I stayed overnight for a work meeting. The location is close to a lot of places to eat and things to do. The beds were VERY comfortable. The sheets and blankets were thick and comfortable too. I really enjoyed the sound machine next to the bed and the little table in the room. I ended up sitting at the table to work. The sound machine was great because the location can be very loud, especially on the weekend. Room and hotel had a moody vibe that I really enjoyed. Would be great for a couples retreat or getaway to Austin. Not really a kid friendly hotel. ||||Con= Parking was a bummer as it was valet only and an additional $42. No amenities at the hotel. No pool, hot tub or exercise area.

I love this hotel! I've probably stayed here 20+ times in the past couple years and I have never had a bad experience. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean and just overall very comfortable. All the staff I've talked to are friendly and helpful; I have always felt taken care of and appreciated. If you check-in and talk to someone named Eloys, you're in good hands. He is the person I have interacted with the most and he has always worked with me when I am arriving late or early to make sure I feel prioritized. Additionally, I like the neighborhood better than downtown Austin and I have never had a problem finding street parking.

Our experience at Arrive Austin was nothing less than amazing. From the extremely comfortable beds, high profile interior design, impeccably clean rooms, and convenience to so much to do from eating to drinking to shopping and exercise, we couldn’t have asked for more. On top of that, it was pet friendly, offered valet, and had efficient room service. Luciano at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful when we decided to book a second night and extend our trip since we didn’t want to leave. He was kind to our pet and was always so hospitable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

So this hotel is in a great location with a ton of great food around. Perhaps it’s for this reason they don’t have to try hard to impress customers. The service was minimal. I was checked-in & that was the extent of the service provided. The room was not cleaned once during my 3 night stay (no new sheets, towels, etc.). However my largest complaint is regarding the horrible pillows. I had 4 pillows on my bed and all 4 were lumpy. This place is very Instagram worthy but I wouldn’t consider it if you’re looking for something remotely luxurious.

We had a great overnight stay. The staff are so friendly, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. Loved that they have bath sheets instead of the small towels most hotels have. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back!!

Google
Our valet, Jacob was WONDERFUL. He went above and beyond to be accommodating. He was the best part of our stay. The front desk gentleman was also very pleasant but I didn't get his name. The room was cool and in a great location to explore Austin and the bed was great but there are some things that will keep me from returning. The cement floors. Wow. Cool looking but absolutely mind numbing cold on your feet. Bring slippers. The windows were so thin we could hear conversation from the street 5 stories up. There was no coffee in the room. Even motel 6 has coffee in your room. There were no clocks or phone to call for service.

We had a room block here for our wedding weekend, and hosted our wedding after party event at the Arrive. All of the staff, and most especially Joshua, were so incredibly kind and helpful. Joshua was quick to respond throughout the planning process, and it meant so much to us that he seemed genuinely so excited for us to be organizing parts of our wedding weekend at the Arrive. The location, the hotel aesthetic, and, most importantly, the service was amazing. We are so grateful we found the Arrive! We will definitely be back to stay again.

Google
Luciano at the front desk is fantastic. We had a wonderful time here. The hotel is clean, decor is impeccable, food is great, price is fair, and service is on point. The location is also quite close to all the night life, but not so close that you run into the crowd on your way out. It’s the right distance from most of Austin. Will return!

Yelp
Great location in East Austin! The address is on 6th Street but the main entrance and valet is actually on Chicon Street. The lobby is small and simple. The lady at the front desk was prompt and friendly and took 3 minutes to check me in. I had a studio room which was very spacious for my 2 night, solo stay. The room was modern and clean. There's a mini fridge filled with goodies for purchase. There is a small, open hanging closet plus drawers underneath the TV cabinet. The safe is also located in the cabinet under the TV. There is a table/booth seating area that's perfect for eating meals or just lounging around. The bed was comfy and clean and there were curtains to cover the large windows. My room was facing 6th Street, across from Whisler's Bar. It was definitely loud on a Saturday night, so be wary of that if you need peace and quiet to sleep. I'm deducting one star from this review because I had 2 issues during my stay. I had booked a 2 night/3 day stay and on my 2nd day there I got a phone call in the afternoon, from the front desk, telling me that I was supposed to check out at 11am but my luggage was still in the room. I had booked this hotel through my Chase travel credit card/website so I had to forward them this confirmation to confirm I was booked for an additional day. Thankfully they didn't pack my things up and let me remain in the same room for an additional night. The 2nd issue I had was on the day I was checking out. I was still in bed at 9:30am, awake thankfully, when a staff member opened my door and was surprised to see me and stated that he was told my room was vacated this morning. He quickly left but then 10 minutes later, a housekeeper let herself into the room and also stated she was told I was gone. Why those two didn't communicate to each other that I was still in the room was very irritating. I was paranoid the whole time I was in the shower and getting ready, that someone else would barge in. FYI - I also had the do not disturb sign outside my door, since the night before, so that seemed completely useless. Overall, the rooms are great - spacious, super clean, and modern - I would probably stay here again. The miscommunication three times during my 2 night stay was irritating to me but overall I felt safe here and the staff remained friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
I love the hotel. It's eclectic, the colors are great, it's clean. The shower is large and amazing, the hand and body products don't have an overwhelming smell. I love the heavy curtains that shut out the light. The elevator is quiet and quick. They even have a small restaurant and bar area. The person that checked me in was very nice and helpful and tried to answer questions about the neighborhood in a diplomatic way. Be careful if you're out walking around. If you go in one direction you appear to be in a not so nice area, however the murals are something to see.

Yelp
Three night stay booked. Great room when I arrived. Clean. Bright. Spacious but no service all day long. No phone in the room to call reception. Had to go downstairs to ask to have my room cleaned at 5:36 p.m. No customer service. One person on staff. Common areas not clean. Weird vibes.

Yelp
On our most recent visit to Austin, we stayed at the ARRIVE Austin, and we really enjoyed the hotel. We went for a 3 night stay, that ended up being a 4 night because of a cancelled flight. We opted for the 'kinda suite' and this room was well worth the small price upgrade over a standard room because it was huge! The dining room area and tv was a nice separate spot to eat n chill. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was one of the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room. The walk in shower was unnecessarily large, it really could use a second shower head. The bath tub was huge as well. While there's a couple restaurants and cafes attached to this boutique hotel, they didn't have a vending machine or place to buy water bottles. The only sold sparkling water. We ended drinking the $8 glass bottle in the mini bar. It was freezing out, so we ended up getting beverages delivered from an app. The location itself was great. Very walkable to many restaurants and bars, and if you didn't feel like walking a short 5 minute ride share to downtown Austin. We enjoy walking, so getting to different places was a breeze. The staff here was super nice and they give a single complimentary drink coupon when you check-in. Overall, really enjoyed this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I ever visit Austin

Yelp
We stayed at ARRIVE for two nights earlier this month, and I can't recommend it. What I did like: The room was nice (very cool, minimalist, and modern). The location worked for us (we were able to walk to brunch and dinner at places we had reservations to meet friends at). The building itself was cool. But see below for why I wasn't impressed (style over substance/comfort for sure). What I didn't like: (1) The noise. Yes, I think some noise is to be expected in this location. You might even be staying here because of the proximity to bars. But the building is not soundproofed well at all, and we heard noise until 2am from some place nearby that had a DJ. I had to use a white noise app on my phone to be able to get any sleep. (2) The party vibes gone bad. I think their clientele likely leans really young. I'm young-ish, but I'm old enough that I don't want to stay in a hotel with disrespectful and very drunk guests. There was vomit in the elevator bank when we returned from a morning walk on Saturday morning. I let the staff know by text ASAP but it was still there when we went back out 20-30 minutes later (maybe even longer), so I texted again (and "FYI it's still there) which they didn't reply to. It was gone when we returned after brunch. (3) The customer service wasn't great. When we returned from a dinner with friends on our last night, we drove up to valet but there wasn't anyone there. When we went inside, we learned that the hotel staff working at the front desk had left his car in the valet pull up, which blocked the valet staff from being able to park anyone else's car. Once he figured out where his car could be parked, it was moved and we could valet and go upstairs, but it was weird and he didn't apologize for the inconvenience or anything. Just weird (wonder if staff often park in the valet spot at night but it rarely interferes with anyone parking?). (We didn't have any other issues with staff when we were there, but there wasn't always a staff person at the front desk, so we didn't have as much interaction with them as we might have had at another hotel.) (4) Way too expensive given everything above. Our subtotal for two nights was a little over $800 (and that doesn't include the parking/valet fees). I've had much better experiences at hotels that are way more affordable than this. I definitely wish I had chosen to stay elsewhere - especially for how much we paid. Cannot recommend and definitely wouldn't stay again.

Yelp
BIG SHOUTOUT to SHANNTEL! She's the best bartender in Austin! Her service is exceptional--fast, delicious, and beautiful cocktails. I highly recommend visiting her. The ambiance is very chill--perfect for conversations, work, or a night out with your girls! #FIVESTARS

Yelp
I highly recommend staying in Arrive if you're coming to Austin. It's clean and beautiful plus they have great spacious rooms. The staff was nice and helped with any questions I had. I love that there is a coffee shop right next door and was able to get my coffee before starting our day as well as other places around the area to eat. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Austin but I will also be staying at other ARRIVE locations they have as I love their vibe. Valet is $30 a night but there is parking available in the neighborhood if you want to save money, just a friendly tip.

Batel O.

Yelp
Gorgeous clean hotel, amazing bed and pillows, the staff is super sweet and accommodating. Not sure how you could find anything negative to say about this place.

Nhi V.

Yelp
Very modern, clean, and chic, but with downsides. We are only staying one night and I was looking for a hotel that is not run down, clean, and with basic amenities. Arrive had all of them. I love the design of the room - so neat and chic. There was even a Marshall speaker to use while getting ready. The bathroom was also very clean which was a plus. However, the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear your neighbors talking and moving around. Second, nothing in the mini bar is free - not even the water - so you will have to ask for a "cup" of water from the front desk or bring in your own. Finally, valet was a steep $38 a day. Overall, for one night it is not bad, but these issues have to be looked into if they want guests to stay longer.

Diana G.

Yelp
Pros: Great location Friendly staff Good communication Nice rooms Cons: Parking fee Loved this place. Check in was easy. Even before I arrived, I received a text asking for my ETA. We found the place easy. The valet took our car and we went to check in. While waiting for our room, they have us complimentary drinks. The room: Spacious. Clean. The room has a very Austin vibe. I loved the old school appliances. The fridge is super cute. The bed was comfy. Kind of small to share with another friend, but comfy enough. The room has a nice seating area with a table. The bathroom is big. Toiletries included shampoo, conditions, body wash, lotion. Instead of an iron, they have a steamer. Parking: available on site, but there's a charge. I think all the hotels in that area will be the same. The hotel is located super close to 6th street and venues like the paramount theater. It's about a 15 min walk to the heart of 6th street. You can find restaurants as soon as you walk out of the hotel, aside from the one in the hotel. There's also a brewery 2 min walk away.

Yelp
Shanntel our bartender was really good, the drinks were incredible. Our stay was good as well. 100% recommended.

Shawn L.

Yelp
What a cool place to stay. The cement structure makes for a super rad vibe, but more importantly a great quite sleep. Valet runs $30 a night and they are super friendly. The front staff was super helpful with a cool bar and lounge area right at registration. Cool decor, very comfy bed and clean room. We will for sure stay here again.

Chase K.

Yelp
I can't imagine why this hotel thinks it's a good idea to blast their occupants out with loud music outside the windows of the rooms. All you hear in this hotel is loud music from the multiple bars below; even when it's dead empty and all the way to midnight. Some of us have to work and I will not be staying here again. Haven't been able to sleep a wink.

Elena P.

Yelp
Location is great but!!!! if you planning on wanting to sleep at any point of your stay then dont stay in this hotel... its right in the heart of party town, the bar downstairs blasting music day and night and even after working hours for a very long time... hotel is not set up for a night sleep, they dont care that they didnt not use sound proof materials, the only thing that is separating you from street noise is a thin window and nothing else, they dont provide white noise machine as many hotels in loud environment do. When we checked in we asked for a quite room the staff assured us that he is giving us the quite room but it was the one facing the street and of course we got 200% of all the noises We complained and asked about switching rooms and were told that nothing is available at that moment but they can do that later.... it never happened We stayed 3 nights and slept maybe 25 min all together in all those 3 nights Rooms are cute, new trendy style but the fridge was full of opened bottles and cans left from previous guest ... not sure why it was not removed and cleaned out, hotel doesnt provide any complimentary water at all, there is no gym, no lobby, no parking (they only offer valet parking and thats about $41 a night, they bring it out when you request but it s ... kinda annoying like you pay 40 bucks a day plus you have to tip every single time? The pillows in rooms were horrible, like someone took a bunch of old washed towels and stuffed with them a pillow case... it was not good, also they give you a blanket and two sheets that blanket goes in between two sheets, obviously those sheets dont stay in one places so basically everyone's butt is sleeping on that blanket and who knows how many times they wash those blankets if they wash them at all. The hair conditioner bottle that was provided in a shower was empty when we checked in... they cleaned the room the next morning but never refilled that bottle... One of the pillow cases had a blood stain not sure why... The tv stopped working we informed the staff they said sorry its been going on issue and maybe we can try to send someone tomorrow to fix it... they never even followed up about this... on our last night we completely lots hope for any sleep the bar next door blasted music even after they closed (before they closed they had 2 customers)... we had to go at 2 30am to the bar to ask them to turn the music off we complained about the fact that we never got moved even tho we saw people checking in and out all he time they said fine come down with all the belongings and bring your key we will give you another room... that was 2 30 am on our last night stay about 2.5 hours before our wake up call to get to airport... thanks !!! too freaking late when we came down to check out... staff that was working there got up we said we checking out... he clicked on his computer... than something started buzzing in the corner... he just walked away without saying a word... like "hey sorry I would be back in a sec" nothing... we stood there not sure if we done or if we should wait.. then he returned without saying a word... clicked a few more times on his computer and said "you all set" nothing about "thanks for staying with us... have a safe trip home"... nothing obviously I would not be recommending this hotel to anyone and would never ever stay there myself ever again overpriced pretentious mistreat

Yelp
I had a really great experience at ARRIVE. I was put in one of the corner rooms, and it was so lovely and roomy. Definitely one of my favorite hotels in Austin, and I enjoyed all the amenities too (blasted the speaker in the room and sat in the booth). I wish there was free parking, but I understand why given the location of the hotel. I would visit and stay again!

Yelp
Hip & groovy hotel in the heart of hip & groovy East Austin, this newish property has all the fixing to make your stay hip & groovy! PROS: Stylish: clean & minimalist with accents to give it distinct modern character Location: right on the corner of hip & groovy, with most things walkable or hop on a scooter...jump on the nearby light rail to head downtown Bath products: high end amenities to get your butt squeaky clean & looking good Free beer: yup, local booze in your hand upon check-in...nuff said! Marshall Stack: rad bluetooth speaker, so you can rawk out with yer cocker spaniel out Bed: delicious bedding Room Layout: little nook, great for working or lounging Shower: roomy & decent water pressure Mini Bar: stocked oh so nicely Front Desk: text communications make it so you don't even have to leave your room for whatever & ever Bars: on property bars make your room stumbling distance In-room safe: safety first! CONS: Apple TV: not great, some key channels missing Noise: if you're facing E6th St you might encounter noise from nearby bars even though the windows are double pane Water kettle: c'mon yo, I need my lovely cup o' tea in the morning Love this place, most definitely will be back!

Yelp
This was such a great stay that was recommend by a friend of ours. We were coming to Austin for a quick weekend and wanted to bring our pup. Arrive was perfectly pup friendly! And that was just the cherry on top!! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and I loved the lofty feel! The front desk associates were all super friendly and wonderful. They even greet you when you first arrive with a drink choice that they offer. It's attached to a gorgeous bar on the ground floor but I think I remember them saying they have another bar and patio area on the second floor. There's also a coffee shop on the first floor too! You can't beat the location! In walking distance to breweries, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, little grocery store... I mean it's perfect! There's no reason we would stay anywhere else when we come back to Austin!

Steven M.

Yelp
We can not speak more highly of our experience at ARRIVE Austin. From our check-in with Preston at the front desk to saying goodbye on our last day, he and the rest of the staff made it a great experience. Preston and the rest of the staff alone made the experience great, but the property itself was beyond expectations. Loved every part of our room, and we've never slept better in a hotel than we did at ARRIVE. Thank you again!!!

Giulia B.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. The staff is very helpful and very nice. They also have a 24/7 text service which is amazing and they will reply right away to all your questions. Highly recommended!!!!

Darrell D.

Yelp
My wife and I loved this hotel instantly upon arrival. We loved it even more when we realized we were on the top floor, and we were placed in the corner room over looking 6th St. The atmosphere of the hotel is so different (vintage) and welcoming. When you check in you are offered one of the six drinks on the checkin counter. It is awesome that they are using technology, instead of calling for room service, you can simply text the front desk with your needs. We will definitely stay her again, without a question.

Ale G.

Yelp
AMAZING! Had trouble checking in, luckily the staff is amazing. Beautiful, clean & comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again. The rooms are decorated very nice. 5 stars!!

Natalise K.

Yelp
ARRIVE is a cute hotel and if ever have to be in this part of town in the future, I'd consider it. Pros: 1) clean, modern rooms, 2) good location, 3) personable staff. Bonus: we arrived earlier than check-in time and they were able to secure a room, which was really nice. Cons: 1) there's no coffee in the rooms and no room service, 2) room cleaning appointments are by request and not reliable. Even though I requested within a certain window, the crew came an hour and a half late, which I couldn't accommodate. When I asked for them to come back in an hour, they said ok and then never showed up. :/

Nick K.

Yelp
There is NO COFFEE! No cofffee in lobby! Seriously no coffee! Even a cheap hotel has coffee. Was clean. Was nice. But how is there no coffee

Michael I.

Yelp
Worst experience I've ever had trying to change my reservation. I went through Expedia who will normally tell you a reservation is non refundable, however this was not and I was not sure I would make it in time for my first day. Upon arrival they refused to change my reservation and I was charged the full amount for just hours of the remaining day. Well this made me upset and I told them to cancel the reservation, which they said they did, however they still charged me the full amount of the entire stay and I was still not provided keys or a room leaving me stranded. Beware these guys are trying to scam you.

LaToya L.

Yelp
f I could rate this hotel at 10 I would. This is true Southern Charm in the heart of Austin. From the cool vibes from Eloys and Joey at the front desk to the valet service from Romel and Jacob. I was even able to speak with the Food and Beverage manager who shared his story for my new book "Setback To Set Up". They will make you feel like a ROCKSTAR from start to finish. I was even able to speak with the hospitality cleaning crew and they take great pride in keeping this location very clean and tidy. It was like we had our own little artist loft. The beautiful wallpaper, bright colors, and Bluetooth speaker in the rooms kept the true vibe of the Music Capitol. The shower and bath products were amazing. The beds were beyond comfortable with the crisp white linen sheets, large open windows, and cozy rugs and furniture. Even my 11 year old daughter enjoyed our stay. She kept saying how she felt like we were in NYC or LA. The best part of everything, because I have stayed in a lot of hotels, was the Southern Hospitality. A lot of corporate companies forget about those values, but you cannot really review a company without seeing how they treat their staff. All of the employees that I spoke with had been working for the company for at least a year and where happy. They took pride in being of service and that speaks measure to the management. It gave me the feeling of family with the boutique qualities that I would look forward to when returning for a visit. This will be my go to location when coming to Austin. I was in town as a Keynote Speaker for Crop Conference and spent 3 nights at this location. It is a great area with food, bars, shops all within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Ellsie S.

Yelp
Cutest minimalist spot, super clean, see through glass shower; we love Austin! Nice mini getaway from Arlington, TX - Will stay here again. Downstairs they have the cutest spot too. Price was reasonable. Thanks for our nice stay here!

Layni L.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay and reiterate the pros and cons of the many 5-star reviews here. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms had great attention to detail and design, location is 10/10 with places like via 313 and a great coffee shop next door, and we truly miss staying here. My only complaint: the rooftop gin bar was closed when we got there (covid-related perhaps, not sure why?) and I really do like to have a gym or fitness center at hotels of this caliber, but understand arrive has other great pros to outweigh the lack of community amenities! Definitely recommend if you're visiting Austin or need a staycation!

Cassandra W.

Yelp
This review is for their website. I tried to book a reservation but their website doesn't work on mobile. When I try to select the dates, I'm not able to adjust the end date because the menu is off the bottom of the screen... Seems like a huge oversight by the company and while it may only seem like a minor inconvenience it's really frustrating to not be able to arrange my trip without calling them a bunch because I need to find out which dates work with them and my guests. I feel it doesn't bode well to have a hotel overlook such a basic part of their guest's experience, hence the feedback.

Jordan S.

Yelp
ARRIVE Austin blew me away with their exceptional staff and nice hotel. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and friendly. The hotel room itself was nice, but the reason I'm leaving a review is because of the staff. Marti and Shaun helped me to get my truck started after experiencing some issues. Shaun from the valet service let me borrow his jumper cables and Marti was nice enough to drive her car around and give me a jump. As you can imagine it was quite a frustrating scenario to have your car not start as you are checking out of a hotel in a city 2.5 hours from home, but their generosity was something I won't forget! Definitely will be looking into ARRIVE when I come back to Austin.

Adam C.

Yelp
ARRIVE Austin is the best place to stay just outside of downtown! The location of the hotel encourages you to explore parts of Austin that you won't get staying downtown. The locals, city life, and the best people in Austin are in this area! It was so much fun staying at this hotel and our front desk attendant Marty was literally the coolest person ever. She gave us the best recommendations when we needed them and gave us such a happy and warm welcome when we chatted with her! We even ended up staying for a bit talking with her because she was so fun! Marty - you're the best and we love you Management- we think Marty is the best and we love her. This hotel is a fun electric scooter ride, very quick Uber ride , or an very do-able adventurous walk away! it's the perfect location for anyone looking to get a feel for what Austin is all about! Not to mention the great bars and vibes directly across the street from the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to our next stay at ARRIVE Austin! Hopefully we get to see Marty :)

Natalie R.

Yelp
The valet person wasn't there when we first drove up, but we drove around the block and he was there when we drove back through. The guy who greeted us at the bar (where you check in) was very friendly and offered us a free drink of a few choices. The hotel seemed very clean and new/modern. They require masks. The room was really nice. Every time we go to a hotel, we're afraid the bed and/or pillows will be uncomfortable, but it was perfect, so comfy. I slept like a baby even though I was worried I wouldn't because of all the music from the bars around the hotel. But it was fine, the A/C drowned out the noise. The housekeeping doesn't come automatically, but the hotel sent us a text saying we could text them if we wanted someone to service our room. We scheduled it for a specific time within 15 minutes and they said no problem. Oh, and the shower is huge! We didn't try the restaurant, bars, or coffee shop connected to the hotel, but there were excellent restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. My only complaint is that the Apple TV didn't work so we just used my husband's laptop to watch shows, instead of having someone come in our room.

Melody T.

Yelp
Wow wow wow. Love this hotel and the staff. They went above and beyond. I will stay here every time! Comfy beds. Quiet and clean. Love it. Great little cafe and bar. I could live here!

Shyenne M.

Yelp
We came to Austin for the weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was located in a very up and coming area with any type of food, drinks, breweries, and live music that you could want within walking (or scootering) distance, there's scooters and bikes all around to rent! There's also a bar and a coffee shop on site. It's also VERY dog friendly, and NO PET FEES!! Which was a huge plus for us as we travel with our dogs. The area itself was also very dog friendly and almost everywhere we went we could bring our dogs, and so did so many other people. LOVE! The rooms were very clean. Cement floors, huge, gorgeous bathroom and shower, comfy king size bed with very nice linens, refrigerator, booth with table, and an Apple TV so we were able to log into and watch Netflix while we relaxed. They also had the biggest, softest bath towels I've seen in a hotel. They valet park your car for $18, which was actually very nice to have, and we didn't need our car to get around anywhere so it was nice knowing it was in a safe location. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Yelp
Music was blaring into my room. I had a very bad migraine. Very bad experience overall. Manager of hotel was extremely unapologetic and unhelpful. I do not recommend this hotel.

Yelp
We were told that the ARRIVE hotel would be the BEST experience ever! NOT! While the hotel itself is decent, the customer service is horrific. We brought a group of 50 people to the hotel and it took them almost a week to provide us with the final bill. They made various errors on our bill, and were unable to explain what occurred. We finally managed to reach the general manager, Marc Grotelueschen. We explained what was promised, and how they had not adhered to anything they promised. Marc told us he would take care of it, and remove some of the charges from our bill. Well that did NOT occur! As a matter of fact, after his initial response we couldn't even get Marc to respond to us! I actually like Austin, but I will NEVER do business with ARRIVE again. Customer service is critical to any and every experience, and they failed in this experience.

Yelp
Stayed at ARRIVE for a quick weekend getaway. The things I liked about this hotel: 1. in a hip(ster) area of Austin across from Whisler's and walking distance to a number of breweries, bars and eateries 2. well appointed rooms (read hipster) with cement floors, bohemian rugs, leather chairs and cool dinette and retro music speaker, nice linens and soaps, and fun reading material 3. It's a new hotel so no issues with mold, cracks, or peeling 4. Giant shower and overall spacious rooms 5. Welcome drinks and snack was nice touch 6. Onsite restaurant was great Things I didn't like so much: 1. My wife and I were given a room on the third floor overlooking the main street and Whisler's so we could hear all the sounds from Whisler's till about 2:30am and then some heavy car traffic other times at night. Luckily we were out late while visiting so it wasn't a big deal but I can imagine this situation being really irritating for others 2. No one came from housekeeping to take care of our room 3. Service at the on-site gin bar wasn't great. Drinks were fine though. Alone the things I didn't like wouldn't have been a big deal but, all together, I have to dock a star. Other notes: The texting concierge was fine, definitely caters to younger travelers. It would be great if the hotel could offer slippers for the rooms because those concrete floors can get cold. Overall, I would come back but get a different room.

Yelp
The only reason I'm knocking off a star is for their silly decision to not build a pool in TEXAS! It was a 100+ weekend. Excellent customer service- love the text concierge. Had to change rooms because we oddly got a room with zero window coverings. Be sure to ask for a room with sun blockers! Location is bomb- we barely left a two block radius the entire weekend. Gin bar at hotel was super nice once the sun goes down. Lefty's has great tiki cocktails (get the Zombie). Vixen's Wedding was so good we ate their both nights - check out my review for food details. Comfortable bed, $18 valet (free street parking but I wouldn't risk it in the area, even nowadays), Apple TV, great staff, welcome beer, coffee joint right downstairs. We will be coming back for another staycation very soon! (When the weather cools off)

Yelp
What a cute, super hipster hotel! This hotel is located in East Austin. A bit of a walk to downtown but not impossible. With scooters, ubers, and walking, you can find yourself in downtown in no time. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff is friendly (for the most part). I loved the rooms, the decor, and the welcome drink/snack (beer was better than the rose). The robes were a hit with my husband (they make you look like you are an Ewok). The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there are some awesome books they leave on your bedside table. If you need anything, you text the front desk. The hotel definitely caters to a younger crowd-I'm not so sure my dad would appreciate the texting feature. I give this hotel four instead of five stars for two reasons 1. The room we had was on the third floor facing a bar, and it was SUPER loud. We could hear everything. Not so bothersome to us because we stayed up late but I can see how it can or may affect other guests. 2. The bar on the second floor. The service was horrid and the larger of the two bartenders was just out right rude. He may have been trying to be sarcastic but it came off super rude. I have to say though the drinks were great!! Overall, I would come back and stay here again and I would recommend it to others as well!

Yelp
I arrived at the hotel around check-in time and the staff who greeted my family were very nice. Unfortunately, the rating can't be higher because of the experience with the one of the hotel staff (Marc Grotelueschen). Our hotel room was uncleaned, it had food and garbage spread around - the bed was stripped down and the sheets & blankets were all over the place. It's not somewhere I want my children being exposed to. It smelled horrible and it was just unacceptable. We went back to the front desk and explained that our room had not been cleaned and requested another one. Marc said that we are unable to change rooms at this time and that the room had been cleaned (per their records) - he was not very open to believing us when I explained what happened - even my wife was in shock that he was so difficult to speak with. When I asked the Marc to come up to the room for himself, he became very defensive and even said he did not believe us and we were just trying to get a better room or get something for free. We are not the richest looking people, in fact some of our clothing had some paint on it - we work very hard at home and had a long trip to Austin to visit family members in the area who paid for us to be in the hotel. We do not look homeless or anything, but it's still sad to be treated like a degenerate. We talked to the front desk staff and they were unsure what to do because their manager told them not to help us and that our room was final. I had to track down one of the cleaning staff to tidy up the room. It looked like someone partied in the room and some things were even broken. After the room was cleaned, we received a $900 charge on our credit card for things the cleaning staff found broken in the room, supposedly for a TV, bed and cracks in the bathroom mirrors, the shower head was. This money was supposed to be used for my car and mortgage payment. We have no way to get the money back because the room was in our possession at the time of their discovery. I think this company is not only discriminative but I would not be surprised if black people were treated with the same lack of respect. If you decide to go there, wear nice clothes and try not to bring children. Take pictures of the room or have someone escort you there.

Yelp
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay overall. When we walked in we were greeted by a gentleman at the bar who checked us in and offered us complimentary refreshments. Four stars for good location, friendly staff, clean room and being able to text to check in/out and text communication with front desk. free wi-fi and Bluetooth speaker in the room. Arrive is still new, I'm sure they will figure out all the small details going forward. For now one thing to watch out for is the door, my door didn't automatically lock when closing on the way out like it was suppose to. I'm glad I caught this before leaving. This was a little annoying only because we were hungry and wanted to go get food but couldn't leave our room unlocked. Text response time could be better. After getting no response about my door, I had to run down to the desk to get help. Later on we tried to watch tv but realized that they didn't put a remote in our room. I didn't want to be charged 60$ for a missing remote so one text later, one was brought up, but it didn't work. I didn't feel like texting the staff anymore at this point, I just used my laptop. *** Parking needs to be made apparent on the website that it is $18/night valet only.

Yelp
This hotel was an excellent choice during CVD for me, my fiancé, and our pup. The front desk staff was ultra friendly, so much so that we got an email afterwards from one of them with updates and photos on his new puppy! It feels like you're making friends in a new city, and for that, I'll always stay at ARRIVE when we visit Austin.

Yelp
Favorite place I've stayed in Austin! Amazing location and even more amazing staff. The restaurant attached is KILLER. Should be a Michelin rate restaurant it's so good. The cocktails are delicious too. Everyone from the staff at the front desk, to the restaurant employees to the very clean and properly equipped room is all the reason to stay here. I had such a great time my first stay I came back 3 months later and chose to stay the same place!!

Yelp
We just stayed here last night and it was amazing! Supper clean and quiet. Very contemporary hotel with very nice amenities. We will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Very trendy upbeat hotel with pretty design. We were so happy until we went to bed. The non-breathable pillow protectors were inflated like a beach ball, and we're about as comfortable as a beach ball to sleep on. The plastic mattress protectors were worse because the whole bed heated up and I had to sleep in a puddle of sweat. I called the office the next morning and explained we're in hospitality business and breathable but water resistant protectors are what everyone else is using, and could you please help me because I can't sleep. They said they had no alternatives. That is not hospitality.

Yelp
No tea or coffee to have as you get ready. No ironing board, only one in the entire hotel. They have a steamer but nowhere to hang your clothes to do the steaming. Can't adjust the temp.

Yelp
First of all, the entire staff was extremely nice, friendly, and tried their best to be helpful. I even got a nice early check in when my plane got in at 11. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was clean. What you need to know. No pool. No gym. No lobby. No COFFEE. Also my AC never got below 74 and apparently this was how the whole hotel is "can't keep up with the heat". This is Texas. The AC needs to work. (The nice night clerk brought me a fan) I could've dealt with that if I could've had a cup of coffee after a warm nights not-so-good sleep. There wasn't even coffee in the "lobby" which is actually the downstairs restaurant. The location is fair. Pretty far down on the east end. A lot of walking to get to where the action is but that means fairly quiet too. Also I had a staff member walk into my room the first day after my early check in. And two people knock on my door before check out on my last day. Annoying and unorganized. Overall I would definitely not recommend a stay here. For the price, and zero amenities it is absolutely not worth it.

Yelp
This was a very cool, nice, hip, and clean stay. The design and architecture of the building is awesome. Very cool and crisp finishes in the rooms. It's the best hotel in the area. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for something in Austin. Tons of great restaurants and bars right out the front door of the hotel to walk to. I will be back the next time I am in Austin for business.

Yelp
Phenomenal hotel to escape to after a long week! We went for the corner room with balcony. It was a beautiful room! Check in and out was a breeze! Awesome Apple TV in the room. The coffee shop next door comes in handy. I will definitely be staying here when travel to Austin!
