Arlington

This used to be Le Caprice, infamous for being the late Princess Diana's favourite restaurant. Closest tube station is Green Park. The restaurant is tucked down a side street, a short walk away. Jeremy King used to own Le Caprice between 1981 - 2000 & after it closed down during the COVID pandemic, he re-opened it, as The Arlington, in March 2024. As with all of his restaurants, the decor & interiors are beautifully designed & stylish. David Bailey photographs adorn the walls. They serve food until late & currently offer "Night Owl" table reservations whereby if you book after 21.45, you will get 25% off your food. Great idea. They offer classics like Bang Bang Chicken & Chicken Pot Pie plus exciting veggie dishes like BBQ Cauliflower Steak. The service is friendly, efficient & swift. Everyone was very helpful & knowledgeable about the dishes etc. We'll be back.

Food and service were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Drinks selection was very good and thoroughly enjoyed. The only negative was the piano playing which was too loud for the room and meant at times we were struggling to speak without shouting, no disrespect to the pianist, but I think a cd would be more appropriate as it could be lowered during busy periods. All in all an enjoyable visit and I will be back.

The most delicious lunch ever! Wonderful atmosphere and good old Caprice classics on the menu. We were beautifully looked after by Eric. Can’t wait to come back!

This evening wasn't my first time here (and I am surprised that I didn't a review before). What an evening! Fantastic reception by the very kind host, the entire team looked after us so well, which made the catch up with my friends who I haven't seen in a year all the better. Food and beverage wise, we couldn't have asked for better, beautifully cooked scallops and exquisite Bang Bang chicken, followed by my fav Salmon fish cakes. No meal is complete without the tart-sweet-cold-warm Berries with white chocolate sauce and a delightfully incredible cheesecake. What really made me feel incredibly welcomed that after 2 hours of flowing conversations and as the table is needed (and understandably so) we were offered to be seated at the terrace to finish off the coffee and maybe a night cap, which was the cherry on top. Can't recommend this enough. Mr King should be very proud of this establishment.

A Saturday walk-in impromptu at 2:45 for a lingering and savory lunch till 5:00ish. value for money weekend lunch menu for a song and the food is good to write home about. Decent wine list for mesmerizing moment. And a better than expected crowd who dressed up properly to match the chic atmosphere . Excellent front of the house and knowledgeable sommelier. Top flight service with good humour as well

There are few restaurateurs who understand what makes a great restaurant quite like Jeremy King. Having sold Le Caprice—that most civilised of London institutions—he's now reclaimed the space and rechristened it Arlington. The result is precisely what one might hope for: all the charm of its predecessor, with every detail carefully attended to. The room remains understated and elegant. The lighting flatters, the acoustics allow for proper conversation, and the entire atmosphere suggests you're welcome to linger. But it's the service that truly distinguishes Arlington. Ruth at the front of house deserves particular mention—welcoming, friendly, and possessed of that rare ability to make you feel looked after whilst managing an entire dining room with seamless grace. King has always understood that a great restaurant is about the entire experience, not just what arrives on the plate. Arlington delivers on this with the quiet assurance of someone who's been perfecting the art for decades. There's something deeply satisfying about a place that simply does everything properly. Arlington is precisely that.

This might be the most elegant restaurant in the world. From the impeccable service to the exquisite flavours, everything was absolutely outstanding. The interior featured stunning Art Deco design. This is, without a doubt, my favourite restaurant! Hats off to Mr Jeremy King!
