"Popular Thai eatery Asian Mint will debut its newest DFW location next week in Richardson. The growing chain’s fourth area outpost is set to arrive at 300 West Campbell Road, Suite 300 on Monday, October 7. It takes over the space that formerly housed fast-casual eatery EnjoyMint, which closed earlier this year to make way for the new full-service Asian Mint outpost. Helmed by chef Nikky Phinyawatana, the first location of Asian Mint debuted 15 years ago this month, and has since expanded to three additional restaurants in Oak Lawn and Inwood Village. It’s known for its top-notch riffs on Thai classics like tom kha gai, pad kee mow, and curry dishes. According to Phinyawatana, the restaurant’s red, green, and yellow Thai curry sauces boast healing properties thanks to anti-inflammatory ingredients like turmeric." - Amy McCarthy

The coolest ambiance with green accents creates a refreshing and calming atmosphere that's perfect for dining. The food here is really tasty and full of authentic Thai flavors. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality you receive. The service is exceptional, with staff being both polite and communicative. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delightful Thai dining experience!

Food is delicious, with reasonable wait time. Came here with a co-worker who recommended it, and I will definitely be back. Restaurant itself is very clean and stylish!

Delicious food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere! We ate: - elderberry flower soda - 2 butterfly pea sodas - Chicken Spring rolls - tofu Noodle soup - tofu pad Thai crisp - meatless lo mein Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly what we expected! I'm planning on going back soon! They also have a large array of gluten-free options, which is perfect for my sister with celiac.

Google
They have such a great menu with so many Thai dishes that I would recommend, but one of my favorites has to be the Thai green curry with chicken. I've had it so many times, and it's my go-to order whenever I visit this restaurant. This place tends to get busy during lunch and dinner, which is great to see, and I've never really had to wait long at all to be seated. All the staff members are super friendly and always check up on you to make sure they keep filling up your water glass and see if you need anything else. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant is simple and clean, and they have indoor or outdoor seating. Whether you dine in or have a meal to take out, the portions are great, and I would definitely recommend it.

Last minute decided to try this place and it was great! I'm sure you can get good thai food at many places in Dallas but this was good, quick service & easy access for the Richardson area!

Google
The food was great. I got the crab fried rice. It had a decent portion of crab meat but they could have done better. It tasted great and the spice level was accurate and the chili sauce was tasty.

Google
This is good. I used to go to the other location near 75. Found this place one day looking for Asian in Richardson that has outside seating. The bright porch light attracted us. Found out that they had just opened not too long ago. The food was all very good. The Pad Thai was ok, I don’t recommend it. The presentation was top notch. Food came out quick and the waitress was very friendly. Bonus is that they had outside seating which in this day in age, we all need places that has nice outside seating.

Food was great! Recommend red curry and the drunken noodles. Dumplings were great as well. Vegan options available.

Yelp
This place is wonderful if you like Asian (Thai) cuisine. It's Clean looking, well organized, background music playing softly. The service is friendly. Food was fresh, came up quickly and portions are reasonable. The take out was carefully packed. Thanks. Will visit again and recommend to friends.

Yelp
I first discovered Asian Mint at their original location 20 years ago. Since then, they have expanded to several locations in the area. I might add ," successfully" expanded. Unlike a lot of owners that want to immediately " get big", Asian Mint took a slow methodical approach based on a commitment to good food I'm happy to report, this location continues to offer satisfying meals in a lovely environment. All rolled up in great service and reasonable prices,I always make a mental note after visiting to,go more often.

Yelp
Asian Mint is one of my favorite places hands down! I have gone to just about every location and they have not disappointed me yet! I had the pleasure of visiting their location in Richardson and it was such a nice evening out. The atmosphere and lighting at night made it good for an impromptu date night during the week! My all-time favorite dish is the Shrimp & Chicken Basil. The spices and flavors are unbeatable! I would like to try more dishes, but this one always satisfies me. The portions are generous, and the spice level is perfect, making it an exquisite meal. Along with my meal, I'm delighted to receive the shrimp Rangoons. The dipping sauce elevates this appetizer; it's not excessively sweet, but perfectly balanced for a delightful sweet and sour flavor. If you enjoy Thai tea, please feel free to order some with your meal; it's a refreshing accompaniment to a delicious meal. The service was excellent, as always, and this location is truly a gem for a quick getaway. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

Yelp
If you add Krapow Neau Kai Dao to the regular menu I will never buy Thai food anywhere else ever again. Perfect dish, every thing I am looking for when I crave Thai food. This is my first time trying Asian mint and I am very happy with my first experience.

Yelp
Food (4.5) Service (4.8) Ambiance (4.4) I first visited over 5 years ago and always wanted to come back. Well it's better than I remembered. I started with a cup of coconut soup with optional shrimp. It included fresh full mushrooms and large pieces of delicious tomatoes. Perfect imo. I then had the pineapple fried rice with with cashews and chicken which was also superb. The rice included a perfect amount of fresh vegetables. I will be back for sure!

Joanna M.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Kind service. Papaya salad was really good. Green curry was mid, too sweet. Tom yum noodle soup was good. Asked for Thai spice and overall was nice spicy enough. Good location for a decent quick eat though.

Coleen R.

Yelp
I love Asian Mint!!! It's one of my go to for Thai food! The service is great. This location is nice and clean . I ordered a no carb noodle and it was delicious if you want carb free!! Their curry is also amazing and very flavorful!

Rakshak R.

Yelp
Food is phenomenal! Highly recommend the green and red curry, as well as the green basil fried rice! Service was very accommodating and understand vegan/vegetarian options. Ambiance is pretty nice as well!

Yelp
Perfect dinner for 1. Mint platter. When I ordered - it was going to be an app- no carbs, right? It turned out to be the perfect meal. A mix of flavors and I'm full! Definitely coming here again. I'm

Yelp
As always, a great meal and first-class service. Steamed potstickers were yummy as was the vegetable bowl.

Yelp
Food was good but the waiter and the bartender that brought food to the table were less than professional. For this reason will not come back to this restaurant again. Spent over a hundred dollars and was not happy with the way the bartender delivered the food and the way the waiter acted towards us. Very odd the way the both acted towards us. The food was good no complaints about the food just the way we were treated. As many people would agree this can turn good food into a bad experience.

Maggie C.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good. I had pad Thai and summer rolls, which were both good. A quick note: the mango sticky rice is only seasonal! So unfortunately I wasn't able to get it today.

Randy S.

Yelp
Went for dinner... on a night when the entire town is out of power and a place for a good meal at the end of a long day was hard to find. Their greeting was simply "sorry we close shortly (about 20-25 minutes)... we can't seat you! But have a good night." The thing I do agree with was the "sorry" part! You absolutely were. You can do better!! How do your employees chat quietly among themselves while you watch and wait and then refuse to sit your customers before closing in an otherwise well populated restaurant?? And especially on a night after terrible storms where people have had no AC OR power all day and finally just looking for a place to sit for a nice meal before another potentially stormy night? Shame on you (as a company and as the employees on duty tonight) for your crappy service and your complete disregard and disrespect for the customers in the community you're asking to spend money with you. Not with you. Not ever. Not even on the best of days!! BTW: I offer one star because the system won't let you offer ZERO stars.

Andrea H.

Yelp
I love curry. Asian Mint has several different curries on the menu. I hemmed and hawed, but ultimately decided to order my favorite, Green Curry. It was divine! I would definitely come back and get this again. I would like to try the other curries too. They had red, yellow, and massaman in addition to the green. You choose your protein. I went with tofu. There weren't many slices, but I was okay with that because it was loaded with vegetables. Every...Single...Bite...was filled with delicious vegetables: bamboo shoots, eggplant, carrot, etc. I think I'll skip the green papaya salad next time. It was okay, but it didn't live up to my memory of one I had in Hawaii many years ago. Lovely restaurant with booths next to the windows so you can people watch. Staff were great! They came around filling up my drink glasses, taking away finished plates, and brought the check promptly, but only after asking me if they could tempt me with dessert. You'll have a great meal and dining experience here every time.

Yelp
Positives Tasty food. Quick service. Favorite - pad kee now Negatives Weak on spice, level 5 is not even very spicy Stingy on rice, just a small dollop

Louie L.

Yelp
The dishes were abundant and flavorful. The bartender was very creative and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the ambiance The wait staff was attentive.

Victoria S.

Yelp
I've never personally ordered here but my friend did and got a few dishes. Kids fried rice and glass noodles with beef and chicken. I can definitely say this is a place I'd want to order from often. Pricing was reasonable and dishes were larger. So I could only imagine service and atmosphere are on point. Would love to come for lunch soon

Gloria C.

Yelp
Came in for a date night on a double date. Service was appropriate - not too much interference yet not too little either. Parking was convenient, but then we went to eat dinner pretty early at like 5. You can easily make reservations on yelp which is very convenient. Food came pretty quickly. Big portions because I couldn't finish and I had to take some of it to go. I opted for mild spicy but I didn't think I'd taste much, but there is some kick. I'm thinking spicy must be really spicy. I was hoping for more Asian fusion, but it seemed straight Thai to me. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. I might eat here again if I'm in the area again.

Molly D.

Yelp
I can't praise this place enough. They are tasty, consistent, friendly, and take food allergies seriously. I get take out at least once a month. It does have great seating for a dine in experience. My go to's are the summer rolls (with shrimp) and the peanut basil chicken.

Conner W.

Yelp
This place is not it. Food meh. Pad Thai too sweet. Crispy basil sea bass-u get one sprig of basil as garnish, no basil flavor. Fried calimari is like chewy fries. Shishito peppers are excellent. Tulip dumplings- buy the frozen Costco ones cuz they taste the same. Daughter ordered teriyaki salmon but I didn't try cuz I just could not stand so much disappointment in one dinner. Service was excellent but waitress talked over the table and I felt her breath and probs spit plume over my food.

Prasanthi K.

Yelp
Food was good .. served pretty fast .. taste good too decent size portions .. ambience was good

Jay W.

Yelp
Service was awesome! Friday night and we were seated quickly. The place was full. Summer rolls were ok. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of peanut sauce and I didn't ask for anything else. Ginger chicken for the entree was really solid. Rice was well done and veggies were perfect and crispy. Desserts were wonderful!

Britney H.

Yelp
food is delicious, service is fast and the manager julie is extremely kind. the atmosphere is very welcoming and modern. amazing food! would come back!

Daniel G.

Yelp
Food looked great, was fresh, good....though not something over the top or wow. Perfectly cooked but just good not great. Very good atmosphere, great employees, good portions and excellent specials tea...had the mango tea. Ginger chicken was good and balance just...I would say....simple. will try again.

Sharla P.

Yelp
Lovely interior and ambiance. Smooth service. Excellent crab fried rice and I LOVED my cocktail, the Elderflower. Delicious!

Eric L.

Yelp
If you like toned down, bland, Westernized Thai food, then this place is for you. However, if you want authentic, real deal Thai food known for flavor and spice, then go somewhere else. The restaurant itself looks great, ambience A+, friendly servers, etc. Food was so bland. Ordered a salad that the server said was "medium spicy" - had zero spice. Got the seasonal special crab fried rice. Lots of rice, hardly any crab, lacked flavor as well. Lots of other better Thai restaurants out there - suggest you go there instead.

Daniel J.

Yelp
I am absolutely KICKING myself for not trying this place for so long!! When I finally remembered to go try it one day after work, I ended up liking it so much that I went two days in a row! The food is incredible. The first day I got the pad kee mow because I love those wide rice noodles. I got it with beef and the flavor was perfect. The second day I got the green curry, and it might be the best I've ever had! So creamy. Perfect balance of spice and sweet. The chicken was tender and the veggies still had a little crisp. The servings are also huge! If I hadn't been so hungry, I definitely could've split each meal in two to have leftovers. The staff was friendly both days I was there. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Do yourself a favor and go eat there immediately!

Lexie C.

Yelp
Took a while for me to try this place, but when I finally came in here, the experience was quite good. Personally, a little expensive for Thai food but it was pretty good. It also did not take too long for the food to come out, and the service was very nice. Also, love the interior of this place!

Sandy H.

Yelp
Food was horrible. Have dined in Dallas & is always fresh & good. Campbell Road location needs work.

Robert H.

Yelp
Environment: Mint's inside dining area was very clean, staff very attentive and helpful with menu recommendations (June). Service: Food came out fast and hot. Food: Very good! Had nice spices and fresh ingredients. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Pamela N.

Yelp
Super impressed with this fast food - casual restaurant settled in what looks to me like a shopping center redo of up and coming businesses. For an appetizer I chose the Mint Platter which had a nice sample selection. I have to add that everything was delicious but the tender and juicy Chicken Satay stood out. I also ordered a cup of the Coconut Thai soup with chicken and hubs had the Spicey Tom Yum with Chicken - both flavorful and delicious. Big plus - loved the interior with the comforting green and white colors spread throughout Would I come back? Heck yea- have to go back...still have to try the entrees!

Martin K.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to be ale to come here during Elite week and try their delicious food. I've been to the location on Forest lane and 75 and was curious to see if their other locations are just as good. I arrived with my family and was greeted by a cheerful waiter and seated quickly despite it being Saturday evening. We tried the chicken satey, a chicken tom kha noodle soup, Kua Kai (broad noodles with chicken, egg and scallions) and teriyaki salmon. The satey was tender and delicious with the peanut sauce that came on the side. Even the kids liked it. The tom kha soup was very good as well, not very spicy and rather on the sweet side, but not too sweet. My son absolutely loved the Kua Kai, to the point that he almost stabbed me in the hand with his fork when I attempted to try it. The salmon was tender and flaky with a slightly sweet teriyaki sauce. So, we were very satisfied with the experience and will gladly return.

Christine S.

Yelp
Attractive restaurant space - very polite and quick staff. Food was not great. Spring rolls were only alright. Orange chicken was very tough and dry.

Jordan P.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing!! However, the service was disappointing. Our server running our table never asked for refills, all the other servers in the restaurant were. We tried to call him over to get some soy sauce but we had to get up and walk over to him to ask. He didn't try and offer to clear our table of empty plates or drinks, he just kept putting plates and cups on our already small table. When it was time to get the checks, he switched two of the checks, and didn't make sure that all the checks went to the right person. It was just the one server, everyone else was so lovely.

L D.

Yelp
Good food, prompt service, lovely presentation. Always a nice meal. Clean and modern

Sarrang P.

Yelp
I came in and was welcomed friendly from the employees at the front. They came to help me find menus and reccomend stuff I may like. Service was great here and I really liked that! I ended up getting the fire noodle bowl which wasnt too spicy except at the bottom where the thai chilis were hiding Haha. I thought the noodles were a bit dry and not too flavorful but the skewers were amazing. The steak and shrimp were grilled so well and sometimes I wish it wasn't so pricy cause I would definitely add more protien. I think mainly the high price is what keeps me from coming back too often. Also the noodles I got were dry but I could try some other dish like a curry or rice dish Haha. Definitely worth a try !!

Manda C.

Yelp
This review is based on a single visit. That visit was 3 1/2 stars but I rounded up because they are interesting, have a ton of potential and what was good was really good. The patio and window seats are beautiful. The furniture is functional and cool. They have an open, large space and I like not being crowded. There's a selfie station, if that's your thing. It can be a little confusing at first. You have to enter from the left where you can look at the menu (either paper or screen) and then order at the front counter. While we dined, half the people coming in tried to use the door on the right, which I almost did as well. I saw reviews stating you enter your own order, but I didn't know that at the time. There was a gentleman at the counter who stared blankly at us and didn't say anything, that was weird and uncomfortable. However, the friendly manager swooped in and explained things to us, but she entered the order for us. I was completely shocked that they don't accept cash! Come prepared! They have local sodas (Oak Cliff Beverage Works) and unsweetened flavored teas you help yourself to. It was my first time trying this brand and I really liked my lemonade. My husband tried several sodas and said they were both good, including the no sugar/diet option. They have environmentally friendly lids but you can request a straw if needed. Help yourself to silverware, to go containers and sauces here. They bring the food to your table and bus the table as well. The bowls are $7.95 and are a fair portion for the price. The bowls are heavy, I think the portion needs a little more protein in order to consume everything in your bowl. Neither of us finished our bowls and we left full. They have a small appetizer menu as well. The sauces I tried are a bit unusual and not what you necessarily expect. For example, the sweet and sour is extremely sweet. The peanut is oddly bold and strong, without any hint of sweetness or peanut. I think you need to leave expectations at the door to enjoy this place to the fullest. The dumplings were delicious!! They were vegetarian with just tofu, mushrooms and veggies, but were so flavorful! If you want an appetizer, I recommend those! The bowls had some hits and misses. My jasmine rice was fine, but a little dry. My husband's fried rice was mushy and extremely salty. I plan to stick with jasmine rice or a salad in the future. Also, I didn't care for my sauce so I think I would build my own bowl next time. However, the proteins shined and the veggies were very fresh! I enjoyed my chicken, it was quite good. The star of the show was the beef. It was exceptionally flavorful and I was mildly jealous of my husband, lol! This is a cool little place with healthier options that still have a lot of flavor- check them out!

Yolanda H.

Yelp
Red curry bowl is the go-to entree for me. It has a good flavor. The restaurant is a self service order that will slow you to customize your dish with add-ons (meat, extra veggies and herbs). I believe it is a card only- no cash place because of the self service order. There is a staff member available to help if you have any questions.

Latrell C.

Yelp
The good is always fresh and delicious! In love with the smokiness of the crab fried rice! One of my favorite sushi's is the Yellow Tail, actually, it's a family favorite! The shrimp Wontons are very good and my husband always orders the Red Snapper. You must give Asian Mint a try!

Winnie C.

Yelp
Wow I don't know if I would've tried this place if it weren't for a Yelp event, but I am so glad I did! I was thoroughly impressed! To start off, outside the entrance they had a guy grilling meat skewers on a little grill, which I thought was pretty neat! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I ended up getting a fire noodle bowl with steak skewers, and my friend got a pad thai with chicken skewers. For drinks I got the Thai tea, and she got kombucha (they sell Holy Kombucha). Overall the food is very delicious and flavorful here! I also appreciate that they mark whether their food is GF or not! The aesthetics are on point and service is great! Parking lot can get a little full but didn't have trouble finding two spots! Definitely get the meat skewers with your bowl or salad! Definitely the star of the meal! Both skewers were tender, juicy, and super flavorful! I would come just to get the skewers! The only thing I would add is I wish the skewers were just a little hotter when served. Portions were pretty decent and provided me another meal later. Thai tea did not disappoint. I have had some hits and misses in regards to Thai food in Dallas, but EnjoyMint is definitely a hit!

Kelly O.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed eating at EnjoyMint! The restaurant was super clean and staff was friendly and very helpful. After walking in, stay to the left, this is where you order your food. They have display screens where you place your order (it's similar to the ones at Panera). Staff was readily available to help us with this process. First pick a bowl, then pick a meat, then customize your bowl. The back of the menu has lots of yummy items to add on! We ordered the grilled chicken pad Thai bowl and the beef fire noodle bowl (we added a fried egg). No table service. After ordering, get your silverware, napkins, and any spices you want to add to your dish! Pick a table and they will bring you your food. Grilled chicken pad Thai: I love how the chicken comes out on skewers with grill marks! Under all of the bean sprouts was a beautiful bowl of pad Thai! From a presentation standpoint, I would say either put the bean sprouts on the side or under the noodles (they are not the most appealing thing to look at!). When I got my dish I couldn't even see the pad Thai bc it was covered in bean sprouts! No big deal I just took them off ( they are not my favorite anyway!). The pad Thai had chopped peanuts, chives, cilantro, and tons of flavor! The grilled chicken added a really nice touch to the dish! Very yummy. Beef fire noodle bowl: my favorite!! This was such a good choice! Tons of flavor, color, and freshness. The beef might have been my favorite. It was thinly sliced and also came out on a skewer. The beef was grilled and seasoned so deliciously. I would have taken home a to-go order of that beef all by itself!! For dessert: they sell macaroon ice cream sandwiches made by "Joy". They looked too pretty not to try! We got the cinnamon one. It tasted like a snicker doodle. I really enjoyed the texture of a giant macaroon with ice cream! It was a little pricey but totally worth it!! An added bonus-they are all gluten free! I'm excited for next time. I will for sure get the beef fried noodle bowl again, along with a macaroon ice cream sandwich!

Yelp
Wow. Came into this plaza with no intentions of trying this place and I have ZERO regrets on my decision. (Ive heard great things about this place, and I love Thai. So I wasn't going in completely blind) Everything was GREAT. Food was great, decor was great, staff was great. We ordered Red Curry and Sriracha Chicken SirFry and Thai Tea and we were both speechless. Each bite taken I was like "omg, this is great". (not even exaggerating lol this place was really that good!

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I love Thai food and I always pass this place when I drive to school. I've always wanted to try it and I did last week! I ordered the Fire Noodle Bowl with Fried Chicken. My bowl looked very pleasing when it came out. The noodles were kinda soggy but I could still eat it and the fried chicken was good. One thing I liked about this place was that their cups didn't include straws to better the environment! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. As my friend and I were looking at the menu for the first time, the lady greeted us with excitement, helping us order. The place is clean and it's spacious so you won't have to worry about not finding a seat. Overall, I think this place is okay and I might come back once in a while since it's a convenient drive to satisfy my Thai cravings!

Nargiz K.

Yelp
I had a pleasure of visiting this restaurant this week. I love good Thai food and I was not disappointed. This restaurant is clean and spacious with modern interior design and cute outside patio. Bright warm colors evoke happiness and energy. This is self service place which I like. However I received a very friendly and attentive service from the girl working there (didn't ask her name). She was extremely helpful. I ordered fire noodle bowl with grilled shrimps. It was delicious and quite spicy. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I plan on stopping by here next time again.

Sunny K.

Yelp
Fresh. Delicious. Affordable. Those are the three words I would use to describe Enjoymint. If you a health conscious individual, I would recommend this place. You'll get the health benefits along with the flavor. I really liked the Peanut Basil Bowl. I myself ordered the Pad Thai Bowl with grilled chicken. It was also delicious and it was enough food for me to have some left over for my next meal. They have various refreshing drink options and they allowed us to sample some of them. To satisfy your sweet tooth, they sell macaron ice cream sandwiches from Joy Macaron. And to top of the experience, they have a photo booth for you to use while you wait for your food- great idea!

Aaliyah W.

Yelp
Wow, just wow! EnjoyMint has only been open for about 5 months & has definitely hit the spot. The self-ordering kiosk are definitely becoming a thing & it allows customers to be interactive. Guess what else?! They have free Wi-Fi -- might not seem like a big deal but if your bringing the whole family in hook the kiddos up to play games on their tablets to keep them occupied when they get bored. They even have baby high chairs for the little ones to eat in. Food: Fire Noodle Bowl w/grilled chicken, double Thai herbs minus the peanuts -- my first bite was like POW & i mean a punch of spice but I wanted more ironically. With that being said, be mindful of the Thai chilies, push them bad boys to the side unless your heat level is high. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection & all the added herbs were refreshing. My one piece of advice would be to put more sauce in the bowls. Fried dumplings -- the dumplings had a nice crunch & tasted just right. Drink: Hibiscus Sangria Kombucha -- OMG! For a person who loves Kombucha this really spoke to my soul. It was so refreshing & just plain delicious. Space: The decor is very modern & fresh. Customer Service: The staff went above & beyond to make sure the visit was memorable, can't thank them enough! Overall, my visit to EnjoyMint was pleasant & I hope to be back soon. For now, it's in my top recommendations for new places on the block to try!

Yelp
I got take out recently while visiting UTD. The crispy pad thai was amazing. Definitely would recommend. I didn't eat at the restaurant but while picking up my food it seemed like a great environment. The takeout box did leak sauce everywhere but that was my only concern. Food was a 10/10
