I cannot speak to the food here because we just came for drinks during their happy hour (which they also offer on the weekends.) The happy hour menu does offer food items but we had just come out of brunch and just wanted to keep the party going. This place was the right spot as the DJ was spinning and the sun was setting, definitely a great backdrop to a lovely Miami night. The server was very sweet and made sure we knew when happy hour was over to get in one last drink.

Nice rooftop restaurant in Wynwood with scenic views over Miami. Food was tasty although portions seemed rather small for the price. Nice Mediterranean food options like the Greek salad and Hummus although that was a bit dry and one had to order the bread to go with it. Music was unnecessarily loud but fortunately staff turned it down a bit when asked. Overall a good brunch experience.

This place is perfect. Our server was a sweetheart, and she took great care of us. The DJ was talented and she captured the energy of Miami and delivered it thru the speakers. The drinks were fairly priced, and the food was exceptional. I was very satisfied. The view of the skyline is awesome too.

Awesome spot in the heart of Wyndwood with great service, delicious food and easy parking. What else can you ask for on a Thursday night? The live DJ was a nice touch. Perfect place to end a busy day.

I wanted to give this place a higher rating. But unfortunately our experience wasn’t like others. I came in right at open time. We waited at the hostess stand and they said, “we open at 5”, we were there 2 minutes till 5. I wasn’t sure what the message meant. Then another staff member says “we open at 5 you sit where you like” he precedes to go in to verify with a bartender and they said “yes they can sit at the bar”. There’s MANY servers around with very little people there I believe it was my group and two other tables. It took a little time for someone to come greet us. And even just during our visit our server didn’t come check on us. I ordered a Berry Margarita and received a spicy margarita which is fine. I ordered the Brussel sprouts and it was delicious, just needed something that wasn’t big but enough to get a full stomach. I believe this is more of an experience to go later when it’s getting dark to get that atmosphere. The vibes were just not it at the moment. Beautiful place it is and the views are just amazing with the location of Wynwood. I couldn’t get enough of the area.

Just celebrated my best friend's birthday at here, and it was so lit ! The views were amazing, and the whole place was such a vibe. Alejandro made the night extra special with his awesome service. He was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were perfect. If you're looking for a fun spot with great food, stunning views, fire drinks and fantastic service, come here !

Very nice rooftop, i haven’t been to a lot of Astra def left a good impression for future competition. The music was amazing, food came timely and we had an amazing view of the city. It is not placed in the best miami area but the environment sure makes up for the surroundings. Will come back.

I had the pleasure of being served by Henry, and I have to say he is an exceptional waiter. From the moment we were seated, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He anticipated our needs, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His professionalism and positive attitude truly stood out. Henry goes above and beyond to provide top-notch service, and it made our dining experience so much better. Highly recommend asking for Henry if you want excellent service!

Such a pretty rooftop restaurant in a cool artsy area. We came here with a big bachelorette party and loved the ambiance, food, and service. It was kind of fun to have a photographer come around and take pictures of us (that they then tried to sell to us afterwards) too. We started with some bottles of white and saganaki cheese, ahi tuna, ceviche for appetizers. Everything was delicious! For our entrees we shared the lobster pasta, grilled salmon, burrata salad, short rib, and another salad on the menu. Everything was divine- my favorite was the lobster pasta. Portions were huge too so it was great to share and try everything.

This is definitely the type of spot you go to for some type of celebration. The location is beautiful with great views and to my experience, nice staff. It is an open-air rooftop. I'm not too sure how they go about during bad weather, but definitely a place for great pictures. The food was not bad, some tasty options and good drinks, but definitely overpriced and portions were on the smaller side. Parking is not the best, but per its location, it is to be expected.

I would love to say the atmosphere of this place is amazing! Gives you Tulum vibes. Roof top in the middle of Wynwood. We went in the middle of the week with no reservations and were seated right way. The service was amazing. When it comes to the food it was decent. I would say they need a little more seasoning in the dishes. Overall the service was good and speedy. We shared a Branzino, Calamari and salad

I really like the venue and the beautiful view of the Miami skyline at this place. The staff are friendly and attentive, and I appreciate the addition of hookah offerings. The Dj is also very good, I just live the vibes. However, the food is lacking flavor - it's very bland and simply not worth it. On the bright side, they have great deals on wine and cocktails. With a few adjustments to the food, this place could become a real standout.

This rooftop was definitely full of vibes and the perfect spot for a celebration, the view is okay since it is in wynwood. Went here for my birthday and it was great. The food and service were perfection. Our server recommended the whole fish for the table along with a few sides and it worked out great for four of us. We also had cocktails which are the reason for four stars. If the cocktails had more alcohol it would've earned five stars, i felt like i was drinking water with flavor besides that food was delicious.

I had a great time at Astra the other night with some friends. We took advantage of some of their food and drink specials while partaking and soaking in the views. The first thing I must say though is that I am a huge fan of the décor and construction of this establishment. When you walk in you can see painted butterflies on the walls and a window from the 3rd floor bar lobby that shows a mini-view of the nearby Wynwood area. While I thought Astra was a bit higher up I was still amazed at the great views of the city in the distance (it was a bit after sunset) and the way everything was organized. The tables were a comfortable distance form one another and there were sp many places to sit! I can't imagine the restaurant ever gets full but a perfect spot for both energetic/lively and intimate settings We ordered pure lychee juice, a virgin mojito and a bottle of sparkling water for drinks; the meatballs and calamari for the drinks. I wish the classes wouldn't have been plastic because it slightly dimmed such a regal setting. The drinks were good as well but I was a tad surprised they were $10 each when there wasnt a lick of alcohol. The food was scrumptious with the meatballs being served in a row of four with arugula and pitas and the calamari was really good too being lightly fried and served with a lite tzaziki. The service was alright but what blew me away the most was, once again, the views and layout of the restaurant. The bar is placed in the middle of the roof enclosed in a gazebo and there is a DJ station around the corner with a plethora of plants and huge trees that really gives that Miami vibe we strive for living down here. Definitely will be back!

I have never left a review no matter how good or bad an experience was because who has the time? It's part of life, onto the next one. But this place was truly terrible. My family and I decided to go here on a Sunday afternoon after we saw it had 4.4 stars with 1.3k reviews on AppleMap/OpenTable. Our first clues should have been the almost completely empty restaurant and extremely loud music. We had to relocate across the restaurant because I couldn't hear my cousin or niece talk from across the table. Our waiter informed us that they were only doing brunch at that moment and it would consist of 6 dishes for $45 per person. We decided to give it a shot with the thought that for such a price and reviews, it must be good, right? So for 3 people, we tried almost every food option on the menu and bottomless mojitos ($25 per person by the way). The food and drinks came out quickly enough, but everything was either room temperature, well done, bland, or salty; and the mojitos were practically water with lime. We did not finish anything and several dishes were left untouched. We lost our appetite. I do want to commend our waiter for noticing that we were unsatisfied and comped $32 off our bill, but 21% service charge for 3 people? Needless to say, we will not go back.

I came here during sunset happy hour for a friend's birthday. The view and the ambiance of the roof top is really nice, its worth stopping by for a cold drink if you're getting heat exhaustion from walking around Wynwood. We sat at the bar (which is necessary to take advantage of the HH prices) and I ordered the raspberry mule and half a dozen oysters. The drink was good! But they did not give me a small fork (or any utensil) for the oysters, which is pretty customary. I asked the bartender for a small fork, and she seemed very confused by the request. After 5 minutes of waiting for her to come back, she brought me a small spoon and said that was all she could find. For a restaurant that serves oysters, I thought this was pretty weird. Overall the service was really lackadaisical at the bar, but its worth stopping by to enjoy the sunset and have a few drinks. As long as you aren't in a rush.

Had an amazing dinner at Astra Miami lastnight celebrating a close friends birthday. I recommend every drink on the menu, they are all good and strong. Food was pretty good as well, and deserts were good. Service was amazing and staff was helpful, informative, and friendly! The restaurant itself is on a beautiful rooftop in Miami with amazing vibes!

Astra's rooftop bar has a great atmosphere. We tried a variety of dishes, enjoying a little bit of everything from the menu. The drinks were fantastic as well, making our experience really enjoyable. Astra combines a wonderful setting, delicious food, and amazing drinks for a memorable time.

They posted information about Ladies night on Thursdays in Instagram on May 09. We came here on June and they said it was 10 months ago. Stop posting fake information. Before it was mine favorite rooftop. Can't believe it spoiled so much with time!

We went for happy hour during the week, service was terrible, along with the drinks and the oysters. The oysters were probably bad as they smelled disgusting. Server did not even mind asking why they were all left in the tray.

Unfortunately, this experience was a mess. First, it was difficult to find, but luckily someone gave us directions. We went on a relatively empty Sunday just for some food. We were sat in the sun and far from fans, so we asked to move. The hostess replied "we're hot too and we work here." I don't find that was the right way to speak to a customer in an empty restaurant, we asked a fair question right when we sat down. She let us pick where we sat. The service took forever and we often lost our server. We struggled to find him so we could pay and then had another staff member track him down. The place is cute, and I'm sure it's better at night or for drinks only. The food was hit and miss. The filet skewers were best. The appetizer dips were nice too. I wouldn't return and don't recommend coming here.

We saw this place on Instagram and decided to give it a go. The Rooftop was super cute. We were seated on the edge/corner of the rooftop... this part is important later. For apps we ordered the calamari, hummus, and fried cheese. All were delicious! No complaints. For my main, I ordered the full lobster tail. My friends ordered the chicken kabobs, lobster pasta, and a steak. I heard the steak tasted baked and not grilled and the chicken was dry. My lobster was good and had a great price point. But I couldn't really focus on the food after a Roach or "water bug" that was more than two times the size of my big toe came centimeters away from my foot.. and I had sandals on! When we told the first waiter he wasnt shocked and said since it's outside they get them. I get it... it's Miami. But they could have offered to move us or something. Next thing I know it was back and trying to crawl up our little table. It was huge!! I got a waiter to come take care of it and the crunch that thing made when he stepped on it made all of our eyes wide. We weren't offered an apology or anything. They comped my friends birthday dessert.. but it's a no for me. Stay away from the ledge seats on the roof top here!

Beautiful and spacious rooftop with great view. Great variety of food with plenty of vegetarian options. The spanakopita was amazing and the cheese was great as well. Very good service as well.

Cool rooftop vibe with a DJ but it's not a raging party like other places so if you're looking for a more chill spot then this is it. Only thing to keep in mind is that all of the lounge seating with soft pillows will be wet if it had rained earlier that day.

Food was delicious. Just over priced. $35 for a platter of grilled veggies!! $35 bottomless passion fruit mimosas were yummy. The service was good, by our server. Management service was rude. Their system was down and they did not come through with a solution to accommodate his client that just consumed $805. The place is pretty, lots of flowers makes the ambiance relax with the breeze as compliment. We had a good time, but the end trying to pay for the bill was a downer.

I did not try their food so I my review is limited to the ambiance, the service and the cocktails. The place is a rooftop and the decor is cool. I appreciated that the waiter listened to our request and turned on the heaters since it was a cold and windy night. The cocktail that the bartender recommended was awesome, it is called the Lili Koi Spice. Really yummy.

One of my favorite rooftop finds in Miami! Extremely spacious with beautiful string lights and a full city skyline view. It felt great to be at a less crowded venue compared to the rooftops in Brickell, for example, and it's so easy to grab a bite downstairs at any of the restaurants in Wynwood and then come up here for a nightcap. Will be returning!

Amazing Experience. Food was Great! Had the seafood Tower (King Crab, Oysters, Lobster, Shrimp, ceviche) forgot to take a picture, Fried Octopus, Huge Tiger Shrimp, fried calamari. The ambience was real nice. We sat outdoors. Music was entertaining. Not too loud and not too low. Our server Niki was the best. Highly recommend

This is definitely an Instagram worthy spot! The prices were a tad pricey (around $60 per person). Nonetheless it was a great spot to bring some friends out for lunch or dinner and enjoy the skyline. The music was fun and the energy was great. It's a bit awkward to sit in those large couch/cushion seats in the middle but it's a beautiful spot to be at. I recommend sitting in the middle under some shade with a fan during this summer heat!

When we arrived to our Saturday 7:00pm reservation the restaurant was empty, maybe a handful of people at the bar and one or two other 2 tops around us throughout our meal. It was windy and there was a live DJ the ambiance overall was very nice. Our service was extremely slow considering the lack of people in the place. Took 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks (just glasses of wine). We put in our appetizers, got them and finished and the server didn't come back to take our order for food until almost 20 min after our appetizers were finished. We probably would've ordered more drinks and food if the service wasn't so slow. This was my second time coming to Astra, after the first I said i probably wouldn't want to come again, after the second I can say I definitely wouldn't come again. You're paying for the beautiful view of the Miami rooftop, but definitely not the service and the food is all hit or miss and inconsistent. We ordered the: -Beef Carpaccio 9/10, would recommend trying -12 oysters 2/10; i'd skip the oysters, at $4 a piece they were very small not the best quality (east coast oysters I believe the night we were there). They were served with cocktail sauce but no mignonette -Lobster pasta 7/10; the sauce imo was more on the bland side very tomato-y, nothing special but had good size chunks of lobster and overall was yummy -Grilled lobster 6/10; would probably skip on the whole lobster, they didn't give me a cracker to take the meat out of the claws, also didn't come with anything except the lobster and butter sauce so definitely order a side as well (something the server could've easily upsold us on) -Filet Mignonette Paillard 8/19; cooked perfectly very tender, sauce was great, would recommend this one

Astra is a phenomenal Wynwood rooftop service g authentic Mediterranean and fresh seafood! Whether I'm here with a large group for dinner or having lite bites with my girls, the ambiance and music always satisfies. The branzino and meats are spectacular, all cooked and served beautifully. The oysters are super fresh! You can order either 6 or a dozen. The squid ink pasta is my favorite dish there, do not skip out on that if you see it on the menu!!

The ambiance is okay, it's not the nicest view of Miami, so not sure what view is so appealing that the view should be part of the selling point in Astra's ads. The service was poor. It was as if they were doing us a favor by mixing drinks. You are seated by a waiter, but then the waiter disappears and you are to go to the bar and order and the waiter slides the drinks towards you. Then when you get the bill, there's an emphasis on tipping. Safe to say, no tip came from me. Can't reward bad service with a tip.

Couldnt Wait To Come Here For The Views & Food. Until The Rain Put A Damper On That. The Ambiance Was Nice Nethertheless & The Staff Turned On The Outdoor Heating Stands. Drinks Was A Little Strong & Food Was Decent.

This place is on a roof top with beautiful views and great ambiance. I love the chic decor and food was delicious. The service was excellent and staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. We were told happy hour is only at the bar, we wish happy hour was in the whole place and not just one spot. My friend and I had ordered oysters to start, and they were fresh and tasted good! We ordered a mixed grill, mixed vegetables, and an octopus entree, all of it was delicious! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

Astra is a rooftop bar in the revitalized Miami neighborhood of Wynwood. They also offer great food, and features a great view of the Miami skyline. During Sun HH, we ordered oysters, ahi and lamb meatballs. First of all, the oysters were super fresh and a great starter. Secondarily, the ahi was also very fresh, and presented nicely. Lastly, the meatballs were seasoned well, and the meat was very moist. Regarding the ambiance, there is a cool bar, and as you can see, Astra has a great view. The bldg is not that tall: We were on the 3rd Floor. However, this location has unobstructed views in every direction. There are tables of two & four, and a large area for bigger gatherings like the one we saw. I would normally rate this place a 4, bc we didn't meet anyone cool here. However, the service fr Morgan was stellar. She was friendly, nice and attentive. Morgan is the reason I bumped this review to 5 Stars. If you are looking for a cool place to hang out, people watch, and take in a great view of the city, Astra is the place for you. Pro tip: Check the hours. I think they open @ 5 pm M-W, and open @ 1 pm on other days. They are also open past midnight every night.

The food was out of this world! So full of flavor and perfectly combined with the best flavors. I had the ceviche of the day and as a Peruvian myself I highly recommend this dish! I also had the calamarikia and it was divine!! The sauce was everything!! Highly recommend.

We went here for drinks and dessert and wow this place did not disappoint. The Baklava was freaking orgasmic. I will be dreaming about it for the next few days.

Awesome atmosphere! Didn't realize it was a rooftop and pleasantly surprised. Views were cute and Tempe decorations were very Miami and rattan, beach chic. I got the lily koi spicy drink and it was so darn good and refreshing. We ordered the calamari as well as the ceviche and both were extremely fresh. The place is a bit pricey but that's expected with wynwood restaurants. I was happy with the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. They brought our food very quickly and we were happy with all the service.

ASTRA is such a fun place to go to! They have rooftop seating with a bar and lots of space for people to hangout and sit down. Their staff is very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious as well. They also play really good music. The view is amazing at night. For my drink, I ordered a Passion Fruit Mojito and their Berry flavor as well. If you like sweet drinks, I highly suggest the Passion Fruit flavor. For food, we ordered 2 appetizers. The Calamarakia and Ceviche. Both were so delicious, especially the Ceviche which was my favorite out of the two. I would definitely be back here again!

Me and my girls made a reservation to celebrate my bachelorette weekend in this restaurant. we were starting the night so we were hungry and thirsty ready to spend! The place and the music were great, the service not so much, our server Camilo must had forgotten to put our food in because it was 30-45 min after we ordered and people next to us that got there later were eating. Camilo was also actively avoiding us looking at our table from the distance and not even getting close to ask us if we needed another drink or in need of water, that we had to ask 4 different people for it because our server was absent. The food was okay, the bill was okay too, we would had spent more if the server would had taken care of us a little bit more than just gave us dirty looks like we were annoying him and ask us if we needed something wasn't his job, we were coming from Chicago to celebrate in miami and this place was the only bad experience that we had. Overall would not recommend, manager came at the end giving us more actitud and send some shut up shots like we were begging for something free, very disrespectful tbh I would had like an apology more than a spitted cheap tequila shot.

I don't normally review after just two items from a menu but I felt compelled because of the awful service I experienced here. I visited on a random Tuesday night and it was somewhat busy but nothing that explained what happened. I got a passion rum cocktail (sour, not spicy as the waiter described but maybe that's a language thing?) and an appetizer (calamari) and waited almost an hour for my food. I saw other customer's main dishes (that were ordered after mine) coming before my order. The waiter was aware and told us twice that our food was coming. When it finally came he apologized but I wasn't going to wait another hour for dinner so we asked for the check and left. The drink and calamari were good and along with the beautiful decor, I'd be willing to give these guys another shot maybe. But this level of service (especially considering the pricing, which was over $40 for those two items) is unacceptable and I wouldn't recommend Astra. Finally, photographers randomly took our picture there saying it was free, and it was for us (not marketing for the restaurant or something else). This seemed strange but I said sure, only to be blindsided by the sales tactic when leaving of a $20 sales pitch for the framed photo. Technically they didn't lie as we were under no obligation to buy it, but I'm surprised to experience this outside of a zoo, aquarium, or amusement park. If they want to host photographers for date night, go for it, but be forthcoming with communication about what it is.

If you want your eardrums blown out while you sip on overpriced, mediocre drinks while eating deplorable fries (how do you mess up fries? We couldn't even finish them!) with a great sunset view, ASTRA is your spot. The food is known to be terrible, but the drinks have gone downhill now too. The music is SO loud - if I wanted that vibe, I'd go to a club, not a rooftop. Would be nice to just sit and enjoy soft music while sitting outdoors. The only redeemable factor is the view. Also, the foyer and elevator smelled of a dumpster that had been sitting in the sun. Hard to get through

I stopped here for a quick sunset/cocktail hour, we enjoyed a really beautiful sunset with a gorgeous view of Miami. I did not dine here but the food around me looked good. The rooftop was honestly worth it, they had comfy couches - plenty of seating - and surprisingly a nice happy hour too. I had a refreshing Aperol Sprtiz that was yummy.

Came here around 8pm, and they had already started the club portion of the night. We were seated close to the DJ, and the music was very loud. Drinks were great, food was mid. Got the branzino (~45$), which is the whole sea bass, and it was good but not extraordinary. The service was okay, the server was more of a club bouncer than a server.

The night ambiance is relaxed and fun. I liked the music and the cocktails. Matias had exceptional customer service. My wife described him as "very kind." The prices are slightly higher than other areas in Wynwood, but it's completely worth it. I will return to this place the next time I'm in Miami.

Rooftop Garden bar was awesome! The ambiance was exactly what you'd expect for Miami! Mami's everywhere, good music and food plus the view of the city is impressive! Was my first time at Astra but surely won't be my last. This spot has been bumped up to a must visit every time I'm in Wynwood.

10/10 would not recommend. While the spot is beautiful, the service is not great. They do not have a good system for serving large groups. Waters were not being refilled unless asked, food takes way too long to come out. The food received mixed reviews from my group. We paid in advance but was given a receipt that didn't take into account the full balance we paid. Had we not caught that, we would've paid over 200 dollars more than owed. Music is too loud for conversation, food is subpar. I really wish I read the reviews before selecting this location for my event.

Celebrated my birthday here. It was a pain to get a table for more than 10 people ... meanwhile it wasn't busy at all. When we got there.. there were empty tables next to us. Shouldn't have been so hard to plan that dinner. Food was good! Let me make that clear but way too overpriced.

I've come here twice and don't really have much to say. The seats are uncomfortable, the food is alright nothing special and drinks I'm pretty sure are all pre-made. Service could be better as well. And my drink had something weird stuck in the ice cubes... I don't recommend coming here.

Would leave zero if I could. Vibe was awful. Super loud music at 5pm with no one there, so you couldn't have a conversation. Manager and some waitresses were having a fight right next to our table. Had to ask for water three times. And the mojitos were atrocious -- they tasted like Sprite, with zero discernible alcohol, and three leaves of mint. Avoid like the plague!

This was my first time going to this place. We selected this spot for brunch because of its ambiance and the fact that it was Mediterranean cuisine. Overall we had a pretty good experience. The drinks were GREAT, our meals were tasty (the calamari and the salmon were a bit underseasoned, but we asked for salt and that did the trick) and the space was absolutely beautiful. The only problem we had was with our server. He may have been new, but he was very dismissive and argumentative with us (we asked for another round of a specific drink we previously ordered, he brought the wrong drink and was arguing with us trying to convince us that it was the correct drink). Other than that, we had a great time there and got some beautiful pictures. Would definitely go back!
