The Guide to Waterfront Dining in Boston

"If you’re into views of the Boston skyline, contemporary art, and locally sourced ingredients, Cambridge’s ArtBar might be for you. Grab some brioche French toast brunch while gawking at the restaurant’s art collection, or head out to the patio for those Charles River views. And if you’re still looking for something to do afterwards, the Museum of Science is right around the corner." - Terrence Doyle

We had an early dinner here and experienced some of the slowest & worst service possible for it being so empty in there. They forgot orders, served us warm tap water & kept us waiting for 10+ minutes for simple things like ranch dressing. It took over 10 minutes to get cocktails and they would bring one drink over at a time. We looked over to the bar and noticed that the bartender? Would take a picture of every single drink he was making causing a longer wait time for us. The food was good once it arrived but not worth the experience we had. We spent over 2 hours there for absolutely no reason. Sat around waiting more than actually enjoying ourselves. I would not go back and do not recommend. Also there was left over plates and trash on the table next to us.

Google
Celebrated our friend’s birthday at ArtBar’s igloo dining, and the setup was beautiful and cozy. This private group space added to the special feel of the night. The food was standard American, burgers, salmon, fries, nothing memorable, but the experience was the priority, and it delivered. Our server was outstanding!! courteous, friendly, and truly great at his job. While I wouldn’t return for the food, I might go back for the ambiance and service.

Google
Love this outdoor spot on the Charles River. Incredible skyline view of Boston!!! Best named bar for a Boston accent!🤣 You can order a drink inside to take to the outdoor area....door to the right...or sit inside or outside to dine....area to the left. Great place to just sit if you need a break from the city, have a walk along the river.

Google
We had a good time here, sitting for a nice dinner with colleagues outside on Art Bar terrace enjoying the view in Charles River and Boston skyline. Service, drinks and food were good. A bigger problem with sitting outside though are the birds who are sitting on the ceiling elements literally above you. It is not very pleasant when they „digest“ on you - happened twice and that limited the experience as we were getting a bit stressed checking if any birds were sitting above us.

Google
I’m allergic to dairy & soy and they were very accommodating. I had a delicious salad with grilled chicken, which they made in a separate clean pan. I’m definitely eating here every day during my stay at the hotel!

Google
Awesome place for diner or lunch in Boston. Located in the royal Sonesta. There's really nice art and the service is friendly and the waitresses are attentive. The short rib was amazing and my mom loved her burger. It was thick and came with plenty of fries and was perfectly cooked. The chefs care about the presentation. I'd eat here again the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
I had a delicious breakfast here. As a matter of fact I'd walked by it and wasn't sure, as a lot of hotel restaurants are just kinda there by default, but this place could've been its own stand alone spot and I would've come here. I recently had the pleasure of traveling and ended up enjoying breakfast at Artbar, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and I must say it was an experience worth writing about. From the moment I stepped in, the service was nothing short of fantastic. As I indulged in their delectable breakfast dishes, I found myself immersed in the tranquil morning ambiance of Boston. The added joy of solving a crossword puzzle while savoring each bite only enhanced the experience. Something about problem solving and waffles that ties it all together. Speaking of the dishes, each one surpassed the last in terms of flavor and presentation, all while being reasonably priced. And let's not forget about the coffee - it was constantly refilled, ensuring that my morning started on the perfect note. I was told it was Colombian and let's face it, the answer was yes right away. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend giving Artbar a try. Whether you opt for dining in or enjoying the convenience of room service, you're in for a treat old sport

Yelp
The vibe of this place is very nice as it looks over the charles river. The drinks were pretty good, I got the espresso martini and it was not too strong and pretty sweet. The service was good, there was not a wait time and they also have heat lamps for outdoor seating so it was warm even around 9pm. The food was decent, I would go here for the vibes and drinks!

Yelp
I wish I could remember my servers name because she was so delightful and pleasant. I was overwhelmed with the salad because I have never in my life seen a cesará salad with whole anchovies. I don't mind knowing they come in the dressing but I was taken back with whole ones just not to my liking: The crispy wings and the lamb burger was the highlight of the meal, I would order those again. The fish in the taco was cooked good, BUT I wouldn't get these again the coleslaw was a bit much for me on my taco. Sometimes to much is to much, if that makes sense.

Yelp
Better than expected for a hotel restaurant. The art bar salad was pretty good, especially with the peanuts and blackberries. Sweet potato tots were good too! If in the Royal Sonesta again and needed a late dinner, I'd come here again.

Yelp
Cute cafe inside of the hotel The Royal Sonesta Boston in Cambridge, MA. Came with some coworkers for brunch prior to our flight home. I got the pumpkin spice French toast which was absolutely flavorful and delicious. The cinnamon butter added something extra to the dish. The potatoes were actually very crispy and tasty and the bacon, as always, is delicious as an add-on. Our server was sweet and we got served quickly which was nice. The ambiance is eclectic and chic. The hotel staff was just wonderful and even if you're not a hotel guest and eating at the restaurant they are very accommodating and pleasant.

Yelp
Do you enjoy roving packs of uncontrolled children? Overcooked medium burgers masquerading as medium rare? A cider selection of "down east, and nothing else"? This is the place for you! Anyone else, steer clear.

Yelp
The restaurant's indoor and outdoor seating options were lovely for our book club to host a cute brunch. It easily accommodated our large group. The experience overall was okay. Our servers were a bit inattentive to our needs. Furthermore, the food was alright, but I thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality we received.

Yelp
Delicious food but a super long wait. I was staying in the royal sonesta, which is where the restaurant is located, for a work trip and decided to order here on the first night since I got in late on Sunday. I placed my pickup order via phone around 7:45 pm on Sunday night and it wasn't ready for pickup for almost an hour. I was a bit surprised to see that the restaurant was basically empty when I went down to pick up my food based on the wait time. Even with the wait time though the food was delicious. The crab cakes were perfectly crispy and very thick and the cold lobster roll was packed with lobster. The sweet potato tots from here are also the best sweet potato tots I've ever had so I will definitely eat here again.

Yelp
I had an incredible experience dining at Artbar in Cambridge and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch meal in town. From start to finish, the service was outstanding, with an extremely attentive staff that went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was expertly prepared, and we were blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. Even the water was exceptional - it tasted so fresh and clean that we couldn't believe it was just regular water! What impressed me the most about Artbar was the fact that it's located in a hotel - you don't always expect to find some of the best meals in town in a hotel restaurant, but in this case, it was absolutely true. And that is not a knock on everything else we ate in town but it simply stood out. The chefs clearly take pride in their work and are passionate about their meals. I had 3 meals here with my father. The lobster eggs benedict was his favorite while the Artbar burger with onion rings was mine. But honorable mentions go to the avocado toast and the crab cake with salad. Very good sauce.

Yelp
Such a cute hotel bar with very cool drinks! They had very cool glasses and some unique garnishes that make this bar a must go! The service was a little slow and it was hard to get our waitress's attention at times, but the food came out fast and was delicious! The menu is quite small, but they had a good portion of gluten free items for a menu that size!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was very good and not ridiculously priced. I took myself here for my birthday while staying at the Royal sonesta. The location and being right by the Charles River at night was beautiful.

Yelp
My wife and I went down to Cambridge for my nephew's wedding & stayed at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel. I checked on Yelp for nearby restaurants and thought this place was worth trying, The atmosphere is casual and upscale. The bartender was prompt & pleasant to talk to. I got a Bullet Bourbon Manhattan while my wife got a Grey Goose Cosmo, both very good. For an appetizer, we shared some chicken wings...two thumbs up. Only our 1st time, but we definitely enjoyed ourselves and do recommend it for drinks & appetizers. We also saw some burgers go by to other customers and thought they looked pretty good. Enjoy!

Yelp
After an hour waiting for our food, we decided to leave. The waiter never informed us of any expected delay. The hummus app isn't worth the money. Lots of families staying at the hotel eat here, so there's screaming children. The staff looked miserable. Maybe someone should check in on their mental health.

Yelp
Absolutely not. This place was absolutely awful honestly - if I could give it 0 stars I would. From the beginning the hostess was everywhere but her stand so it took forever to get seated. Then once we were seated we were left, brought water after waiting a while and then our waitress never returned even to take our order. After waiting about 25 mins with no waitress in sight we left. We decided to give it another try later but this time just for a to go order and the service was equally as bad. We waited more than an hour for the food to either come to our room or for them to call us to pick it up to no avail so finally I called to be told that it was "just coming out". When I went downstairs to pick it up I had to wait another 10 mins for them to run around and try to package everything up because it still wasn't ready. To top it all off when I finally arrived to our room to eat the food had clearly been sitting out - the chicken was soggy and the food was just barely warm - and the egg I ordered was basically fully raw. Absolutely awful and expensive for no reason. Don't go here, especially if you're hungry.

Yelp
I found this place on a whim after exploring the riverside walk along East Cambridge. From the external view, this place looked fairly decent and classy. They have plenty of outdoor dining and the location is great. From where we were sitting, there was a great view of the river, the boats and downtown Boston. The greenery nearby was also very nice. The staff was kind and attentive and very prompt and efficient. We only ordered the BBQ brisket flatbread and the Hummus. Both were decent so no complaints. We didn't order any entrees so I can't really comment on that. The disappointment comes from the drinks. Both the alcoholic AND the non-alcoholic cock(mock)tails could be described as "weak". There was almost no alcohol in the cocktail and even the mocktail was...not very flavorful. The prices were really high for cocktails. really 16 -20 dollars just to do a little shake? Outrageous. The price on the other stuff on the menu seemed reasonable. I'd probably return anyway just because of the location. But I am more weary of the issues now

Yelp
I don't know why there are so few restaurants in Boston and Cambridge that have river views (well... It could have something to do with the fact that Harvard, MIT, and BU own so much riverfront property). In any case, we had walked by the Sonesta's ArtBar and thought the we needed to dine there. We FINALLY got our act together and had dinner there. We ordered the flatbread appetizer (very tasty and much bigger than we expected), the calamari appetizer (perhaps the best calamari we've ever had), and the butternut squash soup (good, but not life-changing). The service was perfect. We sat outdoors on their patio, which they kept open due to the unseasonably warm weather. Yes, we'll be back!

Yelp
The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I went here for brunch and got the chicken and waffles. It was delicious!! The perfect salty and sweet combo.

Yelp
My husband and I came here twice during our stay and we couldn't believe how great a hotel bar could be! First night we had drinks, the menu had unique options for everyone, I am not a huge drinker because I don't usually enjoy the "taste" of alcohol but tried the Lavender Drop and it was incredible! I ordered 3 and that is considered a lot for me. We went back the next day for dinner since the weather wasn't great outside and ordered the chicken wings and both got the ArtBar Burger both were FANTASTIC. Wings were perfectly coated in sauce while still being crispy as well as super juicy and the lime on the side heightened and complimented the sweet and spicy flavors. Our burgers were thick and cooked to our preference, bacon had both crispy and fatty parts and there was a nice cheese pull for people who are into that again this place was impressive for being in a hotel. We had no wait times either night and our waiters were both so nice and helpful with the menu's. Will definitely be coming back here next time we stay at the Royal Sonesta!

Yelp
I came here with a small group for brunch on a Sunday morning. It was in January so no opportunity to sit outside. We had a little trouble finding it within the hotel. If you come in the main hotel front entrance, ArtBar is to the left. One thing that wasn't clear until we sat down is the brunch menu is not available until 11am, before that it's only the breakfast menu. Thankfully our reservation was close to 11. The food was good. I ordered the banana foster french toast yet didn't taste very french toasty. Not much egg in it. The praline in it was too hard and crunchy, like hard candy. The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and checked in with us more than once to see if we needed anything. Our food came out promptly. I liked the atmosphere with the artwork decorating the walls. It's in a convenient location along the Charles River and across the street from the CambridgeSide Galleria garage, where we parked.

Yelp
We had reservations for 10. It's inside the Royal sonesta hotel. Nice view of the harbor. We got sat in the corner away from the fans so it was hooooottt! Food was delicious. I had the coco mule, the scallops with pasta. My mom had the skirt steak (it was supposed to be medium rare but came out medium), Dad had the salmon with tajin, husband had the burger and daughter had the kids meal: goldfish crackers (or fruits) , butter pasta, and ice cream sandwich. Service was good.

Yelp
My family and I had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at ArtBar this year. They had recently setup their outdoor igloos and we were fortunate to enjoy our meal in the warmth outside while watching the sunset by the river. What an experience! The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was friendly and accommodating. So glad we went.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and the staff here was extremely nice and welcoming! We sat outside and it was the perfect weather and scenery. The crab cake was delicious and definitely a shareable portion. We also got the clam chowder which did not meet my expectations. It was very bland and we had to add salt and pepper to it. Quite a disappointing dish but the drinks made up for it!

Yelp
I had wanted to try this place for years as I live in Charlestown. I happened to be across the street so popped in. The hostess and bartender (Carl?) could not have been nicer! I felt right at home. I had the Paloma served in a cute cup and it was good. My partner met me and we shared an ArtBar burger and some wings. Both were very tasty albeit very messy so get the wet naps ready. There are so few places with views of the Charles so I'm glad I came and will be back for sure. My only negative feedback would be that it was a bit challenging actually gaining access to the outdoor space as you had to go through the tables in the restaurant which was a bit awkward. The entrance via outside had a rope peeve ring access. Assume it's due to having to cover two potential access points with limited people.
google avatar

Yue Wen C.

Yelp
At the sonesta hotel. Great views outdoors, but indoor dining setting was a bit underwhelming. Very small restaurant. Hostess was accommodating, but would have enjoyed a warmer welcome. Our waiter was fine. The Malbec oxidized. Dinner presentation was fine. Crab cake was crispy, light, and delicious. Would not recommend the scallops, sauce is bland with scallops being slightly overcooked/chewy. Pasta was a weird pairing with the scallops. Flank steak entree was perfectly cooked, but the asparagus/potatoes were lackluster. Overall, would recommend as a quicker casual meal.

Yelp
Food was subpar at best. I had the lobster roll which I was looking forward to... I mean it is Boston how could they do lobster wrong Let me tell you how... they over cooked the lobster so I was chewing for what felt like an hr Service was great though but if your an out of Towner looking to get the best lobster roll in Boston I'd skip this spot.

Yelp
A must visit to enjoy the best view of Boston! Great food, attentive crew, and an amazing chef! Love this

Yelp
Art Bar is a restaurant located in the Royal Sonesta Hotel. I ordered the Art Burger with side salad. My order was brought to me with French Fries. The server apologized and told me to enjoy the fries on him, and he'll get my side salad. This is excellent customer service. The Art Burger was cooked exactly as I asked.. medium. It usually comes out well done. The sesame bun was not soaked and mushy with dressing. The burger was prepared with the right amount of condiments. Outstanding taste for a burger. The side salad was excellent too (see pic). he side salad wasn't iceberg lettuce with shredded carrots for color. It was upscale lettuce prepared with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and julienne carrots. Service was excellent too. My water glass was kept full, and asked if I needed anything else. If you're staying the Royal Sonesta, I highly recommend Art Bar to eat.

Yelp
I went here because I had a Dine Out Boston gift certificate and because, let's face it, I love to try new spots. The vibe seemed classy so we turned it into a date night. ArtBar is inside the Royal Sonesta hotel so if you're lucky you'll get to see a wedding party walk by on the way to snap some pictures by the Charles. I started by ordering the Fire Tonic specifically because I had seen it an another food blogger's Instagram account-- it was literally the prettiest drink I, and probably all her followers, had ever seen. Mine was just a light purple gin and tonic-- not even remotely close to hers-- I was tragically disappointed. It tasted very tonic heavy and lacked the edible flowers in the menu description. The buffalo chicken dip was amazing. The poutine was nothing to write home about (3.5-ish stars). The ArtBar burger was also delish-- (4.5-ish stars). The salmon was also meh-- oily and with a salad that I would eat at home only if someone was forcing me to (3 stars). The S'mores dessert was great, but beware the size-- they say it suits 2-4 people but I would go for the 3-4 because we left overfull (but we did order 2 apps and 2 entrees before that). Service was slow but not terrible. Our server was friendly and honored the gift certificate without qualms. The outdoor patio got buggy after 7pm in September-- they need to citronella that place up. It's a cute, classy atmosphere but doesn't really have the vibe you're looking for on a Friday night-- it's not very popular it seems, as outdoor tables opened up to about 50% capacity around 7pm on a 75 degree day next to the Charles River. I kind of wished we had ventured into the city to find better food and better digs, but I'm happy that I didn't spend a dime thanks to the gift certificate. Side note: we made our reservation via Open Table, and I wasn't a fan of the detail that they only reserve a table for parties of 2 for 1 hour and 15 minutes; parties of 3-4 for 1 hour and 30, etc. It comes off as cheap and tacky. The rule didn't hold true as we had our table for 2 hours and no one hurried us to leave-- on the contrary, we needed to be uber-focused to get our server's attention and there were open tables aplenty-- but just don't mention it: it turns your guests off to visiting.

Yelp
Beautiful location, especially if you can sit on the patio around sunset. The menu is relatively limited, and it feels very much like a "hotel restaurant", but the food that we ordered was all great. The service was also great and everyone was friendly.
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
Art Bar is one of the restaurants inside the Hotel Sonesta (towards the Museum of Science) and they do a good job of serving it up. Service wasn't perfect - slow at times especially to get our check - but the breakfast was good. I had the corned beef hash benedict which was a good portion of corned beef on top of English muffin halves, with two poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. It was tasty and the eggs were cooked properly. The depth of the dish/bowl they served it in was interesting. It was A-OK.
google avatar

Laurie V.

Yelp
Not one of Boston's best restaurants, but it was okay. Lobster roll was smothered in a little too much mayo. Presentation wasn't great- there was a smudge of something in the corner of my plate when it was delivered to me, and I could see where the expeditor attempted to wipe it off. The chilled watermelon-cucumber soup was a little off-putting. I wasn't crazy about it. Salad was decent. Acoustics are terrible. Way too many people in a small space, and I just wanted to get out of there. Slow service. I felt like I was forgotten. I also had a discount, which the server had forgotten to take off. Another friendly server came over, after I had waited and waited. He must have noticed my perplexed look, because he came right over to resolve it. Nothing was particularly terrible, but nothing stood out, either.

Jay C.

Yelp
Great food nice view on the waterfront. Art owned by the owner. Nice outdoor seating for events and a bar. Nice venue to hose events especially with MiT down the street.

Yelp
Came with a group of friends to do a cocktail bar crawl....we combined words. Use your imagination. The drinks were outstanding and beautiful. One essentially had a temporary tattoo on the top. We also got to play with the self-smokers, where you can add smoke to a drink in various different flavors, including mint. They said that they were trying them out and wanted out know our thoughts, which I thought was a cool thing for a bar to do. If you're vegetarian, there isn't much to eat, even the popcorn had beef on it. Not docking a star because we didn't go there for the food.

Diane G.

Yelp
Brunch was great..food and drinks..fruit and salad ..were all delicious. Server was very pleasant and did not rush us at all... i would def suggest a reservation as not a large area. Seems like it would be great to sit outside during nice weather. The restaurant was lively but not loud. It also had a nice bar area. I would def go back.

Yelp
My coworker and I ate lunch here while chaperoning a trip to Museum of Science. We both enjoyed diet cokes and the crab cake sandwich with fries. I skipped the bun. Interestingly the diet cokes were poured out of cans, even when they refilled them right at our table. I was fine with this while it was a little strange. I liked that the carbonation was present which doesn't always happen with fountain beverages. The crab cakes were crispy and full of crab. I had asked for my crab cake over a bed of lettuce, but I only got the lettuce and cabbage portion on my companion's sandwich. This was disappointing, however, the cabbage was pickled and a nice balance to the aioli and crab cake which I appreciated. The aioli was quite tasty with a bit of heat. I did have to ask for a side of the aioli which was annoying, but it came out quickly and in abundance. The fries were not as crispy as I would like, but tasty nonetheless. Our server was kind but very busy with several tables. We enjoyed our lunch and the air conditioning on a hot, humid and somewhat rainy day.

Yelp
The restaurant is located inside a hotel. It is small, there is short bar section and probably a total of 15 tables. The restaurant was super cold, many people in the restaurant kept their jackets on. This was kind of uncomfortable when eating. I got the caesar salad w/ anchovies to start, scallops for entree and a glass of malbec. The salad was fine, like any other caesar salad, nothing special. There were a group of 3 anchovies in the salad, i thought it was okay or it would be made as part of the lemon dressing. It looked like they probably fished it out from the can and laid it on top of my salad. I cannot even taste a hint of lemon in my dressing. The scallops was nicely sheared, not over cooked. It paired very well with the sweetness of the corn puree. It was a good combination, a try if you are a seafood lover.

Yelp
Waiter forget about us. I asked someone to please get him. He came and took our order (didn't apologize). An hour and a half later I had to get up and find the manager. We ordered 3 salads and a burger. He said that they were at capacity. Not an apology, again, I said we only ordered salads and a burger. He said he would check on our order in the kitchen. He never came back to offer an explanation. We waited another 30 minutes and finally I had to get up again to find the waiter to just ask for the check for our drinks. He then apologized and said the kitchen never had our order. Manager never came back, no one offered to comp our drinks. Paid and walked out. Worst experience!!

Yelp
This place is hidden inside the Royal Sonesta hotel. Entering across from CambridgeSide Galleria, take a left as there is are two other restaurants within the hotel so it is difficult to find. There is a fantastic view of downtown and the Charles River from the patio. Food was barely above average, but you're definitely paying for the view more than the quality of food. Servers were very attentive and there are cute cacti on the tables.

Julie K.

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I pass by Art bar pretty often and was looking forward to trying it out. The stars are only for the nice view you get. Good thing we had 50 minutes of waiting for our food to take it all in. Yeah...50 minutes...for two entrées, no drinks (and we had reservations). No one came to let us know when the food would be coming out at any point, and the $28 monkfish entrée was very bland (hopefully you can tell by picture), making the overall experience just a slap in the face. The burger was decent, nothing to go home about (and def not worth waiting almost an hour for)

Yelp
We visited the Art Bar (inside Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge) on a hot summer day for a quick lunch. Nice outdoor seating area. Food is a bit overpriced and under-delivered, but then it's a hotel restaurant. They aren't exactly waterfront, because there is a two-way street separating their patio and the river. In general the ambiance was fine. Service was adequate though the wait was long (and the restaurant was hardly full). They were friendly, though there's nothing really to write home about. We did like the convenient location of the restaurant. It had more of a cafe vibe than a full service restaurant. We had burgers and both were quite simple

Yelp
Stopped by for a late dinner last night. It was near closing time so the place was empty. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar and was served by a very nice and friendly barman. I ordered the ArtBar Burger with a side of sweet potato tots. The burger itself was pretty disappointing. I had ordered it medium but it came our dry and crumbly with no flavor at all. The sauces and bacon helped but along with the fried onion in the burger made for a very soggy bun. I'm pretty sure the patty is frozen and not fresh and probably not made in house. The sweet potato tots on the other hand were really good. I would definitely recommend these. I'd have liked them a tad crispier but not complaining. Overall the food was kind of average and definitely not worth that price. The least a gourmet burger should have is a fresh and juicy patty made as ordered.

Yelp
This place is at a great location and the view outside is soothing! Their drinks are the best with them coming up with new stuff for every season. Food menu is very limited as well as desserts which were just okay. So my 3 stars are for the Drinks and location. Service: 3/5 Ambience(patio): 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Dessert: 2/5

Yelp
Such a good dining experience. Got the clam chowder and sweet potato tots and they were delicious! It was an easy choice since we were staying at the Royal Sonata hotel. The white wine sangria was also tasty.

Yelp
Came here for brunch, and can honestly say it was the best brunch in the Boston area I've had. Everything is super fresh, portion sizes are great, and the French Toast was amazing. Would definitely recommend!!

Yelp
Terrible. Came here for Christmas dinner and there was a ridiculously whack Christmas Buffet for, wait for it, $50 per person. GTFOOH. It was dried up, nasty, low quality food in the serving urns, with no vegetarian options, and absolutely, one hundred percent, was NOT worth $50 a head, and wouldn't be worth it at $20 either. And no normal menu. We got up and left after laughing at the offering. Went across street. Thank goodness they were open!

Yelp
Came here for Sunday Brunch and was not impressed. I have been here before for drinks and had a great time. Going to stick to their bar when I come back. Horrible service. Our server disappeared for a good 20 mins. I think he was just overwhelmed my serving a table of 12. Food: Ordered an eggs Benedict. Yes, I understand this is not the easiest thing to make but come on everyone knows that the egg should not be hard on top and for 15 dollars I was pretty annoyed. I tried to eat it but it was pretty inedible and because it took so long for us to get our food it felt like it wasn't worth asking for another item. My two other friends actually sent back the food back. Drinks: Very tasty. Come here for drinks and sit at the bar.

Yelp
I feel like this place is underrated. Fantastic views of the water and city line. Really pleasant service. Good menu options, very accomodating for gluten free. Maybe a bit pricey but nothing too bad. Really accomodating for seating requests in reservations. Delicious food. Summer Jazz nights are really awesome and give you a sunset view with the city line. Really accomodating for large groups and reservations too.

Yelp
What a great find on the Charles River! We sat on the outdoor patio which provides an exceptional view of the river, people sailing, and Boston Back Bay skyline. Impressive! Service and dinner were really topnotch, especially the fish tacos. While it was a very busy evening, the staff were friendly and gave good menu suggestions. Two relatively minor suggestions to the Art Bar team is to fill water glass when clearly empty, instead of needing to repeatedly ask. Also, don't clear the table until 'everyone' is done eating as taking dishes away only makes the other individual who's not yet finished feel a bit rushed. Setting these couple of things aside as they can easily be rectified, really a wonderful experience, friendly staff, and a very good meal. Will certainly return!

Yelp
Great place for a work lunch, especially when it's warm out and you can sit on the patio. The sweet potato tots are an absolute must! We always get several orders for the table because they go so quickly. As for entrees, I'm a big fan of the various salads with salmon; the presentation is nice and it's sufficiently filling and delicious. The lamb burger is also very juicy and tasty.
