Artist Block Tasting Room

We had such a great time! The wine was really great, and we loved the labels, names, presentation over all. The stewards were you able to answer all of our questions about each wine presented in our flight. We were also lucky enough to play with a beautiful bangle kitties. The space is so fun and inviting. Very upbeat with great colors and artwork. We will absolutely be back. Just a great experience overall.

Artist Block Wine lives up to its name—it really feels like a creative, thoughtful space for enjoying wine. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, making it a great spot to sip and linger. I loved how approachable the staff made the experience—they’re knowledgeable without being pretentious. The tasting felt curated but still fun, not overly formal. I’m not usually a wine person, so the flavors didn’t stand out as anything unique to me—but I absolutely loved the ambiance here. The space has such a creative, relaxed vibe that makes it worth visiting even if the wine itself isn’t your main draw. Their French picnic basket was such a fun touch and absolutely awesome—perfect pairing with the setting. I’d happily come back just for the vibe (and that picnic basket), even if the wine isn’t the main draw for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a fun and beautiful spot! The decor is modern and creative—every corner has something unique to look at, from playful donut art to bold furniture. I came for a special event that included wine tasting and Bengal cats (named Edward and Jacob—how perfect is that?!). The wine was amazing, with fun names like “Bubble Butt” that make the experience even more memorable. The charcuterie board was top-notch, beautifully presented and delicious. Service was 5-star—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. This place is truly a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves great wine, good vibes, and a little quirky charm.

A very long overdue review! In September I visited with my best friend and her husband for their private wine tasting with two kittens. We had an incredible time. It started as a private tasting with the kittens and after a little while we were taken to the tasting room to finish the rest of the flight. All of the wine was incredible and the vibes were immaculate. Naturally we both signed up for the wine club. So far we've had two shipments and they've both been great! Being able to fully customize my shipment is a major plus and all of the communication and processes have been super smooth. I've visited the winery and tasting room a few times now with various groups of people and each time has been lovely. I love seeing whatever new art has been put up. 11/10 charcuterie board. A group of 6 purchased the small board during a tasting and it was the most beautiful board I had ever seen. (Shoutout to Charlotte for her cheese choices that day!) Super reasonably priced for all of the goodies on the board too. It served us all well for a generous snack since we had food at another tasting room beforehand, but next time we'll likely get a larger board and come hungry so we can thoroughly enjoy it. We had booked our tasting on a day where an event was added last minute. Communication regarding the event was clear and prompt which we so appreciated. Had we not been hosting people from out of town visiting for the first time we likely would've switched to the event (Elf and ornament making) but we wanted the tasting experience for them. Charlotte was awesome to all of us, as were the guests at the event! Overall one of my favorite places to be and I can't wait to see Artist Block grow. Charlotte, Jessy (via email), and Britt have all been incredible to us! We've interacted with a few other women but I am totally spacing on their names but they've been lovely as well. Could not recommend a visit (and wine club sign up) enough!

Artist Block is amazing! My wife and I added them to a wine tasting itinerary because they seemed like they might offer a different spin on tasting compared to other spaces in and around Dundee. They have a modern space featuring comfortable chairs and couches and the walls are decked out in funky art by owner Anna Sweet. Britt and Jocelyn recommended amazing tasting flights that highlight the unique wines on offer from Artist Block. Along with chardonnays and pinot noirs, they also have sparkling rosés and chilled reds that make them stand out. As we lounged on the comfy couch, we were visited by Andy, the resident Bengal cat that serves as the greeter when he’s not stalking the vineyards behind the tasting room. After our first visit, we decided to join their wine club. On various visits back we’ve ridden a mechanical bull for July 4th, done bumps of caviar, and chatted with Anna about her hallmark ceramic donuts. We always have a great time, and Britt, Jocelyn and Charlotte are on hand with amazing recommendations. If you’re looking for unique wine in a vibrant, comfortable setting - Artist Block is worth a visit. This isn’t your parents’ tasting room!

This was a unique winery - basically an art gallery and winery in one! Megan was so friendly and made our experience a great one. We loved Andy the cat and trying all the wines. The wines have creative names and fun labels and taste amazing, too! Would definitely recommend this great place!

Oh my goodness! My husband surprised me with a tasting at Artist Block for my birthday and it was the best surprise ever. After checking-in in the front, they pull back a set of curtains and you enter into a beautiful art gallery! From the swanky decor to vibey music, this beautifully thoughtful winery is a dream come true. The staff were vibrant and lovely, just like the ambiance and wine. 100% coming back!

Eye candy! The space was gorgeous, comfortable, and the art made the space so fun and interesting. On top of that, the wines we tasted were so good! 10/10 recommend...

What a special find! Anna was so gracious to sit and talk with us about her passion for wine, travel, and art. Letting us love on her sweet cats was an added treat. This is definitely a unique stop to be savored and appreciated. A must see!!!

I think this is my new favorite spot, and I don't think I will be alone in this feeling. A friend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a tasting and we spent hours enjoying the art, lovely tasting room staff (Carrie and Brittany), and wines. The wines are so delicious and unique- especially if you are feeling a bit burnt out on Pinots and Chardonnays. We were greeted with a delightful PetNat, and tasted through their flight with Chenin Blanc, Blaufrankish, The tasting room is special- it's an art gallery that also feels like a cozy place to sit and chat- views from both sides and art to peruse and take home too! I can't wait to bring more friends here.

Outstanding "fresh," new addition to the Newberg/Dundee area! Finally had the chance to visit this gem yesterday evening and we could not have been more impressed. From the venue, the wines, the eclectic art surrounding you, the upbeat music, to the superb customer service from Brittany, we could not have asked for more. Even the charcuterie for 2 was generous. Out with the old, hard, stuffy dining table and chairs. In with the cozy, colorful and comfortable living room-style seating. Be prepared for a little higher than usual tasting fees (which are waived with purchases) if you want the full experience but it's worth every penny. You may also just order a bottle or glass if you'd prefer. They don't rush you out after 4 meager pours of the same varietal. Finally, a new winery doing its own thing in the area. So refreshing, and can't wait to go back!

Omg- you just have to go. This place is a sweet little surprise nestled in amid a bunch of traditional wineries. My husband and I made our way here after the usual wine tasting at another winery and when I walked into this place I didn't want to leave. This is a fresh take on a wine experience. It would be a great place to make a reservation and meet up with a group of friends. Comfortable, fun and the wine may have unpretentious names, like Yummy Yummy, but it easily competes with some of my favorite wines. They also have a variety of events worth looking into. I'll be back.

Love love love it here!!! Can't wait to bring my girlfriends for a bachelorette wine tasting. It's an art gallery, meets wine bar, meets kitty cafe with the cute new additions! How tell I don't think it gets any better than this. Yummy wine and sweet service!

This was our second time visiting, and more people need to experience this place. The art, atmosphere, and wine are all unique! Brittany is a fabulous host who is very kind and engaging! We will be going again and telling anyone who'll listen that this is the spot to go if you visit wine country

Visited Artist Block on a whim and so glad I did. The space is hip and vibey, filled with extremely fun and unique art, and of course, lots of tasty wine. Anna was very engaging (how fun to be immersed in art narrated by the artist herself!) and everyone was extremely warm and welcoming. Absolutely a must-visit on your wine itinerary!

One my favorite wineries in the Willamette Valley. The unique art, hospitable staff, tasty wines, and creative events are top-notch. They are incredibly welcoming and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We had an incredible time last night at Artist Block. Their wines are a little pricier than some but worth every penny. The art throughout the venue is delightful, and the comfy but elegant living room seating is a treat. Their concept of showing a movie on Friday evenings, with a tub of popcorn and a glass of one of their wines is yet another thing that sets them apart from the many other wonderful wineries in Dundee, in the heart of Oregon wine country. Hats off to the chef! We had dinner with wine pairings and were impressed by his creativity and the quality of each course.

The food and wine were amazing. The staff and chef were extremely friendly. It was a fabulous time and would highly recommend going.

I came across Artist Block on IG last year and was immediately intrigued to see a very different sort of tasting room - the focus on spotlighting up and coming winemakers combined with the owners own art and representation of also up and comers in the art world is refreshing as hell. The pop/street/zeitgeisty curation of mixed media art, sculptural work, photography and paintings is right up my alley. I dragged my husband to one of their Friday film series - we saw Elf with a chef prepared dinner and wine pairing and it was such a fun evening out that we immediately signed up for a few more. Brittany and Carrie who run the tasting room were super welcoming and knowledgeable. So stoked to have this less than ten minutes from our house - when we moved to Dundee we thought we'd miss city and culture. Thanks to Anna Sweet and Artist Block for bringing it to us! Now we just have to get back there for an actual tasting.
