Can’t comment about the hotel, but we dined at their restaurant for our wedding Anniversary and the food was just excellent. The view from the restaurant’s terrace was spectacular… view of the alps. Definitely will come back and enjoy food again (Michelin).

Wonderful destination near Munich with a panoramic view of the mountains. The hotel and restaurant combine Bavarian tradition well with modern touches. The food is delicious and seasonal. The only small thing to mention is that due to a nearby road the peaceful environment is disturbed a bit by the sound of the cars driving by, especially in the morning.

If you want high quality of the rooms and one of the most beautiful views when eating food and breakfast... You should try this hotel. It's lovely and you get a view of the alps.

This is a stunning family hotel 30km far from Munich, in the countryside. Very quiet place, unfortunately we stay there on rainy and foggy days, so we didn't enjoy the view or the landscape. The hotel is super cozy, the rooms are bigger than expected and very clean and comfortable. Modern furnitures and accessories are making the stay a pure experience. The restaurant inside the hotel is a medium-high level one, with an interesting selection of local specialities and a various menu. Position could be the only thing I can't rate 5 Stars, but the rest is really awesome.

We went for a coffee with cakes. I loved the Sachertorte. Very attentive service. The view to the Alps was marvellous. Was there already some years ago for a wedding, I'll go back at some point. It's a bit out of hand, but worth the visit.

This restaurant food quality and view worth the detour. Good quick service. Please note that the portions are huge so some of the dishes you can order a smaller one. The view is phenomenal if you get a seat at the terrace. I cam without a reservation and they were happy to accomodate. But still better to call and reserve.

Recently dined at the restaurant based on recommendation from a friend. If you are looking for exceptional Bavarian food with an amazing view and friendly service, then look no further! They have a great range of Bavarian classic dishes as well as a changing seasonal menu that offers the traditional seasonal offerings. For us we opted to go with the seasonal options which were celebrating the pfifferlinge (mushroom). Make sure to leave space for the Kaiserschmarrn as it was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, good rooms with views over the surrounding hills/mountains. But main asset of this hotel is the restaurant/breakfast and the view when seated! Superb!! Update 2023: after several visits I would like to reduce my score slightly. Last year I made the suggestion to put electrical chargers for cars at the hotel, since a certain amount of the guests are travellers. They sent me a letter to thank me and they would review my feedback. It is sad to see that there still wasn’t any charger. Also breakfast could be extended at this price point (no croissants).
