The Best Restaurants in North Beach and Bal Harbour in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami

"Artisan Beach House is a waterfront restaurant located inside the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbor. It offers a menu filled with options from land and sea, including pimento cheese croquetas, charred octopus, and Colorado lamb chops. Decadent blueberry cheesecake and baked Alaska desserts taste better when paired with one of the restaurant’s refreshing cocktails." - Juliana Accioly

The Best Healthy Restaurants in Miami | Bon Appétit

"When you think of a Ritz-Carlton restaurant, you probably think of hefty steaks and creamy Caesar salads. But theArtisan Beach Houseat the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour debuted a surprising new menu this past May. With the hotel’s location at the convergence of the intercoastal waters and the Atlantic Ocean, it’s only fitting that the sea would take center stage. Inside, eclectically patterned dining chairs cluster around white and beachwood-colored tables. Don’t miss the center bar whose lower tin paneling is painted a tropical turquoise—a casual contrast to the more marble trim and brassy finishes. Expect fresh seafood prepared with an international flair, like salmon with wakame, avocado, and yuzu aioli, or charred octopus with vadouvan carrots, yogurt, and fresh cilantro sauce.10295 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour." - ByAustin Langlois

From the onset of being sat to leaving it was a great experience. We sat outside with the moon shining bright and just a slight breeze. Server was attentive and the staff seemed to work well together. The drinks were to perfect the bartender is a true mixologist. Compliments to the chef for all the food exceeded our expectations. We even got to sample a Creation from him with a salmon mousse I could have eaten a plate full of that .

We arrived via boat & decided to have dinner close to the marina. We thought it would be a nice, simple dinner. From the onset of the hostess seating us, to our server who was fabulous, (sorry I do not remember her name - she was amazing), drinks were great and the food - phenominal! It was a beautiful evening to sit outside & we had a great view of haulover inlet. Everyone worked seamlessly together: hostess, server, wait staff, bartenders and were always attentive, asking if we needed anything. Compliments to the chef as everything we ordered far exceeded our expectations. To start we were served a small appetizer/dessert to taste which was delectable. We ordered the Provoleti appetizer and it was delicious, Peach, Beet and goat cheese salad was amazing and the main courses: grilled snapper and baked chicken with celery mash was mouth watering! That celery mash was so flavorful, I would order that as a side! If you get the chance, definitely worth the visit!

Beautiful views, amazing food and excellent service is how I can best describe this place! My family and I came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed at all! Even though it was a windy evening, it was comfortable to dine in the outdoor area. We ordered the short ribs, provoleta, ceviche, rosemary rolls and truffle fries. Every single fish came out so beautifully presented. Dishes were full of flavors and came out at the correct temperature. Their cocktails selection is fascinating as well. I highly recommend their Coastal Cayenne. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They surprised us with a lovely happy birthday dessert. If you are looking for a place with great water views, top service and high quality food, then do yourself a favor and visit Artisan Beach House. We will definitely be back to try their brunch menu.

The breakfast was not worth the cost, and they forgot to give me the bacon, i did get it after i asked for it, three small pieces. The view is nice and the waiters were nice.

I had a fantastic experience at Artisan Beach House. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The cigars were a pleasant surprise, offering a great selection that made for a memorable evening. The food was also impressive, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a good cigar or a delicious meal, Artisan Beach House delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Wonderful restaurant near Sunny Isles with fantastic food, views, and atmosphere. The menu is a bit limited, so we ended up ordering about half of it and it was all amazing. The plates are delicious and perfectly presented. Service was excellent and they had a very talented live musician for the evening. I highly recommend the Artisan Beach House for any occasion.

Thank you Chef Emmanuel, Chef Juan and our server Joshua for giving us the best first experience ever. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend.

Google
Artisan beach house is as an overall decent experience. Compared to other views for restaurants in Miami it’s definitely not my top choice so if you’re coming here for views I wouldn’t recommend this spot. The food was actually surprisingly good (we ordered all lunch food). The service is decent with 1 server for the whole deck. If you’re near the area come try it out. The food is definitely pricey for decent food ranging around 40-50 per person if you get 1 entree and 1 drink.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. This was my first time coming here. We really enjoyed the views of the water and the boats going by. I had the spicy margarita which was light and refreshing. My friend had the prosecco. Both drinks were incredible and paired nicely with our appetizers. We ordered the tuna tartare which was so fresh and delicious. The balance of the smooth avocado combined with the salty soy sauce and crunchy rice cracker was a dream. We also ordered the short ribs mac and cheese. It was so cheesy and had a nice crunch with the breadcrumbs. The short rib meat was succulent and it combined nicely with the cheese. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had Marissa as our server. She was very welcoming and made our experience extra special. This is a beautiful restaurant both inside and out. It is perfect for those on vacation as well as others who live locally. A great place to bring a date, friends, or family with a beautiful view of the water.

Yelp
Went to lunch with my son, had a good view, but the service and food were far less than expected. Ordered off of a very basic lunch menu. Food that came did not include what the menu clearly stated was part of the meal and the only reason I ordered that dish. When I brought it to their intention, they ignored it entirely. Rude. Won't be back.

Yelp
So, so, SO beautiful! Came here with some friends and we were all blown away by the outdoor seating and view. If weather permits, definitely recommend that. For food, I had the chicken pesto sandwich which was delicious and very filling. A decent sized portion, if you will. For drinks, I'd recommend the Miami Sunrise, SOOOO Yummy! Staff and servers were very friendly and tended to us right away! Our waitress was really, really sweet and nice. Will definitely return! Heads up- Valet is $15 but they were really quick about getting our cars.

Yelp
Dined there twice during our stay: you can expect mediocre, overpriced food. Dishonest about and advertising "homemade" granola, when in fact serving some cardboard, cheap, mass produced product from Sysco, most likely. The meat in the Bahn mi sandwich was so tough , it was inedible.

Yelp
Their restaurant delivers our needs with breakfast/lunch/dinner. Their service went beyond our expectations and made us feel at home. Its ambiance is perfect for a beach vibes romantic getaway.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant but they were having an off night when we arrived. They had a large wedding reception to address and the bar tender did not show up that evening. We showed up early for a drink outside before dinner. After ordering at the bar, they said "sit anywhere". We found an empty table without any decorations or cutlery and this really threw them off. We had to ask for glasses (for water, silverware, napkins... all after the food arrived.

Yelp
The first thing you notice about this place is the view. You can't beat it. Even with the wind blowing we were able to walk along the terrace while we waited for the rest of our group and just soaked in the view. Our server was super sweet and gave us recommendations from the menu. She was patient when some of our group got delayed and never hurried us, which we greatly appreciated. The menu isn't particularly big but there's something for everyone, including an impossible burger, which can be hard to find at such good quality. We ordered lots of different entrees and all were delicious. The sides available included regular fries, salad, fresh fruit, or my favorite...sweet potatoes fries (yummy)! Their standard burger was flavorful and juicy. Both the girls who ordered the poke bowl raved about it. The menu isn't particularly vegan friendly but it is vegetarian friendly. The desserts all sounded so good but we opted for the cheesecake...a solid choice! Beautiful view, friendly staff and good food...the perfect spot for Sunday brunch with the girls (and a perfect unplanned end to our bachelorette weekend).

Yelp
Nice restaurant on the water inside the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbor. Inside and outdoor seating with a delightful duo singing. Nice menu selection. We had the rib eye, hummus, and fish. All we're delicious. Service was shamefully slow but the fault lays with management. Full house and tremendously understaffed. Our poor waiter was running ragged.

Yelp
The artisan beach house was a great scenic dining experince at the very upscale "Ritz-Carleton" Bal Harbour hotel. I went here to celebrate my birthday and the service and views of the harbour were excellent although it was rainy when we arrived. We started with the guacamole and chips and it was very fresh and tasteful. For the main course I had the churrasco steak that came with delicious yuca cut fries. I had seen the chocolate martini on yelp and wanted to try it myself and it was pretty good although it could have been stronger. For dessert we opted for the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream which our server comped, since it was my birthday. It was on the smaller side, but very good. Overall I would return but hope they can expand the menu and bring back their brunch after COVID.

Yelp
The view is terrific. Staff is friendly but slow. The first morning that I ate breakfast here the food was cold when it arrived. Eggs and bacon were good. The potatoes are so-so, pretty much the same standard as one would get at a Denny's--yet much more expensive, of course. It's convenient if staying in the hotel, but I would not recommend making a trip to dine here otherwise.

Yelp
This place is awesome ! It is on the main floor of the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour. There is indoor and ample outdoor seating. The decor is contemporary and kind of beachy but very chic. The staff here is very accommodating, friendly and warm. The drinks are good and the bartender gives a nice pour. We had the hummus plate with extra veggies. Delicious. It has fresh hummus topped with a little spicy harissa and a side of tzataki. Some pita and veggies. We also had the Cobb salad , a house salad with salmon and - whoops I can't recall the 3rd salad. Then we added sweet potato fries and they were yummy. If in the Bal Harbour area - check it out

Yelp
This was my first Miami spice dinner of the year. My friend and I had the crispy Peruvian octopus, the burrata salad, braised short rib pappardelle, plantain crusted red snapper, the lemon cheesecake, and chocolate crunch torte. The octopus and pappardelle were amazing. And the chocolate torte was a good way to end the meal. Miami spice runs through September 30th, so I'm looking forward to a lot of good meals.

Yelp
A lovely visit to the Ritz Carlton during the holiday season. I was attending a champagne Gala but decided to meet a friend for dinner beforehand. Visited around 6pm just after the sunset, and dined in the patio. Started with a glass of white wine, while taking in the views. I chose the Canadian Salmon with togarashi, avocado yogurt, crispy potatoes, and arugula. I have to say all of these flavors meshed so well together. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was complemented by the cook avocado yogurt. This is a great place for an nice romantic dinner, with water views.

Yelp
Excellent quality of food and preparation. Our five year old claimed these to be excellent fries . The burger was scrumptious. Easy to eat with one hand and nothing fell apart while eating it. The salmon and broccoli dish was also very very good. Service was amicable, the views were a plus and dessert was also well made. As a bonus, they have a cigar menu here, so if you're into that you can walk off to the section outside where they allow you to smoke and it's a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious cigar. Would come back for the burger and views.

Yelp
Went for a Mother's day late lunch/dinner celebration. The Artisan Beach House is inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Bal Harbor. This is a fancy and well served restaurant, ocean side, mostly visited by hotel guest and locals of the Bal Harbor/Surfside area. As previously noted the Artisan Beach House is ocean side so upon walking in, you can't help to notice the beautiful views of the ocean, pier and Haulover beach. Most tables are near the window but you can always reserve a special window just to make sure you get a site. There is also a small outdoor area to lounge. My Artisan meal: Mango Rum Runner- heavy Mango taste but wasn't thrilled thought it would have a more natural taste, It's a heavy fruity rum drink. $14 Butter Bread- buttered bread rolls, buttery but not enough flavor. Guacamole- hass avocado feta cheese, tortilla chips. Could use more flavor and more feta. $12 Lamb Chops- roasted eggplant baba ganoush, arugula, mint jus, tomato marmalade. delicious tender lamb. $43 Crab Cakes- Chayote and green mango slaw, piquillo sauce $18 Branzino-fish of the day, whole fish beautifully presented, light flavor. Charred Corn- Manchego cheese, jalapeno, lime. Good side, light. $8 Everything was beautifully presented of course but I felt like it needed more flavor on some items. The service is 5/5 of course at the Ritz, you can't expect less. Our waiter was too connected sometimes where you wished you had a little privacy but none-the-less, she did not skip a beat with her service and knowledge of the job. This is a high end restaurant and expect to pay hefty prices for food and mostly drinks at a Ritzy location by the sea.

Yelp
Nice upscale service in a nice upscale hotel, that nonetheless sports a casual vibe, perhaps owing to its alfresco waterfront location. Mains and appetizers are delicious, but quite pricey, with mains ranging mostly from $30 to $50. Service is impeccable, but food can take a while to come, so make sure you are not in a rush.

Yelp
Went here for dinner last night because it was one of the few places we could get a reservation on the water at sunset time so last minute. I'll start with the views. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It's one of the few places in Miami that I've found on the water in which you can see both the ocean and bayside at the same time, making it the perfect spot for sunset. The views were perfection. For being at the Ritz and paying a pretty penny for dinner, I feel that the table setting could've been just a little fancier, but it was still nice! The food was pretty good. I had the chicken and my friend had the steak. She felt her steak could have been more seasoned and she had to add a dash of salt and pepper herself. I was concerned about the server's lack of knowledge regarding food allergies. I have a gluten allergy and when I asked what I could eat, he wasn't very knowledgeable which always makes me feel a little uncomfortable when trying to navigate through ordering. When it was time to order dessert, he told me he thought the brownies would be gluten free. Not because they use a special kind of flour, just because he thought that was typically a gluten free dessert. I expect more when going somewhere like this to dine. Hopefully this restaurant can help educate their staff better or maybe even clearly mark GF options on the menu, because that's always super helpful! :)

Yelp
Well inside the bubble of picky people paying lots of money to vacation, this kitchen delivers on the cuisine. Your correspondent only enjoyed a few dishes (ceviche, burrata salad, and a café latte) but, boy, were they good. In both expected and unexpected ways. Really good work. Decent views. Service is friendly and understated although one gets the sense that the servers are bracing for the blow from that inconsiderate and picky customer that is always just seconds away; I suspect that the worst thing about this place is the customers. A kind word and a smile while dining certainly seem to go a long way with the staff.

Yelp
Generic Sysco/airport "food" and poor service not up to the usual Ritz standard at all: we ordered two cappuccinos and two bagels and they brought one bagel; after we asked for the other bagel, they brought that, but no coffee. The cappuccino was a mistake, well below coffee machine quality. The puffy "bagel" could be mistaken for one in the Midwest. WTF, Ritz?

Yelp
Restaurant is located within The Ritz Carlton. Walked in and the entire place was empty at first, but we were quickly greeted by a very kind women. She quickly sat us outside and brought us water and struck up good conversation. The views here are incredible of the beach while you relax outside. I started off with a Thyme Courivosier Sour, our waiter informed me it was one of their best. Not long after I received it I was in strong agreement with her and savored every last bit of it (considering they're 17$ each). Me and my father both ordered their Artisan Burgers which were VERY delicious. However it did take a good 40 minutes or so before we received them. Keep in mind the restaurant was completely empty besides us Burgers came with crispy onion strips on top which is a favorite touch of mine on any burger. Overall food was delicious, wait was a bit long, location is amazing, and service was fairly good.

Yelp
wow, wow, wow. views, views, views!! i loved this place, everything about it was wonderful. The pleasant staff, the food, the service, the views and the food. I came for the Miami spice lunch menu and had the following, the starter of Tuscan Kale. It was fresh, looked amazingly presented on the plate and I enjoyed it immensely. This was followed by the amazing herb lemon chicken - I LOVED this, the chicken was seasoned beautifully and so moist and tasty. The sweet potatoe mash was to die for and oh!!!!! the brussel sprouts - divine. 10/10, a fabulous combination. After this my dessert was the key lime pie which was good but I have had better. I loved the fresh fruit that came with it, but was not a fan of the white baubles of cream/ meringue? I am not sure what it was to be honest, imo I think if it was replaced that with real whipped cream it would have improved the dish. Overall though fantastic. THE VIEWS HERE ARE STUNNING....

Yelp
I should have left right after reading the breakfast menu. Or maybe after trying to catch the barista's eye. The food is generic, no one cares, the only part of Ritz experience is price: ~$80 for two + toddler, gratuity included, negative gratuity unfortunately not an option. Nice view, nice interior design.
google avatar

Yelp
What a interesting experience. So we tried this place out during Miami spice and I was not to impressed. The restaurant does have a great view out into to the ocean and into haulaover sandbar but that about the best part of it. The menu sounded great the food was nothing out of this world and the service was beyond slow. Theresa was maybe 3 other tables being serviced and they took forever to bring the food and we waited a good 15 mins to find someone to bring the check. The humus app was ok and the quinoa salad was large but not amazing in taste. The lemon chicken did stand out a but I really wish I did not have to deal with the drum stick as this is not really kfc.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I had an absolutely terrible experience at Artisan recently. We have dined there several times before seeing that we live next door and while the food and service has always been good this time around it was truly appalling. We dined at Artisan for Valentine's Day and like most other restaurants they had a prefixed menu. 1 choice of starter, 2 choices of second course (a soup and a salad), 2 choices of main course (veal and fish) and 1 choice of dessert. Since it was two of us, we literally tried everything on the menu. Our appetizer was a cheese plate that really looked like it was from Costco. The cheese wasn't good, it tasted like it had been out for most of the day. We continued on to our second course. The salad was soggy and the soup was cold (meant to be hot) The fish and veal were ok at best, but nothing to write home about. The dessert was inedible, and sour. In all with drinks and gratuity our meal cost $400, of course this would just fine if it was worth it. We dine out at least 3 times a week, and while I have had other bad meals before this was just totally unacceptable. So I did something I've never done before, I asked to speak to a manager about it. This was the worst part of the entire experience. Yasser Fuentes the director of restaurants came out to speak to us and I explained my disappointment, explained I lived next door and have dined here many times before but this evening it was truly inedible. All he did was say it was too bad and sent us on our way. This will be the last time I dine at The Artisan and will stop recommending it as a must go to place when friends come and visit. I would think twice before eating here.

Yelp
Let's begin with a good. Beautiful view wonderful location. We ordered an old fashion which was excellent. I figured we order from the Miami spice menu were not very hungry and just wanted a small taste test for a few things. The appetizers were good and decent portions. The snapper was cooked at the correct temperature and was a great presentation. The short ribs relaxing to say the lease very little flavor and not much meat on the plate. For the lemon cheesecake my water with one lemon had more of a lemon flavor, The chocolate crunch is good, though it kind of reminded me of a cake from Whole Foods and Publix. not sure if they were short staffed or just not giving the same attention to the Miami spice menu. I will say that our server and the manager work very attentive. I would probably give this a second chance solely because of the service.

Yelp
Very good restaurant. I prefer it for brunch the most. Their food is solid, great views and fun bar tenders. This establishment aims to please, have dined here 3-4 times and all were super solid.

Yelp
This is cute little cafe with gorgeous views on the patio! I am so glad that they were open during pandemic . We had a lovely refreshing brunch at this place! They maybe a little understaffed at the bar right now but our server was warm and friendly! He gave us a lot of personal attention . During the this difficult time , a little warmth and empathy goes a long way . That coupled with socially distanced seating, gorgeous blue Atlantic in the background and amazing, fresh food is truly an awesome combo. I strongly recommend the Poke Bowl for those of you wanting to eat healthy without compromising the taste . Their burger is pretty dope too! All in all , we loved our experience eating here!

Yelp
I went expecting a great view and cocktails and left overjoyed by how incredible the meal was! We sat outside (fun boat watching) enjoying a few wonderful cocktails (and one mocktail for our nine year old), an innovative appetizer, delicious mains and attentive and kind service by Lorrie. The ceviche appetizer is a best ever-coconut milk, crispy Peruvian corn and sweet potato create a most interesting and delicious flavor profile. My filet was perfection, didn't even use the sauce. My husband's snapper was light but had delicious layered flavor profile. The service was attentive, prompt and professional. Spectacular sunset dining!

Yelp
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Never really heard much about it but when I was looking for a nice lunch restaurant to take my mom to during Miami spice. Artisan definitely caught my attention. The view is breathtaking. The service is great staff is very attentive and the food was really food. We had as an appetizer the ceviche I had the salmon with quinoa as an entree and my mom had the churrasco with fries all from the Miami spice menu. The salmon was delicious, the churrasco was a little spicy because of the sauce but still very good. Loved this place can't wait to go back and try other items in there menu. Ps. The Mango Cocktail is a MUST!!

Yelp
Great quiet restaurant located in the ritz Carlton in Miami. This restaurant has a very nice view and friendly staffs. We had the restaurant week food and it was deliciously cooked. We had the seafood crudo and grilled octopus for appetizers and steak and grilled salmon for main. They are both very delicious paired with wine and espresso martini to start the weekend in Miami :)

Yamile R.

Yelp
John Stuart and Yami Day before Mother's Day we went to Artisan Beach House for dinner and everything was an experience. The manager Pasquale Fummo was excellent , he came to our table to ask about if we were having a good time. They had a nice live music perfect with the dinner. The waitress, unfortunately I don't remember her name but I remember she is from Argentina, she was great. Absolutely Amazing.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant with Ocean View. It's inside Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Bal Harbor. I visited this place on my 2nd anniversary with my wife. We got an amazing place to sit - we were right by the ocean and sound of waves made it more serene. We are vegetarians and our attendant (Mr. Francis) guided us very well to order the food. We got Quinoa Bowl, Charred Cauli - Florets and custom made penne pasta in marinara sauce with veggies. I would like to give a shout out to Mr. Francis who not only guided us to order food but also was up for a conversation about the beaches and restaurants in Miami Beach. Upon learning that it was our anniversary, he also gave us a complimentary dessert (blueberry cheesecake) which was amazing!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from all the chaos in south beach and enjoy great food, amazing people and excellent view!

Yelp
GREAT PLACE TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER WITH GREAT FOOD! We had a great dinner 2020 Christmas Day! They had a set menu but we really came for the nostalgia of the ritz because we got married there in 2016. We had our wedding dinner at the beach house and it was perfecto. The set menu was all they were going to serve Christmas Day but we wanted something from the regular menu. After we told them that we said, " We would just have a drink and be on the way." The amazing manager Yasser came out and asked us what he could do we asked for two meals not on the set menu and they made them fresh for us. We are very grateful for the above and beyond service here. How amazing all the staff were. Thanks again for another memorable moment. Cheers to another year and many blessings to you all. Hope to be back soon!

Erica F.

Yelp
Unfortunately this establishment has gone down hill. I took my parents for breakfast and it was not up to par. The service was terrible, our waiter never came back to check on us. The food was below average, my dad cancelled his buffet order as there were no eggs for over 10 minutes when he initially went up, and the toast served had obviously been sitting there for a length of time. It's gone downhill and not to the Ritz standard.
google avatar

Ponyboi X.

Yelp
We had breakfast credit thru booking with Amex. Even though it was free but the food was actually quite reasonably priced - $20ish steak entree at a ritz wasn't dramatic. The quality was also decent. It's a ritz in the us so there's no high expectations to begin with. We shared a pastry basket but I think a lot of places seemed to have difficulty grasping the concept of a pastry basket, like, it's called a basket for a reason. Otherwise everything was fin3 and mediocre. The total came out to be like $105 pre tip with like $8 orange juice and $12 French press.

Yelp
This place you go for the view! Food is ok a bit overpriced for what you get, but was worth the price for the view. We stopped for brunch and enjoyed the Bloody Mary and iced coffee! My husband had a n omelette and myself the breakfast burrito. Service was good but a bit slow for the small crowd that was there, however with Covid-19 I think everywhere is slow with smaller staffs. This is a beautiful place the very end of Haulover Park between Sunny isles and North Miami Beach and a great place to boat watch as they come in and out!

Yelp
Went to Artisan Beach House on Saturday afternoon for happy hour and to watch the Kentucky Derby. Ordered a Mint Julep and shared a bottle of Rosé, also snacked on the Truffle Duckfat Fries. Quality The reason they were making Mint Juleps and the reason we were ordering them was in celebration of the Kentucky Derby. Unfortunately the lack of practice left them far from perfect. The drink they brought out to my girlfriend had next to no bourbon in it making it basically mint water. They then overcompensated on the next drink making it closer to a bourbon on the rocks. The wine selection was solid with lots of options at reasonable prices. Since we were there before dinner the food menu was limited to just some snacks. We ordered the Truffle Duckfat Fries, which was a decent dish. They were huge chunky fries covered in truffle and aioli. As long as you enjoy truffle the fries will hit the spot. Quantity The only food we ordered was the Truffle Duckfat Fries, which was a reasonably sized snack. The drinks were fairly sized and the cocktails had a good amount of alcohol besides one Mint Julep miss. Value Artisan Beach House has happy hour seven days a week. During happy hour they have drink specials as well as snacks for $6. For the Kentucky Derby they also had Mint Juleps for $10. We also ordered a bottle of Rosé from the wine list that was reasonably priced especially when considering its true cost. Ambiance Artisan Beach House is located in the Ritz Carlton in Bal Harbour. A quick stroll through the lobby brings you to the restaurant entrance. The restaurant has a small indoor seating area and then a large outdoor patio. When you enter the indoor area there is a small lounge area to the left with comfortable couches. In the center is a small bar along with a long high-top table. They have two televisions over the bar, perfect for watching the Derby, but don't expect anything except the main sporting event to be on. To the right of the bar were some standard tables, but it really is a smaller space making reservations a smart choice. While we were waiting for the Derby to start we sat at a table on the beautiful outdoor patio. Providing gorgeous views of the ocean, the beach, Haulover Park, and an inlet from the ocean into Biscayne Bay. It is a very busy area so it was enjoyable watching as boats and jet skis made the trek through the inlet. The outdoor patio has a good number of tables all that have wonderful views. There is limited shade, so be prepared for some heat on sunny days. The music was playing lightly in the background and was a mix of tropical house songs. Crowd The restaurant was very quiet on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The limited food menu definitely played a role, but I did overhear that the entire restaurant was booked for dinner. As the only real food choice within the Ritz it is sure to be an in demand spot for dinner. The few other patrons there were all guests staying at the hotel. Service There was an issue with the Mint Juleps, but as a strange choice it is more than understandable. The bartender was also very friendly and accommodating about it. Our waiter was a bit slow and laid back, but that was the perfect vibe for just hanging out and enjoying the views. Parking The only real choice is valet parking, but the restaurant will validate your ticket so its only $5. It is more than reasonable considering what you would likely pay for street parking anyway. Extra Artisan Beach House is a very beautiful location to relax and have a drink during the day. The only food we tried was off the snack menu so I can't really speak to the full dinner menu. However, the views and the value would definitely bring me back again.

Yelp
Beautiful room, what a gorgeous restaurant. We came to brunch on the late side so it did not seem to make sense to do the buffet, and instead chose a la carte. We were able to put together a very nice spread. I was a big fan of the eggs Benedict, it was made with turkey which was a nice twist and new for me. The potatoes on the side blew it out of the park - so good! Their fries were also amazing. We also ordered ceviche, avocado toast, steak and eggs, and oysters. All of the staff was extremely friendly and the food was tasty. I would certainly recommend eating here if you were staying on property.

Yelp
Went in with a reservation. Although, it's a little way from home it was absolutely worth it. The ambience was beautiful, the decor made you feel like you were on a beach, and the food was delicious. If you sit outside you get a view of the intracoastal. The server started us off with drinks and his recommendations were spot on. For appetizers we had the charred octopus and the Meredith dairy feta and beets to share. As an entree the salmon was a terrific choice, as well as the lamb chops. Everything was made to our liking. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
An unexpectedly good restaurant in the Ritz Carlton at Bal Harbour ran by Miami celebrity chef, Paula DiSilva. I stayed at the Ritz on a recent vacation and had several meals during my stay. Standouts are the house-made charcuterie and artisan breads. The cured meats are refined and delicious. Served with local cheese, jam and grilled bread. The bone-in cowboy ribeye is excellent and easily feeds two people. I wasn't a huge fan of the duck fat potato wedges; they could have been sliced down to make smaller, crispier fries. I skipped dessert but several options including the sticky toffee looked delicious when other diners ordered them. The views of the Atlantic from the patio dining room are spectacular. I'd come back just for the views, it is a huge bonus that the food is actually good as well.

Yelp
I booked a massage treatment at exhale at the Ritz Bal Harbour, we decided to arrive a little early to grab a bite to eat. We walked in and got sat outside right away since the restaurant wasn't very busy. The outdoor seating is absolutely stunning. The view is UNREAL. I felt like I traveled outside of Miami for lunch. For appetizers we ordered guacamole and tuna tartare. For entrees we ordered a burger and avocado toast. The food was delicious and so fresh. To drink we ordered skinny margaritas. It was my birthday so our waiter brought out a complimentary dessert. Great lunch kicking off my birthday. I will definitely be returning when I get the chance.

Yelp
Food isn't really that good, but the drinks are amazing. The server was nice but felt like they gave more and better service to the "other" people. The wait for the food is awhile and when we got there we we the only ones there. The view is nice but it was raining so I couldn't really enjoy it :(, it's really pretty and very breakfast with Tiffany-ish.. overall, I get it a two, only because I came for Miami spice but the Miami spice menu sucked and didn't have any real options.

Yelp
Last night had dinner at ARTISAN BEACH HOUSE at the Ritz Carlton Haulover. The ambience is very cool ,the service impeccable and the food amazing. Chef Paula took care of every detail and made sure we had a great experience. I will have no problem recommending Artisan Beach House to all my friends

Yelp
The food here is classy and delicious! A friend and I went for Wine Down Wednesday and were were not disappointed at all! David was amazing and made the most amazing Mango Madness. The drink specials are definitely reasonable. We ordered dessert to top off our night in Miami and got the Brioche Monkey Bread and the White Chocolate Bourbon Panna Cotta. I was more than satisfied and the monkey bread is to die for! The staff was great, the atmosphere was lovely and even though it was raining the ocean view was still breathtaking! We sat in the lounge are and it was the perfect place to talk over drinks and relax. You should definitely eat here if you are in Miami!

Yelp
Totally enjoyed spending my Mother's Day by have brunch here with my friends and family. The buffet had a great assortment of food and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. I do recommend Artisan Beach House for brunch. I had an awesome time. BTW the paella was amazing. Not a fan usually because it never seems to be cooked correctly but they nailed it. It was delicious.

Yelp
Wow, what a beautiful restaurant. Honestly it was breathtaking. What a view! Not to mention the TO DIE FOR food! My fiancé and I wanted to take his mom out somewhere to celebrate our engagement and we thought Miami Spice would be a great way to really indulge for a great price. We were actually headed to wynwood when we came across this return and we changed our plans based on their menu and view - which I am so glad about! We were greeted immediately and congratulated on our engagement. We wanted to sit outside. It had just rained but the staff moved quickly to clean up a beautiful table for us on the patio. While they did that we were able to explore the beautiful vistas. Once we sat down our serve offered us some champagne to celebrate our engagement and we felt so honored! After we toasted, we checked out the Miami spice menu and there were 3 appetizer options and 3 dinner options so of course we got one of each. The steak was AMAZING. I loved how they served it on top of the fries and it was so full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the linguine with veggies. Im not a fish person so I didn't try the salmon but the quinoa that came with the salmon was fought over at our table because it was so good! Again, full of flavor. We stuffed ourselves but we still wanted a little bit of sweets so we were grateful that the desserts were the prefect size. Definitely recommend this spot for any special occasion!

Yelp
This restaurant was somewhat slow on a Sunday morning, but the food was good and the view was great. The inlet is always entertaining to watch the boats attempt to come in or out of the river. The valet parking was somewhat inconvenient as it was so slow, even though it wasn't really busy at the hotel or restaurant.

Yelp
We d iui DMT realize it was in the Ritz until we pulled up, but wanted to check out the Ritz so it all worked out! Inside was freezing so we opted outside. Ok atmosphere. No music until I asked them to turn some on & could have used some plants around the patio, pretty bare. Expected more from the Ritz. Food was great! Had pasta mushroom dish! Drinks were a little too expensive!

Yelp
Service on the uncrowded patio was frustratingly slow. It took a while to place our orders, and then forever before we received our food. From seating to paying the check took more than two hours for our party of two. Then, my steak, which was ordered medium, came out well-done. Does the chef not know how to cook a steak or did it just sit under the heating lamp for half an hour? When we pointed this out, our server agreed with us and offered a free dessert. We told him we weren't interest in dessert, and he said he'd see what he could do. Instead, he ignored us for half an hour and then brought the full-priced check. Only after we complained (again) did he take off a glass of wine. No manager ever checked on us, before or after the issues were raised. Thank God we decided to stay at the St. Regis instead. Who would've guessed that the worst experience of our babymoon would be at the Ritz?
