We started shopping at the Philadelphia print shop next door and found some unique antique prints, then capped it off with an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere made it such a memorable night. Highly recommend both stops if you’re in Wayne!

Date night done right! My wife and I loved the bar at At The Table tonight. The cocktails were truly interesting, new, and creative—not your typical drink menu. Highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic after-dinner experience! ⭐

My husband and I had a great time dining here. The service was great, everyone was very polite and attentive. The food was delicious but a couple of the main dishes were a bit salty to our taste (the Beef & veal bolognese & the Ricotta tortellini). The wild mushroom toast appetizer was outstanding and a big portion. The grilled octopus was very good as well. The pear drink was divine (I like sweet cocktails). Looking forward to going back.

Let me start with the service and cocktails. Both were excellent! Now the food. Maybe the main Chef wasn’t present or something happened with kitchen staffing. It was Black Friday, but still that is no excuse. We ordered the Colossal Shrimp and Crab Claw cocktail and the Olive Focaccia to start. The shrimp was colossal but the crab “claws” were 4 tiny little legs. You know, the ones with barely any meat. Then came an even more embarrassing plate…the olive focaccia. 4 pieces of pseudo cold and what seemed like days old focaccia with a few sliced Kalamata olives sprinkled on top. Not baked into the bread, but just placed on top. And no hot honey and fried onions as the menu states. Our entrees were also questionable at best. One dish was the Wagyu with a side of creamed kale. If this was Wagyu, it was the toughest I’ve ever had. Sliced relatively thin, I still had to saw through it with a steak knife. The cream kale had so much bread crumb topping that every bite felt like a mouth full of creamed saw dust. We were just so puzzled! I’m surprised they just didn’t 86 the Crab Claws, focaccia and Wagyu dishes. Unless this is what they serve all the time and didn’t update their menu verbiage (and cost!). This was so unfortunate since it was our anniversary. To make up for this awful anniversary food experience we headed to our normal and always solid, go-to, Teresa’s Cafe for a drink, a few bites. Sorry At The Table, but that experience was unacceptable.

At the Table in Wayne is a true gem on the Main Line. Not only is the food exceptional, but the atmosphere and service are so warm and inviting. Cocktails and wine, A+. Oysters were outstanding. We also loved and would recommend the mushroom toast, grilled flank steak and braised rabbit pasta. We felt so taken care of by Chef Alex and his team. Our waitress Cece was very thoughtful and attentive throughout our meal. Thank you for creating such an elevated and special dining experience, I cannot wait to return. If you are reading this and looking for a reason to go, just do it! You will not regret it.

GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. KITCHEN WAS IMMACULATE AND ON DISPLAY FOR ALL TO SEE. We had the charcuterie board and shrimp and crab claw cocktail for appetizers. The cheeses and meats were savory and in surprising combos. The shrimp were huge and tender, cooked to perfection. The crab claws were a perfect guilty pleasure. I had the lamb chops and my girlfriend had the Bronzino. Both were delicious and well portioned. I don't typically do lamb as it tends to taste gamey. I asked for the lamb medium rare to cook off some of the gaminess. It came out rare, but did not taste at all gamey. So they get a knock for not following directions, but it was still delicious. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for here is a clean intimate and elegant dining experience. Perfect for an anniversary dinner.

I sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. I ordered the foie gras and dover sole for my entree. I had some dietary restrictions and Michael as well as the chef, were very understanding and accommodating. The foie gras and dover sole were both cooked perfectly! The chef and Michael are amazing and I hope to return soon. The restaurant was casual and beautiful. The food and service were outstanding.

Excellent dining. We came three times over the last 2 years, and it seems to get better and better. The service is SUPER attentive, fast and well informed. The food is fresh, well presented and allows you to discover new tastes. I loved the white and green asparagus with egg. The asparagus was perfect, but you can say that about everything. It’s nice to have a Main Line restaurant that aspires for more!

We finally got there this weekend for a night out with my wife and sister in law. The food was out of control delicious and incredibly crafted. We had a tough tim picking an app or two, so sampled a few which were just top notch, delicious and incredible. Colossal shrimp with the toppings, lamb meatballs, and the famous mushroom toast were all exquisite. The drinks were different and incredible, and I can't say enough about the service. We were treated like celebrities by everyone on their staff. Tara and Alex have done an incredible job with everything from the design, food and service. We can't wait to get back there again!!!

Came here twice for dinner. Got the tasting menu the first time and ala carte the second time. Food: 4 Decor: 4 Service: 4 Six Course Tasting Menu, 125 Amuse bouche ~3/5. Nice start - think it was a salmon mouse on either cucumber or wonton chip. Langoustine toast ~4/5. Tasty and quite decadent with the langoustine, uni, and caviar. Forgot the other tasting menu dishes, but overall was quite tasty. Seafood tower, 150 ~4/5. Tasty and a huge variety of different seafood that included lobster, oysters, scallops, caviar, and ahi tuna. NY strip and braised beef cheek, 60 Tallegio potato gratin, braised baby spinach, red wine bordelaise ~4/5. Tasty, although there was one piece of beef that was slightly too chewy. Service was great both times, and the executive chef was very nice.

Food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Chef Alex visits all the tables and makes great conversation. You're checked on frequently but not an annoying amount. The mushroom toast is really fantastic, so was the short rib. All of the plating is beautiful, which matches the vibe of the restaurant. The new location is beautifully decorated and very cohesive. It feels upscale yet cozy. Note: they are still BYOB, but they do have a cocktail menu too.

The tasting menu at At The Table is definitely in the running for my favorite BYOB dining experience! Every course was extremely well thought-out, with the small details actually being the shining stars. I can't rave enough about the ricotta tortellini (with king crab, uni, & crispy prosciutto), perfectly cooked duck breast (with honey & lavender), & tres leches cake for dessert. All of that amazing food in a BYOB atmosphere that also has live music?? You can't beat it. I hear the restaurant is moving to a bigger location, and that is much deserved. If you find yourself in the philly area, it is worth a stop. Just make a reservation decently far in advance! Food: A+ Drinks: N/A Atmosphere: A- Service: A-

I actually resonated very well with another yelp review (Kevin) on this restaurant. After seeing all the high reviews and recommendations for their tasting menu, I was eager to try this place out with my partner. The stars finally aligned and I had a chance to celebrate my partner's birthday out in Wayne after driving around Pennsylvania chasing fall foliage. Upon arrival, we were seated outside in a tented area. This was a little unexpected as I placed a seat for standard dining, however, we were optimistic when greeted by a hospitable staff and a warm terrace. Not ideal due to the asphalt and uneven surface, but we were here for the food and experience. Let me first say, the staff is amazing! Very hospitable, made us feel at home, and always checked on us with a smile. Cc and I forgot the other young gentleman's name were both phenomenal and knowledgeable. They were the saving grace for this review to be honest. I will say, when dinner started to pick up, we were checked on less, but no harm no foul. Okay, onto the food. The main draw for us to come was the tasting menu, but we had a late lunch and couldn't stomach a 6 course meal, so we opted for a La carte. Butternut squash: Excellent! Very creamy and the creme fresh helped lift the flavors. We licked this bowl clean. Lamb Meatballs: Tahini base with dill and pickled vegetables. Both the base and vegetables were spot on. Right amount of dill to balance the dish and vegetables were pickled perfectly. The lamb, however, was fairly gamy. Now, I'm no culinary expert, but I've had delicious lamb that didn't smell. This had that distinct odor and taste. Chicken of the wood shepherds pie: This one was a bit of a let down. First, it was not served hot, more on the lukewarm side. I'm going to point to the big dinner crowd for this coming out as it did. Now, I've had amazing hen of the wood where it was grilled and seasoned to perfection, and it just melted in your mouth. This one, for some reason, was rubbery. And the pie itself was very one note in my opinion. You got starch and creamy, but that was it. The part that saved this dish was actually the pastry. It was super flakey, buttery, and overall a great bite. The rest, fell flat. Pheasant: This also came out lukewarm. The pheasant was good, but it was on the dry side. Aside from the protein, I felt the rest of the dish needed work. I can see what they were going for, but flavors were not balanced and were not cohesive. You needed to fork every ingredient together to get enough salt and freshness, where I would expect a French restaurant to highlight the main ingredient, the pheasant, and use others to compliment slightly. I found the pheasant a little under seasoned and everything else on the plate dry and rushed together. And lastly, the dish did not look super appetizing. Presentation needed work. Bread pudding: Thinking the pastry in the chicken of the wood was pretty good, I thought this dessert could be a nice finish. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us. The dessert was pretty doughy and on the harder side. Not warm and fluffy. And again, this was lukewarm. The ice cream was 1/3rd melted. I didn't take a picture because it also didn't look super appetizing. Overall, At The Table BYOB did not meet our expectations sadly. I expected more from all the reviews. Coming from Center City and haven eaten at many amazing restaurants in NY and the West Coast, this place missed the mark. Had the prices been lower, I could rate this higher, but for $45 an entree and $22 for some appetizers, I would save your money and eat in the city. Something also super nit picky, but something another reviewer mentioned was silverware sizes and plates were not consistent. I wasn't expecting a Michelin table set, but I would have liked to have the same spoon and plate as my partner for the same meal. This all being said, I am all for second chances and do think it could have been an off day. P.S. I am not sure if I would come back for the tasting menu having not tried it. Apparently, it changes every 2 weeks, which I feel isn't enough time to refine flavors and presentation. From the performance of their a la carte (which I assume is more structured and regular), I would give it some thought before trying. For that price, you can have a phenomenal meal and dining experience in Center City or NY.

The food was ok, the service was great. It was a fun environment, but there's a lot they need to work on in terms of food and service.

Wow. Hosted a brunch for college graduation at this gem. Service could not be better. Varied and good menu. Loved it. Highly recommended. And... we were able to bring wine and champagne. Great.

Called at 9pm for a takeout order when I got off of work (said it closed at 10) and they said the kitchen was already closed. I can't comment on the food , which looked great online. Just be aware of flexible hours.

We were privileged to have dinner on New Year's Eve at this wonderful new restaurant. The six courses of the prix fixe were impeccably prepared and gorgeously presented from oysters to tiger shrimp and beef with foie gras. I'm sure that this will soon be a very difficult reservation to get since there are only 24 seats and the food is better than at any other restaurant in the area. A well- deserved 5 stars. Don't miss it!

Consistently the best restaurant on the Main Line. I love all the tasting menus, which rotate monthly, and I have also been trying the raw bar and their new cocktails, which are also fantastic. The experience of going to At the Table is also driven by their wonderful staff and ambiance; much of the staff has continued from the Louella drive location, which is sign of a good ownership. The new restaurant on Lancaster is spacious and never too noisy, which I often find at other Main Line establishments. I always looking forward to going back.

Sleek new location for this no longer tiny high end place. The decor is modern with clean lines and a cool vibe. Be aware that the menu is limited to 5-6 entrees and same number of apps each night but that covers meat, fish, etc. The meal itself was excellent with the owner/chef visiting each table. Highly recommend but not cheap

Let Down on a Special Occasion Booked a table to celebrate my wife's birthday. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 25 minutes and still weren't seated, while others who arrived later got tables. It was upsetting, especially on such a special occasion for us. Very disappointed with the experience.

The service was excellent but the food was just ok and not worth the extremely high prices. I paid $45 for a tiny portion of pasta that was not anything special. I've had much better meals at high end restaurants in the city for far less. Perhaps I chose the wrong entree but for these prices everything on the menu should be phenomenal. The mushroom toast appetizer was good but again not anything special and for $22 it should be. Also, the place was nice inside but where we sat, every so often I'd get a whiff of sewer in the air. Disappointed and will never return here. Not at all worth it.

Attended a private event here. Chef Alex and Tara provided a spectacular evening. Sesame crusted tuna with wasabi sauce Satay chicken skewer Beef tartare on cracker Shrimp ceviche crisps And my favorite crabcakes was the butlered line up. Then fabulous dinner with fresh oysters, their famous mushroom toasts, duck stuffed pasta in broth, pan seared scallops with bok choy and forbidden rice, filet with romesco sauce and potatoes all topped by deconstructed key lime pie. We were stuffed! This place is a MUST try!

If you're into set menu food. The tent seating was a bit loud and made the atmosphere no so cozy.

SHAME on YOU! My purple rain coat was stolen from your coat closet. You said you viewed the security tape, saw the customer who took it, called the customer, and received no reply. I left you my contact information before I left the restaurant without a coat on a rainy cold night. I called a week later to follow-up and you said you would call me back and again reiterated that you would make this right. You never called me. You thought that comping our meal was enough. It was not. That night I lost the sense of safety. It doesn't matter how good your food is, when management is so horrible. And to the customer who stole my coat, if you could afford that dinner, you could afford to buy your own coat. SHAME on you too! It cost me over $200 to replace my coat and the hat that was lost too.

I had not heard of this place but when I had the opportunity to use their take out service, I was absolutely impressed with their service and food! Of course now they are take out only which is interesting for an upscale super French spot but coordinating meals and pick up was completely easy and their coordinators responded very quickly to my questions. Picking up was like taking an entire catering order in mini size- all the food was completely secure and packaged professionally and the portion sizes insane. Opening up at home I could immediately smell the herbs and still see the delicate sauces added onto the mushroom toast- as if I had just been served at the table. It is indeed all very French food with richness and layering of flavor I could have been at a bistro in the French countryside and they had everything- main course, veg and potato, bread, and dessert. All simple food but created with time and ingredients to take it to a memorable level. I did think the potatoes a bit al dente and dry, but still very cheesy and delicious. And while the dessert was a simply brownie (it was a half pan's worth!) it had that perfect balance of richness to go with tea or coffee.

Dined at the oyster bar on the second day they were open. The new space is palatial compared to the first location. The ambience has a relaxed elegance and the vibe is chill. Our server was a consummate professional.He knew how to handle the high end bottles of wine we brought, made helpful suggestions and added an element of warmth and friendliness to our night out. The captain of the oyster bar for our seafood voyage was Chef Sean. His knowledge of seafood is astounding and he assisted us and making some terrific choices. We chose to get the seafood tower. Highly recommend for all seafood lovers. It is a nice variety of the raw bar offerings. It included elevated, house made versions of the traditional sauces you would have with seafood. I was delighted to find that caviar was included in the seafood tower. Chef Sean encouraged us to experiment with combining the caviar with different elements on the tower. It was great fun! The oyster bar only seats four people, so I highly recommend you make your reservation in advance.

Absolutely incredible food! I love how frequently the menu changes - each visit is a new experience. Every person that works at At the Table makes the dining experience exceptional - they all are warm, accommodating, and informative! We loved At the Table when it first opened, and we've grown to love it even more! We feel so fortunate to live within walking distance of the restaurant. We visit frequently (over 50 times to be exact), and whenever anyone asks for dining recommendations in Wayne, PA, At the Table is our first suggestion! Excellent food, atmosphere, and SERVICE!

Breakfast today was horrible... I thought it was the worst meal of 2018. My wish was that At The Table would be the best meal I had of the year and I really think it was! When we arrived, Alex, the executive chef jokingly (I think) mentioned how my wife has been harassing him all week, which she was... She does that to me every day of my life... Tons of questions, but he said he wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her. It really was. Alex went over the entire menu and said, why I am telling you all of this, you are getting the Wagyu. We tried to order different items of the five course meal so that we could share and maximize our culinary experience. After the second course, I was looking around the room and looking at the Julia Child quote and then I noticed the cookbook in the window. Robuchon caught my eye first, but then the Noma cookbook I acquired this year was in the window too. My wife's only minor complaint was that the menu had a few subtle changes, but I've always been on the other side encouraging that. I'd much rather have a restaurant run out of something then be able to pull it from the freezer or having a ton of unfresh items laying around. With the Noma cookbook, I probably can't prepare any of those recipes, because I don't have access to those ingredients, but it's about acquiring the ingredients around you and making something fantastic with that. At the Table made substitutions from the web menu to what they offered for New Year's Eve, but everything was just so great. The foods complimented themselves with the luxurious theme of New Year's Eve running through all of the dishes. I'm not going to get into what I ordered, because the menu changes. Just don't look at the menu beforehand and just come in for an exciting meal. I am so happy that we didn't host a party this year and instead went out for a meal. The great vibe that the staff all share made us want to start planning our next trip there. Great way to end 2018!

We had an amazing birthday dinner At the Table BYOB. Since it was a special occasion we decided to do the 6 course tasting menu. Each course got better and better. My favorites were the oysters, wild mushroom toast and foie gras. My husband can be a little picky but he enjoyed everything and would definitely return again. The head chef was very entertaining and open to my hubby's critique. And he was happy to substitute anything in the tasting menu. We can't wait to return during the warmer weather. Haven't been for two years... We went for New Year's Eve to ring in 2021 and it was so over priced and not one thing on the menu could my vegetarian daughter eat. When we asked for him if he could do something for her, because she didn't like mushrooms, he was almost quite annoyed. Haven't been back since.

Excellent! 6 courses that was great. Be prepared to take your time and enjoy the delicious food. Highly recommend the chefs menu. Will be back

Tara & Alex recently catered the wedding of my daughter at our home in Radnor. Tara was a delight to work with in choosing the appropriate menu for a very special luncheon that we could serve on our own, due to Covid precautions we were taking. The food was beyond fabulous & I would highly recommend them for any event. Of course dining at their charming location in Wayne is also quite special. Their prompt delivery with detailed instructions & labeling of dishes was invaluable. Oh and did I mention the mushroom toast AND the butternut squash ravioli are a definite must! Delishious ....

We came here in January and we were so disappointed. I usually love small intimate BYO restaurants with tasting menus. But this one misses the mark. The lobster was overcooked. And flavourless. The meat was undercooked. The oysters were the only thing that I really enjoyed.

What an outstanding experience! The entire staff was wonderful. Greeted upon arrival, constant attention ensuring things were satisfactory, plates cleared promptly, water and wine glasses refilled and the kitchen was so accommodating! Our server, My wife is on an elimination nutrition program and, therefore, has several dietary restrictions. Alex, was excellent, thoroughly explaining each dish in detail and working with us to meet her restrictions. The Best Of 1.0 tasting menu was amazing, each course better than the last! My wife started with the watermelon poke bowl and had the swordfish entree modified to avoid the foods she could not eat. The chocolate torte was wrapped to take home so I could enjoy the blueberry lemoncake and corn gelato and my wife was delighted with the sorbet. I've been wanting to visit here for forever and we finally made it and it did not disappoint! Can't wait to visit 2.0 in their new location.

Located in a charming area right next door to Wayne's downtown, At the Table BYOB fell short of my expectations as soon as I sat down. From all the glowing Yelp reviews I had seen, I had added this to my bucket list of local restaurants to hit as COVID subsides and promptly made a reservation for an early summer night. After being sat down in the grassy area with silverware of all shapes, sizes, and colors, we chose to have the St. Louis BBQ Ribs, Mushroom Toast, and Lobster. The ribs were alright--dry in the true style of St. Louis BBQ--though it had more artificial undertones than a tasty profile. The mushroom toast, featured heavily in other Yelp reviews, was much more interesting but a little soggy. The lobster though failed to make much of an impression at all. Taken together, the food was not bad, but I was hoping for tastier food from a restaurant of this caliber and at peak hours. As for service, it was a bit difficult to get a hold of someone to place an order. It took a little bit of time for the food to come out, understandable given the number of diners and the small size of the establishment itself. At the time in this phase of outdoor dining, we were spread out in the park area outside the restaurant, so I certainly appreciated it. Overall, mediocre food, adequate service, but perhaps not somewhere I would return again for this price point.

A stellar modern French dining experience. Both execution and menu composition were nearly perfect. The lobster bisque was light, fluffy, and impossibly eggy. The mushroom toast hit earthy flavors with an ode to truffles. The foie gras was ok. The braised short rib with grits was very good. The nutella cheesecake was flavorful and found a delicate balance of sweet and salty. I was impressed that the head chef came out and greeted me upon arrival. This shows a shameless dedication to excellent service. The meal started with a bread course. The bread was ok. Could have been served warmer and softer, but the flavor was there. The bread was fresh and spongy enough in the crumb with a crisp crust that was just robust enough. The butter was splendid. It was creamy, salty, and smooth like velvet gliding over my positively joyous glistening oral orifice. Next the lobster bisque was pretty much perfect. The server poured the bisque from a ceramic carafe. The bisque base was incredibly fluffy, like almost aerated, yet dense and full bodied. I suspect this was from the kitchen's expert understanding of the emulsive properties of the egg. The flavor was adequately marine, without being overpowering. The lobster meat itself was just a little bit stringy in texture. The mushroom toast was again a stellar plate. The bread, similar to Texas Toast, was generously buttered and then slathered with truffle crême fraiche. The truffle flavor was not overpowering, but respectful of the overful palatability of the dish. The crumb of this bread was soft and chewy and very thick. It was a delightful accompaniment to offset the massive heapload of fresh (cremini?) mushrooms piled high on the two slices. This was a huge portion. The dish brought together earthy flavors from the mushrooms and truffles while balancing well with butter, crême fraiche, and doughy bread. Truly extraordinary. Next came the Foie Gras with Prosciutto accompaniment. This was the least impressive of the dishes. Foie I believe is best served mi cuit (basically seared exterior, raw inside.) This rendition was cooked through which stripped the foie of it's naturally funky buttery meatiness. The flavor was still OK, but it lacked the powerful livery/buttery punch from foie gras I've tasted elsewhere. The texture came to the palate with a more traditional liver pastiness/dryness which was just not quite at the execution level I'd prefer. Still, nevertheless a dish that was OK. Braised short rib was next. The short rib itself was extraordinarily tender and well seasoned. I did find that it lacked enough fat in its flavor profile and was maybe taken just 7-10 degrees to far. Nevertheless, a very tasty piece of meat. The grits were insanely smooth and more buttery possibly than the quiddity of "butterness" itself. If Platonic Forms exist, this was the incarnate Form of buttery smoothness. Just a spectacular complement to the short rib. I finished the meal with a nutella cheesecake. This was good. The flavor of nutella was well captured. The texture was decently smooth, though not incredibly so. The dessert had a fine balance of sweet and salty. I think this sweet ending could be touched up a bit with some added smoothness and the introduction of an acidic fruit sauce. All around, an excellent meal. I found the execution to be on par with some of the Michelin-starred establishments I've dined at recently. Perhaps what was lacking was culinary adventurousness. But, man it was an amazing meal. All my critiques are totally nitpicking. Really great place. Completely worth the money. Get a reservation and go there ASAP.

Amazing food, artfully prepared. I live in NY and travel a lot for work and i can easily say that that this is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, particularly for a rural town. The mushroom toast was bursting with flavor and quite filling for an appetizer. The trout was cooked to perfection and accompanied by an unusual and delicious mushroom. I will definitely be back! As the namee suggests, they don't have a liquor license, so you need to bring your own.

Had a large party and Chef put together a fantastic menu for us. Truly one of the best restaurants on the main line. Can't wait to come back.

I wanted to come here to get the A5 wagyu steak so I made a reservation on New Years Eve for my husband and I. We usually have a party at home every year so I wanted to do something different. I originally wanted to go to a nightclub with an open bar package but no one else did, so this restaurant was a nice compromise for my husband and I. We still got to go out somewhere and get dressed up, but we didn't have to deal with crowded places. They have great attention to detail. When we were seated our table had a sign with our name on it, beads, and a complimentary glass of champagne for New Years Eve which was a nice touch. The Executive Chef/ owner Alex came over to our table to go over the menu details and came back throughout the night to make sure everything was great. He was funny and very personable. He picked on me and made me laugh cause I was bugging him about the menu with a ton of questions a month ahead of time. We had a 5 course tasting menu. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. There was a few minor changes from the original menu on a couple of appetizers, but it wasn't a huge deal. My favorite dish was the wagyu steak obviously, it melted in your mouth and bursted with flavor. The foie gras was my second favorite dish. My husband ordered it but I was stealing some of his. It was probably the best foie gras we've had. The lobster bisque was a little bit darker color than I was expecting I think it could have used a little more cream, but still was good. The ravioli was very good as well. I would have liked a little bigger portions on some of the items. I know they couldn't make the wagyu too big because it's so expensive. But could have used a little more foie gras, and maybe 2 raviolis instead of just 1. My stomach was filled just enough after leaving, which I guess is better than being overstuffed and bloated. But a few hours later I was kind of hungry again and was snacking on stuff at home. Overall we had a great night out and I would like to come back again sometime to check out their regular menu.

Completely unimpressed. I did the tasting menu. Each dish was good but none left me wanting more. Venison course was probably my favorite. Just not that great. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Waiter was excellent though. Bill was over $300 for two without any drinks. Total buyers remorse!

The food and atmosphere was great. The only thing was they changed the menu the day before and I was so looking forward to the foie grois.

I moved to the area around 3 years ago from NYC and have dined at a lot of places in and around Philadelphia. I didn't have a place I loved enough to call it my favorite until I dined here. EVERYTHING was perfection. The food, the service, and the decor/ambiance. The chef and owner came out to chat with us often and it was lovely to learn about his experience and the reasoning behind the grayscale interiors of the restaurant. I highly recommend dining here!!

Amazing. Seating was outdoor due to Covid. They have a small table under the awning and bigger tables under tents across the street in the park. It started to drizzle which didn't slow down the staff of 3 or 4 at all. And then it began to pour. They got soaking wet making certain the patrons had an enjoyable dinner. The food was amazing and the service even better. I tipped the price of my meal. I had mushroom and cream cheese toast, and squid ink spaghetti with crab. Amazingly delicious. Great small spot!!!

Ordered surf and turf pkg for Father's Day. Swordfish was great with peach salsa. Brisket was also good with Romesco sauce but meat was a bit too fatty. Wings were good but a bit dry. Pasta and corn salsa were all good in isolation. The problem was that the Romesco sauce, pasta, and corn salsa all kind of tasted the same. Stuffed mushroom was also not my favorite. Dessert was just rich brownie, which unfortunately I expected a bit more for $100. Will try again when pandemic is over but likely not again during this time.

Had birthday dinner for 5 people. Did the 6 course dinner. Wow- everything was amazing. I dropped off wine earlier in day. When we arrived, wine was decanted and set up. Oysters and Mushroom toast were great starters. Had roasted squab, duck raviolis and rack of lamb. Intimate space and amazing food.

It was such an experience eating at the chef's table tonight. I grant you my wife and I rarely go out but we remember what restaurants are like -- we used go out all the time -- and this is the tops. It's such a rare luxury to have a place like THIS is in this area. Of course the food is all amazing. OK I'll go into some highlights. I loved the wagyu beef with black truffles. Just so soft/tender/buttery but also really flavorful. Sous vide with a searing :) Oh but wait the best part was actually being at the chef's table. My wife and I would be talking and the chefs would occasionally add to our conversation (as we were often talking about the food). I just loved them chiming in. I loved seeing all the food assembled in front of me. Dinner theater! I loved the extra courses. Just such a privilege. OK, back to the food. The lobster bisque was made with such a long reduction that it really was unique (yup, not on the menu, but it just came for our meal.) I loved the maitake mushrooms ; such good flavor. The caviar dish was just fun because there were about five toppings including a scallion mousse that you could just pick up and combine in different ways on a bread, with 3 types of caviar : trout, salmon, and paddlefish. The foie gras was just so indulgent and delicious. The toppings were fun too. I always like escargot and short ribs. And all this comes in one meal! I loved talking to the chefs. Just a great time. We'll be back.

I made a reservation here for our anniversary dinner, and we really enjoyed our dinner! Unfortunately, the tasting menu wasn't available that evening, but we were able to order from the a la carte menu. They were really good about accommodating for my wife's gluten allergy, making adjustments as necessary. For appetizer, we decided to split the roasted beet salad. It tasted nice and fresh, with some good dressing, and it was nice to start with some veggies. We ended up each ordering a main course, and then another to split - scallops, duck, and the filet. All the proteins tasted wonderful - perfectly cooked! I've never had a filet with such a perfect crust on it, and the duck was nice and tender. Portions were a bit small, though, which is why we split another entree. We also ordered some desserts, and they tasted good, but textures on the pot de creme and creme brulee were a little weird. Overall, everything tasted great, and service was really good. A bit pricey, but I suppose to be expected for the Main Line. I would come back to try the tasting menu sometime!

Food was great. Portion sizes were good too. You don't feel over-served. Service was wonderful as well. Had: mushroom toast, ribs, brisket, and scallops. Ribs and brisket were very moist. Scallops were juicy and sweet. Mushroom toast was amazing.

Quaint BYOB in the heart of Wayne. We went on a Friday evening and sat inside. There is a tent for outdoor seating. A complimentary aperitif, salmon salad (?) with a pickled onion, was delicious. My husband started with the Mahi tacos (fresh and well seasoned) and I with the infamous mushroom toast. The mushroom toast is what dreams are made of, I could have easily made a meal out of this alone. We then had the scallop and steak entrees, both of which were very good and cooked to perfection. We were full and were going to pass on dessert but after finishing our wine, decided to share the beignets. OMG, this was the best fried dough we have ever had the pleasure of consuming! Alex, his staff, and his food are delightful. Go and enjoy!

We went and sat outside on a lovely evening. It was busy, service was slow, which is expected, covid issues. Our waitress was a sweet, almost every member of the staff ask how we were. I have NEVER had a better Covid dinning experience, I would make a reservation here now! We got the Brie toast, oysters, and wings. AMAZING! I highly highly highly suggest the crab. There good thing about now really being able to share is you get more! MAKE A RESERVATION! I never Yelp and all I wanted to do was tall everyone how amazing everything was.

Phenomenal restaurant in Wayne about 20 miles west of the city. It was a bit of a trek out, but totally worth it! Their Sunday Supper is a amazing deal. It includes 4 carefully thought out and meticulously plated courses for $45. While the courses are not enormous, they provide more than enough sustenance. The meal began with an amuse bouche of butternut soup. It was a pleasant start. The first course consisted of house smoked trout toast and mushroom bisque. I don't usually enjoy smoked fish, but I took a gamble and thoroughly enjoyed it. The mushroom soup was luscious. The second course continued with foie gras and beet carpaccio. The foie was cooked to a perfect temperature and had elements of sweet, savory, and also acidity from pickled mustard seeds. The beet dish was as expected, however didn't compare to the foie. For the third course, we had the duck confit gnocchi and fettuccini carbonara. The gnocchi was well seasoned and fluffy. The carbonara was taken to another level with the rich Jidori egg on top. The meal concluded with a chocolate cake and peanut butter mousse. From start to finish, each course was executed well with many different elements to each. The technical skill of the chef shined through each plate and we were fortunate enough to have a few words with her after our meal.

The best meal I've ever had on the Mainline. We had the 6 course dinner and it was an amazing culinary journey. Many of the dishes were outside of my normal fare but we are every bite. Perfect for any time you want the best of Philadelphia but don't feel like driving. Definitely in my top 5 meals. Chef came out and talked a few times. He had a relaxed vibe and wanted to please. Highly recommend ending with the bread pudding.

Absolutely phenomenal food. I can not recommend it enough. Get the mushroom toast!! The chef is so personable, and makes you feel super welcome.
