Arthur Cantina Wine & Liquor

These guys are great! I could not find any bottles of liquor from my native homeland (Macedonia) locally as we are preparing for my son’s wedding. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at Arthur Cantina Wine and Liquor store online. The purchase process was simple. Delivery to my doorstep was very efficient. And the bottles were packed tightly and nicely. Thanks to them, we will be able to honor our native culture and homeland as we toast the new bride and groom. I will definitely buy from them in the future and highly recommend their services.

I don't get to NY often anymore, so I use them from the perspective of an online retailer. They have an excellent selection of Italian wines & liquours. If you travel often to Italy as I do, you're likely to have fallen in love with their magnificent beverages. While I can find some in my home state, alas, not all. But with fantastic retailers like Arthur Cantina, I can find many more favorites! They are helpful, friendly, have great prices, shipping is fast, very reasonably priced, and after three orders, everything has arrived in perfect condition. No more packing a bottle in my overseas suitcase!!

Arthur Cantina. From the outside, it looks like your standard wine shop. But once you step inside, reality shifts. I entered with the simple aim of buying wine and Prosecco. My cousins and I live in Long Island and came across Arthur's Cantina Wine & Liquor as we were working on a surprise international wine tasting for Father's Day 2020. What a great experience we had here. Anthony and the staff members were very warm and welcoming, the level of customer service we received was top notch; the guys were knowledgeable about their products and the gang even helped us out with by making some of the lovely wooden signs you see when you enter the store for our father's day wine tasting event. The service we received is exactly what people pay money and travel long distances for. We were extremely pleased with our purchases and the overall experience and we have shared this hidden gem with our family and friends. Great store, nice selection, and knowledgeable ... I think they finally fired the trans Albanian guy who always made me feel weird when I shopped. I will visit again for fine Italian wines and whiskey.

Just wanted to express how great the service and how nice the staff is, especially JP. I text looking for a special bottle of Blantons that I could not find anywhere, but of course, Arthur Cantina Wine and Liquor had what I was looking for. They put the bottles on the side, and I drove into the Bronx from Long Island to pick them up. Their inventory is absolutely phenomenal. Take my advice folks. This is the store you want to shop at. The BEST!!! Had the opportunity to stop by today after lunch at Dominick's. If you're looking for some amazing bourbons this is the place. Knowledgeable, friendly staff that makes you welcome the minute you're in the door. Glad to take some Angels, EH Taylor and a couple others off their hands. Will definitely be back guys!

It's so funny how my friend and I ended up here. We were walking past the store on our way to dine at a restaurant nearby and we heard some old school Tiesto track blasting from somewhere. We looked around and figured out it was the wine store. We started fist pumping outside the window in jest and the guys inside started laughing and invited us in. Guess what? We were right on time for the wine tasting as luck would have it. The staff here was so nice and very welcoming. They generously offered us a taste of several different wines. They had about 10 bottles available for sampling at the time which included both whites and reds. We tried the whites and they were very smooth. You can tell the employees know how to select great choices. White sampling we were also treated to a deep conversation on the topic of worldly issues which was also unexpected. La Cantina was just full of susprises. The store has a nice open layout and a pretty good selection without making the atmosphere feel cluttered which isn't always an easy task. Check in on yelp for 10% discount in your wine purchase!

What a wonderful experience From helping me pick out all the bottles i needed from the very extensive wine tasting they were offering today. They offered a great array of wines to sample ranging from cheap bottles $10 all the way to even $108! Proseccos, rose, Anthony in the store super helpful Ertis. Went above and beyond aside from assisting in the store helping get bottles and i decided it was cheaper to get a case of 12 bottles with a 10% discount While we went out and around to enjoy the rest of the vendors through the feast they held our box for us. When i returned i wanted to carry the box but i was lucky anthony was able to get a handtruck for me that handtruck turned out to be Ertis... He asked where we had parked and carried that huge bag to my car!!! Super helpful, strong and so nice!!! He was my lifesaver! So grateful for everyone who was on their A game! Great job guys!! Be back soon hopefully this time ill get a much closer parking spot!!

After having dinner at a restaurant close by, I googled wine stores in hopes to finding a nice Italian wine to introduce to my boyfriend's family. To my surprise they had a small but great selection of wines. An very nice and knowledgeable employee helped my boyfriend by answering some questions on two bourbons he was indecisive on. The DOC Etna Rosso they had available by Barone Di Villagrande was a nice after vacation sit-on-the-couch and relax sipper. Will come back to explore more wine and Italian producers available.

Great gem of a store! My wife and I had been visiting friends when we took a day trip to Arthur Ave for some things as well as lunch. Stopped in the store to find so many wines and spirits. Being a bourbon and whiskey lover I was overwhelmed by the selection of these items. Anthony and his partner were welcoming and very knowledgeable about some of the bourbons I was looking at. I took an opportunity to purchase a couple of bottles and they were able to ship them home for me! Thank you gentlemen!

Strolling on Arthur Avenue enjoying this wonderful evening night. Walked into this wonderful little spot for wine tasting. Nick shared With me that it was a family business. He takes pride in the business and the rich history of the businesses. I will be returning.

Came in after having dinner next door; my daughter kept yelling "jingle bells!". Luckily we did stop in as the liquor shop had a caroling quartet sing Christmas songs! They took requests and sang a few for the kiddos. Not sure how often they have Christmas festivities on Arthur avenue, but we were in the area on a Thursday 5 days before Christmas. We actually didn't purchase anything, but the staff were so nice and it looks like there is a wide selection of specialty wines and liquors with reasonable prices. We will definitely come back again when looking to add staples to our bar!

They have a nice selection and made excellent recommendations. We buy a lot of wine and are always game to try new choices. It seems that they always featuring different wines.

I bring my friends all the time! There's something for everyone's unique taste and just the right prices! There's a wine tasting every Saturday, which helps me know what I'm getting inot. Their bourbon selection is fantastic! Some stuff isn't available anywhere else! Just overall an amazing experience every single time.

Stopped by today to pick up a couple of bottles of Italian red wine and they had a great selection, broken down by almost every region of Italy. The guys in there are also huge experts and have tasted everything on the shelf. A great mix of prices too so there is something here for everyone.

What amazing people with an amazing selection!!! I was looking for a certain wine I've been raving about to others and they were the only ones who had it while everyone else was out. They had the sweetest Gentlemen Jack shaker and I've never been so excited to make drinks. Will always come back to them when I'm in town!

There are more than thousands of wine stores in New York City in which you could buy an array of alcohol products, but what separates Arthur Cantina from the bunch is the experience. At Cantina they serve a blend of high quality products, excellent customer service, and great intellect about the wine and liquor industry. It's an experience unlike any other. At Arthur Cantina you are literally wine'd and dined like no other. The staff is accommodating and have great recommendations. Sometimes when you enter a liquor store it could be overwhelming. With a plethora of options it could be difficult figuring out the right type of wine to match with your delicious meal. At Arthur Cantina there is no judgment, no air of arrogance. They are educators and aren't trying to make a measly sale. They want to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for and at the price point you want. For those who are looking for something new, they are always having free wine tastings to help enhance your pallet. I have discovered hidden gems at this location. A must visit if you are in the Bronx Area or visiting. You are treated like family.

There is nothing like walking into a place and being treated like family. Anthony and the staff know their stuff, and could answer all my questions and find me the perfect wine (a Sicilian red that was an amazing find). They didn't push anything on me, and always had a smile and a handshake. I learned that this family business is owned and run by two generations of Italians. In a great neighborhood like Arthur Avenue, this place is as authentic as they come.

The liquor bottles had so much dust on them I could've written my name. Out of stock of Hennessy and suggested another kind. I purchased the alternative cognac however the owner then stated his choice was better. "Hennessy is like the equivalent of Colt 45 in France". Then as I was about to leave he started discussing politics and how he might change to a democratic. He said he lost a lot of customers due to telling people he voted for Trump but didn't agree with all of his views. However, he was spewing out Trump nonsense. Oh well I hope the cognac was worth the trouble.

These guys are great! This small wine store has a wonderful selection and they ordered a case for our wedding and delivered it for free. I discovered one of my favorites here- a Meadowsweet Grapefruit Rose, and my mom got a special gin to take home back South. They are very helpful and sweet- a real Little Italy experience!

Wine store on Arthur Ave.. Yeah!!! Family owned and prices are awesome compare to the city. Its a great visit for anyone around location for holiday drinks or stock up their home. They carry lots variety and you can't go wrong paying less for your alcohol. =)

Nice and Friendly staff.. I happened to stop by when they were doing wine tasting.. it was nice.. Affordable prices and if you feel lucky just play the lotto or buy a scratch off right there! will pass by if in the area again.. they have a nice selection.

Amazing store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they have wine tastings every Saturday great to know what the wine tastes like before I take it home. The best part is you learn something new every time you go to the wine tasting. Gotta love that little Italy vibe.

This wine shop may look small, but the selection (primarily specializing in small batch productions) is great and the service even greater. Everyone working in the store has the ability to help you, no matter how experienced your palate is. There are frequent tastings, but no matter when you go you will find the experience to be rewarding and often fun. I can vouch for Alexander and Anthony, but I bet you will be happy with anyone serving you. Be sure to ask for a discount card, and enjoy.

I partecipated in wine tasting and I can say for sure your Nero d'avola is whatever you want to call it but it is not a sicilian wine, it just tastes all another way. Kind of cheating. And for sure prices are higher than average.
