"Hickory House is where Aspen’s social hierarchies collapse. In this log cabin guarded by a massive bear sculpture on the roof, you’ll see hardhats next to Hermès bags. Everybody is here to fuel up with things off the all-day breakfast menu, most of which require a seven-napkin defense against syrup and/or BBQ sauce. Go for the slow-smoked baby back ribs with your eggs, any of the four mac and cheese options, and a Bloody Mary with a tri-rack of those ribs that you can (and absolutely should) add as an extra. photo credit: Craig Turpin" - Katie Shapiro

Google
Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and decided to eat here on a recent trip to Aspen. It did not disappoint. We shared an order of Onion Rings. We each had different entrees. One had the ribeye sandwich, one had the pulled pork dinner & lastly one had a hamburger. The food was delicious! The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend a visit to Aspen Hickory House if you are in Aspen.

Google
Great wait staff, awesome bar tender, terrible management and food. TEXANS, if you eat BBQ back home (and I'm not talking about Dickey’s) DO NOT COME HERE. The brisket isn't BBQ, it's pot roast, and they don't know the difference. If you're from Texas and give this food a good rating, you're either drunk or dimwitted. They scoop the brisket onto your plate in a ball, like at prison cafeteria, then pour dark sauce all over it. The presentation is absolutely disgusting. Why do they pour sauce all over without asking? To mask the dreadful east coast style "BBQ" they serve. They probably mix it all together in a food trough, then let it sit in hot water warmers all day. It's overcooked, so it's bland and rubbery. It was so bad, I thought it was a mistake and I made the rare decision to voice my dissatisfaction with the food. The manager told me he had to "check and verify it's actually overcooked." I guess he hasn't learned how to do visual food checks yet. Guess what....he said it's fine! "To our standards". Apparently the customer's standards aren't as important. Not your standard restaurant manager response folks. The wait staff was great. The manager lacks basic common sense. In case you're wondering....no, they didn't offer to do anything for me. "We can't because it's too our standards".... Smart policy guys. You wouldn't want to motivate dissatisfied customers to write bad reviews, that would be a really stupid business strategy.

Google
This place was wonderful. The location felt like a cozy little log cabin in the woods. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food looked, smelled, and tasted incredible. Only slight negative is that it is actually pretty small inside. But easy to ignore. Not sure if they have outside seating, as it was dark and rainy so maybe i missed this. Highly recommend.

Google
We passed by after a long ski day and it Exceeded our expectations, food quality and taste was excellent. All the food we ordered was very tasty.

Google
The ambiance and decor at Aspen Hickory House are truly commendable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a pleasant place to spend time. However, I found the coffee to be just average—nothing particularly special. I ordered the steak and eggs, and unfortunately, the steak was a bit of a letdown. The rosemary spice used on the steak was overpowering and didn’t balance well with the meat, resulting in a strange flavor that didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, while the setting is great, the food could use some improvement.

Google
Good BBQ spot to conquer your craving. We got the ribs, brisket, and sausage. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The ribs were very easy to eat off the bone. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the sausage. Tried 2 kinds, the spicy and the cheddar jalapeno. I've had better. For an appetizer I ordered the fried pickles. I'd say 8.2/10. Pretty good, they're slices and they have good ranch. Dessert was a vanilla milkshake and well... It was half whip cream and the other half was MILK. I'm not exaggerating. I would not recommend ordering that from here. Service was FAST. We got our drinks, food and check within 30 minutes of sitting down on a Saturday night. Overall, I feel it was worth the price. Give it a try for yourself.

Google
Great food. Better people in an inviting environment. Whether you’re passing through or live here, I highly recommend this place.

Google
visited there with my family for a night out and it was absolutely fabulous. Kevin was our server and went far out of his way to make it an amazing night. The smoked chicken wings are do-not-miss, and the baby back ribs were also amazing. and be sure to order some orange juice, especially if you have small children. It’s a special secret treat that you’ll learn once you do it.

Yelp
Filet minion and ribs were great. Great value for quality. Service was slow. let it down.

Yelp
Hickory House is home to one of the best breakfast deals in Aspen! A simple breakfast special always hits the spot after a couple of hours hiking in the morning! Consider eating on the patio, it's fun to watch the cars drive through town from there...not to mention how nice it is to look up at the lovely view of Aspen Mountain.

Donald P.

Yelp
Great was baby back, cornbread and slaw. Brisket was overcooked and dry. Eating a pound of overcooked and dry was tough. Once they cut that brisket, they should have left it and picked another. The cutter was not on the ball I was really looking forward to this delivery at my hotel. I would recommend to everyone looking for babyback, cornbread and slaw, skip the brisket

Yelp
Hickory House I saw this place on Yelp before my trip to Aspen and was super excited to try their onion rings and the "best ribs in Colorado". Food 3/5: We ordered the onion rings and half rib meal that came coleslaw, garlic bread, fries, and baked beans. The onion rings were a little bit of a let down because their menu claims that it feeds 2-3 people? We expected a mountain of em but they came in your average basket and fed nowhere near 2-3 people. The onion ring batter was a little bit over cooked and had little onion flavor because they were cut so thin. The ribs were pretty good but definitely lacked flavor. On their tables, it had their barbecue sauce that helped balance the blandness of the ribs. I really liked the smoked habanero bbq sauce. Overall the ribs and the onions were decent but I would not say the "best in Colorado". Ambiance: 5/5 The ambiance of the place was very well themed. I like the wooden structure and it really made you feel like you were in a cabin. We went during lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty lively. Service: 5/5 Service was great, once we walked in we were seated immediately and our server was attentive. They quickly took our order and food came out in a timely manner.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Aspen. The food is wonderful. Something on the menu for everyone to try. Very low key and comfortable environment. Lots of fun with great food and drinks.

Alex L.

Yelp
Came for brunch and tried the french toast (3/5, pretty standard) and the baby back ribs (4/5, wish they were meatier). Service was great and the place felt homey!

Patrick S.

Yelp
We've been here in past trips as well as this evening. Lots of seating here. You can bring a group and generally find a set up that works. All tables and chairs, bar seating and no booths. It's tight quarters but appreciated when there are few affordable places in Aspen to eat. I'd say it's around $25-$30pp for dinner without booze or apps or dessert. Food comes quickly, hot and as expected. We have burgers, chicken strips, chicken burger, Mac n cheese beans and onion rings. It was a lot of food for 5 hungry guys. Everyone was satisfied and maybe it took 10 minutes to bring our food out from the time we orders. They bring big containers of sauce which is nice. Wait staff is seasoned and they don't mess around. Full bar and a typical selection of sodas.

Yelp
I've been traveling to Aspen the past 25 years for skiing and summer music events. There are only a few places left that have an authentic charm and reasonably priced food. I can't believe this place still exists. I had a steak there the other night and it was excellent. Met a lot of nice locals. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Kristi M.

Yelp
Well decent prices for Aspen, I can say that much! I ordered the avocado toast and holy moly, it came with probably 8 eggs mounded on top. I scrapped majority of them off but the gluten free bread was super great. They are very generous with the amount of avocado on the toast. The hash-browns were super dry and lacked flavor. The service was just alright. Maybe I should try what they are famous for if I end up near this spot again. I

Yelp
This restaurant is a true standout in Aspen, offering delicious food at an unbeatable price. The menu features a range of expertly cooked dishes, from tender ribs and succulent pork to perfectly prepared beef, steak, and flavorful chicken wings. Each dish is packed with incredible taste, and the portions are generous. In a town known for expensive dining, this spot offers exceptional value without compromising on quality. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's a must-try for anyone craving mouthwatering, well-priced meals. You won't find a better combination of flavor and affordability in Aspen.

David E.

Yelp
Ribs very good. Steaks also (surprise). Onion rings good bhh u t better in house - don't travel well.

Lucy D.

Yelp
This was our second time in Aspen and we weren't able to eat here the first go around because it was too busy. This time we stopped in for a late breakfast and easily got a seat. It was fun to see all the decoration in the restaurant and the history, as well as Guy Fieri stopped by - too cool! The breakfast portions were huge and the coffee was hot - I had the huevos rancheros and they were fresh, with crispy hash browns. They really got me with the local tortillas that had great taste. My husband had the Western Omelet with hash browns. Definitely an old school breakfast spot, no complaints. The waiter was friendly and attentive. This is a definite spot to check out in Aspen - I'm sure the BBQ is A+.

Tara R.

Yelp
Food, service, and atmosphere was great! Highly recommend. We wanted a midwestern breakfast & this place came highly recommended.

Kathy K.

Yelp
Had low expectations, but was extremely happy with the meal! BBQ ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious! Liked that we could order a slab and get a Caesar salad it. Also ordered roasted broccoli and it was very good and felt like the meal was somewhat healthy for restaurant food.

Andy C.

Yelp
Disappointing. Ribs. It's in the name. Unfortunately the ribs are dry with very little meat. The brisket is also sad, again dry and unsalvageable even with sauce. The only good thing were the dry rub wings, but even here the failure is false advertising. You're getting whole drumsticks which isn't necessarily a bad thing but if you're expecting actual wings then you'll be upset. Sides are small and forgettable. At least the prices are reasonable, but the truth is the price of a rack of ribs should have tempered my expectations. Pickup service is quick. The space is rustic but I can't comment beyond that. If you're close by and you need a relatively cheap (for Aspen) meal, then it might be an ok option. If you have to walk 2 miles round trip in the snow to get it (like I did), then do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or get it delivered.

Yelp
Im 100% sure I was sold someone else's food that was eaten and returned. i would leave negative 5 stars on this place. I've had issues here before with food quality , but today I ordered 8 smoked wings to go and I ate three wings and when I picked up the 4th wing to eat it there was an eaten chicken wing under my wings. I took it back and asked for the manager, i told him what happened and he was smirking and had a big smile on his face, so I told him he should be apologizing not smiling about it. and I asked for the owner. he said he was the owner and I was surprised that the owner would treat a guest that way so I said "you're the owner!" , I guess I don't have anything else to tell you then. id just like a refund, I'm disgusted and I lost my appetite. he gave me the refund and told me not to come back Several times yelling it trying to make a public scene as though I was the issue and not him or his establishment. The thing is, I own a business and bring my employees here all the time and he's losing me and my employees as guests, and i want to make sure everyone knows what kind of establishment this is. another time I ordered food and it was cold. another time I ordered wings and they were crisp burnt and they told me that's how they come. instead of changing them for me. don't spend your money here, this guy doesn't deserve us, and we deserve better in the community of Aspen Colorado. This place needs to go, or it needs new ownership.

Michael R.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast because I heard that it was voted best breakfast in the town and after not really loving it I tried them for dinner one evening to see if it would be a better experience. Here are my takeaways!! Environment Plenty of space for outside seating and inside dining - has your typical bbq place vibe, beautiful art on the walls - family style restaurant. I stopped by during brunch hours so it was fairly empty and calm - bright and relaxing setting. Service The service was good. Nothing to run home about or complain about. He made sure I had what I needed and it was fast and efficient. Food and Drinks The breakfast food was not for me. For breakfast I had pancakes, eggs and I tried the grits. Pancakes - they were grain pancakes made with rolled oats, crushed wheat, quinoa and flax seed. So this was probably mostly my fault and just something I didn't prefer. Hit me with good ol unhealthy buttermilk lol. If you're into healthy pancakes then this may be the place for you. Eggs - the eggs scrambled with cheese were also not what I expected. They. kind of slapped the cheese on top of the eggs. It wasn't that great. The grits - similar to the eggs, they laid out block of cheese on top of the grits when serving. I mixed the cheese in to the grits but it didn't really make it any better. I'm from the south so it could be a regional different but it wasn't for me. As i mentioned earlier, I did want to try them again to see if they dinner was different experience so I ordered the burger and fries and I also wanted to try the mac and cheese. The burger was way better than my experience for breakfast. It was massive and pretty tasty. The fries were just okay and the mac and cheese - you definitely get your $10 dollars worth in your order. It's pretty fairly tasty and on the heavier side so it can easily fill you up. It wasn't bad but I've had better. Way better. Overall Overall not my favorite place but if I'm every in the area i should probably try the one thing they may be known for - the actual BBQ. I wouldn't completely count this place out - the burger was pretty good and worth a try and I would go back to try other options on the menu to see if I can get a winner.

Yelp
Went in for breakfast and had to remind staff we were outside. They forgot half of the things we asked for (refill on water, side of honey, etc.). They were nice enough, however, did not check on us so we continually had to go inside for our requests. The food was bland, overcooked and overpriced. Would never go back

Aspen S.

Yelp
The best macaroni and cheese in town!! The service was great. Small town feel. Definitely will return:)

Doug D.

Yelp
Having spent considerable time in Kansas City, the bar was set pretty high for me. Overall everything is pretty good. Ribs, brisket, the sides are all done to a very decent standard. My favorite is the smoked dry rubbed wings. I would put these in the top 10 wings that I've had, so make sure not to miss those.

Mari M.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. Got the ribs, a very small Caesar salad, and the pulled pork. We also ordered the onion rings which didn't come until after we paid our check. Our server was ok but I'm pretty sure he forgot to put in the onion rings and blamed it on the kitchen. The ribs were fine- not anything special.. their bbq sauce was ok... nothing memorable. The Caesar salad was 2/5 at best and the portion was incredibly small for $7. We only came here because the places people recommended in downtown aspen were a long wait. Will be more diligent about making a res for a better lunch spot next time we're in town!

Happy G.

Yelp
This is a must when in Aspen because it's one of the last low key, old school places left. Plus, BBQ is wonderful!

Allie C.

Yelp
How this place has positive reviews is beyond me. I've been living in Aspen for over a year now, and have gone to Hickory House a few times. The first couple of times were fine. But today, we learned they no longer do the weekend brunch menu and when we asked about it, our server was more than annoyed with us for even asking. Flies everywhere--I get that it can't be helped when you have the doors open but they weren't helping the situation as all the tables around us sat dirty. The table that we were seated at was sticky and unclean. The Bloody Mary we ordered was inedible, I took one sip and it had the texture of tomato paste. Like straight up gel. The Smoked Salmon Benedict had no flavor, was ice cold, the eggs were not runny. The only thing I could ingest while there was my greasy sausage links. I could feel myself getting diarrhea as I was sitting there. We had to ask for water and coffee twice. We watched other tables around us get frustrated with the service. There was a child running food. A child! I get that times are tough and you want to pay children a little less, but children are straight up gross and don't wash their hands, they pick their boogers, just gross overall. Between the two of us, we spent about $100 +tip while our food wasn't eaten, our drinks weren't drank and we had a bad time. There's other places in Aspen to spend our time

Vernon F.

Yelp
Onion rings were fabulous. Baby back ribs were horrible. Dry as beef jerky, very little meat , black dry, very small. Worst ribs I have ever had. The sides were very good. This place needs some quality control. Serving the ribs I received should embarrass the management. I guess they don't care. Save your money , if you want ribs go elsewhere" Best ribs" want a joke.

Vickee B.

Yelp
Many thanks to Paul and his team for their terrific service. We kicked off a wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner here and it was great. The food was delicious, especially love their salmon and macaroni and cheese, served family style by a plentiful staff and our guests enjoyed the fun and casual atmosphere. Hats off to Hickory House for consistently providing great food to the Aspen community.

Jes J.

Yelp
Service: very good. Friendly, attentive and prompt Food quality: very good (ribs, brisket, onion rings), exceptional (chicken wings) Price: very reasonable for a tourist town Ambience: typical bbq place. Good for our 5yo and 4yo Highly recommend.

Hannah R.

Yelp
Toxic environment, narcissist owner, great server but ownership is highly disrespectful and openly treats their employees poorly. I would literally eat barbecue anywhere else. Would've given 0 starts if I could. Scrambled eggs are icky, and you might get diarrhea mid meal. Make sure there's enough toilet paper before you sit down and if you have enough time.

Adam F.

Yelp
The milkshake flavor of the month does not actually reset on the first of every month, but rather when the restaurant runs out of the past month's special ice cream. If you come on the 1st of the month expecting a new flavor (as we did), prepare to be disappointed. Otherwise, great overall. We especially liked the dry rub wings.

Dhawal V.

Yelp
Half stack ribs combo is perfect for 2 ppl as it comes with their best sides. I'd caution against Mac and cheese. Reasonably priced.

James P.

Yelp
I will give this place credit for making fall of the bone type of ribs. That for sure is their best item on the menu. The mac and cheese was very milky than cheesy. The wings were okay and I'm a huge brisket person and it really missed the mark completely. There was a lot of people still in training so service wasn't the best so my rating does reflect that as well. If your looking for ribs this is your spot to try for sure.

Tim L.

Yelp
You expect more from a place that brags about their awards (until you notice the awards are all from twenty years ago) but the ribs are mediocre at best and the service rates right up there with the ribs. Not impressed. Won't be back.

Grace K.

Yelp
Poor service. Really negative experience. The food was good, but we had to sit at our table for an hour after we ordered before we even had it. They forgot about my coffee and then brought it out cold. Also the menu says "fancy grade A pure maple syrup" and we were definitely served table syrup. No water refills either.

Skylar S.

Yelp
Hickory House is it. It looks like a beat up cabin outside, but inside is phenomenal food. Staff is always attentive, and restaurant is always clean. Known for their ribs, which are my favorite, but there's tons of other stuff to enjoy. Personally, I'm also a huge fan of the pulled pork sandwich , fried chicken sandwich, and ahi tuna salad. You can't go wrong at Hickory House. (Katie is the absolute best!)

Gerard S.

Yelp
Food is exactly what it promised to be. BBQ comfort food not pretending to be anything more than it was and it didn't break the bank.

andy c.

Yelp
Breakfast at the hickory house you bet! Reasonable prices with great food. I tried the breakfast burrito. Check out the picture. Service staff was fantastic.

Jillian L.

Yelp
My glass was broken and cut my hand, and they never brought me the rest of my meal. They comped my drink but I paid full price for my incomplete meal. Would not recommend.

Felipe G.

Yelp
Fries are soggy. Brisket feels like pulled pork. Ribs are good though. Shakes not recommended. Tater tots were soggy as well. Home bbq in aspen is a much better option, however they are further from downtown .

Bennett M.

Yelp
Always solid bbq and predictable. delivery a little slow but pick up is easy. Try their salmon , I was surprised but very good. A staple for us who live here large part of year.

Christina A.

Yelp
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE HAND!!!! If I could give 0 stars that's exactly how I would rate this place! 1st I would like to say there is male server and a female server that are WONDERFUL!!! They was on point and wonderful people to add!!!! 2nd food was good depending on what you ordered. There was 8 of us so there was a variety of stuff at our table. 3rd the BIGGEST problem/issue was. One of our people approached a man that is fully tattooed and had let him know in a respectful manner that he or any of us did not appreciate how he spoke to us. The tattooed man they claim is Richard then stepped more into our coworkers personal space untucking his shirt telling him let's step outside!!!! ALL because this tattooed man couldn't take criticism!!!! After all the commotion our server said that this happens often. As well there was 2 ladies at a table next to us that live up here and are regulars there said that the staff is typically on the rude side....doesn't surprise me one bit. At this point I decided I'm gonna get up and ask this man's name so I can post this on Facebook!!! I then get told that we are not going to give the name but will get our manager for you. Ok so u wait for a good 10 minutes before she will speak to us. NOW why would you make us wait when your dude just invited a customer outside and was stripping down to a muscle shirt! Struck me odd!!!!! While I'm waiting a young man decides to tell me this tattooed guys has spent 16 plus years in a maximum federal prison!!!!! Ummmmm that's my business how and that's suppose to scare me how????? Manager finally decides to join me and I'm telling her everything from start to finish asked for name and refuses. So I then said we cab do this one way or another may!!! I can call the cops as this guy just threatened our coworker!!!! Finally gives me a name! I'm pretty sure is fake but why do we got to threaten to call cops just to get the name???? Why are you afraid to give me his name??????????? I've been here to this place SO many different times over the past 10 years. I'm in complete shock and my entire family are regulars at the Parker location!!!!! This is obscene and somebody need to do something with the 2 people that are in charge as the lady didn't take anything serious or even apologize. Instead smirked and laughed about it!!!!!! HORRIBLE

Carra R.

Yelp
Fantastic find in Aspen! Was looking for a breakfast spot after viewing the Maroon Bells in Aspen. A local ranger said she only eats at the Hickory House and gave us directions! We spent too much time at the Bells and had lunch instead! Wow! Incredible value and so much food! Had the ribs lunch... 5 stars, bonus mom had pulled pork sandwich 5 stars Took some brisket home to hubby! 5 stars. If in Aspen, this is a must for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Delighted to find another Hickory House restaurant in Parker! Will be using the catering service as we live in the Denver Metro area. Will also be trying the Prime Rib and Cat Fish! Parker serves lunch and dinner only. They also have Prime Rib Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday after 4:30 pm. Don't miss Wing-Ding Wednesdays in Parker!

Carol T. V.

Yelp
EXCELLENT FOOD! Ribs delicious! Catfish delish. SERVICE! Great! Fun and relaxed a MUST when in Aspen

Emily L.

Yelp
Great food, great service ! Stopped here for a quick breakfast and had a delicious half rack of ribs with eggs, hasbrowns, and gluten free toast. Highly recommend!

Melody V.

Yelp
Aspen. May. 55 degrees and spitting drizzle. Walked from town to Hickory House. Arrived 4:45. Open at 5. First inside. The Manager took us to a middle table scrunched between other tables. Not my thing. Restaurant EMPTY. No one else there. We asked if we could sit at another small table & the AHat said no. Take it or leave it. So, we went outside. Had walked in the cold to get here & figured we'd stay. Outside. In the rain. 10' from the buses & non stop traffic. No music. But! They do have umbrellas!! So sorta dry. Please keep in mind this is a dumpy little rib place. It's not like they had reservations assigned to tables!! Our server, Keiryn, was very nice. Dinner was marginal at best. Ribs teenie tiny but ok. Chicken a little dry but okay. Augrautin potatoes, gross! Tasked like they had vinegar in/on them. Could not eat. Coleslaw dripping in mayo. Mr AHat came out really cheery to be sure everything was great. We 'splained it was not. He truly did not care and went back inside the nice dry restaurant & we waited in the drizzle for our ride. Too cold to walk.

Whitney L.

Yelp
The best bbq I think i've ever had! We were surprised at the prices here, i expected sky high aspen prices and it totally wasnt. I got the bbq sandwhich with chips for 11.99 and it was a TON of meat. I couldnt eat it all. We sat outside with our dog, and the only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because the service wasnt great. He was super nice but was just too busy for us. But we would still absolutely go back. Also i love that the drinks come in souvenir cups!

Pierce R.

Yelp
Woww! The food and ribs are beyond here, love the southern food and southern service with a smile. I like that it's laid back compared to the near by restaurants, perfect for a big family dinner or breakfast. Will definitely be back

John W.

Yelp
3.5 and recommended. Ribs might be their thing, based on the name, but that pulled pork sandwich was looking pretty good. My girlfriend was looking pretty good too so I thought I'd go with something a little less messy, haha. The two sides with sweet potato tots and coleslaw were too good to pass up. I couldn't quite bring myself to eat all of both sides but that's not for lack of enjoyment. Needless to say, everything was good and I'd gladly go back for round two. The inside looked nice but we opted for outdoor seating for a little more safety. Our server was super helpful, gave recommendations, and made sure we had anything we needed. Granted, we were there later at night and they weren't super busy, but the food still didn't take long to come out.

Q W.

Yelp
Got there, seated right away, not given menus. Others come in, seated, given menus. People that came in after us had orders taken. Finally get menus and placed order. One hour after we placed order no food yet everyone that continued to come in after us got their food. Finally got the attention of someone, they said they'd check, he talked to the waiter, waiter comes and states there are some kitchen issues, food will be out soon. Still no food and others getting theirs. A waiter comes by and states that the order hadn't been placed asked what we ordered and left. Maybe like a half hour later our food comes out. Had the brisket and ribs. Brisket ok, I've had a lot better ribs than these.

Louis R.

Yelp
Ribs. In Aspen. In an unassuming indoor-outdoor resto, with zero pretentiousness...about 1/4 mile from the center of the downtown area. Utter deliciousness. Get the bbq brisket meal and the ribs. Obviously. And don't neglect your Aspen beers. The prices are fair since this spot is not in the center of downtown Aspen. Fair does not mean inexpensive, by the way. I'll be back.

Britt S.

Yelp
What a wonderful lunch we just had, splitting a whole rack of ribs with onion rings, baked beans, and coleslaw. The sauce has won the worlds best sauce award in the past and it easily shows when you taste it. The spicy sauce version is also excellent. The baked beans are great, the onion rings are house made and seasoned to perfection. I have never had a bad meal here, eating here once or twice a summer for at least 15 years. Highly recommended...
