Astoux et Brun

This place is a well-oiled machine. Everything is very quick and efficient. However, the food quality was overly expensive and disappointing. The crab was big but lacked flavor, and the salmon pasta was literally just tossed in cream with smoked salmon put on top; there was no technique involved. Once a staple in Cannes, now I’m not too sure if it’s worth the money and hype.

This is a fantastic restaurant conveniently located near the car park. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the service was outstanding. Although we didn’t speak much French, the waitress was exceptionally kind and eager to help. We asked for her recommendations, and she gladly shared her personal favourites. We simply followed her suggestions, and everything turned out to be excellent. I ordered both raw and cooked oysters, along with cooked scallops and spaghetti with salmon as main courses. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. A wonderful dining experience overall! A higher recommendation from Edinburgh!

Astoux et Brun is simply WOW! 10/10! It was so good that after leaving Cannes, we actually came back all the way from Monaco just to eat here again. The taste is unforgettable everything was absolutely delicious, from the seafood to the dessert . And the desserts? Don’t miss the chocolate mousse it’s out of this world! This place is pure gold flavor, quality, and price are all on the highest level The service is exceptional friendly, fast, and professional. A true gem in Cannes!

🦪✨one of my favourite place in Cannes 😇 Had the most amazing seafood — everything was super fresh and sooo tasty. Honestly, the oysters were next-level 💯 and the crabs? Juicy and perfect! The top place with the freshest oysters in Cannes. There is a constant queue here during the season, and tables are not reserved in advance. I prefer to come at lunch, then there are not so many people. The oysters are always fresh and delicious, the wine is not very

We went in between lunch and dinner so they were only serving oysters, so we were told. But I saw another couple that came around the same time that had shrimp and other items so I think you just have to ask for other raw bar items. The area is very nice and oysters were delicious. Probably would be a good idea to make reservations for lunch and dinner as they were always packed.

The food is incredibly delicious!!! The only downside is that they don't have any WiFi, so you can't work on your laptop as you eat.

We came here wanting to try some seafood and decided on three types of oysters, half a dozen of each. Each of the different types of oysters had a distinct flavor and, overall, was really good. The house wine was ok, nothing to write home about. The service was excellent, very attentive, even though it was extremely busy during our visit. This is a good place for some solid seafood.
