AT&T Store

Goodbye T-Mobile! This longtime customer has switched to AT&T! Nikko and Daniel were very helpful (and friendly!) guiding my family through it all: switching plans, getting new phones, transferring data, ordering home internet, etc. They ensured we got the best possible deal and stuck with us through the whole process. Now I just hope their cell service is as good as their store service...

Daniel and Nico helped me so much. I had a very old phone and expensive plan with another carrier. This was the best experience I’ve had establishing service and purchasing a new phone. They helped find me every deal for my new phone and business usage. I couldn’t be more grateful. It was quick and easy too! thank you thank you!

The staff/employees of this AT&T store are the best, specifically, Riccardo (Ricky). The data on my iphone was blocked for some reason, but I could not figure out why even after going to 3 AT&T stores and the Apple Store and being on the phone for hours with AT&T support on a Saturday and resetting my phone at least 20 times. Ricky was able to figure it out and fix the issue for me. He was so nice, patient, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful! I cannot thank him enough. He turned my awful experience into a positive one and I am grateful! Thank you, Ricky!

The AT&T staff were especially friendly. Sergey was able to get us the phone that we wanted and set it up for us with no hassle! I recommend going to this branch if you need any help.

This is the best AT&T Corporate store in San Francisco! This store is also a little less busy than others, so if you don't want to wait all day to buy your phone or start service, come here! I had a problem that I spent no less than 40 hours on the phone and at other corporate stores trying to resolve (starting service with AT&T but transferring my number from Consumer Cellular). Dead serious, another AT&T corporate store told me I had to switch to Verizon first, then I could switch to ATT, which was rediculous. But, Niko and everyone on his team was patient with with AT&T phone support and was eventually able to get my service working and I was able to keep my phone number, they are the best around.

We had an amazing experience with "Sergey" at AT&T, 3555 Geary Blvd., San Francisco. He went above and beyond to assist us with upgrading to new phones and selecting the perfect plan. Sergey was incredibly patient, even staying after closing hours to help us set up our new phones. He took the time to clearly explain everything, answer all our questions thoroughly, and ensure we were completely satisfied. Thanks to his expertise and friendly attitude, what could have been a stressful process turned into a seamless and enjoyable experience. AT&T is fortunate to have such a dedicated and outstanding representative on their team. I highly recommend reaching out to Sergey if you need assistance! Sidenote; Sergey is very cute too lol....

I've had to wait hours at other AT&T stores. Made an appointment the night before for 9 am. Sergei helped set up a new phone that we couldn't get to transfer a phone line to. He was very responsive and made great efforts to connect with us. He also reviewed our astronomical phone bill (includes tv, Internet), and provided cost savings recommendations. Excellent service! Thank you Sergei!

Came here on a Monday around 5:30 after work thinking I could just have them help me erase my phone and turn it in since I had the new phone. I had already been using it and i have been so busy was just one day shy of the deadline of the rebate. There was a few people ahead of me but I didn't mind and at the time there was only one person. Later a few minutes before they were supposed to close another employee came out! He told me that I was sharing cloud account with my family and the primary owner had to turn off the location. I couldn't see who i was sharing an account with and as far as I knew, I wasn't sharing. My parents were in China and older so they wouldn't be able to do this on their own so i was worried. He said i should call AT&T and ask for an extension but i was on hold for 30 minutes+ and never spoke to anyone. My sister suggested I talk to apple and they were able to virtually assist me in a matter of minutes. I went back the next day in the morning and another employee said that the steps needed to be completed were super easy and that it should have been taken care of yesterday. He said it was probably because they were about to close. Disappointing and frustrating to hear that i shouldn't have had to make a second trip and that this seems to be normal thing that happens. Not sure why I wasn't assisted properly when my situation was done in a few minutes. Poor service on the employee from my first trip but 5 stars to the employee on my second trip!

If you like being the only customer in a store where the 4 dudes working are actually watching movies on the big screen, and tell you to call customer service because they can't help you, this is the experience for you. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with customer service while standing in there store, customer service told me everything was resolved but the in-store employee said there was still something wrong with my account. He suggested the bill hadn't been paid (it had), then suggested I made a mistake with completing something on the website. My issue still isn't resolved after 4 trips to the store and 3 phone calls to customer service. One thing this store did sell me on is the value of choosing another cell phone carrier.

Worst store I've ever been in, cell phone or otherwise. If I could give zero stars I would. The reps are nice enough but clearly not trained on protocol for how to do more complicated transactions. I've burned literal hours of my life in this store for the last two days trying to get something done that multiple phone reps at ATT said could only be done in store only to have the store reps *shrug* "nothing we can do." Never setting foot in the store again and likely canceling my ATT service.

Worst experience ever. I came in to set up a new line after previously being in a contract with AT&T. I visited the AT&T store on Geary in SF, where an Asian lady assisted me. She had me input my information multiple times and took several pictures of my ID during the process. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, they finally informed me that their system was down, but only after I had given them my information over ten times. Despite the issues, they still made me pay for the service. Later on, I discovered they had entered random information, including incorrect emails and a PIN to access my phone. The service was incredibly unprofessional, and there was little to no selection offered during the process. To make matters worse, the value for what I paid was disappointing, given the chaotic experience and mistakes made. Overall, it was a frustrating and poor experience.

This is THE store to go to if you have a business account. Felipe, the new manager, has the customer's interests at heart and provides phenomenal service for complicated transactions. The store has markedly improved since his arrival.

I've been going to this att store since 2006. Never had a problem. Don't know what happened in that time frame but get ready to read this horror story. I had a pixel 2, 3 and half years old. Figured it was time for an upgrade. I made an appointment with att early in the morning cause I just wanted to get it done with. I told them what I want and they got it for me. They got me an iPhone 12 and I said cool, I'll pay in full. They said they didn't do that anymore, had to be monthly installments. After arguing about it for a couple mins, I said whatever, just bill me. I walked out with an iPhone 12. 2 days later, the phone stops working. It receives no service. I was so confused, I went back to att and they said it was an apple problem, something is wrong with the hardware, you need to go to apple to fix this. I go to apple, made an appointment with a genius and they ran a diagnostic, they said it was an att problem, you are going to have to go to them. I go back to att and they said it was an apple problem, there is nothing we can do. I go back to apple, told them about att and they said they will replace the phone. I got a new iPhone 12 and it only wasted 2 days of work..... The next day, I got the bill. The bill says there is 6 lines on my plan. Strange thing is I only have 5 family members on this plan. The bill has a new number added and this number has an iPhone 12 Pro with apple care. We go back to att, telling them to take off this phone line. They said only a manager can take it off, he will be in tomorrow and he will give you a call to confirm. The next day comes, no call..... We go back in and ask them, hey we didn't get a call, take this phone line off now. They told us the manager is in Vegas and will do that after the weekend on Monday. Now, here comes the craziest part, they are asking me to return this iPhone 12 Pro if you want the line off. I never got an iPhone 12 Pro. Please please, someone tell me what I need to do.

Preface: At&t is a crappy corporation that funds insurrectionists, over charges for services that should be available to everyone, and has a history of really bad business practices... this review is not about AT&T but instead about the workers at the Geary and Stanyan location. I had a long afternoon at this location last week trying to get a new phone and transfer all of my data from a dying phone. During this time I saw the staff juggle multiple clients while getting yelled at by some self-entitled jerk who came in with a really bad attitude, dealing with all kinds of questions from a constant influx people, and dealing with my stoneage-ass who has limited technological skills beyond using a bow and arrow. The staff here are patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and I would also guess underpaid af. Staff: 5.2/5 At&t: 1/5 (pay your workers a living wage)

The best service with Christian and Ricky!!! Great experience, they have great energy, and were extremely helpful!!

This is THE one. Everyone was super professional and friendly. Brooklyn made an issue which had taken well over an hour over the phone with customer not-service seem like the easy peasiest thing ever. Still not enamored of ATT, communication company where communication is not a priority. I'm not even sure why we're still with ATT for our business line and uverse, but after visiting this location I'm not feeling the need to switch immediately.

Blessing at the AT&T store was awesome! I had a horrible issue with a stolen iPhone and no iOS would go higher on my old devices. Apple could not help me. Apple tried to make me wait a month and then another month to download any of my information on my phone. I went to the AT&T store and saw Blessing. She helped me with everything blessing was awesome. I did not have to wait for help, although I took a lot of her time. I highly recommend her at this AT&T store. It is beyond five stars to me.

The account rep named Blessing was fabulous!! She got me all setup with directtv streaming easily and efficiently! I totally recommend this AT&T store!

The worst customer service. Attitude, attitude, attitude. They had us waiting there. Wouldn't check in with us while we were waiting. When I asked them what was taking so long we were met with attitude.

Called this location asking if they had the new iphone XS in stock. They said yes, so I went in right away. Nobody greeted me and I only saw one worker who was busy so I sat down. Another worker came out but they seemed to already be busy with a customer. 3 people walk in and she greets them and asks them to right their name down for a waitlist to be helped. Oh ok, well how about me too? So I jump on the waitlist. I proceed to wait over an hour, only to then be told there are no iphone XS in stock and haven't been any all day. ok thanks for wasting my sunday afternoon.

Came into the store yesterday, Saturday at 2pm to get assistance setting up a new phone that AT&T mailed to me. Guess the old phone which is actually less than two years old will not work after February 2022. The guy sitting inside the store looked irritated as he was texting when I walked in and refused to help and he told me to call AT&T support. So I left and called them today. They went ahead and made me an appointment to get the new phone up and running at a different AT&T store. They also did tell me that the staff at 3555 Geary Blvd should have been able to do this for me easily. Worst customer service ever and it's a shame because I have been going to this particular store for over a decade. Working in customer service myself it was hard to believe the rudeness and I will definitely never set a foot in this shop again for any reason!

Went here thinking that it would be easier to upgrade my phone in person versus doing it online. I was wrong. The associate wouldn't even tell me if he had the phone in stock for 30-40 minutes, he kept trying to sell me on internet, then their TV plan, then an internet trial, then TV again, then business internet. The part I really didn't like...each time I would decline his upsell, him and another associate would go into the back to "check on inventory" and then he would come back out saying "we're still checking on inventory but would you be interested in __________". I probably said "I'm not interested, I am just here to upgrade my phone" 5 or 6 times. I was so put off by the whole thing that I just left w/o upgrading my phone. Totally understand he is just doing his job but it ended up being a waste of time for both of us.

The service I received in the Geary AT&T Store was remarkable. I was helped by the manager and a handsome 19-year-old employee, who both demonstrated the upmost courtesy toward me. I went in to purchase a new phone, and I feel I scored a terrific price: free, I just paid the tax of $76.50. I really appreciated that when I expressed interest in trading in an iPhone 6 the manager/employee team helped me to understand that it could be useful as a temporary back-up phone should my current phone become unavailable for any reason. Not even a week later, their advice really help when a family member lost their phone! The manager/employee team were kind and personable, shared a bit of their 'real' lives outside of the AT&T Store, and invited me to share also. Their listening & comprehension skills exceeded any service I had received from an AT&T Store employee in the past.

Hands down THE best AT&T store we have ever been. I live much closer to the stores located near Serramonte and Tanforan mall. Both of these stores have never given me as much attention and help compared to this one. Ady and her team definitely gives top notch customer service. Fast, friendly, and most of all, RELIABLE. Can't thank this location enough for all of their hard work! Once again, thank you very much to Ady and her team for all of their help!

very disappointed, after cancelling 2 lines in dec2020, I found out I been paying for them for 2 years, there is no record of that any where, I was told I need to keep the confirmation no forever. an agent offers a credit line get disconnected other agent denies any credit. complete disappointment, do not recommend att to anyone. this is a robbery.I am forced to choose a star, they do not deserve it.

ALL BE WARNED!!! Walked into this store hoping for decent customer service, what I got was months of problems to date!!! As soon as anyone walks in the selling pitches start, I witnessed plenty as I had to return numerous days! If it was just selling pitches I wouldn't even mind, but this was the least of their mistakes! All I wanted was a simple phone upgrade, and WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION THEY ADDED A WHOLE NEW LINE to my account! They said the promotion I was signing up for was a "trade in ". It was not I got a $500 bill with an extra phone number!! I went back several times to the same Ass. manager who always told me "he's working on it" it's been 3 months now and I've had to call another office to fix! This is the most unacceptable experience ever!! Never going back to this store!!

Warning: Don't come to this att store location. The people who work here are horrible and have no idea about customer service at all. They will do everything when they're trying to sell you stuff. They will even lie to you to sell their services. After that they will ignore you and will refuse to help you even though they are the one causing you months of trouble and headache. I was told to go to this store and return a phone by att loyalty dep manager. It would have been simple return instead I spent the whole day at this store asking their help/ almost begging but completely ignored by all of their representatives. The guy called Chase is the manager who was completely avoiding me. No wonder since he lied to me to sell service. A very rude girl called herself also a manager of the store was not willing to help me at all. I was being very patient trying to resolve the issue that they caused but they just don't care at all. I wonder how on earth these people are working at customer service position and how come this att store is still open after so many horrible reviews and complaints on Yelp. Seems like they're so used to treating customers horribly. While I was having trouble at this store, another man had a similar issue and they were also refusing to help that man as well. I've been att customer for a very long time and never had this horrible experience ever. TERRIBLE!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Hi I came in here with my pup today and was met with nothing but kindness and great service! To me and my dog! The awesome women today (all three) we're dealing with stressful customers that were impatient and not so nice but they remained so kind and so helpful! I walked out of there with my new phone and would go back in a second! Thankful for this store and the great customer service! Be kind customers remember most things are out of their control! thank you ladies!

Worse customer service ever. Don't bother making an appointment they ignore you and serve others while you wait. Poor communication and no accountability for our service from the store manager Vince (very rude and condescending). Go anywhere else but this store for AT&T service help.

This particular location is HORRIBLE ! I went in asking them a particular question about helping me set up a phone and was told that they don't help and that I should do everything myself. I've never dealt with such unprofessional and rude clowns who don't even deserve to work at McDonald's. I hope ATT gets rid of either current staff or just simply closes down this particular location. I am a loyal AT&T cuztomer and this is beyond insane. Shame on you AT&T !

BEWARE! Ported my number over and the told me if I signed up as a business it would save me $. When I asked how much a single line business plan would cost they assured me it would be $60/ month.. same as individual plan. First bill arrives and I'm shocked to see they conveniently forgot to mention there was an additional per line access fee hidden in the fine print and that it would be more like $140. Called customer service and they agreed that they should not have pushed a business plan for my situation. Currently filing a complaint with corporate and attempting to get a refund. This was either super shady or super incompetent of the employees here.

Very rude crew who doesn't know how to help customers. They just recommend to call customer service.

I had a problem with my free email account from AT&T. After spending far too much time on the phone with Yahoo and AT&T, they said I had to go to an AT&T store to reset my password! I was incredulous. I went to the store on Geary, where the first employee had no idea what I was talking about, which is what I expected. What I didn't expect, was that the manager knew exactly what to do, and did it. In 5 minutes the password was reset and my email was back. I'm sorry I didn't get the manager's name. I thought my afternoon was ruined, or worse. Thank you.

Verifying Let's make sure it's you I'm with AT&T since 1970 and now I have to verify It's me? How ridiculous.  I have many other accounts where more $$$ transactions go and they know me.  The best one is Amazon. Did someone at AT&T get promotion for coming up with this stupidity?

A T & T the firm has a well deserved reputation for poor customer service. We ended up at this store because the firm has clumsy and incomprehensible policies that are found few other places. That said, when we went into this particular location, Gladys took care of business. She took an issue that their Corporate help line could not understand and dealt with it. We had something that should have taken five minutes on the phone, if that. Instead, we were pulled into the store with handfuls of paperwork. Gladys was stuck dealing with a Corporate rep on a phone line, giving her official identification, explaining the simplest things over and over to the Corporate buffoon who couldn't get anything straight. We spent about an hour watching her patiently repeat things in increasingly simple terms a child could understand until it finally clicked for the Corporate rep. While it was completely maddening, and certainly was so for her, she didn't lose her grace or manner. Professional throughout. My opinion of A T & T hasn't changed. Please, for your sanity, use another carrier. If however, you are unfortunate enough to have A T & T as your carrier and you need help, go to Geary and Stanyan. Ask for Gladys. She'll do you right.

I am shocked as I stand in this store. The store supposed to open at 10. I arrived at 1030.. doors are locked. Finally about the time I was ready to walk away a very disheveled guy walks up not saying a word and begins to unlock the door. I asked what time do you open? he said "not early enough". Then he walks in and goes to the back room and doesn't come out. I stand another 10 minutes and finally knocked on the door. I ask are you open? He looked at me and said.. no. I left.

Don't get AT&T tv is such a scam, switched from Directv. You pay $60 for the same channels and it slows your Wifi to the point that if I use a Nintendo switch I can't watch tv. Came to the store only one rep and 10 people waiting inline. It took me two hours to finally talk to someone. It turns out I should of never been offer this service. It's sad that this store only cares about screwing you. So after a couple of months of frustration and paying extra $ for crappy tv. Finally getting answers.

Terrible customer service. Instead of spending time researching the issue, they conveniently blamed Apple. It was not an iPhone issue. The phone number had not been ported over properly by AT&T.

I have tried to get into this store for four days in a row and every time it was locked. Today at 2:30 I found a sign on the door "at lunch " which stayed in place for the following three hours. After so many bad reviews why is still nothing done? You apparently don't give a damn about your customers.

Service technician leaves without finishing installation. That must cost extra, but who knows when the hired help is so fickle!

This store hands down has the most incompetent workers. The asian guy who claims to be the manager or whatever with 15 plus years is useless and does deliver on anything he promises. He helped my a while back and gave me a very bad plan. When i went in the following year to change the garbage plan he gave he said wow someone really got over on you. He was the same guy who helped me. This guy is utterly useless. Avoid this store at all cost you will waste your time there waiting for a bunch of empty promises that they cannot deliver on. Go to the powell location they are 10x more knowledgeable and get you in and out and fix all your issues and concerns at the same time.

My girlfriend and I were trying to merge our AT&T accounts and the process seemed simple online. However, a couple steps in and we hit an error message that couldn't be surpassed. The customer service line that might have been able to help wasn't open, so we decided to try our chances at a store. From past personal and witnessed experiences, I was a little worried the visit was going to be excruciating. But I was pleasantly surprised to find great service, providing a quick and easy resolution to our problem. We were helped as soon as we walked in the door (just a half hour before closing) and were out of the store in no more than 15 minutes. On the rare occasions where I do need that in-person assistance, I will not hesitate to come back to the Geary location.

I went to this store yesterday (Christmas Eve) because my phone wasn't charging. There were four salespeople, all 20-something males, standing around in business casual with employee ID badges. There were no other customers in the store. I was feeling a little under the weather, was a little shabby in my dress, and my beard was scraggly. They looked at me and I could FEEL the contempt. They did not want to help and they were not going to help. They told me to go to the Apple Store since AT&T doesn't "make phones". I pointed out that I had been to this very store several months before and someone had used a little brush device to clean out the power socket and gotten it working again. The one who seemed like the manager looked at me with an incredulous expression, as if I had asked him to come to my house to scrub the toilet bowl. He took out his key and, sarcastically it seemed, suggested that he could poke that into the hole but that he might ruin the phone & that would be my problem. When you have this kind of low-paying job and are compelled to work on holidays, it can make you pretty sour, I guess, but I thought: if these are the kind of people they're hiring now, and this is the kind of customer service I can expect, I'm moving on once this contract is up. I wonder who wrote all the glowing reviews you see here? I assure you, they were not written by garden variety customers who came in needing any kind of help. They kind of smell like inside jobs.

I have been here 3 times now helping others (I do not have ATT Wireless myself). All three times the person helping me was knowledgeable and helpful. The advice given was good and the issues were either resolved or I walked away with a clear idea of what to do next. The down side is that each time the wait was long. This is a small store in a high volume area. So don't expect to get out of there in less than 30 minutes.

Customer service is literally non-existent at this AT&T retail store. I came in on a Monday morning to try and upgrade my phone. Not only was I not greeted nor approached by a representative, but I also had to endure being ignored by them as well while they talked aimlessly in a group in the middle of the store. What is this? Middle school? By the time I was able to infiltrate and get some help...I didn't even want to deal with them anymore. I admit, I just straight up and left and headed to an authorized retailer on Irving instead.

Came in to port in my number to at&t. Jin was very professional and got things done quick. There was a little wait time, but I totally understand. Overall happy with my experience. Before coming here I actaully called att to port in my number. People over the phoen seemed untrained and they kept forwarding my call to the "right person". The wait time was long too. So glad I can get my problem solved in local.

We were having the most terrible time with AT&T, my father had passed away and it seemed like it was impossible to remove him and his line from the account. We went to three different stores, every time they said they would handle it after we left and nothing happened. No notes in the system, no changes made, and finally we came to this store and that is when things changed. First I want to say that AT&T and their service get 0 stars, but that ADY and her team were incredible. She specifically is why I am writing 5 stars on this review. Without Ady following up and literally texting my mom and I day and night for weeks with status updates and helping us through this terrible process I do not think it would have ever been completed. Overall, Ady, Anastasiia, and Dennis were shining lights in the darkness that is AT&T service and support. I am so thankful that AT&T has team members like them, especially Ady. Her follow up and follow through was inspiring. I have never seen such amazing support across any consumer facing business. She was so amazing My mom even suggest we get her a gift or flowers to thank her. Stay tuned Ady those are coming your way in the next couple weeks. Been here for 20 minutes and not one associate has acknowledged me. All I need is to purchase a new charging chord. I actually think I am invisible and they cannot see me, since 2 other customers have come in, been acknowledged and one even helped with an accessory purchase. I would leave, but I am out of town and need a charging chord. Maybe if I walk out with it, I will GET THEIR ATTENTION!!!!

Joseph afileje is the best helper I have ever had with my at&t experience!!! The amount of knowledge Joseph has, is great. He is also courteous and patient. Sadly, I ask the same questions over and never get a look of The entire store has remarkable employees . I have been to other stores and they also show you the door after a certain time. Not here.... I was told that if we (paid more) to upgrade our service, all would be super duper! Faster! Zowie! Zing bang! Crap. Not only did it get slower, we have no internet in the bedrooms at all anymore, I have to stand outside to make a call (and it was fine before the 'upgrade') and Direct TV no longer works in two of the bedrooms. I've called twice for tech support, and twice got told I never called at all. Paying for service that doesn't work. On top of that, tried to use the insurance I pay every month for to get a replacement for my broken phone. Went through all the steps and was told we would get a newer phone with more memory. My autistic son was thrilled. Then, after he sits waiting for the mailman for days, I go to the website to track the shipment, and the claim had disappeared. I get someone on the phone who tells me I had to complete the claim. I told them I did and was told the claim had been completed and approved. Then she tells me oh well, let's do it now. She has all the claim info they told me I hadn't sent in. She goes on to tell me the phone he'd get is the same crap phone he had to begin with. THATS why they dropped the claim - they didn't want to send the better phone. I'm writing this because my autistic child is crying that I lied to him and he doesn't trust me now. Thanks, ATT for the crappy service, no tech support and what sure seems like an insurance scam. Avoid ATT at all costs. Worst service ever.

This is for the customer service center. I have never mistrusted a company more than I have with AT&T. .... Nevermind, not going to waste anymore of my energy these incompetent people.
