We purchased a $500 dining set in April of this year. It took three weeks to arrive in the States, which was expected. The unexpected part was our table arrived damaged; the table apron was snapped in half. Our experience when it came to customer service was poor. We simply wanted a replacement, not a refund; and that took a week of people with little to no knowledge on how to assist us with our issue. We got told “Person A knows more about this, call again tomorrow and they’ll help.” followed by “Person B knows how to fix this, but they’re not available today.” Half the time I got pushed to voicemail. When I left my callback information I never got a call back in those 7 days. We were the ones reaching out to fix the problem. Thankfully Lana, the store manager, was our saving grace. Once we got a hold of her, she had a game plan for us and made the return/reorder process simple. She was kind and understanding of our situation, and if she was the first person we talked to, I would have given this review 5 stars! I simply wish her coworkers could have a sliver of her compassion. It was such a headache with their lack of responsibility. I understand that it’s not the salespeople’s fault for a broken table, but it’s disheartening when these people are the point of contact for issues like ours and there’s no sense of urgency or care. Again, Lana, thank you for making our experience tolerable!

This 5 star review is just for the employee named Ying. We came in 7/13/25 to look at some couches and other pieces of furniture. I choose to use Ashley because they seem to have the best financing options. This review is not relevant to their furniture because the pieces we've bought in the past are decent. Not perfect or amazing by any means but decent. This review is specifically for Ying. She was super helpful, super informative, and very kind. Once we close on our house we'll make sure to go back specifically when she's working. She gave us the best customer and sales service I've had in a long time. Thank you Ying!

My store experience was lovely. The sales team was helpful. My delivery date was on time. The problem is that my couch was damaged on delivery. Yes, I should have refused to accept it, but the delivery tech called customer service immediately who scheduled someone to come out the next week. Well, ok. I need couch, you're coming next week. Then, they never showed. I called several times. Was told to send pictures in. I did that and was then told I had to call the local customer service because the Portland store had "just changed from national ownership". Finally got ahold of someone in Salem and again sent photos. Was told they didn't have anyone that could work in Washington, but would "soon". After more phone calls and emails, was told they'd have someone by 1/6 and they'd call. Since then, no calls. No emails. I've tried to call multiple times. I get a message each time. Sent multiple emails, again no responses. So I have a brand new couch that I can't utilize fully and no one willing to take responsibility. The worst customer service experience EVER.

This review is based on showroom viewing and sales personnel during our visit only, not on any purchases, warranties, or customer service after purchase. We were in search of a new living room furniture set and decided to check out a few furniture stores near our home. A friend of mine recently purchased a set from Ashley, so we thought we should check them out. Upon entering, a sales person (Ying) was waiting right by the front door. It was not super unusual, and she was nice and knowledgeable. She asked us if we were looking for anything in particular and pointed us in the right direction. After showing us the details on their placards, she left us to try out the different furniture pieces on our own. She did check in periodically and jumped in to show us features we didn't see. She was helpful and not too pushy, which I appreciated. Sometimes pushy salespeople can ruin an otherwise fun shopping experience. Overall, we had a nice first-time visit at this store. Would recommend.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience. We purchased a new bedroom set, but on three separate occasions, the delivery team attempted to deliver used, damaged pieces--clearly scratched, broken, and not in new condition. Each time, we refused the delivery, only to be made to wait another week, after which the same damaged pieces were sent again, often in even worse condition. This is unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience, frustration, and time away from work. They lied to our faces multiple times, promising to send brand new items, that we would be added to some VIP list so quality would be ensured, which only lead to more frustration.

First, we confirmed the specific delivery window they provided. I scheduled a half day at work so I could be home to receive them. They ended up arriving 2 hours early. Second, one couch arrived broken and the other was the wrong couch entirely. To resolve the issues, they scheduled a technician to come out and fix the broken one A WEEK from now, and for the other, "a representative will call us within 48 hours to resolve the incorrect order." For such a large furniture store, we expected better. It's so disappointing waiting excitedly for new furniture only to be faced with problems as soon as it arrives.

First, they accidentally charged me for two dining room tables and it took forever to fix over the phone. They even said they would call me back and never did. Next, I got a text that my item would be delivered on a specific date and a time frame would come soon. Never got that. I had to call them and then they told me it's delayed and I won't be receiving it and that they'll call me in about a week to set up a new day. They said they called and left a voicemail either last time or this morning which they didn't. They had nothing to say except sorry and you're not getting your furniture and we'll call you soon to get delivered... yeah... I bet I'll have to call them. Nothing like taking off of work and putting my dog in daycare for this! I wish I could rate them lower!

We went shopping and purchased 2 couches on black Friday for $999.00 each we paid $200.00 for the warranty and was told it will be delivered on the 14th. I got a text on the 4th asking to confirm for delivery on the 6th. I was so excited! On the 5th we took our old couch to the dump. We waited all day and nothing. I called the evening and was told it won't be delivered until the 11th, I said but you sent me a text she yeah I see thay but the soonest we can deliver is the 11th. We called on the 11th to confirm the delivery and found out our ordered was canceled and they still have not notified me. Was told I would be contacted in 48 hours, still nothing. Now each couch is $1499. This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Now my disabled husband and elderly mother will have to sit in the floor for Christmas. We still have not received any information and now it's January.

The store is fine - here is the kicker - do not buy from the store directly. They have a ZERO return policy for any reason at all. If you buy, for the same price, online, you not only get a return policy, but a 30 day price match, as well as a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Go to the store, look around, go home, and buy online. The fact that their brick and mortar stores have a terrible return policy is beyond ridiculous. Side note, customer service is fine for the purchase, beyond terrible after the purchase.

Bought a couch, said it would be delivered around April, it's July, and they keep saying next month, tomorrow, yesterday etc. they give you zero updates you have to spend an hour on there phone just to know if you even still have a couch coming. Just buy locally, you'll at least have less stress.

Bought side tables and chest of draws and two of the draws we're not in stale by the delivery drivers. Second from the top was stuck. The wife dried to pull it out. Fell on her butt with the draws on top of her. Called Ashley and was told I'd hear from someone in 3 business days and today(Sunday) is day 5. Not happy!!!!!

My sales experience was great, but everything since then has been HELL. The people who brought my furniture broke my storm doors, and now 7 months and a zillion calls later, I haven't gotten ANYWHERE with getting it fixed or getting money to have it fixed. The coffee table I bought literally broke when I set it down for the first time, at which point I realized that it's held together with glue, and too short screws- no wonder it came apart! Super horrible quality furniture, with LESS than zero customer service. Don't go to Ashley- it's an absolute waste of money.

I bought a sofa with the protection plan. When I called within in the time frame of the warranty and they refused to come and clean it because the grease I spilled on the arm of the sofa was considered normal wear and tear. I paid for a protection plan they are refusing to honor. I'll never shop there again.

I purchased a leather couch appx 2 weeks ago. way overstuffed and not what was presented on the showroom floor. I called the sales rep (that was an act of congress getting thru to their store), and told them. they weee. or accommodating until I demanded something be done. their response was a tech would come into my home and see what they thought, which that in itself is not acceptable but ok. that was a week ago, still haven't heard from the tech for time or day. hate being brushed off! called the store 3 times yesterday again! could NOT get thru to speak to anyone at the tomahawk store then when I finally made it through they hung me up and sent me to their service feedback survey???? I'll be dropping into theirs store tomorrow! they won't like what I have to say! I dealt with them many years ago, now I remember why I didn't go back! never again!

If I could give this place negative 10 stars, I would. My wife and I bought a chair in the store then waited 9 weeks to have it delivered. When it arrived it was flat-packed and I had to build it myself. After getting it into our space it was clear that it was not going to work for us. I brought the chair back to the store to return it and was told that they don't accept returns. Nobody had thought to mention that to us when we bought the chair. The customer service rep said she would contact the regional manager to see if she could get a special approval made. That was a week ago and I have not heard back since. I called today to see if I could find out more and was told by an automated system that I was 207th in line on their phone tree, but could wait until they got to me if I wanted. I will 100% NEVER shop at Ashley again after this experience, and will warn everyone I know away from them.

Good showroom with a variety of styles. I'm just beginning my scouting now for furniture and got a few photos of what I liked. It was fairly busy on a Saturday, so I enjoyed my browsing without interruption. Clerks were engaging with shoppers more serious than I am, so I'm assuming customer service on the initial sales is reasonable. I'll be back when I have a clue as to what we wayto achieve for our living room.

Some ups and downs with this place. First off we bought our couch during a sale, so I think we got a fair deal on what we received, so far we love it. The fabric is fantastic and so soft. So far no quality issues with what we received and we are looking forward to wearing this couch out for the next ten years! The delivery went smooth (thought the delivery folks did arrive two hours early which wouldn't be ideal for someone who doesn't work from home like me). That being said we were originally quoted delivery in June which turned into July which turned into August. I know supplies are backed up right now and we didn't have too many issues with waiting, the issue I had was the communication. I would have been happy to wait till August but would have preferred someone tell us when we purchased, "You will get this in August." You know what your production speeds are like, you know what delays are happening, Covid's been going for almost two years now sooooo... if there are delays this shouldn't be news to you and you are aware of them already, so why are you not able to quote accurate production times for delivery!?! I'd rather get an honest, it's going to take 4 months than being quoted 2 and have it take 4. That would have at least allowed us time to make other arrangements. As it stands we were forced to buy a couch on Craigslist for $75 for literally one week when our family planned to visit (as we should have already had our couch 2 months prior to their planned visit). All that being said their online support is garbage and their phone tree is ridiculous to navigate, however, once we reached a human they were very nice (although not great follow through with contacting us back and we ended up having to call them back a couple of times to get accurate timeline quotes after being told they would follow up with us). Honestly, this review would probably be lower except out of the four furniture deliveries we had.... this one was not the worst... not the best... but not the worst. So overall our experience here was probably a C+ or B- compared with our experiences elsewhere bumping this rating up to 4 stars. I'd probably use them again, but I won't trust a single delivery timeline they quote.

Can I give less stars? I ordered my couch and recliner 4 months ago and no updates but many delays. Multiple hours on hold and no follow up. The store I purchased from got me delivery for part of my delivery but couch roped and the delivery crew damaged my walls. Tried to get a refund but multiple issue after issue. I had to file better business complaint and credit card dispute to get a refund. This company is the worst company I have ever encountered and I am warning anyone in advance your dilemmas and nightmares to come.

I really wish I would have read these reviews. I feel this is the beginning of a long, annoying, BS experience. My husband and I placed our order 7/16 and were told days later that ALL but two items would be delivered tomorrow 8/13. I was told I would receive a text or email to confirm delivery. I had a feeling that may not happen so I called this morning and learned most of our items are on back order and they don't like to do partial deliveries...this place is ridiculous and the discounts are too good to be true. Update: it's been confirmed after 1hr on hold that my order will not be ready to be delivered until at least Dec 19. That is over 20 weeks after ordering. We were told that it would be delivered 6-8weeks AT MAX. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. I wish I could give 0 stars.

The delivery department sucks. The manager needs to pull his head out if his backside. The guys that delivered we're great, but scheduling 16 deliveries in a day with set-up required for most was stupid. They left at 10:30pm arriving after 8 for a 330-630 delivery time. We had to go back several times to the store to fix the order and even after delivery when we were left with a king size frame that did not go with our bedroom set. Seriously Ashley, either train or get rid of your delivery department management.

If I could add negative stars I would based off of my delivery experience. In store service was fine until we noticed Tony purchased the wrong table set so luckily looking at the receipt in the car, we were able to go back in and fix it right away. The couch was supposed to get delivered today just 2.5 weeks after the purchase date. I had to take the day off so that I would be here when it arrives. Not only did I wait in my living room all day for the door, I also called the customer service number after waiting for 2 hours into the time they gave us to confirm they were on there way. "Leslie" from AZ the shipping manager was no help to the situation and could not get in contact with the delivery driver after a "missed" delivery when I was in the room the entire day with all the windows open and never did I get a knock. Very disappointed in this service as I still don't have my couch nor know where it is. I hope this does not happen again once it is delivered

Huge fail on many levels. We spent $2800 on furniture. Ashley's promised delivery 12-19-18. Date came and went, no call .... nothing. This happens on 4 different dates. If we never call them I feel today we wouldn't have our furniture. All delivery dates not met. Finally at 10PM 12-29-18 it arrived Delivered by 2 non English speaking cubans. Left mess in road and driveway and razor blade on my porch used to open packing. Ashley's did give $100 store credit and free delivery, the money and delivery meant nothing, small gesture for big imposition, it's their perpetual failed commitments were the worst, being Christmas time was our reason party furnishings , It was all lipservice. Damage on furniture when delivered. Beware.

*24FEB20* Based on other reviews, I'm going to date stamp this review as I'm slightly concerned with the shipment of my order and how things will be handled if there is an issue. Delivery is expected within 4 weeks. I was planning on buy a small homes worth of furniture, but only browsing, not committing. Well, needless to say - I walked out with quite a bit, and extremely satisfied to boot. Sasha greeted me about 2 minutes or so after I came in the door. He acknowledge me, gave me my space and told me to ask him for any help. I begin my search and was followed up on a few times throughout the hour I looked around, all very comfortable and not pushy. I HATE pushy annoying sales people. It's like, you'll get it if you want it, right?! Anyway, Sasha was not that guy - he was pretty awesome tbh. . He was able to incorporate a good mix of seriousness, when it got down to the wire, and humor for all the spots in between. We chatted about a lot and I learned a lot, both personal and professional - it was very engaging. Total time in and out was about 3 hours. Now, keep in mind I browsed for an hour and then I spent nearly an hour finalizing options and colors, etc and then the process for checkout was close to the same. Do note I purchased over 15-20 pieces, I honestly forget, but it was a lot. So, the time is totally understandable- and as I said, he's got great sense of humor! I'm super picky and I would have walked out of that store and went somewhere in a heartbeat if I felt pressured, mistreated or harassed; but there was none of that! Quite literally, when I didn't end up purchasing a couch (the only main piece left I needed) Sasha and his Manager, Madison, both tried to push the couch a bit. However, it was as expected. Meaning, they were doing their jobs, and not in a crappy way - it was all very sociable, friendly, and relaxed. I just couldn't find anything that suited my cushion density, size, color; again, I'm very picky. Anyhow one of the pieces is going to be here within three days and the remainder of the pieces are going to arrive within a month and Sasha was kind enough to help coordinate this so that I didn't have to be at the house for multiple deliveries. Additionally, he helped save me some money! Oh and I forgot, when I was buying a kitchen set Sasha helped show me how I could take advantage of getting an additional over 20 pieces (dishwater, rug and placemats mats) for less than the price of a rug! Manager special, but I hadn't noticed the deal, I'm so glad he pointed it out! His knowledge was crazy good!! I also did the financing option, which was fairly quick and simple in the scheme of things. To wrap this short novella up, I would highly recommend purchasing from Ashley furniture at this location, and I can vouch for at least Sasha, Madison, and another lovely lady I was speaking to whose name eludes me atm. Everyone seemed very friendly though, that I met. Which was on a Sunday evening btw. Stay tuned, I'll update this review in a month!

Treated this United States Army Bet and current service member less than dog crap" After I started having issues" with all product I bought. Run away from this store. I purchased quite a few things from Ashley furniture store, paid cash; Leather couch entire bedroom set bed, mattress, and dual adjustable bed. Immediately I noticed that my leather couch would not fully retract back to where it should be leaving the couch looking very awkward. The mattress sinks as I sleep. The remote for my adjustable bed does not light up like it should. The light underneath my adjustable bed is out within a month. The entire bedroom set, the countertop paint has worn off. NOTE! I paid for warrantees on everything. When I called to have the item service man who is about 6'4" of scary nasty came out. The service man was dismissive and got angry when I pointed out what was really wrong again. It was almost like he's paid to dismiss the customer and belittle them IN their home. He got even more angry when I told him to get out of my house he would not leave. He continue to be mean and belittle me. As a former military rape survivor I should've called the police with the way he treated me but I felt stupid I let this Ashley representative in my home. I will never step foot in the store again. Ashley furniture is theimmoral, Unethical, and grotesque in their business practices.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE.. which is ongoing! We bought a big couch and ottoman both charged separately but part of the same design and when we got the ottoman we realized it's too big for the space so we began (what we thought would be a fast process) trying to return the ottoman. We're a month out from our delivery date and still no way to return the thing. We've gotten lied to several times by the customer service agents when you call.. Some of their staff doesn't even know they have a return policy! Or.. are they giving us the run around? We've taken days off work to be here for pick up only to learn day-of that they aren't coming and were never going to come. We regret purchasing anything here.. you should run away while you still have the chance!!! Or pray you never have to return anything or need customer service! F- this place.

Followup to my 11/24 review. This was a seriously bad experience with the delivery, from scheduling (including delays and really bad communication) to a delivery crew that didn't even identify themselves. They were extremely rough with the furniture, and barely said two words to me. I later learned that they signed off on "my" receipt of the furniture on my behalf without asking or even showing me the form AND indicating "no damage" -- there was damage to the woodwork on the front of one of the chairs. They also managed to strip at least one of screws holding a couch foot (I discovered this on my own) and didn't property tighten any of the feet on the couch. Crazy unprofessional. I still tipped them because they worked hard I assumed them to simply be terribly poorly training Ashley employees and don't like to take out corporate failings on line workers, but I'm now wondering if the delivery team might have been a contractor? If that is the case, I certainly wouldn't have tipped them -- but would wonder why Ashley would hire them to begin with? Ashley promptly sent me a laughable survey about the delivery: did the team explain the process before the started? Did they offer shoe or carpet protection? Did they explain the benefits and features of the new furniture? Did we receive a courtesy call at least 30 minutes prior to the delivery? Would I want this delivery team again? Are you KIDDING ME!? No, on all of the above, and whether these were Ashley employees or a contractor, Ashley showed amazing contempt for the customer in sending out nearly $5k in furniture in such a stunningly unprofessional manner. Wow. Sadly, the furniture is really nice... but we can't trust Ashley again without business. I wish I'd browsed the Yelp reviews before our purchase -- we had a good experience with Ashley several years ago, but clearly things have gone downhill.

Good luck getting anything from this store. We paid cash for a sectional and dining set Oct 2021 for a Dec 1 delivery. It never showed and they never called. Reached out and it was backordered to the end of Dec. Again, nothing. Rescheduled to Jan, and again nothing. Rescheduled to end of Jan and nothing. Tried to cancel and was told Feb 1. Sectional showed but no dining set. Now the dining set is backordered again to May. Never once has Ashley called me... worst service ever. Do not buy from Ashley

How can I leave a negative 5 review??? What a scam furniture store! First after I bought item I went online to see dimensions again and saw it was $71 cheaper on line. Also when purchased I was given 2 delivery options. One for free where item comes in box unassembled. The other $50 for it to be assembled before delivery and inspected. Well just as I suspected after already dealing with this companies horrible service it was delivered in a box. So I paid them $50 for nothing. And when call all you get is the 800 number and she hung up on me. Can never call the local store directly! Stay away!

We came to the store to see if we could pick up a sofa that we saw online, with the intention of buying it for $299. *side note, this was the cheapest out of all the sores we went to for this one particular sofa. So we get there and are greeted by Sascha, who gave us plenty of space, but also helped when we asked. We ended up getting the couch we came for for 247.50!! Ridiculously awesome price. The staff help us load the couch in our van. Great experience, I would shop at Ashley again in the future! Thanks.

The delivery men were extremely rude and put a hole in a door of a brand new construction home. Ashley Furniture has yet to return any of our calls or make any attempt to make things right. I would recommend not shopping at this store.

I was told I would have to wait 6 weeks for a purchase I placed. After 6 weeks I haven't heard from them, so I tried to call and can only get phone trees that force you to leave messages after waiting on hold. Terrible customer service. A phone call or text notification would go a long way. I have spent thousands of dollars...how about an update if the shipment is delayed....

Well..... Found what I wanted. Still standing here waiting for someone to help me. 20 minutes seems a little extreme to be standing in the same area looking at the same piece of furniture with noone even saying hi. Maybe I'm scary? Or maybe they just don't want my money. 5 more minutes and I'm out. First time I have ever been in a furniture store in my entire life where not a single person even said hi. I guess I'll shop elsewhere! I mean half an hour? Seriously? Wow. Sales 101 people.

Bought a couch in July with an 8/16 delivery. Ying only showed us available couches. They rescheduled for 8/23, 9/1, then 9/10, then 9/23 so I just canceled the couch. The distribution center said it was never in stock but Ying showed us her on stock screen so the issue is they don't keep the items you order in stock. I think they waited for my other Items then sold my couch to someone else while waiting. Love the furniture. Hate the delivery. Just pick it up yourself and save the hassle.

Our last couch finally gave out, and we finally gave in to get a new one. Walking into Ashley, we were greeted by Jamal and he listened as we expained what we were looking for. He showed us a few different options like we had discussed, and when we found one we thought was the one, he encouraged us to sit and relax for awhile. A salesman who isn't pushy yet is knowledgeable is exactly what I had hoped to work with. Even still, Jamal went above expectations. He was not happy until we were convinced we had found the couch for us. Delivery was a breeze, and the couch arrived on time and our delivery team were wonderful! They not only delivered our couch, they made sure we were happy with the placement of the couch before we signed for delivery. Overall, Exceptional customer care and professional experience. We will be repeat customers.

Moni was a great salesperson, very knowledgeable. The delivery process, however, is a joke. Delivery was set for last Monday. The delivery crew was late and we could not wait any longer so we had to reschedule as we have other things to do than sit and wait for furniture that is promised to be delivered in a fairly LARGE window of time. Rescheduling was a fiasco, on hold for HOURS. We were told we couldn't reschedule since the furniture was still on the truck and the account is locked, but it will be unlocked the next morning. We called back the next AFTERNOON and we STILL couldn't reschedule because the account was still locked. Eventually I received a call to reschedule and there was no flexibility and I could not even get an estimate about what time of day. So my WHOLE Saturday has to be free for this delivery. Fast forward 5 days to now. Delivery window stated to be 2:30-5:30pm. It is 6:15 and my estimated delivery is now 8:30-9:00pm. This is by far the most disrespectful waste of my time. ESPECIALLY after you screwed up my first delivery. YOU should be going out of your way deliver my furniture in a timely manner and AT LEAST within the window you provided. Get more trucks and drivers. Also, please tell your delivery crew that if the people are not home or are "almost home" that THOSE people should be forced to reschedule their delivery and the driver should NOT wait. This way you won't make the subsequent deliveries late. It's bad enough we have to sit around and hope our furniture shows up in a 3 hour window - It's even worse when your whole day is ruined because your time window has become SEVEN HOURS!!! I will not be doing business with Ashley furniture again and I will be sure to tell my friends and family to avoid it at all costs.

Handled everything professionally and represented Ashley better than anyone I've ever been helped by. If I owned a furniture store I would do everything possible to steal him.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GIVE ASHLEY FURNITURE ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS!! I have been waiting 6 months for my couch. I know there are shortages around the world with products and items. BUT no one from Ashley has ever called me to inform me about my couch, NOT ONCE. After a glorious 6 months of waiting, I finally got emails and a phone call my couch was finally in and it was confirmed to be delivered today! 3/31/2022!! Between the hours of 9:45-1:45pm. 1:45 passes and nothing. I called Ashley to see what's going on, just to find out that it was on a financial hold! I already paid $1500 down back in September 2021 and the remaining balance was $5k. Well, I guess after 3 months of no activity on my account, the card took off my purchase! Lovely that NO ONE from Ashley called to let me know until the day of delivery!! I even got a call the previous night informing me about the confirmed delivery for the next day....BOY was I surprised to find all of this out. ZERO communication from anyone to let me, the customer, know any UPDATES on what was going on. I would rate them a negative if I could. I have called them and now waiting for a "new" delivery date after everything has been cleared on their end. I'm expecting that to fall through also, since this company has been nothing of a joke. I'm warning all of you planning on getting anything from them to expect no communication and no furniture. Here I am, 6 months, no couch, have to borrow a buddy's couch once again and everyone from Ashley not caring. They are just concerned about that sale. When you walk out those doors of Ashley Furniture and you've foolishly made a purchase, you're on your own. Good Luck and may my history with them be a cautious tale. UPDATE: So after dealing with all that BS. They gave me another delivery date of 4/14/2022. BUT...just received another call from them saying, now it's looking like sometime in May, but they are going to try to contact someone to get it sooner....yeah right. So in a span of a week, I got a confirmation with emails and a phone call that my order was coming in today, 3/31/2022. Didn't receive my order today, So I CALLED THEM to find out what's going on. After that gets fixed (it was an issue on their end) I got a new date of 4/14/2022. An hour later, I get a call saying it's going to be in May now. At this point, I just have to laugh or I'm just going to start screaming. History of my purchase with Ashley Furniture: September 9/22/21: Purchased couch October 2021: No word-Assuming it got pushed November 2021: No word-Contact them, it got delayed. December 2021: No word-Contact them, it got delayed. January 2022: No word-Contact them, it got delayed. February 2022: No word-Forgot to contact them...doesn't matter. March 2022: Got an email and a phone call saying my order is in and confirmed a date. No order shows up. Contact them, fix issue. New date for April 2022. Another call same day, order is delayed, looking at May 2022. Probably will get my couch sometime in the year 2035...if I'm lucky.

Customer service number, that is the ONLY way to get through to a real person is like a lottery win! We could not get through to an actual person at the store in Portland, Ore. that we purchased furniture from. The customer service line is the worst I've dealt with. Begged! To speak with their corporate office and was given one # that was their own & another that was not a legitimate number. When asking theChat person online to call me ... I was texted that that would not be possible. We bought the furniture on a Sunday & by that same week on Tuesday.. our order & delivery was a hot mess. Trying desperately to reach anyone with the number available to the store was impossible. Literally. My husband had to miss 3 hours of work waiting on a delivery that ended up being 2 bed pillows. Not the living room furniture we were told was coming. At this point... we are waiting for delivery & to see if what we ordered will actually be delivered.

UPDATE: After three more attempts to obtain the missing furniture, we finally have it. Now, I'm sitting at home waiting for the desk we ordered to show up (after confirming delivery date and window) and just found out they canceled the delivery. Zero communication and eight hours of vacation time I can't get back. I've called customer service and my call was disconnected three times. It's baffling how terrible Ashley furniture has become at providing very simply customer service. Beyond Frustrated. I've spend over $12,000 at this location within the last 5 years. I purchased a dinning set with a TV stand October 2020. The TV stand is missing it's shelves. I've talked with three different people at the store including the store manager and was promised returned calls and even a gift card for all of the issues. I've never received a call back and never received the gift card. I've shown up to the store two times to speak with the manager directly. All I get are broken promises. Meanwhile they have all of my money and I'm left with non-functional furniture. I was stupid and gave them another chance and purchased an office desk a few weeks ago. I still have no clue when the furniture will be delivered and my messages have gone unanswered. DO NOT buy from this location. They used to be the only place I'd go but something changed. Spend your money somewhere else. If/when I have an update I'll update my review.

I am shocked at how they treat their salesmen. They are paid entirely on commission, no salary or benefits of any kind. They won't even pay for business cards for salesmen--the salesmen have to buy them. I won't shop at a place like this, that mistreats employees.

The in-store experience is great - everything after that goes downhill FAST. We were specifically told at the store to "call ahead" at the warehouse so that our furniture would be ready for pickup right when we got there. When we got there, the receptionist didn't seem to remember my call and we waited for 20-30 minutes for the warehouse workers to get my table. I also purchased a sofa and paid for home delivery. Simply scheduling the delivery was a huge pain - I received voicemails confirming one drop-off time and then was told a different drop-off time when I called to follow up. The confirmation calls continued all the way up until the day before delivery, which is confusing and makes me feel as though they aren't recording things properly and/or are lazy. I probably called to "confirm my drop-off time" at least 3 times. Confusing. Delivery day went horribly. They called me at 8:30 and said they would be out front in "15-20 minutes". The van arrived at 9:20 and then they had trouble finding my address (my apartment is literally right off a main road, it's not difficult in the slightest). I spent another 10 minutes outside flagging them down. Not to mention, the delivery truck driver was nearly impossible to understand over the phone. Once they (finally) got inside, they said they could not fit the sofa into the elevator. Side note: the night before, I fit an even longer/larger sofa (my old couch) into the same elevator BY MYSELF!! BY. MYSELF. Despite explaining how they should maneuver the sofa to make it fit, they refused and just took pictures to prove to Ashley Furniture that it "wouldn't fit". There was little to no effort to reposition the sofa to make it fit, despite my plea that they try. I also showed them a stairwell, which (without actually trying) they said was too narrow and essentially told me the delivery was impossible. Again, all this comes after I successfully moved all my belongings (AND A SOFA) into my apartment a week ago with relative ease. Not to mention, I was able to fit a sofa into that d*** elevator by myself. So, to me, it just seems the delivery drivers didn't want to do the work and were lazy. NOT a satisfied customer
