ASAP Pizza Spot- Best pizza Astoria

Stopped for a quick bite. Absolutely delicious pizza, especially the margarita with its special sauce and fresh basil. The zeppole were magical! So light and fluffy, they are the owner's mother's recipe. A must try! I had a great meal and friendly chat with the owner. Lovely place.

Ordered two pizzas, garlic knots, and a salad with balsamic vinegar. Took almost two hours to be delivered (we’re 5 min away) stale, cold, and the salad was crushed/dropped so the oil and vinegar leaked everywhere. The delivery guy gave it to us like this. We called to complain and the person on the other line was not helpful, saying he would take care of us the next time. As IF. Please do not waste your money here.

Super friendly, the pizza guy is always nice and friendly! Great small talk and the pizza along side with garlic knots are great! For the price you can’t beat the atmosphere and the food

Great pizzeria with fresh slices or pies at very reasonable prices. The pizza has great structure and flavor. Easy to fold or hold parallel. No floppiness, greasiness or toppings falling off. Dough is great and has a nice crispiness to it and the crusts are actually worth eating. Buffalo chicken, pep, and bacon chicken slices are my go tos and high recommend trying. Service is friendly and quick, and the owner is there every day making sure you’re happy.

Best pizza spot in Astoria, hands down! The customer service is amazing, and so is the owner, Nick. I’ve been living here for many years, and he has always treated me with absolute respect and kindness and everyone else who walks through the door. I highly recommend coming here and checking out the pizza. The style is great, the portions are generous for New York slices, and the pizza rolls are definitely worth trying!

Nice hole-in-the-wall place in the neighborhood. When that pizza is fresh, those slices are great. Usually I go towards the end of the night. Nick is always a good chat when I go in and see what's available. This place also is on Too Good To Go, so that helps. Zeppoles and garlic knots are both solid. Not a lot of downsides to this spot. Stop in if you walk by!

Had the Penne Vodka pizza and OMG, it was absolutely delicious. Visiting from out of town, so many options , but we did not go wrong with this place in Astoris, NY. It was priced right, the service was great, and the tastes, AmaZing. All 5-star. And that Zeppole's dessert, we had to order another one before leaving. Greeaattt! The owner was especially nice. Visiting it.

Best Pizza Around 28th ave block. The owner Nick is very friendly and kind. Don’t get me started on the pizza. Its absolutely delicious 😋 or the mideterranean salad. Dine is cool. They got nice tables and seats with umbrellas in the summer ⛱️ its a vibe with music. I suggest you try it out

Nice place to get a quick delicious slice, the people who work here at pretty kind too and they have some good slices. I like to get mine to go as I never eat here but even for to go it's good. Highly recommend them.

ASAP replaced a Mexican Pizzeria on 28th Avenue. TBT the quality is nowhere near as good as the previous iteration, which lasted for many years on 28th Avenue. The slices and pies are decent, but this spot would never be a regular or takeout or order choice for me.

A nice little pizza joint in Astoria away from the hustle and bustle of the main aves of Astoria . Good selection of assorted pizza toppings , calzones, stromboli, salads , pasta dishes , entrees , etc. Grabbed a table for my crew , ordered a large pie , some garlic knots and enjoyed some good old school pizza . Friendly staff running the place and the many menu choices will be great when ordering takeout or delivery on occasion.. overall good pizza , good vibe and nice friendly staff , will be back and explore more of the menu .

I came here with a too good to go order, i was given chicken bacon ranch and marg slice. Service was great, very kind owner. Pizza is definitely more on the thin crust side so if thats more your speed you'll enjoy it.

This pizza almost convinced me to impulsively move to New York. But it wasn't just about how fantastic the slices tasted-- it was the whole experience. My friend and I immediately felt like we were befriended by Nick, the owner, who would occasionally interrupt his conversation to wave to people in the neighborhood. We could tell he's a meaningful presence in his community. He gave us the best seats in the house and also threw in some zeppoles for free :) Besides that-- the pizza was incredible. Melted in our mouths. Will definitely come back next time we're in Astoria.

Funky town music man. Yato digs this dude. Pizza isn't the best, but for the price combo, Yato will top it off with some salt and pepper and enjoy his adorable middle ground slice. Whatcha expecting? The Picasso of pizza? You won't get it, but it's not what I need when I come here. I want some quick and good that won't kill Yato's wallet. Other places are charging $5-$6 for shitty slices, (looking at your Gyro Uno). Mama Yato loved the pizza from here. It was her favorite. We disagreed, but she would only get her slices from here. RIP Mama Yato. Ill pick up a slice in your honor.

This place mainly serves typical New York style pizza. The pizza is passable but not great. It is too thin and somewhat dry. In other words, the pizza is not cheesy and saucy enough. It is apparent that they skimped on the ingredients - better than the cheap dollar slice places but not as good as most $3.00-$4.00 slice places. A thing that does set this place apart is that they do offer Detroit style pizza. It is a thick pizza that is served in a pan and is not something that is commonly found around here. I did not try it yet but it's something worth mentioning.

Great spot. Came here with some friends right before close on a saturday night. The place was clean and had a cozy vibe. We got a few slices and they gave us an extra slice and some zeppolis for free. The pizza was super good!

Terrible service, all around, but paired with equally terrible food. This is New York City, so my advice is to simply walk two blocks in any other direction to get better pizza.

Day trip to Astoria to visit family and they took us to ASAP. Being a New yorker but living in PA for the past few years this was much needed! Delicious pizza and zeppoles , will definitely be back anytime we come back to visit. The owner is very kind too ! Thanks again Nick.

The pizza tasted like a cardboard!! was super hungry and would have eaten anything at around 11 pm and even then I still couldn't finish the slice of pizza of bbq chicken. Husband got pepperoni pizza, even that was pretty bad. The base was tasteless, stiff, not fresh at all, the cheese tastes like a pizza that sat under heat lamp for days. I hate to butcher a neighborhood restaurant because I'm not going in expecting excellency in general but this was absolutely sad. Not worth any money spent or calorie wasted

The owner Nick is amazing. His pizza is the best in the area. The buffalo chicken slice is to die for. The location is awesome. Great spot to eat a slice and people watch. It's quiet and relaxing. I love stopping in for a quick bite. It's clean inside and the owner does very well at communicating with his customers. The mini zeppoles are great too.

Food is always delicious. The best Hawaiian and Bruschetta slices in Astoria. Nick is the nicest guy and it's great to support a local business. I've also ordered the baked ziti previously and it was perfectly seasoned.

The best thing about ASAP Pizza Spot was the quality customer service. The employee gave us recommendations and warmed our pizza with less than 5 minutes to-go. He even threw in some extra desserts! The restaurant's appearance was clean to the eye & presentation of the pizza's were also really good. Definitely recommend the New Yorker Special and Cheese Pizza if your looking for a thin-style, quick & delicious meal. I'll stay to dine in next time--the restaurant has really great ambiance and music!! 10/10 recommend

I had a drastic change of opinion from a recent delivery order.Just ordered 2 stand alone detroit slices that were overly bready-and the dough tasted raw.All 3 of my heroes were very skimpy on the fillings as well.

Pizza is gross and tastes old. Additionally they blast music all day everyday despite neighbors and community asking if they could please play at a respectful volume and get they refuse to meet halfway. Terrible addition to the neighborhood.

I love this place. Nick has the best pizza and the best service. Always a good experience. I always visit this place when I'm in town. Come and check it out you won't be disappointed.

I was born and raised in the vicinity and decided to try it out to support the local business, but unfortunately I was very underwhelmed. The pizza was very blah. It had little to no flavor, it was remnicsicant to eating hospital food. Definitely no where near as good as many other staples in the neighborhood like Gaudios or Grand Avenue. Also, I would definitely have to agree with the worker having a "sparkle" in his eye, who seemed a little off.

Mediocre pizza that can't compare to most other Astoria spots. They lose another star because of how they play loud music blasting outside in the street for no reason. Really great way to endear yourself to the local neighborhood, which is who I assume your target market should be, but what do I know.

Wonderful customer service and delicious food made with care. We are around the corner and this is our new go-to. My husband is vegan and they have a great vegan cheese. Many thumbs up!

Delicious delicious delicious! I have ordered the Mediterranean, the BBQ, the Chicken Pesto and even a cupcake from this unassuming pizza place. It is SO NICE to have these options with no red sauce. Every single one of these were amazing and the BBQ was the best version of a BBQ pizza I've ever had- not drenched in sauce to where that's the only flavor you get either. Mediterranean is made with a reasonable amount of olives instead of overwhelming the rest of the ingredients. Chicken Pesto is amazing too but I don't know what specifically makes it so- I've never had a pizza like that before and I'm a huge fan of basil so it was a match made in heaven. Cupcake was ok, but the star is definitely the pizza!!!

I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but this is the exception. First of all, the pizza is much to be desired. Try holding it and it falls apart. I like a slice with thin dough but this is totally ridiculous. . It also doesn't have much flavor if any. I loaded it up with red pepper flakes.. Even for the $5 it's not a bargain. Like my husband would say it filled a void. I also feel very uncomfortable when I went there . The proprietor seems to have issues and is weird. I will not be buying pizza there anymore , that's for sure.

I love going to this place because the worker are so welcoming and kind, I got free food and I was shown kindness. The food here is also delicious, and I can't thank the worker for giving me a slice when they were already closing. Such great ambiance too.

ASAP pizza is that spot you're looking for wether it's late night or the afternoon. Great and friendly establishment with always the right music and vibe. Delicious pizza and family friendly! Highly recommend and will keep coming back!

Service was really great! We were running behind and the owner was super understanding and patient with a Margherita pizza waiting hot and ready for us. It was truly delicious! Can't wait to order again from here.

Every single thing on the menu is so good im surprised more people don't talk about this spot! Their garlic knots are the best Ive ever had and their zeppoles are SO addicting. The chef is the nicest guy ever and makes everything with care

My niece and i wanted pizza and we got a menu for ASAP Pizza Spot and Restaurant. We decided to order the meduim worker pizza. We both had three slices each. The pizza was not greasy at all the right amount of toppings and the crust was light and crunchy. We cant wait to try the other Pizzas. The delivery was just under 30 mins. Highly recommended.

I have this pizza almost daily and happens to be the best pizza in Astoria. The service was phenomenal and there's great music.

the most obnoxious atmosphere. loud music playing outside the window allllll day and night into the streets. disturbing neighbors until late at night on weekends and weeknights. rude staff. if I could give 0 stars I would. the pizza is underwhelming and it adds nothing to the best of Astoria.
