This was a solid fast-cas spot! The meat fillings were hot and very tender. Prices were decent fir DC too. Our order took longer than expected despite there not being any line, but we didn't mind because Western Market is great to walk around and people watch. Very fun little lunchtime venture.

Good vegetarian or vegan options, it's inside a foodhall that's convenient to get to from the Metro. The food was pretty good, especially if you're looking for arepas. However, if you're looking for vegetarian/vegan options in the food hall, the falafel place next door is cheaper and also good. We ended up getting arepas here and za'tar fries from next door for the best of both worlds.

I am allergic to tomatoes and I explain this to the dude in the back of the picture. He literally told me it did not have any tomatoes. My friend and the picture confirmed it has tomatoes. I came here because this place have good reviews but this people care more about a couple of dollars than causing an allergic reaction to a customer. They were rude and untruthful when I asked and that is just very bad in general. I am happy that i didn't bite into the cachapa because I could have had a horrible reaction. Nothing justifies someone lying about the ingredients for the benefit of a business. I don't recommend this place and it makes me sick that they prefer to make someone sick than to correct their mistake.

The food the service and the atmosphere of this location of Arepa Zone was fantastic. The options are endless and vegan Arepa options? Sign me up. The biggest bummer here was the prices. Compared to Falafel Inc, Arepa Zone is much more expensive and the quality isn't that far off. Either way, definitely check it out. Came here to try the primera dama cachapa and I loved it, they are preparing it smaller every time that I visit this place but it’s delicious. Overpriced items, fast service and employees give their best for a great customer service. Again, expensive but delicious. Be ready to spend $30-$40 just for 1 person.
