Best Dim Sum Restaurants in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Atlantic Seafood serves dim sum favorites like the egg white snow bun, mini pineapple salted egg yolk bun, egg tarts, mango pudding, and fried turnip cake. Although most of the dishes are above par, the star is the mini pineapple salted egg yolk bun that is carried out on trays fresh from the oven. The restaurant is among a select few left in Los Angeles that still use push carts. Atlantic Seafood also sells a number of its dim sum frozen for takeout." - Kristie Hang

Lobster noodle special $16.99 is only available with minimum purchase $20 or more also the noodle and sides additional, $26 roasted duck has a minimum of 3 main course purchase and only available evening. The tea taste was very generic, charged my 10yrs old tea count(told me all tea count over 4yrs old), old school dim sum cart is authentic and give it a thumbs up because a lot of restaurants are no longer doing dim sum carts no more. Haven’t tried other seafood yet, but the noodle with lobster was too small and over fried, that’s what you may get for a special I guess. Total gross charge of $60-$6tax-$6tea count= $48 net with 4 dim sum flat fee of $5 plus a lobster noodle for 4 people sounds very fair. Only need to improve the food and tea quality bit more toward a higher end quality seafood restaurant with more attractive pricing.

One of THE BEST dim sum places I’ve ever had anywhere. I went in for dim sum and a different day for dinner service. The dimsum here is traditional with rolling carts. The dim sum here is cheap per order and the lobster and pecking duck deal is so cheap. The duck is crispy and the lobster is super good. The only downside is the service is your typical Asian restaurant service where it’s 50/50, sometimes it seems like the waiter didn’t like being requested a few things, but that didn’t bother me at all. Met the owner and he was very sweet and excellent customer service too. Overall a solid pick for dim sum.

Google
Good dim sum stop. Currently the dim sum is at a discount, $4.38 on weekdays and $5.38 weekends/holidays. Go while the promotion is on. I feel that they have a larger dim sum selection than most places and they still use carts to let you see and pick what you like. Food tastes great and service was good.

Google
Great selection. Made a Google reservation. I'm not sure they had it but they had the space we needed. Carts came fast. Tripe was one of the best dishes of the day. I would say baked char siu bao over the steamed. Enjoyed turnip cakes grilled to order! Always want that crisp top.

Ordered 4 dim sum, and a few other dishes. Everything taste bad. One dim sum tased like left overs from days ago. Unfortunately I ate some before realizing it. Had diarrhea later that day. Do NOT go.

I was pretty disappointed from reading a lot of good reviews for this place. Compared to other places for “Yin Cha” (tea & dimsum lunch), this restaurant didn’t have good tea and dimsum was just ok. Tea was brew too strong that it was bitter. I’ve definitely had much better jasmine tea elsewhere. XLB was so hard and dry! The only thing I liked was the custard bun. The rest was quite meh. Servers were quite rude in American dining standard but I was told that it was to be expected from this type of restaurant. Cozy holiday vibes closer to New Year. Free parking at the shopping complex. Price was about $4 each dish plus $2 seating fee. Total was a bit cheaper than other “Yin Cha” places that I found better tea.

Google
This was our first time trying this restaurant 6/6/2025, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We were charged for four orders of hot tea and only 1 dipping sauce, even though we specifically said we didn’t want any. When we asked about the charge, the staff member left the front desk for over 10 minutes just to point out a tiny note on the menu saying it’s included — whether you drink it or not. It would have been much better if they clearly informed us about this charge at the beginning, rather than quietly adding it to the bill and expecting us to just accept it. Transparency goes a long way in building trust with customers.

Google
Found Atlantic Seafood on Yelp to try out a new dim sum spot in socal. The spot is a bit difficult to get to. Parking is downstairs (which is great) that there is available parking, but to get to the actual restaurant is a bit of trek. You might need to park a bit a ways away from the stairs/elevator, then you need to get to the actual restaurant which is another set of stairs/elevator. We didn't need to wait which was great. By the time we left, there was a bit of a line. We were tucked in the back corner of the restaurant, so food came out a bit slower than we are used to. We ordered our usual dimsum items. Shumai, chicken feet, dumplings, etc. Overall, nothing stood out a whole lot. Food was ok. Service was below average. Auto $2 "seat" charge for tea.

Yelp
This place has push carts filled with all my favorites! We started with pan-fried turnip cakes, stuffed eggplant, and siu mai--definitely better with hot chili oil. I also tried shrimp balls for the first time, and they were tasty! The spare rib rice rolls were a hit, and I couldn't wait to dig into the crueller donut roll which I've been craving for a long while. I honestly prefer it without the sauces. With live seafood available, we ordered the special lobster with ginger and green onions, and it was amazing with the long e fu noodles. I love that there is live seafood in the aquariums which adds to the experience and the white table cloths and chandeliers add to the ambience. Dining here is so much fun, and I can't wait to come back and try even more, but definitely getting more baked salty egg yolk buns. Oh my gosh iykyk! Plan a day and check out all of the carts that roll by your table! Cheers! Btw free parking in their huge parking garage.

Yelp
Had dinner with 15 people (2 kids) around 4:30 on a Saturday. Needlessly to say, we were the ONLY group in the restaurant and the manager appeared to be the ONLY employee on the floor so service was a bit slow. The Peking duck was very disappointing. A lady used to come out and cut the duck at the table. That day the skin and all the duck meat was piled on top. The majority of the duck was just bones. Once the employees started coming in, service got much better. Recommend if you eat there for dinner to go after 4:30. Hopefully

Yelp
Yum Cha aka Dim Sum | Unlocking Family Moments Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum on the 2nd Fl of @atlantictimessquare is still keeping those Chinese traditions and childhood memories alive with a grand ballroom sized restaurant, steamed push carts of dim sum, Lobster and Peking Duck Specials, tea pots filled with Jasmine tea and those vintage looking table clothes that we are all familiar with. We order all the classic dim sum such as shu mai, har gao, pork ribs, turnip cake, chicken feet, tribe, cheung fun w/ bbq, steamed baos and so much more! $16.99 Lobster Deals and $26.99 Peking Duck Specials are everyday from 11am-9pm. This is your sign to invite your friends or family to come and enjoy DIMSUM at Atlantic with plenty of free parking .

Yelp
$4.38 weekdays, $5.38 weekends/holidays, 11am-3pm. Great deal for decent/good dim sum which is normally more expensive. We had seafood chow mein, ha gow/shrimp dumplings, sui mai, chicken feet, brown sugar sponge cake, taro cake, taro puffs, bean curd rolls with vegetables that collapsed (compared to the bean curd rolls with meat inside which kept the rolls from collapsing), etc. Everything was delicious! Nice ambience with chandeliers, videos on the walls. Noisy from the packed room. I could barely hear the people at my table talk. If you want to see the old-fashioned metal carts with gas/fire that keeps the dim sum warm, this is the place to go. Even the restrooms are decently modern-looking compared to older Chinese restaurant restrooms. Service was attentive. Restaurant is located on the second floor, #200. Free parking in the shopping mall. Park on the P2 level. Tea charge/person of about $1.50/person on the bill, so be sure to check your bill.

Yelp
Good spot for dim sum, I came right before dim sum is over at 3p (around 2:30p) so no wait and all the carts came to my table and I got most of the items left over which were still good! They also made some fresh items that ran out when I requested. Ordered Chicken feet w/ black bean sauce and shrimp w/ chives dumplings which were yum. Typical dim sum staff with a tinge of niceness. Just how I like it lol.

Yelp
The rating and reviews are all pretty accurate. Some servers are not very kind. You constantly need to flag someone just to get water or place kitchen orders. And one of the male waiters had an attitude from get go and VERY RUDE and impatient for simply asking questions about entrees. The dim sum and entrees were respectable and good but overall the experience was whatever. Go there if you want some dim sum cart server or go elsewhere if you know of one. We came by recently for a family lunch. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor close to 24 Hour Fitness. The carts were going around quickly and they had the items we were looking for. Most of the other staff were kind and friendly. The restaurant is very big with lots of table banquet room for occasions. The operation is like everyone is running around in organized chaos. Overall. Food was ok. Service was lacking. We tipped exactly what was appropriate. Which was very little. :) Solid 2.5/5.

Yelp
We've been going there to have dim sum for many years. We went there on the weekend and it was not too crowded. Decent dim sum at a reasonable price. ($4.38/dish on weekdays and $5.38/dish weekends/holidays, except special dishes.) Their tea was good, some dim sum were hit and miss, depending on what you ordered. (I did not like their steamed pork ribs and sponge cake. I usually like steamed pork ribs, but they were mediocre and tasted bland.) However, we liked their special dishes the most. Their roast duck and roast pork dishes were so good and fresh. Other dim sums were not bad (about average). Service was great. I would give 3.5 stars for sure.

Yelp
My friend had her son's graduation party at Atlantic Seafood and DimSum. The underground parking is free but shared with the other businesses upstairs. There is Elevator access that goes to the ground floor (street level) I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to Atlantic Seafood, which is besides the 24 hour fitness store, there is an elevator besides the stairs to get to the 2nd floor, also kinda misleading is the sign for Tokyo Wako instead of Atlantic Seafood, we had a private room with 3 tables and we had a party lunch package (not dimsum), service was quick and professional. The dining area was kept clean.

Yelp
Great dimsum and food. Helps a lot if you speak Canto or Mando, but not necessary. Docked a star because the wait was about 25 minutes for us--a group of 6 on a Sunday. No nonsense dimsum spot that we've been coming to for years.

Yelp
Very delicious, I recommend the crispy duck, it's really delicious, the waiter is also great. Everything is great

Yelp
I brought my friend who had never had dim sum before and he enjoyed it. We had 9 types of dim sum and I thought the food overall was very good. It's worth it to come on a weekday because the dim sum was $4.38 each which is cheaper than their weekend price. They offer a pretty wide variety of items. Service was pleasant and polite and parking was plentiful. The last time I went to NBC Seafood for dim sum, it wasn't that good and their prices are higher.

Yelp
My daughter picked this place since none of us has ever been here before, so I was super excited to try it out. We drove here right after church, so we arrived a little before noon. There was already such a long line!! We were told 40 minutes wait time!! Thank goodness they were wrong. Maybe about 30 minutes. We were led to a table towards the back of the restaurant. Many tables. Noticed the food carts...YAY!! The food carts came around fairly frequently, but then I started to notice that the types of dim sum offered to us was frequently the same stuff. That was disappointing!! Not too many choices, but the food was good. We ordered a noodle dish on the menu, which was not offered in the carts, so that helped us get full. The dessert choices was a little limited as well, but they were tasty. Ambiance was fine. The only nice-looking thing about this place was the ornate chandeliers. Free parking in the underground garage of the mall. Street parking is challenging because you need a permit. It was nice to wander around the mall after eating. I would come back if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Very classic dim sum place! For best experience I recommend knowing Cantonese, but standard mandarin will do. They come around with the carts, and you can point to whatever ones you want. The aunties also make recommendations and I always trust them!! The vibe is great and the energy is wonderful--not too calm and not too chaotic! My favs were the tripe, chicken feet, shrimp rice roll, and xiu mai were all fantastic! The zong zi was tasty as well. The aunties were so sweet to us and happy to chat a bit, and really paid attention to the dishes we wanted. Lovely chatting with them!

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday morning around 11am and there was no wait. We were seated immediately and dim sum carts were rapidly headed our way to ask if we wanted any items from their cart. It seems like they target newly seated groups but I can see how it may make a group feel rushed if they're new to dim sum or don't know what they want. Each dim sum item is $5.38 and there is a $2-3 fee for unlimited hot tea per person. They also give you hot sauce and hot mustard. The hot mustard always enhances my meal. It does give you that wasabi/horseradish feel though, so be careful not to put too much on your food. We ordered the usual dim sum dishes - pan fried turnip cake, sesame ball, baked egg custard tarts, baked salty egg yolk bun, chicken feet, beef tripe with green onion, sticky rice in lotus leaf, beef chong fun, and a few other items. They were all OK. Nothing really stood out as amazing. If you wanted to satisfy your dim sum craving, this is an OK place to go where you can get the usual dim sum items.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 12 and there was no wait. Sounds like a good thing right? Well, I get why there was no wait now. Pros: -Cheap dim sum in the area. Only like $5.38 during weekends per dish. -Cart service, they come around pretty quick. -Dishes like the beef tripe and stomach came out piping hot. -Clean restroom Cons: -Quality ranged from mostly average to mediocre. Probably the only dish I really liked was the pan fried daikon cake, as the cart lady manning the daikon cake cart gave it an extra sear before serving it. Everything else was just nothing noteworthy. -They didn't have any har gow and siu mai. What dim sum restaurant doesn't have those two things to sell during peak hours? The usual: -Service here was average dim sum service. Don't expect red carpet service. They will be gruff, but they will fulfill your requests as quick as they can, or as slow as they can. The verdict: Overall, there's better dim sum restaurants in the area honestly. If you want a cheap dim sum cart experience with average to mediocre quality though, this is the place for you. 2.5/5 overall.

Yelp
Great dim sum spot that's priced decently in the modern day. They got all the classic dishes but I feel like the dishes with a wrapper (ie har gao, or the pastries) had a wrapper that was a bit too thick. The shao mai here was unique and it was interesting

Yelp
If you've ever wondered what it's like to be disrespected, overcharged, and possibly exposed to foodborne illness all in one day, Atlantic Seafood has you covered. Dining here was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had, and that's not an exaggeration. From start to finish, it was a complete failure across every possible category: service, cleanliness, food, and most disturbingly, basic human decency. We walked into a ghost town on a Sunday (huge red flag), and despite the place being basically empty, we were still ignored at the host stand and waited way too long to even get water. The staff looked like we'd inconvenienced them just by showing up. Now let me be clear: I'm no stranger to the typical no-nonsense service you get at some Chinese restaurants. It's part of the charm sometimes. But there's a big difference between the usual tough love and outright rude, dismissive, borderline discriminatory behavior. Tables around us filled with native speakers received attentive, friendly service. As ABCs (American-born Chinese) who don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese, we were treated like we didn't belong in our own cultural space. I watched a server leave the restroom and return without washing his hands. Farm to table? More like "toilet to table." That alone should tell you everything you need to know about their hygiene standards. No sink stop. No hesitation. Inexcusable, disgusting, and frankly, dangerous. In a post-COVID world, that's not just gross. It's a health violation waiting to happen. And then the cherry on top! I told my mom about the experience and she immediately recognized the owner's name. Turns out he was a former patient of my parents years ago who straight-up scammed them and never paid his bill. He even screamed at my dad to never call him again. So the lack of basic decency here? It explains why the staff acts the way they do. Trash attracts trash. Atlantic Seafood isn't a restaurant. It's a case study in failure. Foul service. Filthy habits. Dead energy. And it's all orchestrated by someone who's been shady long before he ever owned a dining room. Eat here if you want to be disrespected and disappointed. Otherwise, do what the rest of the city has already figured out - run far, fast, and never look back.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic dim sum, this is the place to go. Food: they have almost everything you're looking for in a dim sum. The quality is legit, fresh and everything. Service: it can get a little hectic inside, servers aren't the friendliest. We were sat in the back and almost felt like the waiter forgot about us. We constantly had to try to get their attention for simple things like utensils and water. Ambiance: it can get packed and loud. But it wouldn't be a dim sum if it wasn't loud. Overall, I do recommend this place. I just hope you get better service than we did.

Yelp
One of the few dim sum places that still use push carts. Located in Atlantic Times Square. Love that they still use push carts to serve the food but unfortunately the quality of item is ok. Servers were good and quick. The siu mai has good amount of meat but not much flavor. The skin of the har gow is a bit too thick and chewy. The shrimp cheung fun was good and has a good bounce. My favorite was the salted egg lava pineapple buns. Good crust and has a more salted egg filling than sweet. It was so good I ordered another plate to go. The lobster special is you get what you paid for type of dish. $17 for a lobster. We chose to get it stir fried with ginger and scallion. Some pieces were meaty but most pieces were thickly covered with cornstarch. Worth a try but probably wouldn't get it again. Decent dim sum place if you want the traditional push carts.

Yelp
ATLANTIC SEAFOOD & DIM SUM RESTAURANT is located in a complex with free underground parking. There was no line to get in, no line to get seated, and in no time at all, we had hot tea, water and the dimsum ladies crowding our table. Fast, delicious, accurate, friendly.
google avatar

Kingston W.

Yelp
You really have to try dim sum at Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant at least once. Maybe once a week? *joke* Here, they still have staff who push carts with a variety of foodstuff on it. As the carts pass by your table, you can pick and choose. Sometimes you know what you want; sometimes you select something spontaneously. Atlantic Seafood is a large restaurant. Because there are so many tables to serve, the product on the carts turns over quickly; in turn the products are fresh. Because there is an audience for it, Atlantic Seafood offers dim sum dishes you don't see in smaller restaurants. Having dim sum here is like a food vacation. It's a dimension of Cantonese food culture that seems to be slowly disappearing, here and abroad. BTW .. Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant is located within an interesting development. The complex has commercial and retail on the ground level. There are apartments above. There is ample, free underground parking.

Yelp
This is a PSA - run here now (and bring all your friends and family, too)! In my years living in the San Gabriel Valley, I have seen dim sum restaurants come and go, and I always missed the traditional Cantonese push cart experience as it's been phasing out in Arcadia. Little did I know, my boyfriend and I should've looked in Monterey Park for one of the best dim sum experiences we've had in a long time. I am not exaggerating here, because it may sound like I am, but I promise it's 100% true. We sat down and got 7 of our favorite dishes in less than 2 minutes, thanks to the amazing push cart ladies who saw us sit down and surrounded us with food (and love). I legitimately could not keep my jaw closed because I was in shock and so surprised that we were so well taken care of in a matter of less than 2 minutes. Note we came on at peak brunch time, 11 am on a Sunday, and expected to wait a while to be sat down. Maybe we got lucky, or maybe the dim sum spirits really wanted to treat us that day, and for that, I am so grateful. At dim sum, my boyfriend and I know all our favorites, so the minute we spot a push cart with it, we wave and smile to get served our steaming dish. We got the pleasure to try: Egg Tart, Shrimp Dumplings, Spare Ribs, Tripe, Sui Mai, Chicken Feet, Congee, and Duck Blood. Everything was served piping hot and hit all the marks. The push cart ladies are all so nice and made us feel so welcome. We couldn't say no to a lot of things and got too excited so we ordered too much food. Their Chrysanthemum Tea was good to wash all the oil down. But hey, you didn't have dim sum if you didn't leave with a little food baby belly. 8 dishes came out to be around $50 with no tax, so about $6.25 each dish (some may be more than others but we were not keeping track). We fully expected the whole meal to be more than $70 so I'd say they are very reasonably priced and get extra bonus points for treating us so well and being so fast. We also had a dedicated waiter assigned to our table, whom was very nice and attentive. He brought us our spicy dipping sauces, refilled our tea, and came to check on us a few times. We parked in the underground car parking lot, right off of Atlantic. For a directionally-challenged gal like me, they sure notate this and put signs around the plaza to direct you to the entrance. It's a nice walk, maybe a brisk walk if you're really hungry, and the signage really helped us. You'll notice a flight of stairs that will lead you up to level two where the front entrance of the restaurant is. Super helpful. Needless to say, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish and left with a big smile on our faces. We will soon be back with more friends and family to enjoy this traditional Cantonese-style dim sum.

Yelp
Came on a Christmas eve mid morning and there were a few groups inside. So seating and waiting was never an issue. For those of you who need a quick location reference, it's upstairs inside the condominium complex...adjacent to the LA Fitness. Everything is run efficiently and smoothly, which is pretty common for Chinese spots here in the SGV. Also, it's one of the few spots left that has those traditional push carts. I love those carts, so don't get rid of them! Highlights for me were the siu mai - big and meaty, and the black bean spare ribs. I wasn't a big fan of the beef ball, which had this weird, spongy texture. Also, the juicy dumpling wasn't as juicy as I was hoping it would be, unfortunately. Came up a little dry. The other items we ordered - har gow and egg custard - were decent enough. Would I come back? Yes. There's enough on the menu to explore, the pricing is good, and the service is just as good.

Yelp
20+ visits here over the past few years, and my consensus remains the same - my family, friends, and I are huge fans of Atlantic. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, and portions are generous. I love everything, but (maybe less commonly ordered) highlights are: - pan fried noodles w/ beef (we took to go after dim sum and it was absolutely delicious) - congee, egg and pork (their congee is the BEST - so flavorful) - steamed pork BBQ buns (my personal favorite, hits every time) - egg tarts (good ones are hard to come by, but these are great) - fish balls (leng yu) Actually can't wait to be back.
google avatar

Kelli L.

Yelp
Atlantic Seafood and Dim Sum deserves 5 stars! Finally, a place with truly great dim sum where the flavors are perfectly balanced--not overly salty like so many other places. I love the egg tarts. The are perfectly flaky and just the right amount of sweetness. The shrimp rice paper rolls are a must-try, super fresh and flavorful. The har gow and shu mai (pork dumplings) are both top-notch--perfectly generous shrimp filling. Another standout is the chicken bun, which I prefer over their red BBQ pork bun. It's soft and delicious, with just the right amount of savory filling. I also like to order their Ham sui gok (fried rice dumpling that's shaped like a football) I usually order to go and I put them in my toaster oven along with the egg tarts. Overall, I'm so happy to have found this dim sum place. It's my new go-to, and I'll be back for more soon!

Yelp
Quintessential dim sum that has never disappointed. My Cantonese family loves this spot and always raves at how good the food and prices both are! Win win! It's your stereotypical banquet hall style which is exactly what we love. There's nothing like an auntie getting to the point by putting a dish in front of your face saying "do you want????" Let's get to business and make our tummies happy.

Yelp
A few hits and a few misses. I might be back. (+) Tribe, egg custard (vrry good), shrimp rice noodles (-) Sesene ball was just off maybe it was the filling (-) The carts rolling around didn't have much variety. We sat there for more than 30 minutes and there was no cart that rolled around that offered siu mai or haw gow. (-) The different dumpling's skin was very thick (-) Wu gok (taro fried) wasn't good Pricing is moderate.

Yelp
We got sat in the back corner where it felt like minimal attentiveness. Usually they would ask what kind of tea we want and serve it right away, but we had to wait roughly 15 minutes to get the tea and dipping sauces. Food(3/5): The dumplings were nice and the meat was tender. I felt like the food was salty but it was still delicious. The mango pudding wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it was gonna be smooth but it was pretty grainy. The only thing that made up for it was the flavor. Service(4/5): It wasn't good at the beginning because the lack of attentiveness, but later it was fine. Although the food was delicious, I am unsure if I would come here again.

Yelp
'Push-cart dim-sum' used to be an experience that would leave you full, satisfied, and happy but I'm afraid not here! Especially, if you are really into "good" dim sum. It's unfortunately not worth it here... The service was very attentive (of course). The women pushing the carts were very good at bringing around the dim sum without any collisions! A few of the servers looked very annoyed with everyone which is expected! This is normal behavior for such a loud and chaotic scene of serving dim sum. The food??? A majority of the served dim sum dumplings left me wanting-- "better" quality and flavor. While it tasted exactly like the dumplings I expected, none of them impressed me at all. I actually was starting to think of better places I had dim sum elsewhere-- which obviously isn't a good sign. Would you bring your family and friends here? Sure, I guess. It's not terrible food at all. Now we are left full at the end of our meal and... unsatisfied. I have to give it 3 Stars for mainly the subpar/mediocre quality of Dim Sum --which is supposed to be the "star of the show"--and why you come to a place like this. I honestly would try going to some other dim sum location. It's okay to skip this one folks...

Yelp
Truly amazing experience here. Super tasty dishes, fast service, and one of very few dim sum places that still serve on rotating banquet trays! So true to form for a classic dim sum experience. Ambiance had chandeliers, fine china and complete with stainless steel serving dishes. Only potential downside side, if there were one...and it's really a corner case...but I have a shellfish allergy. The servers do not speak English as well as I would like for comfort, so my friends who speak Mandarin had to translate for me, so I did consume anything with shellfish. The language barrier can make this tough if you have any dietary restrictions. Despite this, I had an amazing experience and no hiccups...or hives:) Cannot recommend this place enough for dim sum enthusiasts, it is legit!

Yelp
Food and in our case we had dim sum and the food was excellent, service was what you would expect at a place that served dim sum. The place was very clean, including the restrooms.

Yelp
Was in the Monterey park area looking for dim sum and my usual spot had a line soo ended up here while looking to go to Gram for some pancake after. Finding parking here is pretty good and it's inside a parking structure. This place is located on the 2nd floor and it's fancy than most dimsum hole in the wall places I've been to. Sadly after sitting down hubby tells me that they are charging us per person for sitting there and for tea haha that was a turn off already but we were hungry and I wanted to see if the charges were worth it. Unfortunately, no. It was your typical dimsum nothing spectacular and even their chili oil was regular. My kids did enjoy the pork buns and we did not end up getting tea since we don't drink it. But of course was still charged for it. It' was crowded so expect some delay in getting them to see you or getting drinks refilled. Would I come back? Probably not.

Yelp
What I like about Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum is that they still keep to the traditional push carts here. I enjoy eating dim sum when there are still push carts around since it's traditional. We came during the week so it wasn't as crowded though there were still a good amount of people here. We were seated right away. This restaurant does have an odd floor plan and I always thought it did. There's a main area and then a smaller area as you walk in. However decoration wise, the restaurant is very traditional with red and gold layout. Dim sum is one of the better ones I've had. I thought their dim sum tastes pretty good from their siu mai to rice noodles to their buns. Can't really complain about their food here. Great service and great atmosphere definitely would make me want to come again since I really enjoy the push carts.

Yelp
This place has been my least favorite dim sum in SGV so far. All the food we got was lukewarm and many under seasoned and underwhelming. I personally would not come back.

Yelp
This is one of the few places that still push around the dimsum carts. We came here after a funeral for lunch with a large party and had two tables. Their water tastes bad so just drink the tea. We had preordered the food but got some dimsum while waiting for our dishes. The beef cheung fen was not memorable and there are other places that do it much better. We asked the server to clean the lazy Susan first and he had some real attitude. It doesn't feel super clean in the restaurant so I don't think I'll be back.

Yelp
Foods are good except the chicken. They also have promotion for $27 peiking duck when order 3 dishes. Definitely we will come back for dimsum and dinner.

Yelp
This place can be a hit or a miss, really depends on the day and what food you get and when you get the food, and this applies for both dim sum and dinner. Food comes out in carts and if it's been sitting out for awhile it wont be as good as if it just came out fresh. I will say price wise this is one of the more reasonable ones for dim sum, and probably their most consistent dish is the cheung fun. There is often a line, especially on the weekends and holidays, but it feels like they're open 365 days of the year. There is a giant parking structure on the first floor, but sometimes that is filled and you may still have to get street parking.

Yelp
I love this place! In the past it actually wasn't as good, but at some point they changed owners and it drastically improved. Service is usually pretty quick unless it's busy. I recommend the baked lao sa bao (dripping sand bun when translated) and there are two different types of shu mai-- the one you usually expect and one from a specific region where it's similar but on a fish tofu. I love cart dim sum and if you do too, this is the place for you!

Yelp
We got here on a Saturday for brunch and got seated right away. They have the traditional dim sum cart and there is a menu with pictures that you can reference! We got multiple items including baked BBQ pork pie, Hom Sui Gok, pork siu-mai, shrimp ball, beef rice noodle roll, and beef stew. All of them are really tasty and authentic - reminds us of old school dim sum places but don't get me wrong, the interior is really modern and clean! If you are looking for a nostalgic vibe with amazing Cantonese dim sum, this is it! They also have a number of different desserts that we want to try next time! It's located in a plaza on the second floor and there are plenty of underground parking (entrance on Hellman Ave)!

Yelp
This place was really good. My family and I enjoyed every single dish and the prices are pretty reasonable and same are their portions. Service was great, they were very quick and attentive. We enjoyed the promotion deal on the duck. The space was huge and we plan on potentially using one of their private rooms for a party in the future. We will be back here again!

Yelp
I mean... This is when "you get what you paid for" really applies! I consider this place on the top list of affordable sit down dim sum. Everything here is edible but authentic? Not so much. Can't really go wrong with your basic shrimp har how and pork sui mai. Ham So Gok used to be my favorite here but last couple times have been pretty disappointing. Fillings inside feel old and lacking. Fong jowl - chicken feet. Taste and texture is very good. Chreung fun - steam noodles in shrimp, BBQ pork and beef, and fries donut were all pretty good! Nai won boa - egg custard steamed buns. They had to have changed suppliers of recipe cuz the texture was so off today... It left like an oily film on our mouths. Pretty unpleasant. Maybe use if coconut oil? Since we did get some coconut essence on the custard. New prices as of December 2024, all dim sum items are $4.38/plate for weekdays, $5.38/ea weekend and holidays. $1.95 change per person auto added to your tab for tea service even if you only get 1 pot of tea to split among 6ppl... We came the day after Christmas, wasn't too busy and got seated right away. It was a nice surprise to be greeted by the owner too! He was going around every table greeting guests and wishing everyone a happy Christmas!

Yelp
Authentic Cantonese dim sum with the ladies pushing the carts. It was great! I definitely don't get this on the Westside. Located on the second floor of the Atlantic Times Square shopping center. Easy parking garage underneath. We lucked out and got seated immediately and three ladies with carts came by. We had har gow and siu mai on the table in less than 30 seconds! Service was on point. I speak some Cantonese which may have helped speed things up. It's an authentic Chinese restaurant with nice decor in traditional red and gold. You can tell they do wedding banquets here. It was a little pricey at nearly $70 for two people, but we did eat lot. And everything is expensive these days. It definitely hit the spot for good dim sum!

Yelp
Dimsum is getting worse, Hacao sold at Costco is better I'm not gonna lie. Other foods are 3 out of 5 compared to the dimsum places around. Bad service, they always call customers "hey, hey, hey". They gave me attitude when I asked why no carts come to my table. He said "not my business" when I asked. Not coming back again. Ruined my day.

Yelp
This was a pretty standard dim sum spot with all the usual offerings. However the har gow was not good, the texture of the wrapping was very dry.

Yelp
It is always my first choice place when I am thinking of dim sum. People are always friendly in here and very helpful. Their curry fishball was so good, just unfortunate they stop making it after the pandemic ... nonetheless the quality of the rest of the items are good, always hot food, and price is very reasonable. Only thing need to note is you may not get very good cellphone signal inside the dinning hall...

Yelp
Amazing food! Got the Peking duck was absolutely delicious and tender. For $29.99 can't beat that price! We missed the dim sum hours but ordered other dishes offered on the menu. Yang chow fried rice was delicious, chicken corn soup was delicious, pork low mein was delicious, everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back. The service was amazing! Loved the red bean soup desserts they served us at the end.

Yelp
TLDR: Sub par Dimsum with decent short order viands. Do not go here for Dimsum, but I'd go back for the good deal for the duck and a few items. Dimsum: It was bland, on the smaller side, and not that cheap. I would rather pay a bit more per basket for better tasting Dimsum. Shrimp fried rice: Good. 0 complaints, but how hard is it to mess up? Seafood pan fried noodle: Good chunks of seafood present. Could use more sauce to help soften up the noodles French style beef: Beef was decent. Garnish was well done Snow pea w/ 3 kinds of egg: Decent to good Honey Walnut Shrimp: It was oddly bland, considering you should have the batter and mayonnaise helping it. Tofu in brown sauce: Decent. Nothing special Duck: Best of the bunch and it was a steal at $23.99 Service: Classic Chinese restaurant service. You have to call them to get you what you want or need. Don't expect anything here. Ambiance: Large noisy dining hall. I wasn't expecting anything different.

Yelp
This place is awful. We had reservation for a room on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was literally empty. We had the set meal. All the dishes came out in a 10 minute span. All cold and very salty. When it was time for the bill, they tacked on a 20% gratuity because we had a room. No where did it state on the menu or in the restaurant of this automatic 20%. Ok whatever. Here's the part that got me mad. They charged the 20% gratuity not only on the food but also on the tax. So we paid a tip and tax on the food and had to pay a tip on the tax as well. Total scam. The manager Simon Y wasn't very nice about it. This place doesn't deserve your business.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a few years and I would say the quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. We showed up around 11:30 am on a Saturday and were seated right away. When we were done at 12:30, still there was no wait. Gone were the days when crowds waited out the door. The dim sum is served in push carts. The hot dishes were decent, mostly, but some were just luke warm. The fried items became cold and greasy. At $5.38 per item on weekends plus a surcharge for "seat" (I assume this is for tea), I'm thinking there are better places. Altho I'm a big fan of no wait for dim sum, this is a double edge sword apparently.
