Food was really good very fulfilling it's a lot of food we still had about half of each plate left over. The place was clean and tidy, it's spacious and doesn't feel suffocating ( like other places you feel your breathing on other people's back). As a latina I am very picky with my food but this place hit the spot definetly recommend. Pricing was decent , the drinks were a bit overpriced but were tasty. Staff was really friendly and attentive , vibe in the place was nice as well.

Google
We had such great experience at the Arepitas restaurant: we ordered burger for my daughter, llanera and carebana sandwich and partilita bowl of chicken and beef. The food was so tasty and fresh. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. They took the time to explain the menu and even offered recommendations based on what we were in the mood for.

Google
i was greeted by multiple people as i walked in. first time having Venezuelan food! it was delicious. i had the Blonde. the grilled chicken was so savory. it was so big i had to split into three meals. the restaurant was very nice and clean. and the service was great

Google
We ordered the Vegetarian Bowl, the Llanera Arepa, and the Parrillita Bowl, I highly recommend all three. The food at Arepitas is consistently excellent. I LOVE the garlic sauce and always ask for extra on the side. Portion sizes are generous, we all ended up taking food home. Service could’ve been better. Our server wasn’t rude, but seemed inexperienced or possibly new. Highly recommend visiting Arepitas if you’re in the Round Rock area, it’s definitely worth a stop!

Google
Really cute place, loved the inside and enjoyed the atmoshpere. The service was on point, we had a new waitress that lit up the room. Food was good, but expected a little more flavor. Beef Empanadas were seasoned perfectly. Chicken had a lot of flavor but the steak was a bit of a dissapointment kind of flavorless (needs marinade). We spent about 25.00 per person with drink and tip and would absolutley go back.

Google
The food was amazing! We are visiting in town and decided to try this place out and could not have been more satisfied! Had a party of 6 any everyone loved what they got. Whenever I come back, will definitely be stopping by again.

Google
It's a lively place for dinner, even on weekdays. Tried chicken tostones (mini tacos on plantain chip) and vegetarian arepa with black beans. Food tastes fresh with shredded cabbage & cilantro topping. Hint - ask them to skip mayo based house sauce. Cocktails were on point - Venezuela Libre and Rum Pape'

Went there for my birthday dinner with 15 people. They accommodate us as a large party with ease. The food was delicious, the sugar cane with lime juice is top notch. Free dessert for my birthday was a crowd favorite and I couldn't have asked for a better place to get together with friends and family. Thank you so much for making it special.

Yelp
Love the food, the atmosphere and literally have no complaints. Upon a recent visit, I had a mojito drink that was chok full of cilantro...a bit too much but I ordered another drink and when they delivered the bill they had taken the Mojito off of the bill and I wasn't expecting that. Thank you! Love your restaurant!

Yelp
Food is straight up bussin!! Shrimp is so good! Everything was lovely! Would come back again and again!! Drinks have a kick and are so delicious! Best cocktails around they don't have an over powering taste of alcohol but are just perfect!! Everyone is super attentive and are very sweet and helpful! The ambiance is elegant and very cultural!

Yelp
Needed a last minute lunch stop and Arepitas fit the bill! We stopped at an in between time (2 PM) which can be risky sometimes. This delicious Venezuelan food, was fun, fresh, and fantastic start to finish. Love the visual menus, I'm a visual learner and educator by trade so I love the ability to see what everything looks like before I order! We had a Bowl and an Arepita, both were ridiculously good. Layers of colors, flavors, and textures the combinations were perfection! My son ordered some fries which were hot and extra crispy. I'd recommend ordering a variety of the sauces. We loved the garlic and house special sauce the most! It's great drizzled or for dipping. Service with a smile and a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Chelsea L.

Yelp
Got the Crazy Fries again!! So delicious. This time I got the meat combo. It's a really big portion but perfect if you are sharing. Chicken empanada is also good! The Guava Pie! Ice cream and guava syrup on top of a pie crust is perfection! The ice cream does overflow and melt so you gotta finish eating it quickly. It takes a really long time for the food to come out-about 20 min-but the food is so good that the wait time is negligible.

Yelp
I recently picked up food from Arepitas and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the Empanadas with chicken and spicy homemade sauce, along with the chicken Pepito Sandwich. The empanadas were deliciously crispy on the outside and filled with perfectly seasoned chicken. The spicy homemade sauce was a great addition, adding just the right amount of heat. The chicken Pepito Sandwich was an absolute treat. It came with grilled onions, cabbage salad, potato sticks, ketchup, mayoketchup, homemade honey mustard, garlic homemade sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a side of crispy French fries. The combination of flavors in the sandwich was amazing, and the fries were cooked to perfection. Even though this was a pick-up order, I noticed the dining area was cozy and clean, and the staff were very welcoming. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous. I am definitely planning to return and dine in next time. Highly recommend checking out Arepitas!

Yelp
Arepitas exceeded my expectations! I had read so many great reviews but was still blown away by the incredible service, DELICIOUS food, and huge portion sizes! My husband and I visited around 4:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. FAST FACTS: * Reservations: no * Parking: located in a strip center with a parking lot around the building * Online ordering: available through Toast Tab * Happy hour drink specials * Pictures of most items available on the online ordering system SERVICE: Nothing but great things to say! We were greeted by the staff when we entered the restaurant and were seated right away. Our server, Michel, visited our table and took our order quickly. The other staff who helped run food, fill drinks, and clear plates were all pleasant as well. We were very taken care of! PRICING: The total was $56.39 after tax and before tip for a pabellon empanada ($7.35), side of black beans ($2.50), Caribeña arepa ($17.49), party animal arepa ($16.00), side of fries yuca ($7.99), and a side of guasacaca sauce ($0.75). At first glance, the prices may look steep for some items but the portions are HUGE and the ingredients are fresh so I think it's very fair! PABELLON EMPANADA (10/10): I was so sad when I took the last bite because this empanada was PHENOMENAL! The corn dough had such an amazing texture and wasn't greasy at all. The pork inside was so tender and flavorful and the cheese was delicious! We got it with a garlic sauce on the side and it paired perfectly! I'd get this again! CARIBEÑA AREPA (10/10): This was my first arepa experience but definitely won't be my last! First, it was MASSIVE! The server recommended eating it with a fork first and then switching to your hands once you could get a hold of it... it's that big. The actual arepa was SO good... the texture reminded me of a cross between a biscuit and English muffin in terms of fluffiness with some slight crisp (but obviously corn based). There were tons of shrimp and they were cooked perfectly. The slaw and spicy sauce added so much flavor but also kept it light and fresh. I'd get this again! PARTY ANIMAL AREPA (9/10): Also delicious! The shredded beef had such a unique flavor... slightly sweet but so juicy and tender. There was a little too much cheese... some more tomato (or the jalapeños we added) would have made a better balance but it's hard to complain when something is so good! I'd get this again! FRIED YUCA (10/10): I LOVE yuca and this was a big side portion! Every piece was fried perfectly and you get plenty of the garlic sauce to dip it in. We took a lot home and it still tasted amazing the next day! I'd get this again... it would make a great appetizer to split! BLACK BEANS (9/10): These were a random throw in but so tasty! For plain black beans, they had a fantastic flavor! We will absolutely be back to enjoy Arepitas again and will recommend it to others! This was some of the best Venezuelan food I've had and the great service and large portion sizes made it that much more enjoyable! Such a hidden gym in the Round Rock area!

Yelp
Came here for an early lunch on a Friday, had no wait time and they had plenty of open tables for the duration of our visit. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. I am staunchly team cachapa over arepa, so I went for an arepa pabellon. My partner went for the veggie arepa, we both really enjoyed our dishes! For the portion size you get the prices feel pretty reasonable, and compared to other Venezuelan restaraunts they have a super wide array of options, if you live close enough you could easily make this a regular spot and never get bored. Overall highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for Venezuelan food!

Scott D.

Yelp
Charming spot with pleasant decor, friendly and efficient table service, and excellent food. Full bar and a decent selection of beers. The arepas are terrific and very generous portions.

Surbhi C.

Yelp
We went there and saw a huge group waiting to be seated. We thought that we will have to wait for good now to be seated and served. Surprisingly we were seated in 15 minutes and served fast as well. The staff was friendly and food was good. Thought the vegetarian bowl with cabbage I took felt not enough filling but rest of the food was delicious. The chilled beer was the best.

Joseph M.

Yelp
The service was prompt and kind. Brought a high chair for the baby without having to ask. But the food, muy sabroso! Had the arepitas, yucca, pabellon arepa, and cachapas blonde con platanos. Instant nostalgia for the food I ate growing up in Venezuela. And then the drinks! We had a dirty mojito and a Venezuela Libre. Perfectly made. Wish we lived in town.

Marcus R.

Yelp
The food is very phenomenal here!! It was my first time eating Venezuelan food. Totally different experience from the traditional Tex-Mex and Mexican food restaurants around Texas. One nothing was spicy, the taste was a unique experience. So unique I want to go back to try the other entrees on the menu. I ordered the Parrillita from the crazy cravings and my wife ordered the LLanera from the arepas part of the menu. When they brought our food out, they were kind enough to tell my wife how to eat her dish properly. The portions of the food more than enough for two people honestly, but definitely order your own entree and share with your family or significant other. I ordered the top shelf margarita and had two of them I might say! They were so delicious and good they took the edge off for sure. The ambiance of this place looks very nice and upscale. It's definitely a place to go on a date or eat with your family. My only complaint about my experience here is here was how loud it was in here. They could definitely use a white noise system to help with the noise level. It was hard to hear our waiter and waitress a few times when we were ordering and when they were checking on us. They do accept contactless payment; however during my experience I had to use it at their front register. My waitress did say there experience issues with their ordering devices. Overall, my experience was phenomenal here and I recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new for food.

Lyly D.

Yelp
So darn yummy!! We love coming to see Lorena! She is so sweet she makes this place feel so inviting and homey! I added roasted mushrooms to my parrillita bowl so yummy! Ground beef empanadas so yum!

Evan B.

Yelp
This place is truly a gem of a find. The staff are all super friendly and the food is wonderful. They have about a dozen booths and some 4-6 top tables available to sit. It can fit a decent amount of people comfortably. They also have a bar available if you'd prefer. The staff are all really great. They'll read back to you what you ordered and confirm if you want all the ingredients included (they'll name those out as well). They'll also keep your drinks topped off and clean up your table as you eat so you feel more comfortable. The food is really wonderful and even with the convenience and the amazing service, the food is what I look forward to the most. The Taquinos are like a cheese stick in some kind of batter deep fried. It's delicious. Today I ordered a Mixed Papito sandwich. The bread was amazingly cooked and tasted great. It wasn't soggy but also wasn't dry. It was the perfect sauce ratio. I highly recommend this place.

Neeharika P.

Yelp
Decent place for arepas and other Venezuelan food. The plantain chips appetizer was quite good and reminded me of Indian papdi chat. The Parrillita bowl was pretty filling, one bowl split by 2 was more than enough. We ordered guava pie for dessert and honestly this was the biggest miss of the meal. The pie was so overloaded with vanilla ice cream on top that I didn't get any taste of guava in a bite at all. The pastry crust was not really well baked and felt grainy. Service was good and the location was quite convenient.

Jae L.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place coming up from Austin and there was accident on i35 that caused massive delay. Did quick food search and this restaurant came up near where we exited. Never had this style of wrap. The inside's contents were delicious. However the masa wrap is somewhat of an acquired taste especially if your use to tortilla or pita. The empanada was also tasty.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Excellent dishes served by nice people. You should give this place a look. Cachapas are the most amazing dish.

Audrine M.

Yelp
We (3 adults & 1 toddler) went to Arepitas for lunch after doing a trail at Old Settlers Park. Needless to say, we were starving till the time we Arepitas. Our server was very pleasant and took us to a booth. Thankfully, there was no waiting. My toddler was give ln his own kida menu and a coloring paper and crayon, which kept him occupied. The service was pretty quick, and we had Tostonos (appetizers we shared among adults) and the paralitta bowl (shared between 2 adults). The bowl is a good size. We both were full and yet had some additional to spare. Food on the whole was great. I will definitely return to try the arepas. The place itself has a very chill, casual feel. Recommend it for some good Venezuelan food. Definitely try their fresh pineapple juice. I loved it.

Rhonda M.

Yelp
Looka here looka here... we've passed this place dozens of times just being in the area but we had some time to kill and was starving so why not When we walked in the music was doing it's thing with the aromas and had us dancing to our table. We were seated promptly and Gustavo graciously educated us and served us with top notch service. He even cooked our food Speaking of food, Husbae had the Caribeña and I had the Texan with shrimp added. When those plates came to the table Gustavo told us how to eat it and it was on! The flavors burst into your mouth and not one ingredient tasted the same so it was a unique blend of flavors with every bite. The only reason we still had the Arepita left on the plate was because we were too full to go on. Great food, excellent service and fabulous vibe. We will definitely be back!

Jinna R.

Yelp
I saw great reviews on Yelp about this restaurant and it is pretty close to our house so I thought I would give it a try. I do not have a lot to say about it. Personally, the food was okay but not the 4.8 rating as it shows on Yelp & Google. FOOD: 1. AREPAS: We got "Llanera" (added plantain) and "The Texas" and they both were decent (the great thing is they gave you a huge portion of protein), but unfortunately we didn't care much fir their arepas since they were so dry and hard to eat. I'm not sure if it was a fluke or that's just how their arepa texture is like normally. Their sauce on the other hand was delish (garlicky). 2. EMPANADA: We love their empanada (softer and more edible than their arepas), the filling was good! 3. FRIED YUCA: they were alright, nothing to write home about. SERVICE: We ordered their food online and picked them up and had no issue with the order but we had to wait for a while in the parking lot before our food was ready and some of their staff do not speak English, so be prepared! AMBIENCE/LOCATION: they are located on Green Lawn Blvd across HEB (Louis Henna), so there are plenty of parking spaces in front the restaurant (by the way, BayLeaf Indian food next door is also a great place to check out - see my review for them). PRICE: In my opinion, it is pricey for this type of food that only requires assemble of ingredients but their portion size makes up for it. VERDICT: All in all, I would get their Empanadas again, but with how long it took to get our order last time, I'm not sure we will go back again anytime soon.

Doreen T.

Yelp
We've had arepas before in LA, and these are way better and TX size!  It was quite busy when we arrived on a recent Saturday night, but our group of 6 were seated about 20 minutes later.  Our server was super sweet and friendly.  Hubby and I shared: The Caribeña arepa - It had shrimps, onions, red bell peppers, avocado, cabbage salad, and cilantro. We asked for the spicy and garlic sauce on the side but it was really quite flavorful already. This thing was like a mini mountain in my hands and I had to flip it back and forth in order to eat it. Chicken Empanada - All I can say is I'm glad we shared this and not ordered an extra arepa for the 2 of us. lol I'm so glad we had Venezuelan food vs another TX BBQ place. A great restaurant and we hope to visit again next time we are visiting Austin area.

Russell Allen Z.

Yelp
Food was somewhat bland, not really to our taste. It wasn't bad but this wouldn't be on the top of my list of places to go if we couldn't think of where to eat. The serving time wasn't long per se but was long enough where we had the question "where is our food?". This was in dinner time so its understandable. The place was spacious, wasn't jam-packed full of tables and seating. Its more like a 3.5 star tbh but ill be nice and make it a 4.

Alice B.

Yelp
I got a pernil sandwich to go and it was really good. High quality bread and the meat was really tender. The French fries were also amazing. Would definitely get this again! Also the staff were very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly.

Cilicia L.

Yelp
I love this restaurant, and eat here frequently. I usually order an arepa, but since I was celebrating my birthday with a group of friends, I ordered the Pabellon bowl with yuca fries. It was delicious, but more food than I bargained for. I do love the combination of flavors. We were there on a Friday night, and the place was crowded. It was also very loud, not the best conditions for a big group trying to have conversations. Apparently several other people were there celebrating birthdays, and the staff enjoyed delivering a raucous birthday song along with a complimentary dessert. The birthday parties appeared to enjoy the celebration, but I was glad my friends hadn't requested one for me. I brought gluten-free cupcakes for my party to enjoy, and the restaurant was fine with me serving them at the table. Arepitas will continue to be a restaurant that I continue to frequent.

Miguel T.

Yelp
If you're into Venezuelan arepas (they're stuffed instead of topped) this was a really nice place to try. Service is nice and attentive - sandwiches are a little messy, but delicious!!!!! ...and you can even opt to have the sandwich as a bowl (lesson learned for next time). The Tequeños are an appetizer worth trying - imagine perfectly fried cheese sticks, perfect on the breading too! If you're a carnivore, the Llanera arepa is delicious!!!!! As is the Pabellon - the Cachapas looked like something we'll go back and try out next time...for sure! The fresh squeezed orange juice in the mimosas was very refreshing! All in all, nice place to try out some Venezuelan arepas...

Naruby S.

Yelp
La yuca frita- wow! Todo lo que he probado de aquí es divino! He probado las arepas peludas, los tequenos son los mejores de Austin sin duda alguna, y el pabellón criollo divino. Altamente recomendado. The fried yucca is to die for! This place serves delicious Venezuelan food and I highly recommend it!!

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Delicious food and great atmosphere. I had the parrillita bowl with fried yuca. I added jalapeño and spicy sauce. It is a lot of food. You could easily share with someone.

Ed S.

Yelp
Have eaten there multiple times and enjoyed it. The yucca fries weren't our favorite, but having never had yucca before, possibly it was good yucca. Service always super.

Raquel M.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I were adventurous last weekend and decided to try somewhere new! Arepitas was not too crowded, but it was popular! Great ambiance upon entering the restaurant. Good music. They do have a bar, even though it was too early for us to drink. The service: we did have a sweet server but it took so long to get our food. I mean, that must have been at least 45 mins of waiting. Once we did get our food, the portions were a bit overwhelming. I honestly could've shared mine. As a Latina, I was missing some of the seasoning in the meat (but that's just me being picky). Huge note: if you ask for sides of salsa (hot sauce), they are not free. We had no idea and we ordered a bunch. It would've been nice if we had been given a heads up. Parking: no problem. Food: 6 out of 10. Customer service: 6 out of 10 I would come back and try something else!

Serena S.

Yelp
Service: The waitstaff and host were all incredibly kind and helpful. Food: We ordered the tequenos for appetizer which were great! For entrees, we ordered the llanera, a cachapa, and crazy fries. The steak from the llanera was extremely juicy and flavorful. The crema was light and a great addition to the arepa. I have eaten a lot of different arepas and this one would have to be the biggest. I would say it is more of a Venezuelan fusion as I rarely see option with angus steak. The cachapas are a bit on the sweet side, but if you like cream and cheese, these cachapas are perfect for you. The crazy fries taste and look exactly how they sound! They are definitely filling while also being a fun fusion side.

Henthusiasts C.

Yelp
So so so so so so so good! Don't hesitate! We'd never had Venezuelan before and we've been back 4 times since. Go, enjoy, and spread the word!

Edward R.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite bites of food in the Austin area. Any type of food. Any price. The Cachapas, the pabellon bowls, the pepito sandwich... all fantastic. It's not a cheap lunch by any means but the serving sizes and quality is worth every penny and then some. Service? Supremely kind and beautiful people working here! They do have a full service bar and some local beer on tap (Pinthouse Jellyfish)

John C.

Yelp
Restaurant was clean and service was good. Prices or on the high end but reasonable for a sit down restaurant. The meat in my arepas was very good but I did not care for the arepas itself. I found it to be a bit tough and dry. My girlfriend got the Cachapas and said it was good but a bit sweeter than she would have liked.

Jeanna L.

Yelp
Been multiple times, had a great experience every time! Do NOT skip the Tostones and DO add a protein ( shrimp or shredded chicken)- I've had both ways! What is a Tostone, you ask? (These are fried plantains with cabbage, cheese, avacado, cilantro, with house made sauce. I've had tostones multiple places, and they are usually dry and not amazing, BUT these are really great! Interesting fact: the building they are in has changed so many times over the years that I really want them to stay in business, so happy to tell everyone about them. Plus, their staff is super sweet and mostly family. Good Mojitos can be hard to find and they have nailed that one too! We have ordered a plethora of dishes, and every one is super yummy, especially if you're a garlic fan. Bonus Tip: they play salsa music too and have some fun nights for customers.

Aria H.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner on Monday around 8. They were busy but not packed. Everything looked clean and well lit. Our server mentioned they were understaffed, but the drinks and food and service were all impeccable. I ordered pineapple juice, which was definitely very fresh, and The Caribeña. I added steak to mine for a surf and turf arepa! It was phenomenal. The meat was seasoned, the shrimp were jumbo, and the flavors all paired so well together. These are jumbo stuffed arepas! I had to eat some of the filling with a fork just so I could get to a point of eating the arepa in the customary way. Wow! Definitely a hidden gem in RR. Will be back!

Barbara C.

Yelp
Sorry for the delay....Early in last December we reserved a table at this delightful spot. The ambiance was definitely casual and fun. The staff and management were awesome and went to great lengths to accommodate our party of 8. Now let's talk about the extraordinary menu and the wonderful assortment of farm fresh dishes to tempt your pallet. We will definitely return.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Very generous portions, friendly staff, and LOTS of menu items to choose from! The arepa and cachapa are always my go-to. This spot did not let us down!

Josh P.

Yelp
My fiance and I went for our 2nd visit around 4pm on Saturday. About half the tables were open but there was still a 30 minute wait, I'm guessing so they didn't overseat their servers. We split a pabellon empanada and the llanera arepa. Both were pretty delicious and the service was solid. We didn't feel like drinking but enjoyed a mexican coke which I was excited to find out they had. We'll definitely be back!

Sara T.

Yelp
I was not expecting to find delicious Venezuelan food while out here in TX, but yum! I'm glad I did a Yelp search and found this place for dinner while out visiting Austin, TX. Only ordered two items: the parrillita bowl and the llanera arepa. For the parrillita bowl, we had the option to choose rice, fries, or cabbage, and we decided to go the healthy-ish route and pick cabbage, lol. It was pretty much a salad bowl with lots of chicken and steak - it was very good! The arepa was good but messy to eat with everything dropping out, but it was really good portions with lots of flavor that came from the garlic sauce. Definitely recommend these two items! If you haven't tried Venezuelan food then you have to give this place a try if you're in the area :)

Sharayah G.

Yelp
We ordered the steak arepa with cheese and avocado and it was awesome! The meat had a nice char, they added a mild sauce that was delicious and the avocado was very fresh. The restaurant was also very clean! The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 out of 5 is because the service could have been a bit better, the staff didn't check on us much and took a while to give us our check when asked for it.

Angela M.

Yelp
I can't believe I never completed my review. This place is authentic and delicious and service is excellent. I've not had anything bad here. I think portion sizes are huge and the pricing is fair. They cook everything to order fresh, I really have nothing bad to say. Support local!

Desiree A.

Yelp
We stopped here for a quick lunch while in RR for a soccer tournament and they didn't disappoint. We started with one cheese empanada and a pitcher of sangria. It was just enough for two glasses each. I had the Party Animal (pork/Pernil, cheddar cheese and tomato's). It was massive and a bit difficult to eat. I also that it was salty but that's a matter of taste. My wife had the Pabellon (shredded beef, black beans and sweet plantains). She loved it! If we ever come back we will skip the appetizer and share a dish because they were massive.

Orlando R.

Yelp
Me and my family have been coming to Arepitas for years, and each time has always been a great experience. For our appetizer, we got the Tostones which comes with avocado, cabbage, cilantro, white cheese, and some of their house sauces like mayoketchup and garlic sauce. The plantain base was very crisp with a nice startchy and fluffy interior similar to a potato. Both the avocado and sauces added richness to the dish along with a garlicy sweet finish. The cabbage and cilantro also freshened the overall taste and texture as well. For my entrée I got the Parrillita Bowl which was packed with chicken breast, steak, avocado, white cheese, bell peppers onions, cilantro, and garlic sauce, for the base you can either get cabbage, french fries, rice, or yuca. Overall, the meats were cooked perfectly and were nice and tender and were seasoned just right. In addition, the bell peppers and onions added sweetness to the dish while the avocado and garlic sauce added richness to the dish as well. I got cabbage as my base and added mushrooms which freshened the dish and gave a boost of an umami flavor respectively. All in all the bowl was balanced and very satiating. For dessert we opted for the Passion Fruit Marquese which consisted of a custard, a graham cracker crumb and crust, a whipped cream, and a caramel drizzle. This dessert was phenomenal, the custard from the passion fruit was tart and has a flavor that is reminiscent of a pineapple and a mango. Additionally, the caramel drizzle and cream alleviated the tartness from the custard and the graham cracker crumble and crust added a nice crunch to the dessert. So if you are a fan of tarts or fruit pastries I would highly recommend giving this dessert a try. In regards to ambience and service, our food came out in a timely manner ~10-15 minutes per course and the servers were friendly and very attentive to our needs ensuring that our food came out correctly and the restaurant itself is both lively and uplifting. And lastly, everything was clean, so if you are a fan of Venezuelan food or are open to trying it I highly advise coming here.

Yelp
The interior is beautiful with warm bright colors and there was no trouble finding a place to park. The servers were excellent and very helpful about explaining the detail of a cuisine none of our group of 6 was familiar with. But even before the lunch crowd filled in, the restaurant was really loud, to the point that everyone at table had to practically yell to be heard, and the server had to move around explaining details and price to each. I don't like menus that have no prices on them, but our server explained that with inflation and imported ingredients, prices tend to change. "In only one direction," I thought. Yes, I'm a cynic. I ordered a very tasty Parrilita Bowl, with steak and chicken etc, piled on top of fried Yuca with a delicious garlic sauce. Another tablemate was very happy with her steak arepa, but was surprised at the $15 price tag, for what amounted to a generous variation on a taco. My guy wasn't as happy with his order, a chicken Pepito, which he described as "basically a chicken salad sandwich," with fries, and a weak and very overpriced $14 Cuyagua Sunset. He said it's not in his list for a return visit. All in all, the total for the two of us, with tax and a tip for the very good servers, came to $60. Given that price tag, plus how loud the place was, and my dislike for menus that don't specify price upfront, I don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
First time eating Venezuelan food and wow it blew me away. When we went in, the place was packed! We put our number down for a table of 3 and got a phone call when our table was ready about 15 minutes later. Literally everything we ordered tasted amazing, and the staff were so kind and attentive.

Yelp
The food was so good!!! I definitely recommend the Arepa app with pork, mouthwatering. We also got Arepa "sandwiches" for a main. I wish I would have gotten something different since the only difference in the app is it is deep fried and the breading for the sandwiches is grilled. Still, amazing, just would have like to sample more/different plates. All the pictures on the menu looked so good. The service was also amazing. Our server was really great, she was helpful with recommendations and explaining items to us.

Yelp
The food quality and service are outstanding -- but the prices are steep for Round Rock! And it feels a little disingenuous that no prices whatsoever are listed on any of the menus. For example, I wouldn't have ordered a cocktail if I'd known the price tag was $17. That was my bad for not asking up front and assuming it would be about the going rate for a typical Round Rock area restaurant/bar, but WOW. It cost more than my entree! The food was delicious. As an appetizer, we ordered the tostones -- crispy plantains piled high with veggies and sauces. My husband and I both ordered bowls -- his with a steak/chicken combination and yucca base; mine was Pabellon Criollo with sweet plantains, black beans and a base of rice. The layers of flavors and textures were so good. I would come back again -- but I would probably be that annoying customer that asks about prices before ordering (this information really needs to be on the menu!) We paid about $60 for both of us (before tip) with a shared small appetizer, two bowls, and one cocktail for lunch. I would maybe save this for date night next time, and budget accordingly.

Yelp
Amazing, quality food! We have been here a few times already and every dish has been delicious. I'm also pretty sure I had the best empanadas ever here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorite is the bowls & arepas. The food is consistent and flavorful, always coming out hot and fresh. Get a side of the spicy sauce because it will elevate the flavor so much! Customer service has always been great here. Everyone here is so friendly and cheerful, it makes you feel really welcomed.

Yelp
Was nearby (again been here before) and decided to stop by and I am glad I did. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. They have a great Venezuelan menu. We had a great arepitas and drinks (mojitos and Polar beers). I would highly recommend eating here. If nearby give it a try. Enjoy!!
