Arepas Burger

I have eaten at several Venezuelan restaurants in NY but this is definitely the best by far! I can't explain how perfectly made the Cachapa with fried pork is, delicious drinks and the Tequeños of cheese with Nutella topping are crazy delicious.

Authentic cachapas! Finally a restaurant that I can say this. THIS IS MY VENEZUELAN CULTURE. I love coming here and ordering here. My comfort food. The food is so delicious. Nothing like anything else.

The food was amazing! We had the Tropical Burger with the Passion Fruit juice and brown sugar lemonade. Our waitress Juliana was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and very attentive! I recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and a good vibe!

The food is great. Its honestly some of the best burgers in the local area. Unfortunately the service isn’t great. Went on into the store and place a order at 8:30. Told me to come in 20-25 minutes and it should be set. I came back at 9:15 and handed my receipt to be told to wait another 15 minutes. Waited until 9:35 to get my food. And the cherry on top, they forgot the pork chop on the especial burger I ordered. 1 hour wait time for 2 burgers. If your gonna make someone wait. You gotta try to make it up to your customer. The customer service could be alot better. Pretty sure my ticket wasn’t submitted until I came back. TLDR: Great food, not great service.

And there we where my wife and I walking by Northern Blvd, with no idea of what to eat. We passed by a different places took some of them menus (one of the attendants at a particularly place had a not very friendly face 😒). Then we craved on burgers, in fact there were some options, but a really friendly smile definitely makes a difference. We decided to give it a try at Arepas Burger and we did not mistake. The it was my burger a huge combination of Pork chop and met bacon and egg (oh my diet😑). Definitely we enjoy it the flavor the texture and the friendly smile. Congrats to the cooks and the Beautiful lady at the register in that night.. We will come back to enjoy the other dishes served there. Att: Lucho G

We were watching random videos on YouTube. A gordan ramsey youtube video caused such a burger craving that we had to have buger today! A quick search showed this little gem around the corner. We got to this place with little expectation. First thing we noticed that , this place is south american eatery place. The waitress welcomed us in spanish. The place is really cozy one. We ordered one monster burger and one beef burger with fries. Our orders did take time to arrive. But it was worth waiting for. The bugers were just amazing. First bite could tell us that this is far better than any fast food chain burgers. This is authentic. The food is just yum. I loved it. The place is clean and nice. There isn't lots of seating but its enough for your guilt pleasure. Price is above average but thats ok for the food we get. We will be back again.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO EAT AT Arepas Burger!!!! They serve one of the best burgers in this area! Not only are the burgers are big but it is delicious. You will definitely get filled up right away. This place also serve fries with salchicha and some sort of cheese stick which I highly recommend too. You have the option to eat inside or take food to go. Most of the time this place is full but there are time where you can sit down and enjoy the food. 10/10 with my food experience here!

Stopped in for lunch after an early morning flight. Fun atmosphere, excellent food, service (Chris) was also great. My whole family loved it, and pretty close to LaGuardia.

One of my favorites arepas is the Gouda and chicken with avocado--topped with green sauce. The tequeños are also a must-try, with their crispy cheese-filled goodness. And I can't forget the empanadas; they're perfectly crispy and packed with delicious fillings! Whether you're craving something hearty or a quick snack, Arepa Burger hits the spot.

Arepas Burger did not diappoint. I waited a long time to finally try them. I was thinking there would be an actual Arepa Burger, like those burgers they make out of the Krispy Kreme donuts and I almost took a star off when they didn't have that but remembered these are the things that make people hate yelpers. I got my food very quickly and since I walked outside after placing my order, the staff came out and gave me my bag rather than making me go inside to get it. They were attentive and answered my questions and my food was really good. So remember, Arepas Burger is Arepas and Burgers, not like some crazy Super Arepa Burger...

I live in another state, and every time I come visit NYC, I always come to this place. The food is AMAZING same as the service, the server had a great vibe and very nice. If you're looking to experience some Venezuelan flavors, this is definitely the place to be. 100% recommended!

What a happy little find. I have not tried their arepas yet. Although, I have tried their burgers and they are pretty great. What initially sold us on this place when walking around in the cold for outdoor dining was the heated huts in front. They really went the distance to make sure there was a nicely heated and well ventilated space for people to dine in out front. No one was inside and it was like striking the gold mine. I went with a hawaiian burger. Guilty as charged. I like everything slathered in pineapple and cheese. What's unique about these burgers - they pile on things like thinly sliced and crushed potato chip crisps. It reminds me of a brazilian type of burger or sandwich. The only thing I would change is that they use a pineapple compote instead of actual chunks of fruit and I think I'd prefer the latter. But that's just my personal preference. The sauce here is where they shine. Green garlic sauce - amazing. Pink sauce - amazing. I used to joke about how these sauces impregnate me. They still do the trick. Definitely also try their cheese tequenitos sticks. Those are so warm and gooey and amazing. I have to come back for their arepas but the burgers were well seasoned and so good.

Someone introduced me to this place. They ordered me a tripleta burger. Oh I thought I was gonna be a simple burger. Boy was I wrong. This burger was made fresh. It consisted of ham, smoked pork chop,bacon, chicken cutlet, fried egg, avocado, lettuce tomatoes, ketchup, Mayo, mustard and pink sauce. Oh. I forgot these cheese. This burger was massive in size. I should have been charged with attempted murder the way I handled this burger. Again it was fresh and not heavy on they body. It didn't leave me feeling sick. It was well seasoned and tasty. It was so good, that I immediately went back and got another one. This place have a customer for life!!!

I Like this place... I love how they make arepa reina pepiada and chicha. I want to go back and try some empanadas. Place is small but clean and nice.

The food is good, but if you are going to the restaurant because the delivery never arrives and you call to ask and they deceive you by saying that it has already left and the delivery never arrives. Respect your customers please

I ordered arepas, fries, and a chocolate milkshake - 5/5 for each item. The arepas were so tasty and cooked very well. The milkshake and fries weren't just average - they tasted better than most fries at American restaurants. Definitely stop by and experience Arepas Burger

Pésima atención, pedí una arepa y una empanada y me dieron solo la arepa después que me la termine pregunté por mi empanada y Nisiquiera la habían empezado a hacer, después de 10 minutos salió el que me estaba atendiendo a pedirme 2 minutos más y le pedí que por favor me devolviera el dinero por que no podía seguir esperando y no le importo y se fue. Ate here today by myself for lunch during my day off from work. I'd ordered and brought the arepa chicharron and it was really good, super delicious, juicy and a bit expensive to eat it. The service there was also really good and amazing!I didn't wait too long to get my order and be served! Finally, I definitely will eat here again next time! :)

This used to be my go to spot for 2 years but they've fallen off soo dramatically in their quality. They have been constantly changing the prices of their food and every time I come back it's a different price. This was $17, sad.

My daughter and I wandered into this restaurant looking for a nice bite to eat. The server was very nice and attentive, he also made recommendations and was very helpful. We started off with empanadas and they were huge! We were not expecting them to be so big, we were so hungry we forgot to take a picture. The outside of the empanadas were made from arepas so think about how amazing it was. I had a guacamole burger and my daughter got a chicken rice bowl, both were such big portions and absolutely delicious! Hats off to this small charming place! I recommend this place whole heartedly, 10/10!!! Do not hesitate to come here!! Food is high quality and fantastic!

Amazing food, the taste is very authentic. Service is respectful and well paced. The environment isn't too bad, could get a bit noisy at times. However with food this good, I would highly recommend to try it out.

If you're looking for a place where you can wait for over an hour to get an Arepa without any acknowledgment and without any apology, then this is the place for you. Furthermore, when I finally got home with my order which I had to take to go due to the long wait, I realized that the order was incorrect.!

I was in the mood for a burger today so I decided to take the trip to Arepas Burger. It is one of my go to burger spots and all I can say is that they never disappoint! Food is always flavorful and doesn't leave me feeling sluggish. Definitely worth the commute.

Oh my - so these arepas and burgers are legit. They are huge and flavorful. Love when you song even have to ask for extra pink sauce. Due to covid I got it for take out but was impressed how everything was neatly packed even to go. The tropical burger was huge already so I'm shocked they have doubles and stuff. It comes with all the fatty goodness of ham back and of course the meat. The Cachapa Pabellon (yellow corn sweet) was also huge. Glad they don't put calorie counts on these menus.... I'll update when I finally try the tostones!

A different twist to a burger with ham, sausage and a fried egg. It was also very filling, the fries were lackluster but the passion fruit drink made up for it. Good outside dinning place overall.

Best Venezuelan Food in NY!! The empanadas and Burgers are the best!! I do recommend 100% this place

Alike to other Yelpers, the food was just OK and overpriced. We ordered the Arepa burger, tequenitos, cachapa mixta, arepa mixta and churros with nutella. The food items with beef tasted like it needed something extra in order to moisten the meat and that was after I placed all the extra sauce on the food. Additionally, the churros tasted like it was made in old cooking oil. Nothing was really memorable but everything was edible.

Actually, I love this place. The food is delicious, and the service is good. The food is freshly made, and they have a great variety of sauces. The only downside, which is really important to me, is that there's no restroom. So, if you're someone who needs a restroom to wash your hands before eating, use the restroom during your meal, and wash your hands again after eating, I don't recommend eating at this place. Take your food home!!!

First time trying the Arepa Burger very delicious. Definitely recommend coming here. It's a hidden gem in Jackson Heights.

I was really excited to try this place out, but the arepa burger was just ok. It was really dry and the meat was very chewy. I did omit the cheese, but I didn't expect it to be so dry and tasteless. The passion fruit drink, however, was really good and perfectly sour. Maybe I ordered it on the wrong day, but this time it wasn't great.

The food was cold. This is the second time I ordered and it came out bad. I have it the second time because these burgers were good but tonight. It was a really bad experience. Overall maybe give it a shot.

We drove by as we were craving some arepas and had the two pork arepas. They were extremely fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the one with pulled pork and sweet plantains. Their arepas in itself were freshly made and flavorful. The staff was also pleasant and helped with our order. Solid arepa spot and will visit again.

Street food in a sit down small restaurant located in Jackson Heights. It's true you can find plenty of these around but this spot is very generous with their fillings. You can see the kitchen and the chef at work so you don't have to doubt the cleanliness of your food. We opted for the arepas burger which was filled with chicken, beef, black beans, plantains, cheese and avocado. The chicken had a saison flavoring on it and the meat had some kind of tomato sauce. The sweetness of the plantains along with the buttery taste of the avocado give you a fiesta in your mouth. It is heavy but all the flavors work well together. It's very filling and when you finish there are no regrets. 2 types of sauces are provided if you want to add more flavor: a mix of Mayo and ketchup and a mild cilantro sauce. You won't need those for this burger. Then you have the churros. It is so hard to find good churros nowadays They do not make them like they used to make them fresh under the Subway. Churros from here come accompanied with nutella and are fried fresh not prefried and left under a heating light. The churros are crunchy on the outside but you still get the softness of the dough from the inside. Of course the nutella makes them even better but on their own the batter has a slight sweetness too. Very tasty whether you go with them plain or drenched. Mera's Tip: Eat this for lunch and take a walk.

The food is good BUT it's poisonous. Be aware when you eat here no matter how good it taste it's dirty food. Every time i eat here (3 times this year) i get a really bad stomachache and i have puked twice. My family and friends came here as well and got food poison as well. I really dont recommend this place if your stomach is "weak" although i dont think that's an excuse for dirty food to be consumed. Customer service is the worst, the ladies here think they are "all that" and don't even get a hello back. Their attitude needs to be changed. Also i wait more than 25 minutes for my food to come... Horrible place..

1. Arepa: it was good ordered but I mentioned no avacado & plantains inside. And I found it was inside the bread. 2. Mango juice: that wasn't mango juice but I would say crusher. 3. Churros Nutella: it's was ok and yummy no doubt. 4: delivery: it changes n I had to wait and hour. I hope it can be Faster.

This place is delicious. Down side is tiny and does not have a bathroom. Great prices for NY. Tequeños are amazing, because the cheesy is salty as it supposed to be. My husband (non Venezuelan) love the pelua arepa, has cheese and beef. I looove the cachapa and the patacon. Their garlic salsa is also worth trying. We usually do pick up because it can get crowded. Staff is very friendly I have tried 3 different state Venezuelan food and I'm sure to say this is one of my favorites. Worth it to give it a try!!!

The food here is good but unfortunately, it sent me straight to the ER with a bad case of food poisoning. I know that it was this place because I hadn't eaten anything else that day. I had a pabellon bowl and the avocado that came with it had big black spots. I had the good sense to throw the avocado out but ended up eating the rest of the bowl. I had ordered two more items to save for later but had to throw them out just to be safe. Advice to restaurant: Please be more careful with food preparation.

Really fresh and superb food! I ordered a take out order and was very pleased with the transaction. All the food ordered had very fresh ingredients and it's very good for the value. Churros con Nutella are a must.

Amazing! My new spot for venezuelan food. Everything on the menu looks so good!!! Try the ( Cachapa pabellón ) and you will experience the flavor of both of our typical dishes! Cachapa- pabellón!!!! So good omg i cant wait to go back! My friends had arepas tequeños and churros everything was soo delicious. This is AUTHENTIC VENEZUELAN FOOD ! Plus their Parchita juice is natural! #winning!! -there's no restroom -no AC Still coming back tho, food is delicious. Oh and they were playing rawayana, caramelos de cianuro etc the whole time!!

This place is AWFUL!!! I waited over an hour for a tasteless and disgusting Arepa Pabellón with added chicharrón! Todo supo a mierda! To have waited over an hour and for its price, I expected a fresh, tasty, and well done Arepa!!! Even my aunts and my mom make way better arepas than this tiny place. Never again! They lost me as a customer! Dueces!!!

Been here more times that I can count and is always great! Great service and great food. Helpful and friendly staff My all time favorites are tequenos, chicken tostones and the absolutely delicious nutella churros

The food here is delicious! No complain about that. But they definitely need better staff. I ordered an arepa and a drink and an hour and 20mins passed by. I called to ask about my order. The lady on the phone sounded surprised and said she was going to call the guy to ask what happened. 10mins later I called again to ask and didn't answer. Finally he arrived. He literally stood infront of my apartment for a good min on his phone. I don't know if the lady forgot my order because she tried acting surprised when I called or the guy just hates his job that much to stand infront of me with his phone. Overall the food here is very delicious. Definitely worth going in person instead.

I got the arepa burger from here 2-3 times to go and it's hit the spot every single time! I can't say how customer service or delivery is since i pick up the order but so far I've had good experiences!

Cute spot. Food is good. Very slow service though. We spent more than 20 min waiting for Salchi Papas and then another 30 min waiting for an arepa and a toston. Ps. They need to add some hot sauce options.

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this really seemed disrespectful to me in terms of service, the boy, his name is Oswaldo, when he took my account without printing the invoice, he gave me the total amount of the account without telling me that he had the tip included, I leave him 20% of my part when I swipe the card on the device and he doesn't print the invoice either, I ask him to send it to me by message or phone and he did as if he had done it, but he didn't, so I insist that the bill had not yet arrived and so I give him my phone number again, after this I noticed him nervous and when I see the bill, he had already charged me a 15% tip without notifying me (this is not legal) I understand that there are people who do not leave a good tip and that is part of their salary, but I am obligatorily leaving a 35% tip to a person because I was already giving them 20%, they should have at least notified me beforehand and print the receipt what he was doing because it's not legal. To top it off, he was rude when I asked him if he had already charged me the tip before paying because he didn't notify me, and his answer was that if he wanted me to refund the money, I said no because I didn't want to be as rude as him and Obviously he needs it more than me. What a lousy service, I'm sorry. I feel sorry for Yubel and his wife because the food is excellent, but unfortunately sometimes we make the mistake of hiring people because they do poor service. Look for parking for almost half an hour to eat there with great desire, too bad that I felt so badly treated when I went with my family. I'll not come back

Never disappoints! Best burgers in the area. The staff is nice a friendly. Food is fresh. We got a burger, salchipapa, passionfruit juice (the best) everything was made with in 15 mins of ordering. We drive 30mims to This spot just because of the burgers. It's about $13 per burger with no fries but worth the $$

Really delicious burgers. They are different from your usual beef burger on a bun with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. Their options are way more thought out such as eggs, ham or pineapple sauce on your burger. I tried the burger with pineapple sauce (Hawaiian burger) and was done with it so quick. It was a pickup from an online order and it was easy to pick up.

This small joint is turning out big flavors in their Burgers and Arepas in Jackson Heights. While there's plenty of places go to for a burger in Queens, this place definitely lands on my top 5 favorite burger places. They have an ABC menu: Arepas, Burgers, and Cachapa. I personally like their Hawaiian Burger and Perico Pepiada, but don't take my word for it. Their Hawaiian Burger is down-right amazing. You know how some places serves you a patty and you know its frozen and flavorless and regardless of all the condiments you add to the darn thing, it just doesn't taste right. This place packs their burger with so much darn flavors, your tastebuds won't know what to do. Their burger meat is seasoned to perfection and when they add on the pineapple and crush potato chips it adds for a harmonious burger delight. Your arteries will ask you, why are you doing this to me?! You'll say for the love of the burger. The Perico Pepiada, is self-explanatory but so darn delicious. You have your scramble eggs, cheese, sweet plantain, and avocado. Grab yourself an orange juice and call it a breakfast. I would recommend adding on the cilantro green mayo. I had some hit and miss with the corn cake for this item (sometimes it comes super hard or it's too soft) but dude, either way, it's still good. You just gotta chew a little more than usual, so hopefully they can perfect the right amount of time to place this on the griddle. Summary: Bring cash, sit down to eat, and add that green mayo to everythaaang.

The food is absolutely delicious and amazing! We come at least once a month and the food is incredible. The service is fantastic wish it had more seating but oh well..... now the have the empanada place next door ......which is also incredible. Love the arepas they arepas burger is awesome and the chicken salad one WOW, the carchapas the fresh juices (especially the pabellon and the mora)

Amazing! They have one of the best Cachapas I've ever tasted. I highly recommend to get the churros with Nutella.

They have a couple of seats open indoors as well as tables out door, quality of food has remained top notch!

I have to admit, Arepas Burger was simply amazing. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here. These guys certainly have a wonderful menu too. The staff was very pleasant and service is exceptional. It truly was a terrific experience.

This was a great place to have breakfast! The restaurant was really clean and they had all the Venezuelan beverage you can imagine: colita, mora, chica, malta etc. They also have salsa de maíz (which is really hard to come across in the USA) the place offered great customer service and great food as well. The food is generous. I got the pabellon bowl and it was superb. My friend got the cachapas and it was a handful, very satisfied.

I have always been a client of this place, despite the bad treatment given by the people who work there, it is the third time that I ask for an order with spicy and they always send me incomplete even though I call twice to tell the girl that no forget to send spicy. when Icalled again the girl was despotic and rude. I never go back to this place.
