"The Atlantic oyster, also known as Eastern oyster, is tear-shaped and much flatter than the Pacific oyster, with a heavy salty taste. Two of the better-known Atlantic oyster varieties are Blue Points, found in Long Island, New York, and Cape Cod’s Wellfleets. The former is known for its robust notes while the latter is relished for its strong briny flavor and a seaweed-like note at the finish."

This place is great if you’re looking for some good atlantic seafood, but you’re not in a rush. Service wasn’t amazing, but the food sure did make up for it. We got sat to eat, and it took awhile for the server to come order drinks. Which is fine, we got an appetizer and ordered our food. Our appetizer came out but no silverware or plates. The person serving our food even gave us a puzzled look, but didn’t say anything and left before we had a chance to ask. It took 10 minutes for us to catch someone, despite trying to flag down our waitress and other staff. Essentially if you need anything, don’t. Our food came out no issues and it was so good. Made up for all the service issues. We did need a water refill while eating, but again no luck. Overall, it depends what you’re looking for. If you don’t mind waiting this place is great, as the food was delicious.

Went here on a Sunday night around 6p. We were seated right away. We requested inside seating so there would be less flying bugs in the middle of July. Really like how casual the restaurant is. They use plastic utensils and plates. Service was okay. Was fine until the end where it seemed our waitress kind of forgot about us. There was a party of five of us and the bill was $300. The following is what we ordered and our thoughts: -seared sesame crusted tuna: appetizer served with a side of coleslaw. Great taste and the Asian sauce was delicious, however it could’ve been a little less seared. -clams: appetizer with butter and broth. Tasty and local clams. -lobster Bisque: great flavor. No chunks of lobster meat in the soup but still great flavor. Served with oyster crackers. -the curly works burger w/ curly fries: burger cooked to requested temperature well. Comes with a pickle. Fries were a tad cold. -seafood lovers platter broiled: comes with shrimp, flounder filet and bay scallops in a garlic butter marinade. Very good and flavorful. Served with one side, with was vegetable- broccoli. Ordered an additional side of Mac and cheese. Broccoli needed salt and butter. No salt or pepper at the tables. Mac and cheese was cheesy and perfect! -stuffed flounder with seafood stuffing w/ coleslaw: tasty and stuffing was super, perfect amount of food. -sliced brisket, w/ sauce on side and curly fries: amazing taste in the meat and very soft and fall apart. Didn’t even need the sauce on the side. -brown butter cod: it was delicious and would order again. Overall would come back, especially for the market.

We had a great time at Atlantic Seafood. The Peel N Eat Shrimp was fresh and flavorful, while the Buffalo Chicken Fritters had just the right kick. The Seafood Linguini was packed with seafood and tasted amazing. The Cod Fish Tacos were a hit with their flaky fish and tasty slaw. Lastly, the Flounder Franchise was perfectly cooked and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

A personal favorite. One of the best elements that I enjoy about this establishment is the thought put behind the dishes served. You can easily tell that the cook knows exactly what they are doing. Each dish tastes the same every time I frequent this place. Very consistent.

We were in the mood for seafood and decided to try this place, as we've never been here. If you're not looking for it, you can easily drive right by. Indoor/Outdoor seating options, we chose to Dine indoor. Extremely no-frills, carefree, relaxed restaurant, down to plastic cups and paper plates, which was perfect for us. Small, but sufficient bar area. For appetizers, we ordered the baked clams and crab cake. Both had the perfect coating and crunch, while the inside of each was tender. Both were delicious. Nice sized clam bits in the clams and a good amount of crab in the cakes. For dinner, my husband ordered the fried seafood platter, which included shrimp, scallops, clam strips, and flounder. He chose french fries for his side. Everything had a nice coating and was perfectly fried. He enjoyed it very much. I ordered the clam bake, which had mussels, clams, steamers, and a whole lobster, along with a full corn on the cob. Everything seemed to be steamed in a butter broth, which made it all very flavorful. It was excellent. Service was decent, and the shell buckets were quickly emptied and replaced. We look forward to returning to try other menu options. If you enjoy seafood and a laid-back atmosphere, we highly recommend it. ONE CAVEAT: They charge 3.99% for charge cards. When the receipt arrives, there are no lines to add a tip. When we asked the server, she said the system is outdated, and does not allow for lines to be printed, she has to charge the card a 2nd time for a tip - so an additional 3.99%???

My first time in and wasn’t sure what to expect… so here we go! First up… thank you Sarah for your kind and professional service, your smile is contagious and you are great! 👍 This is a traditional, stereo-typical seafood casual, relaxed and nicely decorated cafe… we immediately felt comfortable… not fancy but clean and nice… as we moved to our table we’re getting excited about what is to come! The casual theme was carried over to the paper plates and napkins, regular utensils and the plastic cups… frankly, I liked this approach… Here comes our order… yippee! Two bowls of really excellent chowder steaming hot with oyster crackers…YUMMY… the hand cut and perfectly prepared Calamari appetizer and the half-order of steamer Clams (nice sized and perfectly prepared)… TERRIFIC!… ALL SERVED WITH A SMILE! … the food was great and thank you chef! NOW… THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM… VALUE! … anywhere you go seafood is expensive on the island, big bucks at the market and not cheap in the restaurants… we are realists and understand this… we are senior citizens and always consider the “big picture” so, we felt that this fine Cafe is an EXCELLENT VALUE! … we will be back, nope, this isn’t a fast food joint… it’s not owned by some big corporation… this is an honest local business providing a terrific value to our community… thank you! GO THERE… SIT, RELAX AND ENJOY… SAY HELLO TO SARAH… LEAVE A NICE TIP AND WALK OUT HAPPY!

If you’re in Center Moriches and craving some seriously good seafood, you’ve gotta check out Atlantic Seafood ! The vibe is super laid-back, and the staff is super friendly, making you feel like you’re at a friend’s place. The seafood here is always fresh, and you can taste it in every bite. The clam chowder is amazing—so creamy and flavorful—and the lobster roll? Totally worth it—packed with juicy lobster in a buttery roll. They’ve got a bunch of options, from fried platters to grilled fish, so there’s definitely something for everyone. The portions are big, and the prices are fair for the quality you get. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots for seafood around here. One thing to keep in mind is it can get pretty busy, especially on weekends, so try to get there early if you can. But overall, Atlantic Seafood is a total win for anyone who loves good seafood!

Yelp
First time in... we're active seniors and stopped by for a light New Year's Day lunch... the casual, relaxed decor is great.. the staff (Sarah) terrific... seated us and we noticed that everything was neat clean and friendly! GREAT! Two bowls of chowder... hot with oyster crackers Yummy! 1/2 order of Steamers and the Calamari appetizer... WOW! Steamers we're nice size and perfectly prepared, Calamari was hand-cut, a substantial portion and some of the best I've had on the island...! A special thank you to Sarah for her smile, kind service and professionalism... Ambiance: this is a casual eatery, not Pretentious... (white tablecloths-cloth napkins and fancy tableware... Nope)... perfect! VALUE: okay gang... fresh high quality sea food is expensive on the island... if you are looking for cheap seafood this isn't your place... if you are looking for great quality seafood nicely prepared and served in a friendly casual setting THIS PLACE IS IT! ... Go there... say hello to Sarah... sit down and enjoy!

Yelp
This a was worthy stop on our way out to Montauk the Friday before Columbus Day weekend. This casual sit down spot has indoor and outdoor seating (with heaters), friendly service and good a selection of seafood favorites. I had no complaints about my meal I got a cup of a special menu item; shrimp and corn chowder which had the right amount of sweetness from the corn to cut the rich soup and accompany the shrimp. My fried flounder sandwich was perfectly fried and had a bit of a nostalgic vibe to me - for some reason I don't see a lot of flounder on menus nowadays. The fries were great as well. I tried the clam chowder and it was pretty inedible - it tasted like gloopy flour and water mixed together. The fish tacos came as a pair and were generous and tasty. I would stop in again if I find myself this far out on the island.

Yelp
Steamers and mussels and cod, oh my! I've written about this place before, so I must be a fan. It's where I go when I'm jonesing a bucket of steamers (in season, of course), though their fish and chips and shrimp tacos have often kept me satiated over the years. This is the kind of place where simple, and delicious seafood reigns. A comfortable dining room, space to dine alfresco (also in season) and huge sharks mouth to walk through as you enter the place! Did I mention that they're also a fresh seafood market? Lots of goodness from the briny deep to choose from and many a time I've come home with something fresh to cook for dinner. Tons of parking out back in the gravel lot (what, you'd frequent a seafood shack that didn't have one?). Always friendly and warm service (they politely ask for tips in cash) and great, simple, well-prepared food. Heck, they even have some BBQ for you lubbers out there. All cards accepted, a great selection of wines & beers and outstanding local shellfish. One of favorites on the island.

Yelp
After all of the reviews, I had to try this place out. Recently went for dinner. Appetizers we ordered were fried calamari, Mussels in white wine & garlic & a bowl of chilli. Calamari was good, a but overcooked. Chilli was delish! Mussels were good as well! For dinner I ordered the broiled shrimp with french fries. Shrimp was way over-cooked. Husband got a broiled seafood dish. He said it had no flavor except the paprika water it was sitting in on the dish. Waitress was super friendly & attentive. Quick service & everyone was nice! Cute little old style seafood joint with nautical decor & a fireplace to keep you warm!

Yelp
I love this spot and have been coming here as long as I can remember. It's probably the best fried flounder sandwich anywhere -- just the basics, done perfectly. I usually get that but occasionally I splurge on a lobster dinner, or even the clambake feast. It's all good. I like the ambiance very much as well, not because it's fancy but because it's not. The focus here is on making good food. I must warn you: the punch is delicious but also pretty strong! In all, I do recommend as a good restaurant and a good fish market.

Carol S.

Yelp
The service was great and place was extremely casual , in other words, not fancy at all. The seafood was very fresh and I'd recommend the special because you'll get a reasonable priced meal The shrimp pizza was good but a little too much cheese. Who would think too much cheese isn't great but they over did it Otherwise, enjoy. I did

Yelp
Atlantic Seafood serves a generous portion of cod and toppings in their cod fish tacos. The quality of their fried flounder sandwich has been consistent over the years. You can order a baked potato instead of fries. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Ordered broiled flounder as takeout, and the fish appeared to be thrown into the container. The atmosphere is very casual and food is served on disposable dinnerware.

Yelp
I had the Brisket wet with Broccoli and my friend had the Shrimp Tacos. The food was delicious and the waitress (Lina) was outstanding!

Paul C.

Yelp
This place has fresh seafood; the cod, sea scallops and raw clams were fantastic. Server was friendly. Scallops were large, sweet, and some of the best I've had. We ordered Calamari and crab cake for appetizers. Calamari was good, crab cake was disappointing. It was large but had way too much breading. It would be much better at a smaller size with very little bread, just enough to bind so that the taste of crab stood out. The brown butter cod with capers was really melted butter and not brown butter. The cod was fantastic and could have been outstanding if it had the nutty flavor of brown butter. I would go back and try other fresh seafood (mussels looked good). I would not get a crab cake but everything else was good!

Yelp
It's been quite a few years since we visited this restaurant. But it's restaurant week and it's local so we went for lunch. Staff was very friendly. I started with the New England clam chowder. I know it had pieces of clam in it but there was no clam flavor. It was more of a cream soup with some potatoes in it. My husband had the fried calamari. It was a bit chewy, not terrible just not great. I had the smoked brisket sandwich, it was topped with American cheese and crispy onion straws on a soft bun. A bit too much bbq sauce for me but it was okay. Served with some of the best French fries ever. My husband had fish tacos, fried cod homemade hose slaw. He enjoyed them, but again not great. Server was lovely!

Mary Ellen J.

Yelp
Fresh seafood place! You can't go wrong! Not the fanciest place but the food is good!

Kevin P.

Yelp
Good food but too expensive for paper plates and cups . Overall though good place if you have a little extra coin laying around..

Jan G.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh seafood with excellent menu varieties! Good service in a fun atmosphere!

Yelp
DECOR: a bit divey, casual. Small indoor area as well as a small outdoor spot with picnic tables. FOOD: ordered mussels and coconut shrimp for appetizers. Both were good. For dinner ordered Blackened Chicken Wrap w/ chipotle mayo, cheeseburgers, and the Beef Brisket Sandwich. Everything tasted good, especially the fries. Very crispy and salty. Only negative comment is the beef brisket sandwich was constructed very poorly, the brisket was half off the bun so my husband had to try and rebuild it b4 eating. SERVICE: this is where my review landed at only 3 stars. The service kind of stunk. Waitress was very nice, but it took about 45 min for just our appetizers to come out. We were so hungry and to top it off we had a toddler with us that was not only hungry also, but very fidgety. It made for a frustrating dinner sadly.

Yelp
WOW!! In Center Moriches for my Covid vaccine. We did a Yelp search and found a great spot for lunch but Waze took us here (?) Lucky for us. We sat outside where there were 2 picnic tables with heat lamps The waitstaff wore masks. Plenty of people sat inside. We were the only ones outside The food is great here We had a trio sampler of soups. New England clam chowder, Manhattan clam chower and lobster bisque. All were very good. Pretzel bread came on the side The clam strips were better than we've ever had in Montauk. Perfectly cooked, filled with clam and the batter was perfection. Home made fries and cole slaw came on the side (entree size). Dipping sauces were cocktail sauce and tarter sauce. The shrimp tacos was a winner. We loved the food so much we'll come back in 3 weeks (1hour drive from home) when we get our 2nd Covid vaccine. That good!!

Yelp
I hope original owners are still there. He's been always on top of the fresh. Variety of Sea Food you can enjoy, a bit pricey, however tastes good

Gee P.

Yelp
FYI: The address on the restaurant website is different: 125 Main Street, Center Moriches. This place is really cute! I don't understand all the negative reviews. Mostly the main gripe was the price. So you want fresh seafood, but want to pay the lower prices? Personally, the food was good and the prices are reasonable. Their drink menu looks very yummy-$7-9 for a cocktail like pina colada or mimosa. The space is laid out with a lot of space between tables. Everyone is wearing a mask. Food came hot and fresh and well seasoned. My favorite is the shrimp and lobster pizza. It was a crispy cracker like dough. The seafood topping was pleasant, not too over powering. We also bought food from the seafood market. It's convenient to come here for lunch and buy food for dinner too! They have a nice selection of crabs in the refrigerator and fresh fish and prepared food in another case. I would totally come back here and recommend it to anyone in the area.

Melissa J.

Yelp
My family and I stopped here after pumpkin and apple picking. We sat on the deck because it was warm out. The staff was very sweet, and the food was great! I had a burger with fries, and my family had hot lobster rolls-- which they all loved. We shared an appetizer of calamari which was great too. Its a small place but i highly recommend eating here for a quick bite for lunch. Great food and great service. Thank u!

Lynda M.

Yelp
Let me start by saying my meal was delicious. I really never had a bad meal here. The problem I have is the fact is that they are extremely expensive and you get served with plastic plates and cups. My bill was $81.00 for 2 seafood dishes. No drinks, just water. $35.99 each plate with a $2.58 processing fee because I used my credit card. I guess if I ever want to get robbed I'll be back. I wanted a meal, not to buy the place. Such a shame!

Michael N.

Yelp
Best local seafood spot around friend flounder is always fresh and perfectly crispy go here!!

Sal D.

Yelp
Such great seafood and the service is always amazing! Nautical Ambiance in the restaurant is 10/10 and the outside with the jaws shark mouth is iconic for Center Moriches! Love this place

Linda H.

Yelp
Loved this little seafood spot. Worth the trip. Huge menu. Don't worry if you're with people who don't eat seafood. They have something for everyone. I started with a margarita. It was very good. For appetizers we had the Little Neck clams and my husband had the soup of the day - shrimp and corn chowder. He loved it. I tried it and it was excellent. The clams were very fresh. My husband had the Blackened Shrimp Wrap. Spicy, flavorful but not too hot. Me and our friend tried the soft shell crab sandwich. I'd been craving some soft shell crab and this sandwich hit the spot. Crispy and cooked just right. Ever the tarter sauce was better than most I've had. Loved the fries too. Our friend couldn't get over how good the food was. Want to go back soon!

Adam L.

Yelp
What a big disappointment. Was hoping for decent meal, but that didn't happen. For appetizers I order some steamers which were pretty good. My friend ordered the fried Calamari with was overcooked and rubbery. For entree's I ordered a Lobster Roll and my friend ordered the broiled seafood platter. Both were subpar to say the least. The lobster roll didn't have any chunks of meat and was basically shredded meat. And they also added a lot of salt which really made to roll hard to eat. The broiled seafood platter came out on a small styrofoam plate. Looked nothing like a platter. This place was just a total waste of time and money. $140 bucks plus tax and tip. I would have rather donated that money to the needy that pay for such a junky meal. And that $140 included a Bloody Mary and a soda. In my opinion, this place is only good for a beer and maybe some clams on the half shell, thats it. If you can't even make a decent lobster roll, pack it in. I am in my 60's and have been eating Lobster Rolls since I was 7. This was by far the worst. Save you money and get some pizza.

K L.

Yelp
CRAB BUCKET = $115 !!! Just an FYI. Someone in our party ordered the crab bucket. Everyone else's dinners were under $30; the bucket was $115. I feel that either 1) this whopper of a price should be made known by the server, or 2) it should be posted/updated as the MP changes. Usually when out to dinner, nobody wants to start asking what each of the MP (market prices) are because they don't want to seem like they are pinching pennies when out to dinner with friends. This is not a high-end restaurant and NOBODY is expecting that surprise on their bill. Price transparency from the restaurant would be an appreciated addition.

Alicia B.

Yelp
This place is a gem of a find! The food is absolutely amazing. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is adorable and the staff is wonderful. Kudos to you guys . I highly you try them .

Dave B.

Yelp
Here on a May Friday evening and the flavors of the most memorable meals I've had in a long time are currently still imbued on my tongue. The oysters are farmed down the street and were insanely fresh and delicious. I had the blackened shrimp tacos which were also amazing. This place is right up my alley: amazing fresh fish in an informal beach atmosphere. Good craft beer too

Anthony S.

Yelp
Second horrible experience in a row, last time we went with another couple and said we were never going back. The food was so bad, this time my wife wanted to go for Father's Day 6/16/2024 with the kids and Horrible service, showed up at 5 o'clock, was seated after 10 minutes in front of multiple other families that were seated after us. It took about 30 minutes for the two apps we ordered to come out. after that, the waitress disappeared came back about 30 minutes later finally took our entrée order. Waited about 40 minutes for a total of an hour and 40 minutes with no food. Got up and left. What bothered me was that people that were seated after us had already eaten and had left. It seemed like our waitress was inexperienced or was just too busy to keep up. After we told her we were leaving I guess she ran up to the register to try to cancel the order, no manager or owner came up to us to ask us anything. I will not be going back

Jen W.

Yelp
There are few times in life where you'll come across sweet potato fries that are so perfectly crisp and delicious that you slow down while eating them. Atlantic seafood has those perfect fries! And I ate every. single. one of them. The maple syrup dipping sauces sweet and goes nicely. I love the outdoor seating area with the massive shark jaw that you walk through to go inside the restaurant. Also great for Insta pics. The interior is decorated with catchy slogan's and nautical doodads. Taxidermy fish and fishing nets add to the sea theme. My friend was raving about the burger here, so she had a cheeseburger and regular fries. I decided to go with the flounder fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Very happy I did. The regular fries were ho-hum. Thin without much crunch. The burger was very good. I wasn't a fan of the fried flounder, but seeing as how the fryer temp was spot on, had it been another type of fish, this would've been an excellent sandwich. The seasoning was tasty, bun was soft, the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The tartar sauce was delicious. We had a kombucha and an IPA that paired nicely. My IPA was only five bucks on special. The kombucha was $7.99, but was great to try once. The service is attentive and friendly. It was later in the evening and the restaurant wasn't full, so it was quite comfortable for dinner . I had heard it gets pretty busy. We were able to catch up and chat and had a lovely experience. I would definitely go back, especially in the warmer months when you can sit outside, And to revisit those sweet potato fries.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for almost a year. The reviews alone had me salviating. So I decided to stop by after paddleboarding with a friend and have lunch. I will say, they have the social distancing and precautionary stuff down pat. I was sat and a few minutes later the waitress came for my drink. So far so good. I came for BBQ. Although I was torn between BBQ and tacos, I went for que. As I looked at the menu. I saw biscuits and gravy. Now, you are speaking my language. Biscuits and gravy and que....and they have tacos...I mean is this place heaven? I order the biscuits and gravy and a pulled pork sandwich. I am going to end up in a food coma, I can tell. Waitress takes my order. 20 mins later my biscuits come out. So I am thinking wow this was slow...but ok. The gravy, was really overpowered by onion powder. I mean WOW. It sang of onion powder. It was edible. But wow was the onion strong. Biscuits were ok. But...I am here for que... Out comes the sandwich 25 mins later. I am immediately sad. They have doused it in sauce. This usually is a sure sign of covering up bland meat. But...we shall see. I bite. The sauce is too sweet for my liking. The meat has almost no smoke. It's really not great. This is something I would expect out of the frozen section at Sam's club. The mac and cheese was standard cheesy shells...no real flavor. I sadly won't be back. For like a really long wait and not so great food it just wasn't worth it to me.

Alexandria B.

Yelp
Great spot with delicious options! The oysters and corn nuggets are definitely a fave. Restaurant itself is relatively small but staff is friendly and quick to serve.

Breeze N.

Yelp
So very disappointed, Shrimp were doused in Cajun seasoning but that didn't make them flavorful, Mac and cheese was a total disaster (nothing more to say about it). Sad to say, the wings were the best part to come from a SEAFOOD place and they were mediocre at best.

Dick G.

Yelp
We knew from our Yelp Directions that this little Gem was there but if you blinked driving down Montauk Hwy at night you would def miss it. The sign by the road had bulbs out and it was only by slowing down on this lonely stretch of hwy that we found it...the open sharks mouth beckoning all that dare enter. Talk about funky...this little "shack" is a real find...it contains not only a small restaurant but also a fish market. Bon and I entered and were greeted by a mostly female staff of young energetic gals who all had a smile and were there for your every need. We settled down and had an ice cold beer and a skinny margherita....both wonderful! We perused the menu and chose a couple of appys: a dozen Cherrystones which were perfectly shucked and tasted briny like they were swimming a couple of hours ago,,,,also tried the Steamers...sweet and perfectly prepared...so far a joy ! We shared a main of Seafood Fra Diavalo; mussels, clams, shrimp on a bed of speghetti in a wonderful spicy sauce and enjoyed every bite. The freshness of their food and the perfect prep makes this a def 4 star establishment....if you have the will to find Atlantic, you will have a great seafood feast! In the summer it must be packed so now is the time to go.

Cathleen C.

Yelp
I had been a customer for 20 years. Up until 5 years ago I had great experiences. 5 years ago I found the service was bad when dining in . 5 years ago, I started to only order for pick up. Last Friday I ordered $250 for take out. When I picked up my dinners a young man handed me my take out, refused to provide me with any sides I needed. No lemon, only would give me 1 cocktail sauce and 1 tarter sauce. He was rude. I tried to reach the manager and the owner to express my disappointment to avoid putting in a bad review but was meet with staff answering the phone telling me neither would speak with me. I will never spend my money here again.

Paul B.

Yelp
180 turn from prior great burger. This time rare hamburger ordered came medium well. Request to keep onions away from dish entirely ignored as sliced onions flavored the dish. Ordered side of coleslaw advertised as 4 oz. was the standard courtesy cup, measured at under 3 oz. and watery to boot. Fries were cold.

Michael G.

Yelp
Last night we ordered the Clam Bake (2) from Atlantic Seafood to go. This consists of a lobster, steamers, little necks(or cherry stones), muscles and corn. We live very close to this restaurant and have been disappointed many time but keep trying to "give it another chance" and last night was the last straw. The steamers were so sandy it was impossible to wash them out. The clams had the consistency of leather. The muscles were good, well half of them were good. The other half seemed old. The lobster was tasteless and seemed overcooked and old. The coleslaw was good but we extra for that so.....For $49 shouldn't we expect fresh , clean food from a fish store? Are you distracted by making tacos, burgers etc. We tried, really tried to support this local restaurant but we are out.

Kseniia H.

Yelp
Today was the first time ever that I left no tip at the restaurant. We used to come here all the time for at least 4 years once a week.. maybe even more often so they know us. The thing that ruined our night was when the hostess(server i don't know?) asked us to leave because they had a wait when I was still eating my burger. That happened around 20 minutes after I received my food. Very sad, not coming back.

Yelp
Haven't been here in awhile but was wanting crab legs. They were delicious and price was not bad. Also had shrimp and corn chowder that was good as well. Where it went wrong was the calamari. Too well done and tasted of old oil. Husbands stuffed flounder was just ok and not great. Our server was excellent! Overall an ok experience and hope if we go back again it will be just like how it used to be.

Yelp
The food here is decent however EVERYTHING is served with plastic. It's a total disappointment because being a beachy sea food restaurant they are certainly not ocean friendly. It makes the food feel very cheap but it's very expensive. I wish they would realize the impact this has on our coasts. This place is right next to the water being on the South Shore of Long Island. What a shame. I don't care if they are trying to cut costs or cut back on labor but it's not worth it. My 8year old was even turned off by the amount of plastic that we saw come with our meal.

Yelp
Sorry this place was not worth the money we spend. My son order the sea food lovers platter for $28 it looked like a frozen cheap meal the scallops were the size of a dime the shrimps also tiny it was horrible, My clam chowder soup well the clams were very gummy very hard to chew, the lobster roll said market price, the lobster salad also market price not worth it at all please people don't waist your money on this place. Take a trip to city island fir $120 you get a feast for 2 people that will feed 4 people and you get fresh bread and corn bread and small appetizers all that for free At the sea shore restaurant amazing!! Sorry Atlantic seafood I give one star the waitress was very nice! The raw clams were ok !

Yelp
Clam strips. I would leave my review at that, but I'll tell you more. These were by far the beat clam strips I've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly with a delicious light batter - I'm salivating just writing this review. Fries were cooked perfectly. Shrimp tacos were absolute delicious. Trio of soups - NE clam chowder, Manhattan clam chowder and lobster bisque was a nice starter - small tastes of each. I would skip next time and just focus on the clam strips and shrimp tacos if I'm ever in the area again. Yum!

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this place, the family who owns it is amazing, the food is always delicious and fresh, they have catered my Christmas eves for the last 16 years and I have never been disappointed, it's a great spot to grab lunch, or to satisfy the craving for some oysters or seafood craving's. Try their seafood or shrimp pizza off delicious, the shrimp tacos are ridiculously good, I just wish they gave 3 instead of two cause my fat ass always wants more lol The mussels in white wine sauce crazy good, anything you order you won't be disappointed. 10 stars If I could K1

Yelp
Each season I crave soft shell crab sandwiches and Atlantic Seafood has been my go to spot. Last evening I ordered takeout, my usual with regular fries and cole slaw (amazing) only to be sooo disappointed. I enjoyed the sandwich, but the fries, which are usually so yummy, were inedible. Cold, tasteless and seemed as if they were sitting out for longer than they should. Disappointing to say the least. My biggest pet peeve with this and any restaurant is inconsistency. Drives me bonkers. You can and should do better, especially given the $27 bill.

Yelp
Second time ordering from them. First time was good, the order was right except we ordered a container of coleslaw that we didn't get. Tonight two people ordered the shrimp scampi and what came was 12 tiny shrimp in some butter sauce in a plastic container... and that's it for $26. Very nice people on the phone and at pick up. We called and they told us we should have ordered spaghetti with it as a side but the menu and order taker didn't say anything about it. I've never had shrimp scampi like this. We complained and they offered a credit but not to credit our credit card.

Yelp
Ok, you don't go here for upscale. But you do go for the blackened fish tacos. again and again. thats it. paper napkins, disposable plates and silverware, plastic cups, crushed ice in your wine and fishnets everywhere but get the fish tacos.

Yelp
Ordered here over the summer ... some great tacos and love their seafood department. A little pricier than most, so we don't frequent it, but it is very good quality.

Yelp
I love atlantic seafood. If you ever want to feel like you've gone back to the days when everything was easy, fun and delicious go here. The grilled tuna sandwich is my favorite. The flounder and steamers are also awesome. Great drink selection including rum punch. They even have a huge great white shark mouth that you walk through at the entrance. Service is superb, friendly and very welcoming. They also have a seafood market with local catch including oysters from local farmers. We also run a local business and get this place. Don't ever change. Jay Scott, Silly Lily Fishing Station
