If you're in Delhi and craving rich, spicy, and unforgettable Mughlai flavors, Aslam Chicken Corner near Jama Masjid is a must-visit spot. This legendary eatery is known for its bold use of butter, cream, and spices—and it truly lives up to the hype. What I Tried: Butter Chicken (Aslam Style) – Unlike traditional butter chicken with gravy, this version is all about grilled chicken drenched in loads of butter, fresh cream, and a secret spice mix. The chicken was tender and smoky, and the buttery masala mix made it indulgent and addictive. Chicken Korma – A rich, flavorful curry with deep Mughlai flavors. The gravy was thick and aromatic, with just the right amount of heat. The chicken pieces were well-cooked and soaked in the delicious curry. Paired both with Rumali Roti, which was soft, thin, and perfect to scoop up every bit of that flavorful sauce. Taste: Absolutely packed with flavor! The butter chicken was rich and creamy without being overly greasy, and the korma had a classic old-Delhi charm with its deep, spiced profile. Ambience: Street-style, busy, and full of energy. Seating is limited and basic, but the vibe is lively, especially in the evenings. Service: Fast and efficient despite the crowd. They know what they’re doing and serve up hot food quickly. Value for Money: Totally worth it! The portions are generous, and the pricing is very fair for the quality and flavor. Hygiene: Average, as expected in a busy street food zone. It's not spotless, but manageable if you're here for the food. Must Try: Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Rumali Roti Best Time to Visit: After 6 PM for fresh grills and lively atmosphere Overall Aslam Chicken Corner delivers a bold, butter-loaded punch of flavor that you won’t forget. If you’re a fan of rich North Indian chicken dishes, this place deserves a spot on your food journey in Delhi.

I had been always seeing on YouTube and food bloggers and yes they have hyped it so much. But was worth try. It can't be a go to dish but butter chicken was worth tasting and there biriyani too. It was too crowdy. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Because Ramzan time obviously.

It’s one of the clean shops in the lane. Taste was good and something new for your taste buds. Although you might get disappointed if you are expecting/like your chicken spicy. I guess their famous butter chicken had just the butter and the cream as gravy yet it was tasteful!! Also the chicken goes through some marination process which develops the taste. Waiters were good and super attentive. It wrongly marked on google maps You ll find it right opposite to Haji Mohd Hussain fried chicken shop.

Non-Veg wise my selection was not that good. But roti was great but chicken kebab was very dry and I didn't like it all. Atmosphere was ok and service was good. If you planning better select something else hopefully. This is very near to Chandani chowk and famous masjid. Always crowded and buzzing. Overall 2/5 rating

Really had a great chicken of my life it was so creamy with perfect hint of chatpata masala and cream. It was worth going there but the area in which aslam is little shady you have to take a good care of your belongings. The atmosphere is bit humid as the place where the restaurant is really conjusted. They also have to take care of cleanliness(hygiene) But the food is best i always compromise everything for food only which is the bestest alaways. Try going weekdays to avoid rush. As weekend the restaurant is full every time.

Super crowded place as it’s infront of Jama Masjid. An iconic place for kababs. Famous for Dilli style butter chicken which is butter n creme and chatpata masala. Properly tandoored murg and the gravy is very unique and tasty. The management on 1st floor is very nice but the servers can improve as they were shouting and fighting among themself.

Aslam Butter Chicken – A Rich and Indulgent Experience ⭐ Rating: 4.2/5 Aslam Butter Chicken is a dish that truly stands out with its rich and creamy texture. The original butter chicken served here is generously loaded with butter, cream, and a perfect blend of spices, creating a mouthwatering experience that is hard to miss. The dish is indulgent, packed with flavor, and has a unique, velvety consistency that makes it different from the usual butter chicken you find elsewhere. The chicken itself is tender and well-cooked, absorbing all the buttery goodness, making every bite a delight. The spice level is well-balanced, offering just the right amount of heat without overpowering the creamy richness of the dish. Paired with soft, fluffy naan or tandoori roti, the butter chicken becomes an irresistible treat for food lovers. While the butter chicken shines as the star of the menu, the kebabs, though decent, do not steal the spotlight. They are well-seasoned but could have been juicier and more flavorful to match the excellence of the butter chicken. Overall, Aslam Butter Chicken is a must-try for those who love rich, creamy, and flavorful dishes. If you’re a fan of buttery, indulgent flavors, this place will not disappoint. However, if you prefer lighter or less greasy food, you might find it a bit overwhelming. Pros: ✅ Rich and creamy butter chicken ✅ Generous use of butter and spices ✅ Perfectly cooked and tender chicken ✅ Great with naan or roti Cons: ❌ Slightly heavy on butter (may not suit everyone) ❌ Kebabs could be juicier and more flavorful Would definitely recommend it for butter chicken lovers!

I visited Delhi twice last year and I made it a point to eat at this place each time. Why? "Because I simply love that cholesterol" 😂 That Butter - Chicken is something to die for, figuratively and literally. Also, I've had the best Chicken Shami Kebabs from them.
