"Residents of Carroll Gardens have a new place for croissants. You can get classic viennoiserie, like pain au chocolat, and more creative options like savory gruyère and rosemary torsade at Atelier Ariana. " - will hartman

Wow wow wow! I haven't tasted croissants and pastries this good since I lived in France. I've been to this beautiful new cafe 3 TIMES in their first week. I've tried the plum butter cake, financier, pain au raisin, almond & chocolate croissant, plain croissant, cookies – everything is so incredibly delicious. Baked fresh and so buttery. And I love that the chai latte is not too sweet! Lovely place to sit and work on a weekday. Good WiFi and a very nice bathroom downstairs. I will be back again and again!

Feels like a little cozy French nook within Brooklyn! It is worth a visit for the delectable plum cake. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It’s female owned and the baker trained in Paris and it shows! I can’t wait to visit for years to come ❣️ yes chef!

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the baked goods and coffee are amazing! They nail the classics like croissants and pain au chocolat but what really impressed me was the plum cake. Definitely stop in if you’re in the neighborhood!

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood - relaxed atmosphere with meticulously baked pastries. The owner and chef so clearly loves her craft, and it shows in the quality of every treat on offer. I love the attention to season (plum cakes recently changed to pear cakes!), cant wait to return.

Absolutely delicious! Chef Ariana is amazing and I tried a variety of pastries which were all great (not all pictured here, got to visit a few times haha). I especially enjoyed the almond pain au chocolat and the chocolate cupcake, as well as the cheesy savoury pastries.

I stopped by this cafe on my last day in Brooklyn. Maybe the best croissant I've ever had! Seriously. I was there a few weeks ago and I'm still craving it.

Such delicious treats! I tried almost everything during my visit and can't wait to come back. This is also a great spot to "work from home".

I recently visited Atelier Ariana Café in New York, and I was blown away by the quality of their croissants and pastries! The croissant was buttery, flaky, and simply perfect. Each pastry I tried was equally delicious, with a rich, fresh taste that made it clear they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere of the café is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great pastries. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Holy bakery Batman! Across from Smith & 9staiom. Baker went to Le Cprdon Bleu & these pastries are beyond! There's a slew of new bakeries in Brooklyn & this one takes the cake to coin a phrase. Lots of goodies. Gorgeous bright Brooklyn corner. Ate: Plum cake $5 Plum cake of my dreams with a whole plum inside. Wowza!

Yelp
Special thanks to our friend who brought a delicious selection from Atelier Ariana to our apartment for brunch! I don't know the official names, but we tasted their apple cake, vanilla cake, and chocolate cake. All were tasty, but the chocolate cake stole the show for me.

Yelp
I've walked, bicycled, and driven past this place no less than one hundred times before I realized that it was there. I walked in, and I grabbed a Pear and an Apple cake. I took them home and I devoured them. Both were very delicious. Easy access via the F/G trains means that I'll be returning. It also means that I'll be gaining some weight.

Yelp
I realize that there's a good chance that social media will ultimately lead to the destruction of society as we know it, but on the flip side, Instagram did just lead me into this quiet alleyway where a lovely woman has been baking delicious French pastries throughout the pandemic...so it's basically a wash. As I understand it, Ariana moved to Brooklyn from Paris with the intention of opening a storefront. Then that whole pandemic thing happened, and long story short, she's been operating out of her home for a year. (We're the ones who are slacking, and haven't been there 'til now.) I heard about the pop-up croissant shop on Saturdays (11-6!) from a friend who's savvier with the internets than I am, but Ariana is also offering classes and custom orders, just check the website for info. If you find yourself in Carroll Gardens on a Saturday afternoon though, swing by Dennett Place and pick up some pastries. Pain au chocolat, croissant, the blood orange cake special...I promise, everything was delicious. However, my personal favorite at Atelier Ariana and in life, are the escargot pastries. Pain aux raisins, and whatever you call the one with pistachios...I love these things. Get some, and grab an extra for me. And get there early. She sells out of things, and if I don't get some pain aux raisins, this friendship is over.
