Google
We went in on Christmas Day since Chelsea market was closed and oh boy was this an amazing find!!! Had 3 slices: Vodka Pepperoni, Sicilian and Staten Island. Superb flavor and great size to price ratio. We didn’t have the patience to wait for a table since the place was packed so we just went in and asked take out. Do it!!! Loved it and would absolutely recommend it!!

Google
This is absolutely one of our favorite NYC pizza places! The staff is always so nice and helpful, and the pizza is absolutely delicious. The slices are large and fresh. We dined in and ordered slices, our server let us know that it was a good deal to get three pieces instead of two, which I regretted because it was $30 for three slices and we couldn’t even finish 1 slice each 🤣 But the pizza is absolutely delicious and we have it every time we go to NYC! My one critique is the plastic knives don’t cut through the crust so that’s a little annoying :)

Google
I've loved pizza all my life, and I arrived in NYC for the first time with only 24 hours to spend in the city, looking to try as many different slices I could muster. I walked 47,854 steps this day across the city, stopping every hour or so for a slice of pizza and a beer. And out of all the places I tried, this place was the best of them hands down. It was god-tier levels, and honestly the best slice of pizza I've ever had in my life. The quality of their ingredients is a cut above anywhere else I've tried. The flavours - just unreal. It's been 18 months since I went here and I still frequently cast my mind back to the slices here. I just went for a walk down memory lane and looked this place up on Google, only to see I hadn't actually left a review for this place that really left a helluva impression on me. So here it is. This place does the best pizza I've ever tasted in my life, and whenever I can make it back to New York again, this will be the first place that I go.

It's a casual pizza place that doubles up as a bar somehow! We ordered the house special (of course!) Artichoke Pizza. It was so creamy yummy without losing the Artichoke flavor in the abundance of white sauce! The crust! You actually devour the crust! No leaving behind of that crust. Friendly, attentive straightforward service!👌

Stopped in for some lunch after visiting the Whitney Museum. It's a short walk down the High Line. Pizza by the slice or whole pie. It's in a cute old building with tin ceilings and tile floors. We ordered the Sampler which is 3 slicers of your choice and they came cut in half for easy sharing. The artichoke pizza is the specialty and would be next to impossible to eat while walking as it's very heavily topped with cream sauce and toppings. Grab extra napkins. We also really loved the Vodka Sauce pizza. The sauce was chunky with tomato and super flavorful. Three slices were plenty for the two of us.

Google
We ordered a Sicilian pie. The bottom of the crust was burnt, while the top was undercooked. They used so much tomato sauce that the pizza was completely soggy. I couldn’t believe how they managed to ruin a basic pizza this badly. Even $1 pizzas taste much better. I paid $50 and couldn’t even finish a single slice. The place is also far from hygienic. They seem to be taking advantage of their location in a tourist area. I will definitely never come back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I would give ZERO stars is I could.

Google
The artichoke slice was delicious as always. Yes it's heavy!!! Service was very friendly at this location. I like how they are open late. We got the sampler which includes three slices of your choice. No, this is not your typical NY slice. It does not look, taste, or fold like a NY slice so don't get it twisted. It is tasty tho.

This pizza place is a super dirty place. The restroom smell disgusting full of garbage all over the floor. I got my pizza with hair on it. I added the picture with the hair. All the spices cans were oily and sticky. When I told to the guy that worked there. He didn't do nothing about it. He came and pulled out the hair from the pizza slice and wanted me to eat it like that. Didn't want to give me a new slice instead of it. And gave me very bad attitude. Was disrespectful. This place is absolutely not recommended!!! We left and we're not going to be back NEVER!!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM -10 STARS I WOULD DO THAT!

Yelp
I haven't had a chance to try their food yet since I was driving home, but I wanted to leave a review solely based on the customer service experience. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the waitress, who directed me to the takeout section. I then had a wonderful conversation with the owner, who is not only very knowledgeable about the pizzas but also relatable and easy to talk to. While waiting for my pizza, an inspector came in, and the owner and I had a fascinating discussion about restaurant inspections and what inspectors typically look for. The restaurant has an A rating, and from what I observed, the cleanliness and upkeep of the space suggest they're dedicated to maintaining it. I didn't notice any obvious food hazards either. I will update my review once I indulge.

Yelp
Stick to DiGiorno Frozen Pizza... quicker, same quality of pie and no violent tendencies!!!!.... Awful experience... Specifically the owner needs to attend anger management classes. Not worth the convenience of having a pizzeria close to the apartment. . Details: We ordered a pie and a few drinks. After being servered the drinks the waiter said the pizza should be 20mins. We sat there and watched the pizza makers talking on their phones and the staff interact in an EPTPY restaurant.... .... After at least 40+ (With no pie) we flagged the server about our order....... When I mentioned it was taking too long and we wanted to settle up on the bill.... THEN the owner (who was the guy on the phone the whole time.) Got super aggressive and said you're paying for the pizza and drinks!!! This started the discourse that we were paying only for what we consumed. Then he raised his voice threatening to call the police and we were inebriated..... As our discussion continued you can see the staff finally started our pizza! Right after paying the entire bill we left but without the pie. I went back to get the pie we paid for hoping to avoid the violent owner but of course he made it a point to continue is out-burst! I told him I wasn't the pie I paid for showing my receipt. Then snatched the receipt from my hand. At the moment i demanded my receipt back and a staff member gave me my pie. The owner continued to screw to leave his restaurant. Obviously to avoid any further escalation I left. Truthfully, I don't even know how to react to this. I hope you never go there and have to experience the crackhead owner who needs serious rehab and Jesus! God bless!!! WTF

Yelp
Randomly walked into this place after coming from Chelsea Market. The vibes feel very mom and pop. The whole place smelled amazing as fresh pizzas were being made (just a warning it can get pretty warm in here from the pizza oven) The pizzas were good but nothing special in New York. We got the vodka pepperon and Staten island (my fav of the two). I do love the crust/bread on the pizza and how crispy it gets when they warm it up. Drinks were cheap. Would def stop by again for happy hour or something if I was in the area!

Yelp
Heard raving reviews in general for artichoke pizza so I wanted to give it a try! Needless to say, the first bite was glorious, but the slice is GINORMOUS. You definitely get what you paid for! The value for the pizza was great. Unfortunately, I was sharing this with my fiancé and it just got so overwhelming, that we couldn't eat anymore. We ate half and tossed the rest. Sad, I know. This might just be very situational as we also had just eaten right before this. Definitely try the artichoke pizza if you love spinach dip! It's basically a spinach dip but with artichoke instead, slathered onto a pizza. Good but just too heavy.

Yelp
In my humble opinion this is the best Artichoke Cheese Pizza I have ever tasted. I always find myself coming back for more and will be back as long as I am a New York City resident. Let's also not sleep on the Crab Pizza because it is also very delicious and filling. One slice is all you need but if you have a huge appetite then be my guest for seconds. I am glad to see this quintessential NYC pizza shop pop up at the NYC airport food court because this is a good representation for what will come once you are in the heart of this concrete pizza jungle.

Gloria Z.

Yelp
This is ONE SLICE, sliced in half. Their slices are massive. It is pretty good, but very salty and very creamy. It's almost like a bread bowl with clam chowder, except it's not a bowl and it's not chowder. It is ok. I'm not sure if I would go back because it was so salty.

Mel J.

Yelp
I went to order take out for dinner at 7pm. I was surprised by the size of a slice which is HUGE! A regular pizza box could only fit 2 slices! After choosing my slices, the guy put them in the oven to heat it up. - Artichoke pizza: there was a lot of sauce on top of the crust! (It was a bit messy). The white sauce was good but a tad too salty for me. The artichoke pieces baked into the cheese & sauce were good yet subtle. The crust was crispy on the outside yet it was sturdy enough to hold the heavy toppings. - Margherita pizza: the crust was good. The red sauce had a good balance of acidity and sweetness. The sauce itself was plenty and thick. The mozzarella was good but I wish there were more of them. If you want a substantial slice of pizza, this is the place to go! Flavorful, big portions (very filling) & delicious!

Rachel W.

Yelp
I've been to Artichoke's in Chelsea a few times, and they always have huge slices of pizza. The pizza is always well baked and super flavorful but extremely heavy so beware! My longtime favorite is the vodka square slice. The namesake artichoke slice is huge and extremely soupy. Overall, the triangle slices are all very value as they are huge. Not my favorite place since it is always so heavy, but definitely a once in a while treat. Pro tip: the takeout pizza prices run a few dollars cheaper per slice, so get it to go from the takeout den and eat it on the high line or Hudson river park

Su-jen Y.

Yelp
Came here for some good old NY pizza, it was quite expensive as we got the sample for 3 slices and it was $30. But the pizza was delicious. We had the Margherita, vodka and Staten Island. I liked the vodka one the most, it tasted like the pasta. The crust is crunchy and very good. The main downside to this place is just price. The vibe is like a bar.

Neha G.

Yelp
I forgot how good the pizza is here! It's been years since I had a slice! We were at Chelsea Market thinking of quick dinner options and stopped by. We were quickly seated at a table and told to scan the QR code for menu options. Being vegetarian we tried the vodka slice and margarita slice. I heard the artichoke slice is made with chicken stock, which the server couldn't confirm but had heard the same. To be safe we avoided it. The vodka pizza was outstanding! Full on flavor! Margherita was pretty good too. Both crispy and delish. For $20 we got 2 of each slice already cut. Great for sharing. We were stuffed finishing 4 slices between two people. For $20, we were very full with the 4 total slices. Seating is available at a few regular tables, then high top tables, and the bar. They also have a restroom.

Lien N.

Yelp
One of my personal favorite pizza places. We decided to sit down rather than doing take out - keep in mind that the price is higher for slices if you were to do so. The crowd favorite was the Vodka Pepperoni slice. The Artichoke slice is really creamy. The Meatball Parm was flavorful.

Steven M.

Yelp
What can I say that has not been said before, I fell into the temptation trap again.. there goes that 30 mile run and 500 burpees I did earlier.. All joking aside- these slices are a staple in NYC, you can't go wrong with any of the classic slices and I always stop by when I'm in the neighborhood! Fellow pizzaholics would agree

Yelp
My first night in NYC after traveling all day from California, and went out around 9:30 looking for something to eat. I first went to Joe's Pizza, but was still feeling hungry after one slice. This place was a block from my hotel, and I remembered my friend raving about the spinach artichoke pizza here, and I read about it on a must eat in NYC food blog so figure I would give it a try. It was about 10:30/11 by the time I got there. The bar/restaurant was pretty empty, but I just wanted take out to eat back at my hotel room. I ordered a slice of spinach artichoke pizza. That slice was huge. They had to lay it across two paper plates, which was a bit hard to carry back to my hotel, but I didn't want to ask for a box for just one slice of pizza. I managed to get it back to my hotel without dropping it. The pizza was yummy, but also super rich. The author of the food blog that I saw this in described it as spinach artichoke dip on pizza, and he was dead on. If I had eaten that slice first, then I would have been stuffed. They had a few other pizza options there in the takeout area. They all looked great. I definitely want to go back to try something else next time I visit.

Diana T.

Yelp
Don't sleep on trying their famous artichoke pizza! I wish there was a location in Los Angeles. The pizza slice was massive and can easily feed 2 people. It came out hot and fresh. I ate my slice right away so each bite had a crunch filled which artichoke and cheesy gooey goodness. I also had a slice of their sausage pizza and that was sooooo good too! Service was okay. But I come strictly for the pizza! In and out. When I'm back in the area, I'll make sure to stop by.

Rosanna B.

Yelp
I wouldn't say I love artichoke to the point where I would seek it out but this place was pretty good and would happily return to try different pizzas.

Diego P.

Yelp
Artichoke Basille's Pizza in NYC offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere with mouthwatering slices that are unlike anything you've tasted before. The signature artichoke slice is a must-try, while other options, like the crab slice, also impress. Generous portions and reasonable prices make it a must-visit for any pizza lover.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
We were so excited to try NYC pizza while we were visiting, and our friend said we had to go to Artichoke Basille's. And it was a well-deserved recommendation and some of the best pizza we've ever eaten. I believe it was about $10/slice, but the slices are huge and absolutely delicious. We tried the Artichoke Pizza, Staten Island Pizza, and the Vodka Pizza. They were all so incredible delicious that is hard to pick a favorite, but the Artichoke does win out for me. It's their namesake pizza, packed with artichokes, and so incredibly creamy and cheesy - perfect. But the Staten Island and Vodka pizzas were absolutely delicious as well - I would order all three again in a heart beat. A must stop for good pizza in NYC.

Taylor S.

Yelp
It was fine. Nice ambiance. Server was friendly. The food was okay. Nice crispy crust but heavy on the sauce. If you like that, then this will probably be great.

Jazmin R.

Yelp
Here for a quick work trip and this place was on my list of must haves while visiting as I had seen them on foodie TikTok. Came here with two coworkers and we were seated right away. Two of us decided on the Artichoke slices and the other tried the Margherita and pepperoni slices. My artichoke slice was awesome! Creamy with pockets of more cheese and crunchy artichoke pieces. My coworkers seemed to like their slices too so everyone left satisfied. The place itself gives old speakeasy vibes with darker wood tables and bar plus tiled floor with pictures hanging on the walls.

Fernanda S.

Yelp
Good pizza not your average cheap slice spot This location has a nice seating area and a pick up side We just wanted a quick bite around 4pm we got a pepperoni and artichoke we asked if they could sliced it for us So it was perfect we had half of each The pepperoni is good and has plenty of toppings The artichoke one is very rich I like it but I could not eat an entire slice so the half and half is perfect It's not a pizza I would eat regularly but when having friends/family visiting me in the city it's a nice spot Can't comment on the rest of the menu

Yvonne C.

Yelp
I came in on a Saturday afternoon with a group of hungry teens and I will say, everyone left full! The slices are HUGE, so I think a slice per person is sufficient when you're planning your order. Okay, the pizza is delicious! A must try is their signature artichoke slice- its got a creamy sauce and if you're a fan of alfredo sauces, you'll like it.

Sujal B.

Yelp
Excellent pizza -- large slices! Quick great attentive service. Climb down from the High line near 17th street and just cross the street. Want a quick (but "NY good") pizza this is the place in Chelsea! Decor inside is cool to hangout

Luz C.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of the original Artichoke Basille's Pizza near Union Square and was skeptical to try this location as many great places lose their authenticity once they turn into a chain. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the pizzas at this location though, they tasted like the original recipe, nothung has been changed! We ordered the Alla Vodka with pepperoni for the first time & it's genius!! If I still lived in NYC I'd go have this pizza every day! I highly recommend this location.

Leonel J.

Yelp
Swung by Artichoke Basille's on my NYC pizza crawl. The vibe was chill, and the staff were friendly. Tried a pepperoni slice, flavor was ok nothing to rave about and soggy in the middle. Not what I was hoping for. Thankfully, the Sicilian slice saved the day! Much more flavor and a great crust. If you're here, go for the Sicilian!

Alexandra S.

Yelp
I wish I had read the reviews first! The artichoke pizza slice was extremely salty (and messy). One slice is really two slices, but it was really hard to enjoy with the salt and heavy cream overpowering the artichoke flavor.

Matt O.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best non traditional slice I have ever had. The artichoke slice blew my mind and tastebuds! It's like the best spinach artichoke dip you've ever had, on a slice. Both slices we tried had a great crust and the traditional had a sweet sauce and fresh, delicious toppings. I think both were the best slices we had in NYC all week.

Gloria A.

Yelp
The slices are huge and let me tell you the Sicilian was my fav! So soft yet crunchy Amazing flavor! The only this is be ready to stand or ear on the go The place is small and outside is reservation only... Worth the wait and didnt mind standing for such a delish slice

Naomi S.

Yelp
Awful experience tonight. Not one to write reviews but my family and I insist I should. 2nd time coming to this place for obvious reasons which is the artichoke pizza (bomb.com btw) however very disappointed with the service my family and I received tonight. Upon arrival we were sat in the corner which was cozy and comfortable for my family and fury friend. We proceeded to order and hang out as we waited for our food when we were suddenly asked to get up from our table to accommodate a larger tables who had just entered the establishment. Confused and upset we said we would prefer to stay since our fury friend tends to be afraid of people and loud noises. The serve disregarded my request and kept insisting for us to move spots until the family was kind enough to tell us to stay put. At this point things were starting to rub us the wrong way. There were open high tops large enough to fit the family which is why we were all so confused .. We initially ordered 4 slices of the artichoke pizza, 1 vodka, 1 cheese plain and 1 Sicilian -- my little sister then decided against having pizza and we quickly canceled the plain cheese. We carried on and finally out food arrived to our table but was missing a slice.. we ate just about all the pizza until we noticed that there was a slice unaccounted for. We confronted the waiter and asked that since it was not brought out if it could be removed, we no longer want it considering we were all done eating at this point. The waiter proceeded to rudely tell us that if it was ordered it will be charged. I asked for a manger and apparently no manager was working this night. The waiter began to get defensive, rolled his eyes at me and walked away never to return... I don't understand why is had to be such a serious matter, the pizza was never given to us! Long story short, my family and I were upset at this point. It was never about the money nor not wanting to pay, we just don't find it fair to have to pay for something we never received.. they definitely brought it around AFTER the fact that it was brought to the attention. Honestly, if we never said anything I'm sure we would've been charged and no one would've noticed. .. to end it off, we asked for a box and the check.. when we received the we noticed that we were being charged for what looked like pies instead of individual slices. Angry at this point I get up and speak to the other server who was on the floor. I demanded he explained this check to me because considering all the previous bad experiences I'm think we are being taken advantage at this point. I feel that a pizza shop should provide an itemized receipt of each slice ordered, not 2 separate charges of 28.75 that is meant to equal 6 slices... the server at this point also had a defensive attitude, I ignored it and assumed defeat.. it's just Pizza lol My point to this is, no matter if it's just a pizza place, people come to spots like this to have a pleasant time and unwind. Get better servers who are willing to offer a welcoming experience as opposed to an annoyed demeanor of having to be there. Love your pizza though

Nian Z.

Yelp
New Yorker here having artichoke pizza for the first time and I'm glad to report that it lived up to the hype! Woo! But just the artichoke slice, I think it's safe to skip the rest and go somewhere for NY style slices :) Ordered the Sampler of 3 Slices Artichoke Slice: I ordered online and had no idea how huge these slices would be (never seen them in person before) and was already scratching my head at having to pay $7 for a slice of pizza but I assure you, it is worth it. Because the slice is HUGE. Hand for scale in picture below. You will not, and I repeat, will NOT, be able to eat a whole slice yourself. (I guess unless you haven't eaten for a day or so..) Not just because it's big, but the crust is also on the medium thickness level, and very creamy, so it can be quite filling. The artichoke taste is pretty mild (for someone who doesn't particularly like artichokes) but sooo creamy and nice. It's not something I would eat again and again because it's so heavy, but I definitely enjoyed it a lot. Crab Slice: this slice was definitely my least favorite and something I would never again. Didn't enjoy the taste of the imitation crab. Also quick thick. Whereas the artichoke slice's thickness works because of its creaminess, this crab one doesn't Pepperoni Slice: definitely go elsewhere for your traditional/classic slices for the price and also for the taste. Not bad, I did enjoy the pepperoni

Yelp
I was walking The High Line and decided to grab a quick bite somewhere close by so I found Artichoke Basille's. I realized quickly that I only need one slice because they're massive, probably 3 XL at minimum! The Staten Island pizza was delicious and highly recommended. It had meatballs, ricotta cheese , onions & tomato sauce. You can tell they used good quality ingredients because it tasted fresh. Takeout was quick and simple to order.

Mark P.

Yelp
This spot was on my girlfriend's list of must try places before we left NYC. So, even though we'd just eaten tacos at Chelsea Market--4 for me and 3 for she, we waddled on over and grabbed a quick slice. Not having much room we just got one slide of artichoke to share. It was very good. Hot, melty, creamy with a crisp crust. It's a cool spot right by the Highline, which we used to take a little walk and burn off all the calories we just packed in before our flight home.

Aristotle L.

Yelp
I had high expectations for Artichoke Basille's pizza and was told I had to try the Artichoke Pizza. This location was not very good. The prices were high, the pizza crust was hard and extremely dry, and the sauces were heavy and greasy. I am disappointed to say that I will not be returning. MY ORDER: x1 Three Slice Sampler THREE SLICE SAMPLER: ($28.95) While each slice was large enough to equate to 1 1/2 slice of pizza, breaking it down, each slice was priced at a whopping $10. All of the pizzas were served luke-warm and on a medium-thin crust. On top of that, the crusts had been baked to to the point where consuming it was like biting into a hard dry crouton. The three slices I sampled were the artichoke, crab and pepperoni pizza. ARTICHOKE PIZZA: This is essentially artichoke spinach dip on a pizza without the spinach. There were some large chunks of tender and lemon-y artichoke on top of the heavy cream sauce. While the toppings were good, the pizza dough itself was less than impressive. CRAB PIZZA: Before you order, you should know that surimi crab meat is imitation crab meat. Surumi is the meat paste typically made from fish which is pressed into the shape of crab meat. The crab pizza tasted like cold clam chowder with miniscule shredded bits of imitation crab meat scattered throughout. The slice of pizza I had ordered had missing chunks of topping that appeared to have fallen off somewhere. PEPPERONI: Wherever I go, I always get a slice of pepperoni pizza as a standard. This pepperoni pizza was nothing out of the ordinary other than the fact that it was topped with slightly thicker cuts of pepperoni (that had a small circumference than regular pepperoni). It was not particularly cheesy or delicious. ENVIRONMENT: the old pub-like environment is not for everybody. While it has character, it is dim and dated TIPS: - if you insist on eating at this location, get drunk first - count your change. Our server accidentally shorted us $10 until we informed him - they do offer garlic powder and dried basil on the tables along with the traditionally chili flakes and parmesan, but even those can't save the pizzas CONS: - overpriced with sub-par sauces and toppings - extremely dry crusts that turns into chalk in your mouth (these were not the twice-baked pizzas)

Yelp
Whether it's spontaneous hunger after a late night out or a craving for comfort, Artichoke is there for you, like a friend who you see once a year but still can catch up with like nothing's changed. Well, aside from the prices anyway. I believe one slice is over $7 now after tax.. gotta love inflation. Artichoke Pizza is best known for their namesake pizza, the Artichoke pie (or slice). A thick, borderline deep dish slice of guilt, it is filled with a heavy cream and artichoke mixture that is twice the size of a typical NY slice. One slice is enough for a satisfying meal. It is VERY heavy. I honestly cannot stomach more than one slice. The other slices of note are the crab slice (not offered all the time) and the Margherita slice, both which are thinner than the Artichoke slice. They are a hit or miss, because sometimes the bottom is burnt. But if I had to recommend just one, try the Artichoke. Or better yet, get a bunch of different slices and share with a friend for the full experience.

Amelia C.

Yelp
I tried artichoke pizza a few years ago at a different location and remember loving it. When I ate this slice the other day, it was disappointing. It was fresh out the oven, but the slice of pizza was not hot. It was just warm. There isn't much of a flavor to the pizza-reminded me of a creamy clam chowder-without the clams. The slice was extremely too salty. Both my friend and I did not finish out slices due to it being too salty.

Eli Rebecca F.

Yelp
Memories! I used to live on Manhattan and this was our go to place for pizza after a fun night out in Chelsea. The artichoke Pizza is so creamy and delicious, just like I remembered it, and we also tried the Staten Island Pizza- really good! I don't normally like meatballs on my pizza but they did a very good job with the size of the meatball pieces and the taste they were super busy, but kind and helpful. We sat at the bar. I will definitely be back.

Colleen W.

Yelp
I'm always in the mood for a slice of artichoke pizza, but I came here during a slow hour (after my skating class at Chelsea Piers) and the guy running the takeout counter was really awkward. I wanted to run away because he had a snarky sense of humor interjected with awkward silence and extended eye contact. I almost want to avoid this location completely because of the awkwardness of having to be in his presence while waiting for the pizza to be heated up. He wasn't mean or anything, but just cringey experience overall. Pizza was decent as always!

Anthony D.

Yelp
Located right outside of Chelsea Market, a perfect place to grab a slice and eat up on the catwalk of the High Line. Had to stop by and try their famous Artichoke Pizza slice and while there also grabbed a Vodka Sicilian. Firstly, the artichoke slice is HUGE. The picture is one slice that they cut into two so these are hefty thicc slices. On first glance, the amount of creaminess can look overbearing and heavy, but while eating it, I was surprised by the balanced level of saltiness where I ended up eating my whole half of the slice. A very unique flavor and slice where if you are into very creamy things, this is the slice for you! I would say I appreciated the slice for how different it is, but would maybe not get it again. The Vodka Sicilian slice was excellent! I love Vodka sauce with pasta so in a pizza form, it really is delicious. If I were to come back, then I would actually get the Vodka slice over the artichoke.

Yelp
Service was great, very friendly. The pizza was fantastic. The vodka pepperoni was my personal favorite.

Yelp
There's a lot of hype around Artichoke Basille's Pizza. Although they deliver, it's in a different way than expected! As an artichoke fan, the Artichoke Pizza is good but it is extremely dense. It's difficult to get through the slice on your own since it's packed with a TON of cheese. Overall, I though the slice was okay but definitely worth the experience. The surprising turn took with the Margherita Pizza. It was airy and fluffy topped with rich basil infused marinara sauce. This was my favorite slice at Artichoke Basille's Pizza and quickly became one of my favorite margherita pizzas from all of NYC! Regardless of what you get, Artichoke Basille's Pizza is definitely on the NYC food bucket list.

Yelp
Wish I could write a review about the way my slice tasted but I was waiting in the take outline for 15 minutes because there was one person working at a non urgent pace handling the orders for the entire restaurant, plus take out, plus delivery orders. I walked right out, hungry

Yelp
Stopped by here after walking the highline as soon as they opened for lunch. The hostess/bartender/server was really friendly!!! I didn't get her name, but this was on new years day and she said she was juggling all of the positions that day. The pizza slices were big!!! They advertise them as 3 slices for $20 but really the slices are cut up in half already, so depending on how hungry you are.....you can definitely split this deal. The 3 slices I got were the artichoke, margarita and meatball parmesan. This was my first time eating here, and the artichoke was pizza was delicious but I don't think I could have more than 1 slice....it was definitely heavier and had a thicker crust than the other two. The margarita was probably my favorite, then the meatball, and lastly the artichoke. I would definitely come back here for the delicious food, great service and they also had my favorite beer here - Blue Moon w/ a slice of orange, so I was definitely happy eating there after a nice walk. Highly recommend!

Yelp
When we came in they asked for proof of vaccination we waited to be seated. The bartender was not able to put in order in for us so we waited for the server which took about 20 minutes so I walked over to the pizza counter and ordered a fresh pie for $36. There are slices for $6 which is much faster if youre doing the grab and go. The pizza takes about 25 minutes to bake in the oven. We got a half margherita and staten island. It was very doughy on the crust and thick which I would expect from a ny style pizza. The pizza was good but service for seating guests at the door needs improvement. Other tables were being served while we waited to be seated. Next time I would explore the chelsea market a block away for my future dining experience.

Yelp
I ordered a Pepperoni Pie from Artichoke this past Saturday night via Uber Eats. Let's just I expected more than what I got. Not being a Native New Yorker I was expecting great pizza. On a positive note the delivery guy was friendly and efficient and the pizza was still hot when it arrived. The crust was tough, the sauce was a little salty and the pepperoni would have been better if it was crispy. I mostly just ate the toppings, shared with my family but gave half of the pie to the trash. Sorry Artichoke...you're not the one.

Yelp
The most liked pizza joint near the mid section of Highline. Off we went on today's visit. Heard of it's artichoke pizza popularity. We ordered their sampler. Price is good for the slices portion. Tasty but find it too salty based on my opinion , It must be the cheese. The bread is too thick, hoping it came with thin crust instead. I loved the artichoke salad , that one is recommended to try . Quite busy on our visit day but glad we were seated right away upon arrival. Place shows sign of aging, ceiling mold is a turn off but people somehow focussed more on the quality of the food. Still a good pizza joint to hang out.

Yelp
We just walked in and so far there's one star here here because the waitress- host with the mole on the forearm is the nastiest rudest person I've seen, it's like she really doesn't wanna work here. I don't even know why she's here. She should just go get a job at the mall or stayed in school , the pizza however, is outstanding so if anything, just come for the pizza and hope you don't get a rude host or server.- and that's why my review is missing two stars.

Yelp
My first NY pizza experience was here. My husband and I were in the area checking out Chelsea Market when we stumbled upon this Artichoke's and decided to take a seat to try this famous artichoke pizza slice. They have take out at the end of the store as well as dine-in option. We visited right around 1 PM and there was a good amount of people, limited seating here but they sat us at the piano table! When we got around to ordering and eating, the place definitely filled up more. We got one slice of the artichoke pizza and one slice is definitely a full meal for one person and can easily be split between two especially if you're not here on an empty stomach. One slice is about $10, might seem like a lot but I think you get what you pay for. The guys in the back and busy churning out pizzas and will ring the bell for the server to grab your order so it comes out piping hot. I thought the temperature was great and the slice was huge as stated earlier. The artichoke was a good addition to what's a rather cheesy piece of pizza. I had to scrap some cheese off because it was a bit overwhelming. Not your thin slice of pizza when you think of NY, the crust actually doesn't topple over when you're holding your pizza out. Overall, the bites that weren't overcheesed were delicious! I would definitely come back to try the other pizzas when I'm hungry with a group of friends.

Yelp
Great pizza! We got the artichokes pizza here and it was delicious. The slices are HUGE! There is an option to pickup or sit down - there are a lot of seating options including outdoor, indoor, at the bar.

Yelp
Love the pizza here. It's tasty every time BUT reviewing poorly due to the creepy security guard who was taking photos of young girls on a Saturday night out without their consent. When one of the girls noticed and confronted him he said, "I thought it would be a cool pic. I was gonna take it on your phone but decided to do it on mine instead". What?!
