Atmosphere Rooftop Bar

Went here during a late afternoon to have a whisky. The view is fabulous. Seating is limited but comfortably spaced out. And the service was 5 star. Generally, the experience is Ritz Carlton-esque, so you can expect a classy experience. To get here: you would go into the Ritz Carlton, and take the elevator up.

We went to the Ritz Carlton rooftop in Vienna with some friends and had dinner in one of the gondolas. The view and atmosphere were beautiful, the decoration and setup were charming, and the overall experience felt special. The service was excellent as well, with very kind and attentive ladies taking care of us. However, the food was really disappointing. The raclette cheese tasted cheap, and there were very few side options. The raclette machine itself was quite primitive and didn’t work properly, it was difficult to melt and serve the cheese in a clean, professional way. We also ordered dessert, which unfortunately wasn’t great either. Considering the quality, the price was far too high. We paid almost €300 for a couple, for raclette, a few sides, dessert, and some wine. The place looks lovely, and the staff is wonderful, but the food quality and equipment definitely don’t match the prices. I hope they improve the food quality and variety because the place and staff deserve better.

We had a lovely experience in the gondolas celebrating our anniversary. The food was wonderful but the two hour time block was a little bit tight but the staff very graciously allowed us extra time.

I recently visited this rooftop restaurant and it was an incredible experience. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly despite how busy the place was. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality, ambiance, and view, it felt worth it.

It’s a unique atmosphere just near the Stephansdom and beautiful city view. View is charming either with daylight or during the night. They are serving signature cocktails either very generous amount. We’ve booked a table at outside and loved it. However we couldn’t enjoy that much with a table inside because of the loud music and an unleash t smell of every single dish.

Like most bars on Ritz Carlton rooftops - this place was great. Unique cocktails and beautiful views for sunset on one of our last nights in Vienna.

It's a rooftop bar located on top of Ritz Carlton Hotel. In my opinion it has not so clear view. Mostly roofs of other buildings with slight cathedral tower. It's a FCFS basis and usually long wait time around sunset. Service is quick and responsive. We had to wait for almost an hour to sit (and yes missed the sunset). Staff kindly offered complementary infused water to the waiting crowd. It's on a mezzanine on top floor with stairs so no accessible.

Extremely hard to find a table even during the week. They don’t accept reservations for group under 5. The staffs carry abit of attitude possibly because of the bar’s popularity. Everything else is good.

Super cute place with great views of the city. We didn't get to stay long as we got there not long before closing time (I believe closing at 10 pm on a Saturday night). They have some signature drinks as well as a full bar. I recommend to go early, probably best to go for the sunset.

Atmosphere Rooftop Bar has one of the best views of historic Vienna. Situated up a flight of stairs from the 7th floor of the Ritz Carlton you'll find a spot that is great for afternoon spritz, light snacks or a much needed cocktail. The views are to die for, absolutely breathtaking 360 of many sights that you typically can't view from this vantage point. Cocktails are mid range price commensurate with Ritz Carlton level of service. Wait staff is younger so there is a hip vibe. For my taste there is too much smoking allowed in public outdoor spaces, this being one of those spaces. Of course it depends on who is sitting adjacent to you, but it is annoying. It is a smallish area but there's is a good number of tables, some with umbrellas, which comes in handy when it's sunny. It is worth seeing and experiencing, noting there are a handful of roof top options.

Louis R is back in the building. Louis R read a Yelp review, which he never does, and agrees with the content 100%. "Fantastic bar with great rooftop view. DJ playing house music, service was very on the ball. They have blankets should you get cold." Louis R loves that this rooftop has the best panoramic view of the entire city. Louis R loves the strong and refreshing cocktails, which may be expensive but Louis R was drinking at a rooftop bar at the Ritz. Louis R will be back. Be like Louis R, drink on the best rooftop bars in Austria.

Found this place after having an amazing dinner downstairs. I think we were expecting swanky Ritz Carlton vibes but it was just....meh. Drinks and music were good but nothing sexy or upscale about this rooftop bar.

You don't get it if you Are not a hotel guest, even so its totally empty. Stupid! If its not for the public, it should not be at yelp at all.

Great bar with a beautiful rooftop view. Whether in the day or night you will for sure love the place. You can't go wrong drinking a cocktail on the top of the world. The staff is lovely and the drinks as well. Recommended to all visiting or living in Wien!

I am a bit conflicted about this place. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the view is great! The Ritz is also very central and easy to get to. The terrace has a stylish feel. My wine was quite delicious! Now the negative. The cheapest wine is €7. A standard Sauvignon Blanc is €9. The cheapest food is olives with bread sticks for €8. The tiny cheese plate is €18! I'm sorry but that's crazy! Great view or not. This is silly pricing! Although the higher walls keep the wind away, they also trap the smoke. There was a group of 6 chain-smoking youngsters on the table next to us and it all blew our way. It was full so we couldn't change tables. I hope the smoking ban in 2018 will include terraces! It also takes away from the stylish ambience and makes it more like a dive bar with a view.

You can not go wrong if you venture to the top of the world for a drink. When you go there expect a great view of Vienna, whether in the day or night, you will most certainly like the view. However before you get to enjoy the view, you will be greeted by the very best in the hospitality industry, with the friendliest smile and most pleasant way of speaking to you, in English and or German, sometimes both. While they do serve normal and or common cocktails there, the menu will only list the special cocktails, designed by the staff themselves. While expensive for the common people, others will find the prices very normal. But do remember you are paying for the view and quality staff as well. I can assure you that your experience with be memorable in the most pleasant way possible. SO GO NOW.

The Ritz Carlton Rooftopbar is nice. The view is wonderful, you see St. Stephan and other touristical important spots, also the fact that you could get there a sunny spot until sunset is nice. Together with your order you get some crackers as a snack, I have to mention that the service is totally caring and absolutely nice!!!! but as a matter of fact you are sourrounded by a huge number of "wanna be's" Dresscode is not predefined by the hotel, but definitely by its guests who look at you if you are not propperly dressed according to them. The cocktails a very good and special, but 18€ each is just absolutely pricy, especially because the glasses are full of ice and not even 1/4l. But everything there looks classy and luxuriouse, even the menue card is one of a kind.

Fantastic bar with great rooftop view. DJ playing house music, service was very on the ball. They have blankets should you get cold. When we went, had a lovely surprise of fireworks and probably the best view in the enitre city. Drinks are expensive but in my opinion worth it given it was a rooftop and the ritz as well as strong drinks.

Atmosphere is a good name for this roof top bar. The view is amazing and the staff is really friendly and helpful in German or in English. It's a classy place and the clientale is mixed with business men, tourists and girlies like me who like to see and be seen:) The lounge style seating mixed in with hightops is practical and comfy. Why the 3 stars you ask? My mixed drink (nada cranberry cobbler) was nothing special or filled with the several ingredients as the menu reads nor was it worth the 9 euro. The glass was filled with ice and from what i could taste, only cranberry juice. My friend's alcoholic version was also a dud. I wish they served up drinks that matched the atmosphere of Atmosphere.

Great view of the city- and very good service. The blue light strips on the deck are a bit cheesy, but become entrancing to stare at after a few cocktails. The Viennese sampler platter (actual name I can't recall) was a perfect stop-gap for later dinner.
