I absolutely loved the food at this Afghani traditional restaurant! Every dish was rich with authentic flavor, especially the kabuli pulao and Chapli Kabab. The naan was fresh and perfect, straight from the tandoor. The staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to share their culture. You can truly taste the passion in every bite. I can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

I’m not Afghan, or muslim but I respect the culture, I grow up with Muslims in my Communityand I genuinely wanted to try the food. This was my second time trying Afghan-style food. I first tried the kebab place next door, then came here today. Before coming in, I read the reviews. The first review said the staff was friendly and the food was fresh. That was not my experience at all. I told the girl at the counter that it was my first time there, and she didn’t guide me or explain anything. She barely responded. I ended up ordering chicken kebab with rice because that’s what I assumed was safe. The bread was not fresh, the rice had no flavor, and while the chicken itself had some flavor, the sauce was watery and tasteless. I ate a little and couldn’t finish it. Maybe this is just my experience. Maybe I’m not familiar with Afghan food. But as a first-time customer, I expected some guidance at least being asked what kind of rice I wanted or if I needed any sides. Instead, I felt treated like I should already know the menu, which I didn’t. This was my first time here, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The food was disappointing, the service was not friendly, and I regret spending my time and money at this place. For those reading the reviews, please don’t rely only on the positive ones. This was my honest experience.

I’m a visitor from a distant country from Dallas Texas… this restaurant was outstanding…. If you’re looking for professional gourmet 5 star cooking with a blend of homemade love this is a place that will put a smile on your face. Highly reccomend

It's just amazing Afghani food I ever had in the USA. Best Afghani paloa and chapli kabob. Also, you must try their homemade yogurt. Everything is made fresh when you order and taste superb. I will definitely recommend all the Afghani and peshawari food lovers to visit them. Shout to brother Raham.

A (close) friend strongly recommended Ariana Cuisine and I was very curious because I've never consumed Afgan food before. I recently enjoyed the delicious "Mantu" as well as the "Chicken Korma" which both left a lasting impression. The only downside to the restaurant is that space is very limited, if you plan on dining in. Other than that, I do plan on returning and the restaurant hours are very flexible.

What a gem! Just tried this place for the first time and each dish is better than the last! Highly recommend the chapli kebab, eggplant, dumplings, potato bread, and butter chicken. Can’t wait to come back and try all their other dishes!!

The best Afghan restaurant to have opened in the DFW area so far. I have tried 2-3 other Afghan locations and I can say that the food here is more authentic, diverse, fresh, and flavorful. The owner has always wanted to open a restaurant, so please come support this small Afghan family and their new business. The best way is to order takeout but they have small seating areas if you wanted to stop by and dine-in. Prices are very reasonable for the location ranging from $4-15 max. You won’t be disappointed!

I love Afghan food and this place doesn't disappoint. So happy to find something authentic in Dallas. =) I always get qabuli pillao and everything else I've tried so far has been great.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and pleasantly happy with our meal. It is a very small place, but the food was well made, home made taste. Everything came out hot and fresh. Really good Afghan food in the area!

It's one of my friends favorite place to dine. It's a quaint restaurant located in a plaza. The menu didn't have any information on the ingredients which seemed odd to me. The lady at the cash register was polite and welcoming. I tried the chapli kabob with roasted potatoes and salad. While the meat was cooked amazingly well, the dish lacked seasoning. Flavors were interesting but lack of seasoning made it harder to enjoy the dishes. I did add seasoning myself but i wish it came pre-seasoned. Heads up: there's a long wait for the meal. Don't come over hungry.

Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry, Chapli Kebab, Garlic Naan This was such a cute family owned little shop! The food was so flavorful, with great portions. Butter Chicken was classic and yummy. Chapli kebab was awesome and filling. The highlight for us was the Lamb curry--the flavors were incredible, and the Lamb so tender and amazing. The rice is perfect. The garlic Naan were pretty good but way bigger than we expected! 3 for 3 people was way too much haha. Would definitely come back here!! The service was great. There are a few parking spots in front of the restaurant, and lots of street parking around the corner.

We stopped here on a whim, as we cruised Lower Greenville, looking for something different, something new to eat. The exterior of Ariana didn't really leap out at us; but the idea of Homestyle Afghan food did. The interior of Ariana has been spruced up; but it didn't strike me as somewhere to dine in. It was cold temperature wise and the subway tiles and the one lone metal table with four metal chairs didn't help warm it up. The low slung couches against the wall with low tables in front didn't work for us either. So, "to go" it was, as the menu seemed to be amazing. The afternoon we were there it was the Chef Mother and her Daughter running the show. Most food was cooked to order it seemed with the front handled by her oldest. Frankly, I had to lean in to what I already knew about Middle Eastern food to ask intelligent questions about the menu; but it was still a little difficult to grasp the flavor profile from the daughter. Although they call the well seasoned and flavorful Qorma sauce "curry," it's not like any curry that I've had to date. My husband's Chicken Qorma was wonderful braised dark meat chunks (with a rare bone chip or joint piece) in a deep red tomato sauce that was rich and a little oily. The rice was perfect. The accompanying salad was uninspiring and undressed. We ordered these terrific ground beef stuffed dumplings to share called Mantu Dumplings. Shaped similarly to a tortellini, they were steamed and topped with lentils in a savory tomato sauce. There was a tzatziki type sauce with the 7 of them and they were absolutely delicious. I eventually decided on the Chapli Kabab. Since our order was to go, every box or dish was really a surprise, as we had no expectations. The Chapli Kabab turned out to be two grilled patties that were spicy, tender and so very good. They came with a small mound of very tasty fries, the same, but limper, uninspiring salad and two sauces - a thin spicy vinegary sauce that we didn't care for and a bland cilantro sauce. The Chapli Kabab also came with what I think was Afghan Naan. Actually, I Googled everything we ordered, and more from the Ariana menu, after we got home to see what we were eating for sure. The Naan was not like Indian Naan. This was BREAD. It had thick edges like a pizza, and was chewy and dense. I read about what you are supposed to do with it to eat it and it's purpose is very similar to Indian naan, so my husband tried some with his curry. Very. Chewy. The end result was that we liked all the flavors and the moderate prices. The food was generally well prepared and it traveled well. The online menu certainly has piqued our interest and we'll definitely be back.

Ok there is legit Indian / Afghan food on Greenville Ave! I'm so excited to have found this spot. It's basically a take out place but they do have a small dining area where you can eat if you like. We tried chicken korma, the okra and chicken leg kebab. Ordered a side of the potato bread. Everything was packed with flavor. The chicken korma sauce is delectable but be warned it does have a fair amount of grease. The okra was delicious - I'm looking forward to trying all their other vegetable dishes too. Chicken leg kebab was our least favorite. It was similar to a tandoori chicken prep. The potato bread was a bit salty but also filling and had a ton of flavor. I would get it again. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the little salad that accompanied the dishes. I wish it was something more interesting like a cucumber, tomato and onion salad. Regardless, this place has great food and they are open until 3am on weekends (wtf!?).

Food 5 star. Seating options 3/4 star. Food is delicious. Had Qorme Sabzi and Mantu (based on the recommendation of lady at counter). Qorme- is a lamb type dish I believe and has lots of spinach too. Would order again. Mantu very delicious and would recommend but I like the Qorme more. :) Seating options are not that great. Luckily, for my boyfriend and I, we were the only ones there so we grabbed the only normal table (has 4 chairs to it). Then there is a sofa with coffee table and a few small high tables that are connected to the wall (has high stool too). The space is on the smaller side so can't blame them for it.

One of my favorite places in Dallas to get authentic Indian/Afghan food! I have never had a bad experience coming here. Everything is fresh and flavorful and tastes great every time. My favorite dishes are the butter chicken and koobideh kabob - so good! The menu has a great variety so you are bound to find something you like. The restaurant is small but clean with a few places to sit if you want to dine in. I usually do takeout and the turn around time from ordering to picking up is always accurate and efficient! If the restaurant runs out of an item, they will give you a call and ask you for a replacement. Highly recommend to anyone in the Dallas area.

We traveled from another city to dine here again because we had previously enjoyed the excellent quality of the food. Today, the food quality was very good as well, just like before. However, one thing that was quite upsetting was the behavior of the young lady working there. As Afghans, we place great importance on hospitality, and the initial interaction when entering a place is very important. Unfortunately, this young lady was wearing earphones and greeted us with a cold attitude. She didn't provide a proper welcome, which left us feeling a bit disappointed. That said, the food quality was as excellent as always. We hope the management will pay attention to this aspect in the future.

We LOVE this place and get takeout here all the time. Everything is so good. My only qualm is the garlic naan. Y'all can do better. It needs desperately needs not only garlic, but seasoning and salt etc. it's basically naan you threw a couple clove chunks on. Love your food just need the garlic bread to match everything else!

This should probably be 3 stars because we never got the salads that were supposed to be included with our meals, we had to remind them to bring a drink we ordered, and despite asking about the spice level, our food arrived more spicy than my tender-tongued step father could manage, but they did quickly prepare a heat-free version just for him. Those were the downsides, which could be very significant, but the food we did receive was so amazing that I need to celebrate it. We ordered the eggplant entree, and the quorma sabzi. Both were AMAZING. My mother and I had the food they originally prepared, but I also tasted the milder version they made for my stepfather. Both were excellent. The original was certainly not too spicy for the average diner, my stepfather is just particularly sensitive. They came with perfect Arabic rice with fideo pasta. The bread was also great. The missing salads would have been a welcome addition, but we were so happy with the entrees, I can overlook the shortage. I should have asked for the salads while we were there. This is primarily a delivery operation. They do have a handful of two-seater high tops, and a single round table and chairs (folding table), where we ate.

Unbelievably delicious. Crazy that you can find Afghan food this good in Dallas instead of having to go to the suburbs. The restaurant is small inside, but clean. This is a family run operation- the son that works up front is so polite. We ordered the Aloo Gosht, Bolani, Mantu, and Eggplant. We couldn't stop eating! Food was so tasty we asked to speak to the chef- it was the mom. She was so sweet too. Really recommend this place. We will be back to try more!

This food satisfied my butter chicken craving! Glad to find a reasonably priced, easy take out with an excellent chef. Afghan and Indian blend allows for familiar and new tempting entrees and appetizers. The garlic bread is different from naan but similar and delicious - maybe even better! The dumplings were delicious. I look forward to returning for some new taste combinations!

I throughly enjoyed the grilled fish kabob! With all the flavors and spices. I wish I could have finished all my food. The man behind the counter was patient with me while I weighed my options. Parking is a little rough but it's worth it. Definitely going back!

Ordered this place for take out and this is my new go to Afghani place. Korma Sabzi was so full of flavor, the chapli kabab was cooked to perfection, and the mandu were perfectly seasoned. Very nice hostess. Inside, very casual and great for no frills delicious food!

The BEST Afghan Restaurant in DFW What an amazing addition to Dallas food scene. A cozy family run business with the best service by father and sun. And most delicious food prepared by Mom in the kitchen. The Chapli Kabob are the best in DFW. The meatballs are made fresh in an amazing tomatoes based gravy. The baked bread(Naan) are big in size and taste. Over all great food being prepared and served by even greater staff.

Wow! This place was insanely good. Everything we tried was delicious, the portions were huge, and I find myself craving it again days later. It's a small family run place and parking is limited, but they're on all the major delivery apps so I imagine that's where a lot of their business will come from. The chicken korma was incredibly tasty and not too creamy/rich like more Americanized versions tend to be, although the flavor is insane! The naan was large, fluffy, and fresh. We also tried the butter chicken which was incredibly flavorful. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here and can't wait to go back! Ariana will be making it into my regular takeout rotation for sure.

You need to come here! Omg I can smell heaven from the street! They have traditional dishes and their delicious take on other dishes. It was open late and I happened to be in the area but I'm so glad I stumbled on it! Service was 5 stars, food quality is really good, fresh ingredients, good portions but taste blew it out the park for me. I would drive 30 mins out the area for this again. I want to try everything in the menu. Def recommend. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!!

I've never heard of this place before and at first was hesitant, since they were very few reviews. Certainly ordering at this very late hour of 1 AM. I didn't expect much. However, wow. Wow wow. Forget about pizza. This place is amazing and healthy and delicious. The food, quality, spices, and flavor are unbelievable. It has NOT been sitting around since morning and you can tell it HAS NOT been in the refrigerator with other food. This is the highest quality homemade food, and the subtlety of the flavors are knockout delicious!!! I am blown away how delicious it is and can't wait to order from them again.

10/10, Tasted like a home cooked meal! I had the butter chicken, rice, and salad!!! Fresh real food! Polite service & a relaxing environment to stay and eat in at. I will be coming back, and bringing others to try this Authentic food!

New family owned and operated Afghani restaurant. Everything is fresh and delicious. Bolani, Kabuli Palao and the mantoo-afghani dumplings. Afghani cuisine is so underrated. Blends Indian, Asian, Persian and other cuisines found along the spice road.

Loved this meal! The Butter Chicken was the perfect cozy meal. The Chicken Korma was delicious with a bit of a kick! The Garlic Bread had pieces of roasted garlic on it and was perfect for soaking up extra sauce. The food was ready quickly and service was friendly. So glad to have this in the neighborhood!

Tried for the first time today, after looking online at other reviews and pictures of food online. We just moved to neighborhood I was very excited to try. We ordered dumplings and butter chicken, it was phenomenal! You know that love was put into your food and all the flavor and presentation shows! I highly recommend, I'm very excited to come back and try more things. Definitely trying the bread, hummus and lamb curry next time! It's so nice to have a healthy food option that is very affordable and great quality with love in food

So delicious! Similar to a Indian food but with its own ethnic twist. Everything is home cooked by the owner and fresh. Family run and they are very kind and friendly. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, I love the okra dish, that's my favorite. Comes with a small salad and rice. The berry smoothie is also delicious.

Guarantee you will never have more tasteful and fresh butter chicken than from Ariana Cuisine, the best in the Dallas/FTW area! You can taste the freshness in the chicken and they provide decent portions of the sides that come with the entree.

Just tried this place and it was fantastic. Food was delicious and portions were large. We will be back. We ordered the okra (bamya) and buruni eggplant plus hummus to share. Curiously, the hummus came with chicken, which was a surprise, but it was delicious. It was enough hummus for 4 people to share easily. Service was friendly. Ambiance is cheerful.

This was my first visit to Ariana Cuisine and the food blew me away. I have had Afghani food many times before in other states, but hadn't found any in Dallas. I ordered 3 dishes I have had often at other places so I could have a solid frame of reference. The Kabuli Pulao, a rice dish with lamb, carrots, almonds, and raisins was fluffy and delicious. The lamb was tender, the carrots were perfectly soft, and the seasoning in the dish overall was spot on. The Mantu, beef dumplings with yogurt sauce and lentils on top, are not to be missed. They came out warm enough to eat right away, but not overly hot. My absolute favorite dish was the Burani Eggplant. Soft, succulent eggplant, topped with exquisite tomato and yogurt sauce, served with warm bread. I could have eaten the whole order by myself. The service was somehow both attentive and unobtrusive. I can't wait to go back. Is tomorrow too early?

3.5 stars. This place has become hit or miss. It used to be very consistent, 5 stars all the way. But the last few times I've ordered, the lamb (lamb curry) isn't as tender as it normally is. It normally melts in your mouth. Tonight, is was very tough, barely edible. Not sure I'd order take out from here again, super bummed.

First time here and ordered the Korma Sabzi since I was craving lamb. It was excellent!! Lamb was tender, great sauce and I love how healthy it is with the spinach. I ordered it with extra yogurt sauce, no rice. The proprietors were friendly and answered all my questions. I will be back and try more menu items!!! Small but clean establishment... Crazy how late they're open!!

Picture doesn't do it justice. The food was so good and that's coming from a California Afghan. Restaurant was clean and food was prepared in 15 mins (called in for pickup). Restaurant is a family owned small business. Will def be coming back.

I ordered the mantu, butter chicken and garlic bread to go and WOW!! The flavors are amazing and it really feels homemade. The portions are great and I really can't get over how great the flavor was. Can't wait to eat here again and try other dishes. Highly recommend

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. I live nearby and the restaurants around the Low Greenville strip have started to bore me, or be so expensive they aren't a casual option. I saw this place had just opened up and me and some friends tried it on a whim. Wow!!! Literally everything we got was mouth watering-ly delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. The whole meal we all couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. I also looove that they have healthy options here! The cherry on top is that all the prices are very reasonable. I'll be a regular at this place for sure, I highly recommend it.

Wow! Just finished carryout from Ariana, had to hop online to write a review! We got the sabzi, eggplant, vegetable mix, and veggie balls...all were amazing! Wonderful flavors and textures, and the sabzi and veggie balls both had the perfect spicy kick. Very generous portions, with sides of rice and salad included with each dish. We can't wait to try more items from the menu... We've decided Ariana Cuisine will be our new "go-to"...We're ditching Indian (our standard choice) in favor of this bright, more interesting flavors here. Plus we're always happy to support a new business in the neighborhood...The folks at the restaurant were very nice! :)

Fantastic, authentic afghan food made lovingly by husband and wife duo. Small footprint but huge flavors. Would recommend everything but zucchini and lamb dishes my top picks. I love their butter chicken, samosas, bread, and dipping sauce. They are generous with portion size, too. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

This place is absolutely incredible! I had never had afghan food before and now I'm obsessed. Everything is made fresh and from scratch and it shows in the quality and flavor of the food. The Mantu is to die for, the bolani is incredible and the eggplant birani is possibly the best eggplant dish that I've ever had. If you're ever in the area, you must come try this place!

Food is not good at all. I don't understand the high ratings. We ordered the lamb kabob plate. Lambs were dry to the T and rice was just plain. Salad... salad was a joke. Was like a lazy, again, dry "salad" with no dressing or nothing. They basically shredded uneven pieces of lettuce and some random pieces of bell pepper. Meat was not only dry but absolutely flavorless. I've had better afghan food so for sure can compare easily and this place does not meet afghan food criteria. Sorry but won't be returning and won't be recommending.
