"Asian-Mart is a great little Asian market on Calle Ocho that has all the things you’d expect at a great little Asian market: snacks, candy, dumplings, noodles, soju, homemade kimchi, and lots more. But there's a bonus in the back of the shop: an excellent little boba spot called Hotline Boba. The little Korean-style boba counter serves drinks like Korean banana milk, peaches and cream boba, Vietnamese coffee boba, and more. Asian-Mart also has an instant ramen bar—you just grab one of their options, fill it up with hot water inside the shop, and you can eat it on the go, or grab a seat in their backyard." - Ryan Pfeffer

Stepping into Asia Mart in Burnsville feels like walking into a beloved neighborhood sari-sari store back home - only bigger, brighter, and brimming with a world of Asian flavors. Their selection is impressive, from fresh produce to microwavable ready Pinoy meal favorites to hard-to-find spices, sauces, and snacks. But what truly sets Asia Mart apart is the warmth of its people. The staff is not only knowledgeable but friendly—always ready to help you find what you need. It’s a place where Pinoy's hospitality shines through—genuine and joyful. I highly recommend it for the food, the finds, and the feeling of belonging.

A true gem in Burnsville! Asian Mart is my go-to Filipino store in Minnesota, and every visit feels like coming home. The selection is solid—everything from fresh pandesal, Davao suman, and sinigang mix to hard-to-find snacks and pantry staples that bring back childhood memories. But what truly sets this place apart is Kuya Watson, the owner. He’s warm, welcoming, supportive, and just one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll meet. You don’t just leave with groceries—you leave with a smile and a little bit of that Filipino hospitality that makes your day brighter. Whether you’re Filipino or just love Filipino/Asian food, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Salamat, Kuya Watson, for creating a space that feels like family! 🇵🇭

Great place to shop for some Filipinofoods and stuff. They have hot foods too. But it’s to far from me I’m from Champlin and it’s like 45 minutes drive. So I only go here once in a while. But I buy a lot and just put everything in the freezer. Try it out it’s cool. And they have balik bayan box and great people.

They write cheaper prices on items than they actually ring up for, do not shop here, cheating people

Perfect satay. Sweet, salty, and burned (in the best way possible) - served by the most charming, welcoming staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I found this place when I was looking for a few ingredients that my regular store didn’t carry. Then I met Watson - a friendly, curious fellow who helped me find my items. He then starts handing me things to try from the kitchen. A skewer here, 5 spice beef there - the things that come out of that kitchen are redolent and splendid. This place deserves more attention as an emerging pantheon of amazing flavors in the south metro.

Nice little store. Balikbayan Boxes are $10 each.

Stopped by after work today and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a deli/small restaurant with a few sweet and savory options. Lots of filipino frozen food offerings (ie longganisa, pinapaitan, chicken inasal, etc.), snacks, condiments and filipino canned goods. They even had some goods from what looks like Valerio's in Chicago which is convenient! Staff was friendly. The deli was nice. Had a few options on their menu. I got some bbq skewers, lechon kawali and mango sago. They also had a whole fried pompano that I regret not getting. At any rate it was all tasty. Definitely at the top of my list of filipino markets here in Minnesota.

Yelp
Excellent Filipino market with a delicious deli Friday through Sunday. It's pretty small and easy to miss but don't let that deter you! They've got pretty much any SE Asian pantry item you could want in addition to loads of snacks, drinks, and frozen foods. The owners are insanely nice, helpful, and willing to answer any questions you have. I'd called a few times to ask about their, very rotational, grilled squid. After not calling for a few weeks they even called me yesterday to let me know they'd have it all weekend! Speaking of... It's amazing. Really nice grill flavor with a lightly sweet BBQ sauce that's not slathered on. It's stuffed with peppers and some garlic, red pepper, and some herbs that keep it moist and add a lot of flavor. It's huge and lasted me two meals. Very tender and not too chewy like a lot of places. Perfectly cooked. I'll definitely get it next time it comes around. They've got Halo Halo, pan de sal, and loads of other house made desserts to go with the lechon, whole fried fish, and other deli foods. I'll be back soon since there are too many options for only one or two trips!

Yelp
Just discovered this hidden gem - a Filipino market! Asian Mart is located in a little strip mall. I went here on a Saturday during the day and there was plenty of parking available in their private parking lot. There was only a couple other people inside the market. There were social distancing markers on the floors too. There is a pretty decent variety of items from the Philippines and other products from Asia. They also have some fresh baked goods and foods like barbeque, atchara, hopia, and more. Make sure to look at the expiration dates on everything you buy because I did notice some expired things. Overall so glad to have discovered Asian Mart and will definitely be back often!!

Yelp
Not coming here again. Overpriced and they make you purchase $10 worth of items or refuse service

Yelp
My Filipino friend told me about this place. I cannot believe I drove 20 minutes to get here but it was worth it. It is a Filipino market packed with produce from Asia. There is a mini deli in the back store with a small open kitchen. I did not get a chance to look into the what they got back there but they looked delicious. I came here for their Pork Buns, I was told you cannot find this brand in other Asian stores and it is true because I checked out Sun Foods, a bigger Asian Market, in the cities and they do not stock them. These delicious buns are too die for. You can buy a bunch and freeze them for later. Also their salted duck eggs is a must. It comes in a container of six purple colored eggs. Well that is all I came here for, those two items, and I was a happy customer.

Yelp
My Wife and I just moved here from Southern California and we're very happy that there's a Filipino store that sells most of the products that we like to buy and eat. The owner and his staff are very nice and friendly. They also serve Halo Halo and it was really good. Makes me miss home. Thank you for having this store. We will definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
A very disappointing experience there... 1) Queso de Bola purchased for $8 - was assured by the cashier that it was not expired (due to no expiration date on packaging), 2) fan needed in back of store as everything smells of old oil from cooking and smoky. After I got home, I emailed www.magnolia.com.ph and gave them all the numbers on the outside and inside of the packaging - they said it expired March 2019 - such a treat to buy something that expired and meant to be enjoyed over the Christmas holiday!! There are more in the store and I'm sure they are expired as well. This is in a location better than Phil Oriental Imports (789 University Ave W, St Paul, MN 55104) but I'd prefer to Phil Oriental Imports due to the quality of what they sell.

Yelp
Great selections and the people are very friendly too! I would recommend this place, especially if you're new to the area.
