This place tries to position itself as an upscale, traditional, family friendly Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, the menu is very limited, the food just isn’t that good and it’s somewhat expensive too.
I tried the guacamole, a salad and the snapper. The guacamole and salad were good, but the snapper was terrible; over seasoned and the meat tasted off too. The beans and rice that came as sides were really bland and the tortillas were absurdly small, dry and tough.
Additionally, the total bill was a more than I would normally expect to pay at most Mexican restaurants in town, which felt very out of touch with the quality.
I will consider going back, but with such a limited menu and such a disappointing, expensive meal I might wait until they revisit their dishes.
