"Try the pad thai two ways with the original and the crispy pad thai with layers of added texture through deep-fried wonton strips, or the kuaitiao khua kai (wok-fried rice noodles with chicken, egg, scallion and romaine lettuce). Then ice-cold glasses of Asian fresca mocktails in mango and mint or lychee and ginger flavors are a balm in our Texas heat wave." - Didi Paterno

We come here at least every few months or so. We love the sushi options as well as the food. There is always plenty left over for us to take home in a box and eat later. Real nice experience - family friendly. Great place. They also have a bar - but we didn't sit over there. You can just order drinks from your table.

Google
Nice ambiance and good customer service. Portions are large enough and would definitely recommend it if you like spicy food.

Katya Nguyen

Google
Portions are massive! I never leave here hungry. Food is pretty good, I have been to other Asian Mint locations but I think this may be the best one. Drinks are good here too. Sushi is....mediocre, though it is a dinner only option anyway. Service is always on top and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food (it is mostly a Thai place), though it is going to be fusion so it's not "authentic". Still tasty, prices are fair. A solid B+ for food.

Google
No complaints about service. Food arrived quickly, we had two people serving us. Food was excellent! Bathroom was heated too, a pleasant surprise.

Shannon McLeod

Google
Food was excellent and service was initially good. Me and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant and after receiving my appetizer and drink my server disappeared and I wasn’t checked on again. I had to go to the bar to just cash out. I left and went somewhere else which makes me sad because the food was amazing.

Google
Oooo lettuce wraps were hot 🥵 Crab Rangoon could’ve been a little more crispy but still delicious 😋 Service was good although they don’t have a happy hour during lunch time nor do they have a lunch menu Food is good overall and I’ll be back for sure ✌🏻 Edit: came back to order one of my faves (Basil fried rice with shrimp) 🍤 😋

Google
If you like spicy (or if you’re Asian that loves spicy food) choose level 4/5 Level 4 is not that spicy at all. So we requested more chili 🌶️ The pad Thai is full of flavor and curry taste good! 🥰 We enjoy having custard with rice for dessert.

Google
We keep coming back to Asian Mint mainly because of their Thai Basil fried rice. It’s unlike anything we’ve tasted at other Asian restaurants - full of flavor, spice and “umami”. I really wish they increase the quantity to a little more because we devour this in seconds and it’s never enough. Also tried the fresh summer rolls with shrimp. Although it was good, I was a little disappointed to see that they used only 3 shrimp pieces sliced in halves and placed it over 6 rolls. The spicy tuna crisp with seaweed salad is a 10/10

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place! I often visit for lunch and sit at the bar by myself. Service is prompt and everything is delicious!! I particularly enjoy the shrimp summer rolls, that peanut sauce (with added chili sauce) is so good. The chicken and shrimp basil is huge and delicious. The broccoli is usually on the crunchy side, which I enjoy but not everyone does. It has the flavor profile of pad kee mao. Can't go wrong with the original pad thai or the pad kee mao. Green curry is so good!! Usually enough to take home with an extra side of rice.

Yelp
First time to Asian Mint. 4 & 1/2 stars. All 4 of us really enjoyed our food selections. The restaurant was clean , bright , and decor was nice. Pleasantly surprised with flowers outside and inside. Restaurant was busy 1:00 Sunday . Plenty of waiters and kitchen run well . Our food : Crispy Red Snapper with broccoli , baby bock-choy , and red bell pepper. Grilled Salmon with teriyaki sauce, broccoli and rice . Pad See lew. wide rice noodle, black soy, egg, broccoli and bok choy. My choice was Asian vegetables Stir fry with Bok choy, cabbage , carrot, snap peas, mushrooms, white onion , green onion, and bamboo shoots . I chose the white meat chicken which was very tender and the sauce was light with a lots of flavor . Very large portion . Leftovers ! This is the first Asian restaurant that truly satisfied my love of vegetables . We did have the green tea ice crème cake. Cake tastes a little like matcha . It was large slice for 4. Planning to go back again very soon. Food was very fresh and not hidden with too much soy sauce. Fish was fresh not fishy . They have good Asian beer choices and the ice tea unsweetened Passion berry is really good . Looks like they have a few locations as well . The Forest lane one

Yelp
The total experience was great. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Offered suggestion on my entree which was delicious. Food was hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean and had a bright ambiance.

Yelp
Phenomenal service!! Location is nicely decorated, clean and organized, staff is super attentive to the point where each of them came to greet my at my table. The guest next to me recommended I get the Butterfly Pea Lemonade, and the server did as well. It was beautiful to look at and tastyyy! The server was kind enough to pour for me so I could take pictures lol Ordered the Tofu Stir Fried Rice and the serving was enough for 2, generous, colorful with veggies, perfectly seasoned and came out within about 5 minutes of ordering it! Service is superb, the food is great! Desserts menu looked sooo appealing I couldn't pass up! Went with the Cashew Caramel Cheesecake and OmG it's delicious ~*.*~ My server was talking about their other desserts and even brought me a sample of their Green Tea Ice Cream, and it also was superb! I mean.. wow all around!! They have multiple locations throughout the city, and the guest next to me told me each place is just as great, and consistent. That's great to know and will be back for sure!! Kudos to the team for their fabulous service :)

Yelp
Great food, great drinks and great service. Some of the best service I've had locally. The crabmeat in the fried rice was sweet and plentiful. Soft shell crab was crispy, tasty and served with a great sauce. I also ordered the mango sticky rice which was perfect! There was also a live band playing some great music. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
We have been going to mint and for a very long time. We are a family of 6 and have enjoyed the meals as well as their service. However this time around we were seated promptly and drinks ordered, so far so good. Mind you this was a Friday night and at 7:30 pm after the dinner rush., not so busy. After about 20 minutes, the waiter finally came and asked if we are ready to order. Everyone ordered their usual except for my grandson. He decided on the chicken wings that they had on special, the picture looks good and seems like a good choice. I had the chicken and shrimp dish and had asked it to be spicy. The meals came out and the chicken looked great, menu stated "A tantalizing fusion of zesty Thai flavors and classic wing perfection. Flavorful and utterly addictive, these wings will take your taste buds on a delicious journey.", my grandson took a bite and he was totally disappointed, it was pure sugar. He gave me one and holy cow, it was say he stated. That was disgusting, I mean who cooks chicken with that mush sugar. I guess they use the sugar to caramelize the chicken, never again. My chicken and shrimp came out and, looks great, but after stirring and mixing a bit, I found 2 pieces of shrimp and big chunks of broccoli and some minced chicken. Well chocked that up to not order again. The rice came and wow, it was just a little dollop of rice, usually it was a good amount for a single serving. As everyone finished I asked for the bill, took awhile to get the waiter attention as he was busy chatting with another employee. I finally got the bill and looked it over and saw that they had add 20% gratuity, which came out to over $32 for a service that was subpar. We have been there many times and had never had that happened. We always had good service and food, but today's was rather disappointing to say the least. I tip well as long as the service is good and most of the time I give cash. I know that there are many restaurants that automatically adds gratuity, but we are 4 adults and 2 children and have never been forced to tip. I don't like being forced to tip especially if service was subpar.

Nicole F.

Yelp
This was the best pad Thai ever. Highly recommend. The staff is friendly and the to-go order is quick.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Got our order for takeout. The calamari is excellent. Tom Yum Noodle is delicious. Orange chicken is the best I have ever had!

Valerie V.

Yelp
I've had my eye on this restaurant for a long time now. Well today was the day to finally try it. Service was quick & friendly. We tried the shishito peppers, dumplings and papaya salad with shrimp. We ended off on a sweet note with the cashew cheesecake & it was big enough for two. All delicious and quick service. I love the modern decor its open & bright which makes it a great lunch spot.

Victoria S.

Yelp
So I didn't get food from here but my friends did! Glass noodles with beef and glass noodles with chicken! They also got kids chicken fried rice! Outstanding. Great portions and apparently staff is super nice. This is a frequent spot when we are in the area! Would always recommend

Celia M.

Yelp
We had shishito peppers, tulip dumplings, coconut soup, and teriyaki chicken. The peppers were blistered perfectly but had very little taste. The tulip dumplings were wonderful! Lots of filling of chicken, pork and vegetables! The coconut soup was lacking. The broth needed more flavor but the chicken was very tender. The teriyaki chicken was superb! Again the chicken was tender and full of flavor. The meal was really good and the presentation was exceptional!

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Ordered the Crazy Roll, Pad Kee Mow, Shrimp Rangoon, House Fried Rice and the Pad Thai Woon Sen. I honestly didn't think I'd like the Crazy Roll, but it tasted so good and I highly recommend getting it! Got the Pad Kee Mow with chicken and it was full of flavor. I'd order this again when I go the next time. I've had the Shrimp Rangoon at many places and this is hands down my favorite place to get them I cannot put into words just how good they are! As far as appetizers go, I'd highly recommend getting this at least once even if you don't want to try any of the others. The House Fried Rice was good, but nothing I'd rave about. The only thing I didn't particularly care for is the Pad Thai Woon Sen. It was dry and not as flavorful as I thought it would be.

Rosalee C.

Yelp
Was disappointed in the noodle texture of my original pad thai ($15) because the noodles were all broken into small pieces and were kind of a mushy texture (maybe overcooked or too much water?). It was nice that the dish automatically comes with shrimp, chicken and tofu. The chicken was too dry, but the tofu tasted great. The service was very friendly, and the menu has a lot of options which is great for a group and/or people with dietary restrictions. Overall I was disappointed, but if my friends wanted to come back again, I would give the original pad thai a shot again (and sub tofu for the chicken).

Yelp
Asian mint is a must whenever I'm in the area. My sisters and I love their food! Over the years, we've had their takeout and gone to other locations they have but this time we dined in at this specific location. It was very nice, the green vibe, gives a trendy feel. Service is very attentive and very prompt. I got my favorite Pad See Yu and it is always a 5/5 here at Asian mint. It's delicious! Would highly recommend this if you crave Thai cuisine!

Marc G.

Yelp
Very cool concept; a "fresh food" take on Thai. The space is clean, airy and has a nice vibe. We were a little disappointed; the reviews all mention great sushi, but don't say that sushi isn't available at lunch. We came at lunch. Oh well, no sushi for us. The seared veggie dumplings were awesome. I didn't care if they had meat or not; they were very fresh tasting and delicious. The shrimp rangoons were a great take on the Chinese food classic; however, they were super hot (temp-wise) and a bit tongue burning. Once cooled, they were excellent. The Tom kha gai was a huge bowl of soup; but, again, served at a crazy high temperature. It took 5 mins before we could approach it. Once cool, all it needed was a little lime to make it perfect. The standard Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp was great. Big portion, fresh ingredients. The "crispy Pad Thai" replaced the rice noodles with fried wonton crisps. A very neat take on the dish; the portion was way too big to finish. They do not bring out the standard trio of Thai spices when you ask; they bring the chef/owner's proprietary sauce that was a take on standard thai chili sauce. I would have appreciated an option to amp up the spice with the traditional spice tray. Overall, a good lunch at a good price. Recommended for thai food.

Yelp
I went here to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday. We enjoyed some fabulous appetizers. The fried calamari, crab Rangoon's, and the shrimp spring rolls. All of which were so good. Then for entrees we got orange chicken, tulip dumplings, cashew chicken, and chicken fried rice. We all devoured our food. Definitely worth it.

Taqoya W.

Yelp
Came here to grab dinner to go and man oh man was I highly impressed with the crab fried rice! Hands down best rice I've ever had. It was so flavorful 11/10 would recommend

Cassidy S.

Yelp
YUM! The first thing that I noticed was the amazing service that I received!! My drink was never empty, as soon as I put down my menu- someone was there to take my order, and everyone was so friendly! It was busy the day I went, and I understand why because it was a great space to sit and have a nice lunch. The food came out fast, and I did not have to wait for a seat. I ordered the dumplings and the pad see ew. Both were delish and so big! I definitely went home with enough leftovers for another meal! It was a great experience, and I will be going again.

Marcel H.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with colleagues. We are all from out of town and staying at a nearby hotel. What a cool little restaurant! Folks here are very nice and the place has a cool look. Food was great and fresh. We ordered a variety and shared. Everything came out quickly and the prices are also very good. I would recommend this place if you are nearby and need some sushi or Thai food. All good!!

Steve F.

Yelp
Really great food, super friendly folks, clean clean clean establishment. I'll be back for sure.

Eugene L.

Yelp
First timer here! I know about this place and never stopped, don't ask me why when your use to going to a particular spot that is what you lean towards. Love the decor and the service was very good. I ordered for take out. I was ready to get home and get out of the weather. I gave it three star rating, it was not because of the taste of the food it was good but what I found in the food. There seems to have been a piece of plastic bag I was chewing on before a minute before removing it from my mouth. If it weren't for the that I am sure I would have given it a 5 stars. It those little missteps that will hurt.

Jo L.

Yelp
Great Thai place! I met chef Nikki, founder and owner and you can definitely taste the passion in her menu! Service was amazing and the plenty of things to try!!!! I had a sample of many dishes and all were well flavored. If you like spicy make sure you tell them. They have a thanksgiving menu as well if you are looking to do something different! I really loved the flavor of her yellow curry and the Tom yum soup (not pictured) among the dishes we had. Those are my top picks from my visit. :)

Lynley L.

Yelp
Food always good, every time. Service is generally quick, 10 minutes or less. Clean restaurant.

Mike T.

Yelp
Great Thai food, which came out quickly. Fair price and good & quick service. I would definitely go back again.

Richard L.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and found this gem. Fresh ingredients and nicely presented. The wait staff was attentive and never far away. I ordered the summer roll appetizer and the pad thai. I was expecting the usual and was surprised with the best of each dish that I have ever had. Did I mention how fresh the ingredients were? I can't understate how fresh and abundant with flavor both dishes were. I have a few more days here in Dallas and I will be back again.

Rashard H.

Yelp
This place is one of my go to places in Dallas. From the amazing food options to the impeccable ambiance. The amazing workers strive to make certain that you have an amazing dining experience. From the chicken fried rice to the delicious Lychee Cocktails(which has a KICK), you can't go wrong!

Briana M.

Yelp
I enjoyed the green papaya salad here. The food is always fresh and prices are fair. Great spot to meet friends for lunch.

Marina R.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to visit but service is always hit or miss. Once I was trying to use the restroom and the waitress (short older lady with glasses that are secured with a strap around the neck) chased me telling me to pay . I'm hoping it wasn't racial but I couldn't help but assume. By my bank statements I'm there at least once a week, this really hurt my feelings and caused me to prefer to go orders vs dining in...

TK M.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing service. Even if something is not right, the team will fix it with a smile. We got free ice cream for our kiddos bc they just felt like it

Susan M.

Yelp
Everything is amazing. Just go!!! Food, especially sushi (in the evenings), servers...Even to go is top notch!

Hannah L.

Yelp
Pricey but tasty! The owner has a lot of accolades, and presentation of food is A+. Service is quick and on point too on a Wednesday at noon. Plenty of parking. - Spicy Tuna Crisp (3) $12.45 - bomb! My dad thought it was a little fishy, but I think the sauce and seaweed masked it. - shirataki Pad Dee Mow w/ Chicken - $15.95 - 0 net carb noodz. For 4/4 spice, it sure does pack a punch! I respect a place that stays true to their spice. I liked the bounce. Generous amounts of tender chicken. - Crispy Basil Sea Bass ($29.95) - super pricey for a small portion of filet... We're used to seeing a whole fish (head and all) when it comes to Thai places, so we didn't expect this. We probably wouldn't have ordered it if we knew and the sauce was much more glutinous then I would've thought. - Hot Ginger Tea $2.75 - Soothing and stronger ginger taste. i liked it better than the green tea.

Karissa S.

Yelp
So good! I grew up eating thai food in the pacific northwest and am so impressed by their drunken noodle, tom kha soup, and green curry. Everything is flavorful without being so heavy handed with fish sauce like typical southeast asian food. When talking to our waiter, he advised they dont use fish sauce as the base for their soups which is awesome. Their food tasted clean and the drunken noodles wasnt oily like at most thai restaurants . My son had the orange chicken which he didnt like (picky boy!) But everyone else at the table loved it. The green curry loaded with bamboo shoots and eggplant was divine! Just spicy enough to add extra flavor, and not spicy enough to hurt your mouth or mask the flavors. I am more of a massaman or pumpkin curry person myself, but wow am I glad I tried their green curry. I will definitely order it again. One warning, their pad thai didnt have the traditional pad thai taste I was used to. Tamarind was the overwhelming flavor, and as others said it was just okay. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! The wait staff was friendly and in interior clean and bright. This will most likely become my favorite thai restaurant in north dallas

Liz R.

Yelp
Food is consistently delicious, service is warm and friendly and attentive. The coconut soup is so good.

Irene V.

Yelp
My sister-in-law was raving about this place, so we decided to stop by for dinner. It has a nice little patio, but we opted to eat indoors. The decor is cute and it has a nice, open dining area. The server was friendly and our food came out quickly. I ordered a Butterfly Pea Flower Limeade and it was beautiful to look at and very refreshing. Not overly sweet, which is a big plus for me. My sister-in-law got a Thai tea which was really good as well. We started with the Spicy Tuna Crisp and the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings. Both were good, but not great. The dumplings were a bit mushy, so I would definitely go with the fried version. The Papaya Salad was light and refreshing. It had good flavor, and noticeably fresh ingredients. The Chicken Pad Kee Mow was flavorful and a very generous portion. It almost made me wish I had gone with my original choice of the Pad See Ew. Definitely next time! I ordered the Asian Noodle Salad and it was everything I wanted and more. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. The ratio of veggies to noodles was perfect. The dressing was sweet and tangy, and I'm actually already craving it again. I'd recommend it if you're in the mood for a salad. Also, it was a huge portion, so I wasn't able to finish it all. You've been warned! The Red Curry was the star for me. It was easily one of the best versions I've ever tried. My husband loved it, but complained that he wished they served it with more white rice. It was a pretty big bowl of curry, especially relative to others we've had. Finally, the Mongolian Beef. It was great! The flavor was on point and not overdone. The veggies served with it were cooked perfectly and it tasted clean and fresh. We tried ordering the Mango with Sticky Rice, but they were out of mango. Such a bummer! Nothing else was sounding good, so we decided to just go elsewhere for dessert.

David L.

Yelp
Always enjoy coming here. Great service and food. We are waiting for another two people in our party of four and they've been gracious about getting us drinks and appetizers while we wait.

John J.

Yelp
My daughter and her fiancée really enjoy Korean cuisine and recommended we try Asian Mint (Forest and 75). While there were highlights, there were several disappointments. Online ordering is fast and easy. Curbside pick-up is an option! I received a text message the food was ready at the exact minute they had estimated. So far so great. It would be nice when ordering if you could select a spice temperature rather than remembering to add it to the comments section with text. The original Pad Thai was very good (chicken and tofu with beef), but the Pad See Lew with the wide rice noodle was excellent. The only issue we had with the Pad See Lew is that we requested "spice level 1" and it came out much hotter; really too hot for my wife to enjoy. The Grilled Teriyaki Salmon was a big disappointment. It was way over cooked, dry, and tasteless. If I was in the restaurant, I would have sent it back - something I rarely do. The accompanying sticky rice and vegetables that came with the salmon were perfectly cooked, however. The biggest disappointment was the Spicy Tom Yum soup. We had a bowl with chicken and a cup of the soup with shrimp. Both were pretty tasteless. Sort of like weak bullion without much flavor and we poured out most of it. For us Asia Mint was just too inconsistent - at least at this location (probably a 2.5 rating).

Brett B.

Yelp
Our favorite Asian place in the DFW metroplex. Always top quality and delicious. Very reliable. Just wishing there was one closer to my house!

Tina D.

Yelp
I only got desserts. I got the green tea ice cream cake and caramel cashew cheesecake. My favorite was the cheesecake. They also had strawberries too. It was delicious. The green tea one was my friend's favorite. It definitely has the green tea taste and it's a little bit sweet. If you don't like authentic green tea flavor or slight bitterness then I recommend the cheesecake.

Ashley W.

Yelp
The food and restaurant are suburb! The chicken and shrimp pad this so good! They give a large portion as well. Great for sharing or taking home for leftovers. I also ordered the vegetable spring rolls. They were perfectly fried, crunchy and not greasy. The resturant was very clean and in great shape. I definitely will be coming here again.

Veronica S.

Yelp
Asian Mint is so good! My favorite menu item is the Basil Fried Rice with beef. I've never eaten inside the restaurant, but the online ordering is really easy. It's always ready at the time they say it will be! I would highly recommend Asian Mint to anyone who enjoys Asian fusion.

Kim N.

Yelp
Takeout was phenomenal! Ate here twice and both times were very yummy! Very fresh & flavorful.

Shubha S.

Yelp
The ambiance, decor and service is great! Food was hit and miss. The drunken noodles, crispy pad thai and cashew chicken were good. Crispy stir fry was deliciously different than the regular one. Howver, I was disappointed with lettuce warps with chicken. Not what I expected taste, texture and flavor wise. To be fair, the waitress tried to warn me about it but I did not realize the sauce would be so different. Also, the lettuce was not pliable, was very small with stiff ribs making it hard to wrap the filling, which was also very dry. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Diana B.

Yelp
The food is awesome and the service is great. It's a gas great lighting, super clean and great ambiance. I love Thai food.

Maya T.

Yelp
Love Asian Mint! And so happy they have a lot of locations to satisfy that craving. I came here for lunch with coworkers. I loved the pad kee mow with chicken. It hit the spot. Can't wait to come back in the evening and get drinks too!

Alexis C.

Yelp
Asian Mint is a quaint little Asian fusion restaurant with freshly prepared menu items. They highlight the head chef and her accolades, and promote fresh ingredients and good, healthy food. I have enjoyed several lunches here (I work nearby), and the quick service allows me to come in, grab a yummy bite, and head out. My family and I have tried the calamari, several fried rice and noodle dishes, pad Thai, Thai tea, and a few different rolls of sushi. The food all tasted pretty good and came out quickly. I did take one star off because of one encounter we had where they served my family member something she was allergic to (that she had previously requested be left out due to food allergy). Our server did not handle the situation appropriately and her food was not remade as requested. I think this may have been a language barrier or something.

Lauri C.

Yelp
Great food and great service! Clean restaurant and nice waiters. Green Basil Fried Rice was great.

Arzina M.

Yelp
My husband and I have been coming here for 12 plus years now. This has always been our go-to date spot. Great staff, nice ambiance, good quality food, a lot of good options, and well maintained. We always enjoy their Pad Kee Mow, Chicken Satay, and Tom Kha! This place is a hot spot during lunch and dinner. Keep up the excellent work Nicky!

Montse S.

Yelp
This place is a go to for take out or dine in thai food. Recently have tried the Matcha Latte and it surpassed alll expectations. Out of the three dallas locations I think this specific one has the best service since it's the biggest one. The vibe can be casual in the daytime but can def be a cute date spot!

Katie B.

Yelp
In my top three favorite Asian restaurants in dallas. Consistently great food, friendly service and cool interior decor. Very generous portions. I especially love the original pad Thai, the low carb pad Thai woon sen, the tom kha soup, and the Massaman curry. That said, I have never had anything here that wasn't delicious!

Theresa L.

Yelp
I have been going to some of the Asian Mint locations for a few years now, and I've noticed that the quality of the food has gone significantly down recently. I was at the North Dallas location on 6/12/23, and ordered a variety of dishes (as seen in the picture here). However, when we received the order and as I was putting some of the fried rice onto my plate, I saw a large beetle type bug. I was in complete shock and when we called over the wait staff, the response time from them was extremely slow, considering they were not attending to other customers. Eventually, the wait staff did call over the manager of the establishment, and she took away our plates and was courteous enough to ask if we wanted to reorder or order something else to-go, on the house. At that point, we did not feel comfortable staying at the establishment, so we left. I will not be returning to Asian Mint.
