Taco pop up inside of On Tour Brewing. Opted for the California Kani naked mini bowl which was delicious. Fresh simple ingredients and warm rice plus the wasabi peas was the perfect brewery snack. Great addition to on tour. Hours: Thursday - Sunday, from open until they sell out.

If you can make the best tacos ever using only a chafing dish and a rice cooker, imagine what happens when you get your very own full blown kitchen. Spicy Poke is without peer in the taco world. California Kani is way better than you might think and should be your second choice. Everything else is only spectacular.

So happy you've got a place to visit now! I first had the amazing tacos at On Tour brewery and you blew our entire group away. I order the poke tuna taco as a bowl and it's delicious! Great fresh ingredients with spice and a great amount of tuna. I love flexibility to make any taco into a bowl. The new shop is tight but service was quick and efficient. They are also cashless! In addition of the tacos they have different cuts of beef available for purchase. I definitely recommend you try these out!

Super-fresh ingredients go into these tacos! A nice little spot for lunch. I highly recommend getting the 'three tacos for $10' deal because two won't be enough. Plus you can mix-and-match your taco selection. Keep in mind this is fusion food: Asian meets Mexican, or something like that!

This place is AWESOME! i don’t like tacos but I love this place! so many different flavors! spicy tuna, meatballs , burger taco.... its a Great idea! if you are close you HAVE to eat here! This is the meatball and Parmesan! 3 just for $10! Also they have mini bowls!

If you're usually going to pilsen for tacos or really like the creativity of velvet taco, you might not like this place much. It's obvious that the owner care and there is pretty good customer service, but the tacos just don't have that amazing flavor I was expecting after seeing all these 5 star reviews. It's just weird that all the tacos have rice, like what's up with that?! And they don't taste that great, sadly.

Had their tacos at Metropolitan Brewery today. These tacos were lame. Mostly tortilla, very little filling and they tasted lackluster. Honestly felt like I could make better tacos at home. I don’t get all the good reviews.

Arigato had a pop up shop at, On Tour Brewing, and the tacos were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had! The meatball risotto taco was amazing! Will definitely be planning a trip to visit the actual shop soon. Highly recommend!

Had these at another site (On Tour Brewing) after seeing the rave reviews here and I was ... pretty disappointed? The tuna one was okay, but the cheeseburger one was lacking in flavor and had a really mushy texture. Maybe they're way different at their own brick-and-mortar location, but considering the rave reviews on here, I had better expectations.

I wanted to like this place, I swear. A hole in the wall type place in a mildly sketchy area - seemed to have all the ingredients to be a little gem of a restaurant. There is basically no seating, by the way. Take out only. We ordered a bunch of decidedly fusion tacos - poke tuna, tomato meatball risotto, tofu, tonkatsu. The only one that was good was the meatball risotto, which tasted like a normal beef taco. The others were very disappointing. The poke had an odd sour flavor to it. The tofu was very bland despite being smothered with aioli. The tonkatsu was soggy and overall unpleasant.

Definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite or takeout! Arigato Market was my favorite pop-up at On Tour Brewery. It's new location is small, but does have some window seating. Favorites: 1. Tuna Poke - OMG OMG OMG. They limit one per order because they're just THAT good. 2. Meatball + Risotto - The meatball, sauce, risotto, cheese combo is so on point. 3. Panko Pork - Good crispy crunch, but a bit sweet if you're into that. Can't wait to try the rest!

Portion is a little small but ingredients are very fresh and flavorful. There are multiple veggie and vegan options. You can make any tacos into a mini bowl. The front of the market doesn't stand out as a restaurant so is easily missed. Pleasant and simple decor into with a few stools as seating. Plenty of free parking around. Worth a try.

Tell me from Maui I am a big fan of fish tacos I was very surprised at how tasty the fish tacos from Arigato market are I can live on those whenever I visit Chicago great people working that company

Before I say/write anything else, let me preface this review by saying that the food here is decidedly and unabashedly "fusion." If you have a problem with that, probably shouldn't be too surprised when you come here and are shocked by what you're eating. Anyways, saw that this place opened up today and thought I'd give it a try. The space itself is pretty small - there are only 6 spaces to eat in, so the focus seems to be more about take-out. They're still figuring some stuff out with the process but no real red flags and service was good/prompt. Menu-wise, it's pretty much split between steaks to take home and cook, and the tacos. Canned sodas are there but the selection is currently limited to LaCroix and Coke. I ate the following, ordered by enjoyment (least to greatest): - Fully Loaded Crushed Hamburger: To me, this tasted a bit like cheesy rice with some ground beef sprinkled in. It wasn't bad, but the sauce to meat ratio seemed a bit off, and it was a tad messy to eat. - Japanese Curry Chicken: This tasted like the Japanese curry you could make from one of those boxes at the grocery store, which sounds like a bad thing but I swear isn't at all. There was a bit of mayo topped, which tasted a bit interesting when mixed with the curry. I'm still a bit undecided on how I feel about mixing those, but outside of that it was pretty decent. - Panko Pork Tonkatsu: Pretty good. The tonkatsu felt pretty crispy, and there was enough sauce to give it some extra flavor. - California Kani Salad: Yea, I wouldn't mind ordering just 3-4 of these or maybe a bowl next time. The mango and crab salad was really good, and there was a generous portion of roe mixed in between. If I had to make one quibble about it, it's that it could have done without as much soy-yuzu sauce, as it kind of drenched the rice and made that more salty than the crab salad itself. This one's a winner in my book. Overall, they're still getting ironing out the kinks, so there's nothing that's glaring that I would really say. The experience and service was good, and the space, while small, feels pretty welcoming. And the food? For 4 bucks a taco (or 3 for 10), if you view them as flour tortilla vehicles to get just the right/snack amount of something you want to eat but don't want a whole entree of, this is pretty good. Solid start, would come again for a taco or two if I'm ever around the area again.

Pop up at Metropolitan Brewing was solid. I had buffalo chicken, deviled egg, and pork tonkatsu. All delicious and spicy and pairable with fine Chicago lager beers.

Excellent new addition to the neighborhood! Small venue, (not a lot of seating,) but the food is fantastic. They have a special, three tacos for ten dollars, which is what I got. The tacos are a good size and three left me sated. I got the tuna poke, meatball risotto, and Japanese curry. The meatball risotto was good, but the tuna and curry were excellent! My wife got the pork taco which was also excellent. We went during lunch and service was fast and friendly. They are a cashless business, so be ready for that. They were not very busy, but I'm sure that's going to change, so come here soon!

This space is small with a handful of stools along the windowsill so if you're looking to have some alone time to munch on your tacos, don't expect a lot of privacy. But John, the server/cashier/taco-maker/marketer, was really friendly and def is invested in the joint. They sell different cuts of beef frozen and a few of their own desserts, a sauce, and edamame. I love their local roots and their concept of using the whole cow. If I'm going to eat meat, I'd like to know everything is going to get used. Their tacos are definitely fusion based, all on a soft flour tortilla. I had the Japanese curry chicken, poke, and tofu tacos. There's a $10 for 3 deal - which I think was enough to feel full and if I was going to get 2 tacos, might as well round it out. The flavors were good - the poke taco was probably the best in terms of flavor. The curry taco could use more texture differential to offset the mushy texture of the curry. But I liked the flavor - if you like Japanese curry, it tastes like a portable Japanese chicken curry with rice. Tofu taco was also a bit on the mushy side and the yuzu sauce could have used more balance, maybe a sweetness. It's a fun place if you're into trying fusion tacos but I think the flavors can be improved. They've only been around since Jan 2019 so they've got time to refine what they're doing at this spot - a little butcher shop, a little local representation, a little taco shop.

I've been here loads of times but am just getting around to reviewing. The staff are always friendly, and there are some local products for sale as well. Having tried most of the tacos, my favorite is definitely the hiyayakko tofu. The light soy-yuzu sauce gives it the perfect acidity and the thinly-sliced scallions and radishes have great bite. As a taco it's great, but I prefer to get it as a mini-bowl since it's easier to eat. Plus, at $7 it's a bargain if you're trying to watch your calories.

Love this place! The food is awesome. Have tried lots of menu items and have yet to be disappointed. The flavors are unique- no place doing similar style in city. Find myself here often! Always quick and great service too

Brett's taco's are fantastic. I came across them at On Tour Brewing (also a 5 start establishment) and fell in love with them there. He recently started doing bento boxes which are incredible. The Japanese Vegan Yasai Curry bento box will sustain me through the cold months. Do not sleep on this West Town gem. Tacos with a Japanese twist. Say no more.

Definitely 5 stars! Stopped by Arigato this evening for a quick dinner. Had three tacos (meatball, chicken curry and deviled egg) and all were AMAZING! Staff was great and suggested some favorites. Loved the quality and freshness of the tacos and the flavors worked really well together on each taco! Absolutely recommend supporting this small business.

Great spot! Our Airbnb was really close to here so my friends and I needed to get some food and stopped by here. The owner was awesome and very friendly. I had the burger taco, poke taco, and meatball taco. All three were $10. I will definitely be back here before I head out for a quick bite.

Super unique most take out spot in West Town. It started as a food truck, but now they have a minimalist location here. Literally all 5 tacos my wife and I tried were incredible. Our favorites were the curry chicken, poke tuna, cheeseburger, and pork. A lot of care is put into each taco by the owner, and we were able to take it home to enjoy, and it was still hot. Definitely will head back.

Absolutely delicious. I was extremely impressed- the ingredients are so fresh. I am a picky meat eater but the chicken was perfect. I had the cheeseburger taco, vegetarian taco, meatball taco and hot buffalo chicken. They were each SO incredibly flavorful and well crafted. I cannot wait to get them again- and would definitely recommend them to friends and visitors!

Tried this on a whim due to really favorable press. Food was fresh and tasty. Very reasonable prices for good food. Probably more of a Grubhub accessible spot than eat in, but it was fun sitting at their window counter watching the local traffic and the owner was fun to talk with. Will definitely return.

I just found my new favorite place. So much flavor in a little taco. I got the California crab taco and the buffalo chicken and the cheeseburger taco. So yum

Great tacos and reasonably priced. You really can't go wrong- we tried 6 kinds and they were all good- but the kani and the tonkatsu were our favorites. We'll definitely be back- wish they were open late!

I've had the Bento Boxes two times now and I must say it was delicious! Loved the curry box, amazing flavor. It definitely hit the spot! Great for lunch or dinner. Excited to order more, & get some of my favorite tacos from Arigato as well! Love, love, love the meatball taco! Thanks for the great, flavorful meals Arigato!!!

I tried this new place for lunch with a friend. It is very small, room for 4-6 people to eat at the counter. Let me say up front that I would go back again. However, I would describe the food as both a hit and a miss. The pork taco was one of the hits. Tasty pieces of crispy pork and delicious sauce. The deviled egg taco was also a hit, but really was more of an egg salad taco. Completely different idea and done well. The California taco was average and as you expect of a California (fake) crab roll, except on a flour tortilla. The meatball taco was meh; more of a sloppy joe. I do hope this little spot can drum up enough business to give it a go.

When I went to Arigato Market I had no expectations because I felt like the fusion taco ingredients were so different than anything I'd had. I was so happy to find that I LOVED my tacos. I'm a vegetarian and got both the Hiyayakko Tofu Taco and the Vegetarian Taco (I tried my husbands Deviled Egg Salad Taco too!) and I loved all three of them! They were so fresh and the flavors complimented each other so well! The place itself was small but cool and the person working there was friendly and helpful! Highly recommend you check it out!

Terrific tacos, thoughtfully put together with interesting ingredients, all served by friendly and efficient staff. Also, with at least three different vegetarian friendly Tacos, there are some good options if you don't eat meat.

We are new to the neighborhood and our neighbors raved about this place. It exceeded our expectations! Great options for vegetarians too.

Food is very good!! I had previously had their food at their pop up location at on tour brewing and I'm so happy they have a permanent, physical location.
