soon!
