"Arriba Cantina is a perfectly fine Mexican restaurant that you should know about if you’re in Ravenna. We like how they top their guacamole with cotija and pomegranate seeds, but we find the grilled salmon tacos with pickled sea beans to be a bit bland. You win some, you lose some. Regardless, we’ll be back for some beers, chips, and the very moist guajillo rotisserie chicken if we’re ever craving Mexican in the neighborhood." - Aimee Rizzo

Amazing service and great neighborhood spot. The tinga chicken tamale was a great portion and decent flavor, the chicken was cooked with care. The smoked queso was delicious, how could melted cheese and fried chips be bad. The salmon tacos took it down a star, slightly fishy and way over salted, however this is where the service came in and saved the day the owner took the tacos off the bill. It is understandable that a new restaurant is working through fine tuning menu items and managing work flow, so there is hope that in a couple of weeks or months this place with be the best Mexican in Ravenna/Bryant.

Amazing food and the service is very friendly! The chips are homemade (incredibly good) and the salsa is amazing! And, the portions are HUGE! Highly recommended!

I like the atmosphere and the service deserves 5 stars but I wasn't overly excited about the food. I had a salad with chicken added and there was something sweet about it. I'm not a sweet in my salad kind of girl so I struggled. The tacos are small, like a bit smaller than street tacos but tasty. Husband had to ask for an additional order to fill up.

This place had amazing dishes. Every dish felt like I was eating it for the first time in a long while. We had the tuna ceviche, half chicken, short rib tacos, and mushroom tamales. All were amazing. The tuna ceviche dish was a little small, but easily the favorite of our group, and we ordered a second one for the table. We couldn’t decide on a second favorite dish. We all got margaritas, and agreed that they weren’t great; too sweet. Would recommend something else. The prices aren’t cheap, but fair. The rest of the portions were good, the half chicken was large.

Arriba Cantina has the best HH. Highly recommend the wings. Ryan and Kirk are also beyond the best!

Fantastic Mexican food with respect for coastal traditions, flavors and ingredients. Friendly servers, lively atmosphere and great dishes to share. A little on the pricier end for Mexican food, but it's executed well. The margaritas are wonderful, and I highly recommend the side of picked vegetables, which have hints of tamarind and chili infused. This place is a welcome addition to the growing Ravenna dining scene!

This place tries to position itself as an upscale, traditional, family friendly Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, the menu is very limited, the food just isn’t that good and it’s somewhat expensive too. I tried the guacamole, a salad and the snapper. The guacamole and salad were good, but the snapper was terrible; over seasoned and the meat tasted off too. The beans and rice that came as sides were really bland and the tortillas were absurdly small, dry and tough. Additionally, the total bill was a more than I would normally expect to pay at most Mexican restaurants in town, which felt very out of touch with the quality. I will consider going back, but with such a limited menu and such a disappointing, expensive meal I might wait until they revisit their dishes.
