Toast to Women’s History Month at These NYC Spots | Eater

"Upper West Side’s Asset serves food with influences from across Asia — from Thailand to China, Korea to Japan. Which means it has something for everyone, like flaming spicy tuna crispy rice, barbecue ribs with hoisin honey glaze, and a take on beef and broccoli with filet mignon. And for another crowd-pleaser, try the Zacapa Negroni created by beverage director Gabriela Robbins — a bitter and citrus-forward classic, remixed with aged rum." - Lee Musho

10 NYC Bars to Visit for MargaritaCon | Eater

"Asset brings a shareable menu of Asian specialties to the Upper West Side, including sushi and sashimi, rice dishes and noodles, and larger entrees like skewed wagyu beef and pan-roasted cod. The restaurant is housed in a vast, warehouse-like space that blends a midcentury sophistication with a utilitarian effect that creates an exceptional vibe. This April, for MargaritaCon, they’re creating an Ube Rockin Cocktail, made from the sweet yams that give Philippine desserts their rich purple color." - Stephen Rubino

Went here for happy hour after work, we love going to Tessa so we decided to check this place out. Food was delicious and lovely presentation. Drinks were good too. Service and bartenders were efficient and attentive. Good job guys would gladly recommend.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here and everything was perfect! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Every dish looked like a piece of art. The atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Chef Franco, who personally checked on us throughout the night and made sure we were happy with everything. He truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

Google
So good! Loved the drinks. Sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations. Got dumplings to start, only wish is it came with a dipping sauce but we didn’t ask for it. Got the lobster fried rice and steak to share. Delicious. Only thing we weren’t a fan of was the crepe cake. Wanted to try it and it wasn’t bad just not our thing. Not sure if it’s suppose to be hot or cold but it was cold so that threw me off. But still rating high because the ambiance, and customer service was great and sometimes I just like to try new things even if it’s not for me

Wow! I mean, I was not expecting this last min invite to be this good! From the moment you arrive, the front already gives you a welcoming vibe. Once you enter, the ambiance is simply cool, modern, zen & pretty. From the bar to high tables to the 2nd floor and bathrooms, this psot was designed well. The staff was very friendly attentattentive and careful with dietary restrictions & allergies. The drinks were very interesting & delicious. The food! Absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented with such an array of tasteful fusions. I ate way too much but had the pleasure to try a lot! And then there were desserts . They were very interesting, to say the least creative with flavors that keep you wondering. From the macaroons to the cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and the corn/crepe cake. . . Absolutely well crafted and presented. I say, this is a must! Def recommend it and will definitely be back.

I came here for my birthday, there were 6 of us in total. We each ordered appetizers and when I tell you everything was delicious, it was delicious. The waiter recommended a plum cocktail, that too was delicious. I got the steak for my main course and it melted it my mouth.

Google
Spacious place, nice decor. A bit too dim for me but nice. The cocktails are good, strong and flavorful. Got the sea bass satay, it was great. The quantity was too less for the price but good taste nevertheless. The burrata was great too, juicy and sweet tomatoes with fresh burrata. Overall a nice new spot in the area.

Had an amazing experience! I took myself on a solo date on Valentine’s Day. I sat at the bar, mesmerized by the atmosphere. I knew I wanted Chinese food but didn’t know what to order from the menu, so I asked the bartender for her recommendations. I wish I got her name. She definitely did not disappoint! For appetizers, I ordered wings and jalapeño yellowtail crudo. Wings are always a MUST and theirs is delicious. I am not big on sushi but the sauce for the yellowtail completes the dish! For my entree, I got the honey soy duck breast… it was so juicy and tender. I can taste it as I write this review lmao. I tried three different drinks, ping guo-timi (fav), lychee island elixir and plum 75. My night out came up to $140, which is a bit pricey, but not when you’re treating yourself. I also heard for my next visit, I have to try the steak. They’ll definitely see me again!

I dined at Asset for my birthday and the experience was fabulous. The staff was great and super attentive. The food is impeccable with a great selection of items for both happy hour and general dining. The drinks are creative and tasty. Only hiccup is their bathrooms do not have a changing table and with an infant, it was a challenge.

Yelp
Vibes were vibing on my first night trying this restaurant. I love the atmosphere here, the music and the design. Super cool! The staff was very nice and made some great suggestions on food and even surprised me with a fun birthday dessert (complete with a bubble gun lol). Now the real star here is the food. WOW. I love asian dishes and these blew me away. The tuna crispy rice was phenomenal. Sometimes I can't enjoy them when the tuna to crispy rice ratio is off but theirs was perfect! Also the udon noodles - 10/10. My husband loved his sushi as well. He says the flavors were great and the fish tasted so fresh. When I come back to visit NYC, I will definitely head back to ASSET.

Yelp
I've been to Asset a handful of times - the ambiance is definitely the highlight: warm lighting, cozy seating, and just the right level of background music to make it an ideal spot for couples. The appetizers are always excellent. The wings were perfectly crispy with a great balance of flavor, and the spare ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a rich, smoky glaze that made them absolutely irresistible. If you're a fan of bold, well-executed starters, you won't be disappointed. The service was fine. There were times where the waiter/busboy forgot to refill my water and I had to ask for it but otherwise, service was solid.
google avatar

Ronak P.

Yelp
So the vibes are pretty great at this place and the apps are tasty. That's where it stops. I highly recommend the wings. Super tasty and saucy. I also recommend the orange wine as it's nicely balanced on the dry side rather than too sweet. The shrimp dumplings were decent but needed more sauce to accompany it. The main dishes seemed to have gone from a Asian forward place to a more American grill kind of entree. The flavors were too subdued and borderline bland. The cook overall was great but the execution and flavors were just not hitting the right notes. Would be back for maybe drinks and a bite or two but not for any one that prefers punchy flavors for their meal. Overall service was attentive but lacking towards the end of the meal.

Yelp
I recently visited Asset for happy hour and had a great time enjoying their delicious drinks. The atmosphere is fantastic--the restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting setting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Though we kept it simple with food, ordering edamame and sticky fried rice, everything was well-prepared and hit the spot. The food complemented the drinks perfectly for a laid-back evening. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back for both the ambiance and the excellent service!
google avatar

Amanpreet K.

Yelp
We went in with high expectations given the buzz around this place however we were pretty disappointed over the course of the meal. Most of the food tasted like it had been heated from frozen and was cold when it came out. The crispy rice was anything but - although the flavors were nice, the rice was pretty soggy and cold, definitely not fresh. The orange chicken we got was pretty inedible and went untouched after the first bite. Fried rice was okay and sushi was good, although they sent out the wrong one first. Service was okay. The cocktails and vibes were cool so if you're looking for a fun spot to grab a drink, this is a great place but if you're looking for a good dinner spot, there are many better options on the UWS.
google avatar

Trae F.

Yelp
While a fan of the previous iteration of Asset, the beau and I love the rebrand. Asian Fusion can be difficult to pull off but they do it successfully here. The place was full on a Saturday night but we managed to snag two bar seats to have dinner. The food was really enjoyable as were the bartenders who were so friendly and helpful for being in the weeds all night. The place is dimly lit and the lanterns add a festive touch to an otherwise vast space. They've really gone all out and we are here for it. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I love stopping in here on my way home. Same owners as Tessa on Amsterdam but Asset is open later so I tend to come here more often. It has a great vibe and chill ambience. Drinks are good, service at the bar is great ask for Jerome, he's a lot of fun and pours some good cocktails.

Yelp
My new girls night out spot in NYC! I'm a crispy rice girlie and they definitely do not hold back with not only the aesthetic but the taste! If you only try one thing? Make sure you try that. If you have enough time to try two - please do me the biggest favor and get the lobster fried rice. When I say it was probably the best fried rice i've had in a really long time? I mean it whole heartedly. Ambiance is gorg and the food is delish. I wasn't the biggest fans of the drinks so I don't have much to say there but if I had to choose one it would be the Lychee Elixer. I'll definitely be back for the food!

Yelp
It was a warm Sunday afternoon and some tv personality celebrities including Michael Strahan were hanging outside. We had just saw Kate McKinnon walking past us nonchalantly. This is the upper west side at its finest. The food was good and the flavors were familiar but unique too. The rock shrimp doesn't rival Nobu what so ever but it fixes the craving. The potstickers came out cold in the inside which tells me they were frozen. But when we told them they brought out a new hot plate for us. The potstickers were good! The crispy rice with spicy tuna on it was also warm/cold but tasty! Sitting outside is a scene and great for people watching. The service can be a bit slow but they were also nice and accommodating.

Yelp
The vibes were really good, drinks were on point and the food was okay. They allowed dogs in the resturant which threw me off and I thought it was gross tbh and the only reason I would not come back but I know that isn't an issue for other people.

Yelp
Forget the same old brunch routine! Asset has taken brunch to a whole new level with its bold Asian flavors. Yelp
Perfect Gem on the Upper West Side with Modern Ambiance with hints of color. The live DJ had me dancing and lip-syncing at my table. I loved everything about this restaurant from the minute I walked in as the service was quick yet very welcoming. All the food options I ordered were delicious and so fresh. Best crispy cauliflower I have ever tasted, hands down. Rainbow roll was made perfectly and fresh. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was my absolutely favorite.

Diana P.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. Our server, although I didn't catch her name, was so kind. I took my friend there for a birthday dinner and they made sure to make it a special time, they even had a bubble machine for when we sang for her lol. So cute, 10/10, am for sure going back with other friends!

Yelp
Enchanting Date Night at Asset: A Hidden Gem for Asian Fusion Delights I recently had the pleasure of visiting Asset for a date night, which was a delightful surprise given its proximity to my home. Despite its close location, this was my first time dining there, and I was thoroughly impressed. Venue and Ambiance: The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, making it perfect for a date night or any celebratory occasion. The dim lighting, combined with good background music, creates an intimate atmosphere where you can easily have a conversation without shouting. The decor is both elegant and refined, contributing to the overall enchanting ambiance. Food and Drink: Asset offers an Asian fusion-inspired menu that is both intriguing and satisfying. For starters, my date and I shared the cauliflower and wings. Although I'm not usually a fan of cauliflower, the sauce they used was so delicious that it made me a believer. For the main course, I opted for the mandarin chicken with jasmine rice, while my date chose the cod fish. Both dishes were delicious and generously portioned; one entrée could easily be shared between two people. To accompany my meal, I had the strawberry OG slush, which was refreshing and enjoyable. Service: The service at Asset was commendable. The staff were attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall Experience: I would definitely come back to Asset to try more items from their menu. The combination of the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive service made for a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate or enjoy a romantic night out, Asset is certainly worth a visit.

Yelp
Officially one of my favorite restaurants. Instantly. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, nice service, excellent Happy Hour. I can't find anything wrong with this establishment.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night. Asset has been open my go to list, especially because its asian fusion & sushi. Great vibes and beautiful, modern ambience. Music was a vibe! It was not loud, so it was easy to keep a good conversation without shouting. We have reservations for 7pm. Got there a bit early and we were seated right away. It was not crowded that Friday (I'm guessing because of the thunderstorm). Our waiter Tiffany was very pleasant and was very attentive. We started with a lot of apps; the spicy crispy tuna (which was OK, we've had better), the vegetable dumplings (these were amazing!!), the shrimp toast (didn't enjoy it, wasn't flavorful at all, wouldn't order it again) grilled octopus (was OK, I've had better, the edamame and shishito puree was great! and definitely added to it), the pork satay (Great!!! Was delicious!) For entrees, we had the udon stir fry and added beef, and the lobster fried rice. Both were full of flavor! Not huge portions, which we didn't mind. We definitely enjoyed the apps more and would no doubt be back to try more on the menu. For drinks, I got the lychee island elixir and my friend got sizzling peach. We loved the drinks!!! Loved the strong coconut flavor. I know some people don't, but I think the coconut flavor was just right. I think we got 3 rounds of each Haha. We also got the cheesecake for dessert, which was amazing too! Location is convenient, great Upper West Side spot. I will be back to try more items on the menu, maybe back for their brunch and hope to sit outside on a great summer day.

Yelp
Maybe closer to 3.5 stars. I am a huge fan of the sister restaurant Tessa so I was dying to try Asset A few comments, the happy hour menu is available from 4-6. The regular menu is available from 5 pm on. This isn't so clear on the website... my recommendation is to arrive at 5 so you can get the best of both menus. we arrived at 4 pm so we ordered a few apps and half priced drinks, relaxed for an hour and then ordered off the regular menu. My friend ordered the Sizzling Peach cocktail which she really enjoyed. I ordered the Lychee Island Elixir and found it to be very heavy on the last ingredient (coconut) and not very lychee like. For $10 each though the drinks were nice. From the happy hour menu we ordered shrimp toasts and the general tsos cauliflower $10 each. Both were tasty, the shrimp toast was a favorite. My friend and I both wished there was a salad or veggie on the happy hour menu as we wanted something refreshing to cleanse our palettes after the fried food. We ended up waiting a solid half hour to order one from the regular menu. I then ordered a cherry lemonade which was delicious, refreshing, tart and not too sweet! We had the wagyu beef tataki $25 and a yellowtail roll $19 which was also quite tasty I also ordered the bluefin tuna poke $21- which was good, but I prefer the Tessa version with mango a bit better. Would come back for happy hour and apps But I would arrive an hour later :-) +Service was great, very attentive +Great ambiance- cozy and intimate inside. +Convenient location on 72nd and Columbus

Yelp
My roommate recommended this place, said it had amazing Italian food. But to my surprise they rebranded a month ago into an Pan Asian restaurant. Interesting... but okay fun! Our server was really nice and gave us really good advice when picking from the menu. Most items on the menu are to share and I was a little worried about wether or not it was going to be filling, but pleasantly surprised that everything filled me up. The food: Chilean sea bass skewer 11/10 Spicy tuna crispy rice 8/10 Brussel sprouts 8/10 Spicy yellow tail 9/10 Everything I ate was literally amazing and it was a fast turnaround after ordering. Really happy I tried this spot out and I'll definitely be back. Standout pieces definitely have to be the chilean sea bass skewer and spicy yellow tail! But also the Brussel sprouts and spicy tuna crispy rice! So everything!! Price: $$$ (50+ each)

Yelp
I was visiting NYC last week and stopped in for brunch at Asset. Decided to sit at the bar, and had a wonderful time talking to the bartender. Liv was incredibly friendly and made sure that my family and I had a wonderful experience. 10/10 service, food was amazing, and the craft cocktails were next level (especially the espresso martini and the rose Manhattan). Would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
Great Asset for your arsenal of cool date spots or birthday reservations with friends from out of town. The menu is diverse, meaning it will pretty much accommodate anyone. The architect is nicely designed and I consider it very culturally contemporary. The perks is that it's on Seated so there will be a little yield in your mind.

Yelp
Beautiful time. Had a really good time at asset.y first time there. The food was great. Special mention for the tuna crispy rice that had a little fire show on the plates. The dessert are super ornate and the 1 drink I had was sooooo good. I love the atmosphere here and it's decorated well. The music is top tier as well. The lobster rice was also a hit. Our server Alli helped my friend plan some really cool moments that happens during dinner. Our resy was for 7:45 and there was not that many ppl there but by the time we left it felt more like a lounge / restaurant scene. This will def go on my list of faves. The price point was pretty good too especially for the level of service. They do have two large rooms in case you go with a big group.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
ambiance is super cute, but i would come here for drinks and the vibe. Food was mediocre and portions were super tiny.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this is one of the MOST GORGEOUS restaurants I've been to !! The moment you walk in you know you're going to have a great time the music is upbeat and current and the lighting sets the mood !! The food is sooooo good especially the crispy tuna rice and shishito peppers !! The sushi is super fresh and flavorful too we loved literally every dish we tried!! The drinks are spot on too especially their plum sangria different from other sangrias I've tried it's my favorite version !! The staff is super attentive you never have to look far for someone to assist you they're on top of it So get dressed up and expect to have a great time

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Never tried brunch here before but so happy we did! Great service, always attentive and a chill vibe! Bravoooo to whoever is in charge of the music playlist, chef's kiss

Yelp
Brandon and William made our night - they were just so accommodating and helpful in deciding what to order. I came here for a friends birthday and and they made it super special. This is our first time coming to this place. We came here because we saw other peoples reviews and recommendations online. We were looking for something that had Asian fusion and although this wasn't really a true fusion, it was impeccable. we got the yellowtail sushi roll which was phenomenal. The past stickers were unbelievable. Flaming dynamite crispy rice was good but I feel like the spicy tuna rice might have even been better but the presentation was beautiful. We also got the lava cake which was incredible. Didn't the ribeye on the other hand was super tender but I really wish I ordered the beef and broccoli which they are known for.
google avatar

Dhara W.

Yelp
The dark aesthetic of this restaurant perfectly complements its elegance, creating an intimate atmosphere that's ideal for a romantic night out. The food was just as impressive, with high-quality dishes that made for an exceptional dining experience. The service was outstanding, and we appreciated how friendly and kind the staff were, which added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. It may be a little pricey if you have a larger party, however the service and food will not disappoint.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday last night had a reservation there was no hostess in sight to greet us for at least 5 min. They have the nerve to hold your credit card information in case you cancel the reservation. The restaurant had no heating system it felt like we were outside my bf and I ate with our coats on. The food was bad to say the least my filet mignon was very grainy have no idea why, my bf's burger was not cooked well done as ordered. When I asked for it to be returned and to have a new well done burger they brought back out the same burger he bit into just cooked some more. Meaning they put the burger he bit into back onto the grill they cook other guests food on. Unsanitary to say the least. It was an awful dining experience I would never return. They tried with the decor and music but the temperature inside, the service and food was very poor unfortunately.
google avatar

Katherine M.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere but the food does not hit the way I hoped it would. Pretty empty on weeknights and too much oil in the sauces.
google avatar

Yvonne M.

Yelp
Went here for the first time and confused at first cause expected brunch food, but they had changed their cuisine to pan-Asian! For appetizers the general tso cauliflower and chicken wings were yummy. Entrees had the black bass that was cooked with banana leaf and the cod was delicious with the manilla clams. Staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was very lounge vibe, would come back for drinks one day!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and always wanted to try it since we are a fans of their sister restaurant. I can't say whether it was better before the change up to their new theme. But, after they changed their theme we tried it. We had the lychee island elixar,Carmen, and sizzling peach. None of the drinks were drinks we would order again, they were a little watered down and sweet. We got the rock shrimp tempura and that was a bit of a let down, it lacked flavor or robustness to the point I actually thought the same thing at P.F. Chang's was better. Check your bill! Thought it was strange when the waiter asked if we wanted the happy hour after we ordered the drinks. Of course, why would we want to pay regular price when we came here for happy hour. When we got our bill, I noticed he charged us full price and had to correct it. Strange.

Yelp
let me start with our server, stef; she is sooo helpful and courteous and informative about the menu. she recommended the shrimp dumplings and the ribs and the duck and the sushi. it was all sooooo good. (especially the dumplings and ribs). stef, is sooo good at what she does and asset is fortunate to have her on their side. i'd be remiss if i didn't mention josely, ada and another server, carlos. they too are exceptional at their jobs and asset is fortunate to have them as well. we really enjoyed the service, food and overall vibe. thank you stef for making this dining experience special.

Yelp
Disgusting food. Terrible service (oh, I spilled your drink on you? Here's a napkin) and trashy ambiance. Eww.

Yelp
Visited ASSET for dinner on a Friday. Ambiance was great!! I am a big fan of the music selection in the restaurant. Food and drinks were good and the service as well. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Menu is varied and totally high quality Arancini was a standout along with their salads. Menu is fun and cocktails were great. Very cool club-ish kind of vibe and modern. Service was really on point and super attentive. I like this place as it was a fun date night place

Lily K.

Yelp
I had a fantastic dining experience, thanks to William, who went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy restrictions. He was incredibly attentive, making sure my dietary restrictions were met without sacrificing the quality of the food. It's clear that he's not only knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about the guest experience. He went above and beyond. I also want to mention Anthony, who was wonderfully attentive throughout the evening. Whether it was refilling drinks or clearing plates, he added to the smooth, enjoyable atmosphere. The whole team made the evening a memorable one. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We stumbled onto Asset after a long day of touring around New York. My goodness are we so happy we did. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and chic. It has a beautiful bar area with an upper level seating area as well! We ended up sitting at the bar area. My partner and I ordered drinks and appetizers! My partner ordered an orange wine and I ordered the margarita! We LOVED our drinks and I especially enjoyed mine. It was refreshing! We ordered the Buffalo chicken lollipops and the pigs in a blanket! Both were delicious with major emphasis on the chicken! Unfortunately we missed brunch...and maybe it's because we're from CT but we've never heard of a brunch ending at 5PM before! I was so sad we missed it but SO happy something like that exists in the first place! Typical brunch ends WAY too early on the weekends. Kudos to Asset for seeing that and doing something about it! Overall, Asset was delicious and had amazing energy. The service was tremendous and everything was so clean. Can't wait to come back next time we are in New York!!

Yelp
Good, fun food. Fantastic service. Beautiful 2 level environment. Great vibe. Music just a tad too loud and a few obnoxious Instagramers with bright lights.

Yelp
I am sorry for this review, especially since they were open on Christmas Day. They should be rewarded but something terrible happened to me while there. Let's begin. So the ambiance and the decor is upscale. On the bottom level, there is a beautiful bar and high top tables and 4 tables that seat 4 or more people. There is upstairs seating, which I would have preferred, but I think k it was closed today. You could come here for a variety of occasions and have a great time. The menu consists of many shareable small plates and there is one section that has "entrees" and sushi rolls. There are plenty of choices for alcohol and mixed drinks. The menu _could_ be reasonable if you choose to have small plate of sushi roll for yourself. But you could treat this place as fusion tapas and select a whole bunch of different things and have a variety of dishes, flavors, textures, sauces. The food is carefully prepared with beautiful presentations. A lot of the food is has delicious sauces as part of the plate which adds to the delectable flavors and a specialness as there are a lot of different tastes that surprise your palette. Look at the pics and you will see what I mean. We treated all our choices as tapas and decided to mix sharable and entrees and we had a plethora of choices for the night and a good time. I chose many things from the crunchy menu, dim sum and sushi menu plus a special salmon entree and the udon noodles. The food is fun and delicious but not cheap. Granted, this wasn't the most expensive restaurant I have patronized but I would say it was about $50 a person and only one person had a drink. I guess we could have ordered less and it would have been fine. So - I am allergic to cilantro. No, this is beyond the soap taste. This is a real allergy - complete with hives, closed throats and throwing up with bile and everything. I let the waiter know and even told him to put a plate on my husband's side of the table because it had cilantro and I could not have it. I was clear I was allergic. FOUR of our dishes had cilantro in it and I was told nothing. I ordered an octopus dish and first bite, I knew immediately that it had cilantro in it. I am not going to lie, I was angry as I threw the food out of my mouth into my napkin. But I kept my composure as I waved a server down and asked them how many dishes on my table had cilantro. They were so nonchalant as the server was like "The octopus, the green sauce has cilantro. The fried dish has junior cilantro as a garnish but you can take it off. It's just junior cilantro, not cilantro. It's just a garnish." WTF? I was like "Why didn't you not tell me? I can't eat any of these dishes and I would have made different choices. I could have asked for the sauce to be removed or not eaten it. If you know I have an allergy, why did you add the garnish?" He pretty acted like I could eat around the sauce or remove the garnish. Nevertheless, he took the octopus away, never bringing me a new one and redid the fried dish. I stayed away from the other two dishes that had cilantro. During dinner my stomach started hurting, and I threw up in the bathroom at the end of the night. And I threw up two more times on the way home. But I didn't have to use an epipen (so far) or go to the hospital since I didn't use one. I want to stress the server wasn't rude, he just seemed clueless to how allergies work. Or he just didn't believe me. My brother manages a restaurant group and told me that I should have called the manager and got my meal comped but I didn't want to get anyone fired or make it so the server would have to pay for it or anything. The bill was over $200 and my husband still tipped 20% because he used to work in the restaurant industry and he feels bad about the crew missing out if they pool tips. Anyway, this feels like a huge lack of respect and I didn't keep any of the food down. So there's that but my husband and son enjoyed their meals and the pomegranate martini he ordered.

Yelp
Went there on a date on a weeknight. Lovely ambience, and friendly service. We decided to sit outside because it was a lovely evening. I had a glass of rosé and the grain bowl, which was very good. My companion seemed to enjoy his shrimp appetizer. I would go back to this lovely place. One suggestion would be that they add one and two additional vegan options for appetizer, and or a shared plates.

Yelp
Loved, loved, and loved. I am a sucker for a good ambiance and this place was it. There are two levels (we sat upstairs on second level), music isn't too loud, crowd was nice and mature, and the food was a hit. I met up to have drink and celebrate a friends birthday and this place did not disappoint. We both were in a chill low key mood so this place was just what we needed. We shared apps and little bites amongst each other and our waitress was just ok. She was attentive but maybe she could. have been a bit more helpful. She suggested a drink I didnt really like but I quickly replaced it with a Tito's Lemon Drop. I would definitely go back. My first thought when I left was, I have to come back. This place is perfect for a date night. We went on a Friday night at 9pm, and surprisingly, it wasn't crowded.

Yelp
Food is ok, it's a nice place for celebration. Our server unfortunately seemed gone by 9pm that we have to chase him to the staff area to get our check.

Yelp
Had my birthday dinner here on a Sunday night and I think I need to be a regular here. The service was very accommodating and polite. The food came out hot and quick. My friend doesn't eat pork so they put the bacon on the side for our fried rice, how thoughtful! Also provided me with a birthday shot and candles from my cake. The menu is priced very well, have reasonable portions, and tasted delicious. The music was a bit of pop and Afro beats so very current. All in all would recommend and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Had dinner here with a friend last night. I was really looking forward to trying this place out as the menu looked awesome. Well to my surprise besides the beautiful inside of the restaurant ( we ate outdoors) It was not a good meal at all. I got the westside cocktail which was very tasty! My friend wanted a spicy margarita and it was not spicy enough for her liking. She asked for them to make it more and they came back and still tasted the same. I had asked for my salad with out cheese.. and what comes out??... it has cheese on it. The bacon did not look cooked enough there was two little pieces that did. My friend ordered a burrata salad and she said it was not good at all and cold too. No one asked if she wanted something else the waiter just said that they will remove it from the check, which was nice but then never proceeded to ask if she wanted anything else. Then the main dishes came out.. My friend had scallops and she said this dish as well was not cooked to her liking and it just was not that good. I had the chicken with mashed potatoes. To be honest the chicken wasn't very tasty but the mashed potatoes were very tasty. Soo all around this wasn't a good meal at all but I was happy to see that it is a very dog friendly place if you sit outside. That is what made my night seeing all the cute dogs having meals with their owners.

Yelp
The spot is nice with dim lights. We went on a Saturday night. It wasn't super packed but it wasn't empty. There was a DJ playing old school reggae, a good mix of party type music. That was cool considering it was what we are looking for. Something to consider if you're looking for an intimate setting on a Saturday night. The food was OK. We got Shrimp dumplings, and BBQ Ribs as an appetizer. The steamed dumplings were coated with chili flakes but a tad bit on the bland side. The ribs were definitely better than the dumplings. Very soft and off the bone, with a light coat of BBQ. However it too was a little bland and hence we had to add a dash of salt. Not the worst that could happen. I would order the ribs again but not the dumplings. For main course we shared the Lobster fried rice and added shrimp. The rice was good. It had flavor and did not lack any salt. We also ordered the Charred Wagyu Satays than honestly could be skipped. This had NO flavor super bland imo...it came with a green sauce that it also was not good. Despite it all, it was a good experience. Im still giving it 4 stars because it was my first time here and perhaps I didnt order their best dishes. I would give it another try and would recommend as long as you don't have your expectations through the roof.

Yelp
This restaurant looks really nice and modern on the inside. The food was good, but I need to come back and explore more of the menu. The only thing I was too keen on was the octopus.
