This Hollywood Thai Night Market Brings Bangkok Vibes and Food to LA | Eater LA

"I loved the grilled custard-stuffed buns from the two sisters behind Pang Aeng—the flame-licked bread smells buttery and comforting—and they offer five custard flavors (young coconut, pandan, chocolate, Thai tea, and taro); three dinner-roll-sized buns cost $12, pandan is a crowd favorite for its floral vanilla notes and green hue, and their creme bruleed sweet potato (not traditional but delicious) features a crackable sugar topping, silky custard filling, and fluffy potato center." - Kat Thompson

The food I got was pretty delicious. Decently priced depending on what you get. However there are NOT 30 vendors like it has advertised on the street. Maybe even less than 15 which is ashame. A lot smaller place in person but a good amount of tables. Came on a Saturday it got packed around 730. Do not get Thai Tea from the jack sparrow dude, it is probably the worst Thai Tea around for 7 bucks. It was very watery tasting.

A fun outdoor vendor area right by Hollywood Blvd. We hit this for some Thai food. Lots of choices and all looked good. Nice people and friendly vibe. Some good music, picnic tables and heaters for a chilly night. I would come again if I lived in the area.

Google
Such a cool Thai street food market in Hollywood, you can get real real Thai street food here. The market is well organized and very clean, if you wanna try Thai street food I would recommend this market to anyone. Be noted that the market only operates on weekends Friday-Saturday-Sunday 5 pm.- 11 pm.

Really good pad thai. So much great food at this Thai night market right by Hollywood Blvd. Loved my pad see ew and pandan chifon cake with coconut. My friend had the hainan chicken and loved it. I could see the gentleman with the wok stir fry my noodles so it came delicious and hot! They’re open Friday and Saturdays until 11pm. Highly recommend! Will get the satay, khao soy, sticky rice, pad thai, boat noodles, and pho next time. Clean with picnic tables and parking .

Stepping into this night market gem is a journey to a culinary paradise! Among their mouth-watering array of dishes, the Leng Saap stands out as a must-try masterpiece. The perfect balance of spicy and tangy flavors will dance on your palate, thanks to the expert blend of lime, Thai bird chili, and fresh cilantro. Each bite offers a burst of flavors that are bold yet harmoniously blended, making it an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a lover of Thai cuisine or looking to explore new taste sensations, this dish is a testament to the chef’s skill and passion for authentic flavors. Highly recommend visiting and diving into their Leng Saap - it’s not just food; it’s a flavor adventure that you’ll want to experience over and over again

Came on a Sunday right when it opens up. Starts getting busier an hour into it. Most accept cards except for a few that were cash or zelle. Daughter got the tacos, wife got the octopus and a skewer of chicken gizzards. I ordered the pork belly. We were all pretty happy with our meals.

Google
This shrimp cake burger and shumai are delicious. Shrimp patty is so thick and super juicy that it's melting in your mouths 🤤. Both foods are from the "Ma Shrimp Thai Fusion" booth near the night market entrance. 9.5/10 is recommended to eat. 🇹🇭

Yelp
Our friends invited us to join them for dinner at atSiam Night Market. We arrived at opening and it looked like a few vendors were either showing us as we arrived or haven't gotten there. We didn't mind and loved the set up of the market. Definitely bring wipes as it doesn't seem like they bus or clean off the tables between diners. The food was all delicious. We got some flat noodles, tom kha soup, and a mango smoothie. We were very pleased. They have a secured parking lot with a fee.

Yelp
I've been here twice and loved both experiences. The first time I came at 5pm on a Friday and was able to find street parking easily. The second, I came on a Saturday around 5:30 and parked in the $55 lot. Food is really good and authentic. Some dishes are better in a restaurant, while others are better at the night market! I don't remember each vendors name, however not every vendor will be there every weekend. I think it just depends. Both times I did get Hay Sate and it was so good both times. I would avoid getting the beef though, it is super dry. Chicken is amazing though. I also got the fried pork over rice both times. I think this is good but it is literally only pork over white rice. I've gotten the khao soi which was delicious but I wouldn't get again as the portion sizes are not worth it. I've also got an oyster omelette which would get again! The drink stand that has a guy dressed as Pirates of the Caribbean is worth visiting. They have unique drink flavors which you can't get anywhere else like the longan drink! Overall I'll be back. I do feel that parking in the $55 lot is worth it. With the $55, you get $50 worth of food vouchers and you pay $5 parking. The food vouchers are in tickets of $10 and if your food wasn't exactly $10, you get cash back. You will definitely be spending over $50 though so it's definitely worth it!

Yelp
When I came here in February, there was a good variety of food stalls, lots of people, and only a couple of tables to sit at. Then I went last Saturday, and there were no crowds and around 10 food stalls but plenty of tables to sit at. Both times I came to eat at Srisaket Thai Street Food and the food was delicious. I highly recommend their Pad See Ew. They have a wok station so it's pretty cool to see them make it in front of you if you want to watch them stir fry it in the wok. I also tried Yummy Crispy Pork and their crispy pork was so deliciously fatty and crispy. It was excellently fried. It comes with a soft bed of rice and some dipping sauce on the side. A new stand that I saw this time around that I didn't see last time was a taco stand. It was quite a big stand with their own seats and lights and it looks very busy. I didn't get a chance to try this stand but if I'm in the area again, I'd love to try it. Last time I was here, parking was extremely difficult to find as there were so many people and stands at the night market (it seems like the night market is held in a large private parking lot). However this time, the night market seemed smaller so there was plenty of parking in the same lot as the night market. Most stalls here take venmo, card, or cash. It was a fun foodie experience so if i'm in the area, I would love to check it out again.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday around 5:30 pm to meet up with some friends. We luckily found some parking on the street less than a block away. Metered parking is required until 8 pm on Sundays but is only $1/hour. It wasn't too crowded and there was little to no wait at the stands. There are a good number of tables to sit at, a couple of standing tables, and later on they had live music. Some of the stands accept Venmo, Zelle, card, and cash. Cash is probably the most widely accepted. As we waited for our friends, my partner got a mango slush with lychee jelly from the Pink Mango stand. It was delicious! Made with real mango and came with a slice of mango. Very refreshing and not too sweet. It was about $10 with the jelly. Once our friends arrived we immediately jumped in to ordering food. We got a medium sized soft shell crab appetizer ($15) from Thai Thai Appetizer. It came with 2 soft shell crabs cut in half and a couple of tempura green beans and broccoli. It was delicious! Not piping hot fresh but still good and crispy. The sweet and sour sauce wasn't too sweet and went well with the food. This is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Wouldn't get it every time but happy to have gotten it this time! Next was the spicy Thai basil crispy pork ($15) from Yummy Crispy Pork. We got it medium spicy but after trying it, could have gone higher. This was delicious and would definitely get again! It was very crispy and had great flavor. I really loved the Thai basil that came with it. It was very crispy and had sweet and savory flavor that went well with the rice. The last thing we got was the Khao Soi with chicken ($12) from Sao Ha Cafe. I also tried to order four fried bread buns ($1/each) with pandan cream ($2) but they were out of the pandan cream so I got sweetened condensed milk instead ($1). The fried dough was as expected but not piping hot. The khao soi was excellent, no complaints except I wish there was more! Honestly a pretty nice small Thai night market. A difficult location and not very close to me so probably wouldn't return that often. But good to try at least once! I prefer the Thai weekend market at Wat Thai temple in North Hollywood.

Yelp
Food options here are unreal! My girlfriend and I met with some friends here on a Sunday around sundown. We hit the parking lottery and luckily found spots close by considering the market is right by N.Hollywood congestion. There's seating in between all the food stands and some music from the speakers or even live performers; that was a cool surprise! As always, we have the food stands a nice walk through then pounced on our favorite picks. My favorites were the mango slush and Khao Soy. The slushy was a nice mini frozen shot of natural mango + lychee jelly in every slurp. It was pretty hot out, so it was a quenching option and even had the other half of the mango hanging off the rim! Slam dunk. The Khao Soy was just the savory need my tongue did not know it needed. The broth was perfection in my opinion; Slight creamy and rich umami flavor. Lovely soup and The serving was plentiful. The market was such a win. I felt like I went 5-0 on everything we purchased and would certainly return.

Yelp
Obsessed! This Thai Night Market is just off of Hollywood Boulevard, a bit hidden but well worth stopping at. My friend and I popped in last week and were lucky to happen upon their Christmas celebrations! There was a raffle and somehow we ended up winning this dope Sonic the Hedgehog lego set! I don't know if this raffle was special for the holidays or always happens but that is such a fun touch. We came a couple hours before closing and everything was still open and poppin'. We were happy to see all types of vendors serving various Thai cuisines, drinks and a random taco stand. My friend was actually excited about the taco place and said it's really popular so there's that! Now me, I can be quite basic to my roots sometimes and I ordered chicken pad thai. No regrets, it was really delicious here. Freshly stir-fried and into my belly, I absolutely loved it. So far, it might be the best I've had in LA actually and I've had many, lolz. From another stand, my friend and I shared the Spicy Thai Basil Crispy Pork and I liked that. It was a tad dry but overall good dish. There's so much more to try there, I'll definitely be back for more eats. The great thing is they have their own little parking lot which is free when attending the market! However, upon entrance to the market you need to buy $40 worth of vendor tickets for food. Or you can pay for parking & not buy vendor tickets. They mention using discount code Atsiam"for $5 off parking, which will make it $20. Pretty pricey but super convenient. You can get change at booths when using the tickets but be ready that you will spend that much when entering. It's kind of an odd process but I suppose it ensures people don't lurk around and use cheap parking for other areas. This is Hollyweird after all. It worked out for us perfectly though because we wanted to try a bunch of different booths. atSiam is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 5-11pm!

Yelp
I appreciate the Thai Night Markets popping up in L.A., and Atsiam is a relatively new one in Hollywood. They no longer offer free parking for the first hour, but they have a $5 off $25 promo for parking. You can also try to find street parking, and I was lucky to grab a metered street parking, which was $2/hour. The night market runs from Fridays through Sundays from 5:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Prices for dishes are pretty good. I tried the Srisaket Thai Street Food, which had dishes for $12-14. I ordered the Fried Rice for $12 and the Oyster Omelette for $14. I also tried Siritong Foods, which is their take on Thai Tacos. I got three tacos for $12: the chicken satay, the fish sauce carne asada, and the Thai BBQ pork. Overall, not bad!

Yelp
What a fun place to go. I've been twice and the first time there were way more vendors. Not sure if it was seasonal are or because of the day of the week but second time was a bit disappointed. Both tunes the food was great - so authentic. So spicy which is annoying lol but authentic !!! I just love the ambiance which gives real Thai street vibes. Service at all Biggs was fast and easy ! Parking is tough and free for an hour in the small lot but then $20. If you can find street parking that's great but hard.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Small parking lot of vendors, several parking options from their website! Some of my eats from different stalls. + Pork Skewer ($3): worth it, sweet and tender (8.5/10) + Chicken Khao Soi ($15): requested mild spice, one tender chicken leg over sweet curry-like soup with egg noodles, mustard pickles, and raw onion (8/10) + Thai Tea and Pandan Hotcakes ($7): 6 of each, mochi like dessert. Thai tea one had good, strong Thai tea flavor! (7.3/10) Pandan was ok (6.8/10)
google avatar

Linh N.

Yelp
Food was delicious. We were a little disappointed since not all the food/vendors were there as advertised on social media. They had live music and he was super talented, playing and singing all the songs by himself. Worth checking out if you've never been before.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Probably more atmospheric and lively when it's warmer. Kind of empty at 7:30pm on Black Friday and there weren't as many vendors as I thought there would be. I forgot to note the names of the Individual vendors but the chicken and pork skewers and a coconut curry with rice dish were tasty. Based on other photos I saw, there may be more vendors during warmer months. I don't know if there are more vendors during the weekends. We did meter street parking but the parking signs are ambiguous. It seems you do $5 lot parking if you do a $55 spend. It wasn't particularly cheap so you may have more choices and better food if you went to a Thai restaurant.

Yelp
Parking is tight !!! One hour free parking available in a super tiny lot located right at the night market but space is limited so you probably won't find a spot unless you get REALLY lucky. Street parking is even harder In this neck of the woods. There's a parking lot directly across the street but it's a pretty hefty price tag. I gave up and ended up parking at the pharmacy lot nearby. Park at your own risk if you end up doing so, don't come at me if you end up getting towed. So many food options here but I didn't have time to wait in line for a lot of them. Your girl was scared her car was going to end up at some random Hollywood impound lot. All the vendors take Zelle/Venmo. Some vendors even give you samples before purchasing. There's a lot of tables and seats all around the night market but may be hard to find open seating depending on how busy it is for the night. I saw people lay down floor mats and made their own little picnic area away from the crowd.

Yelp
Cute weekend night market by the walk of fame. I expected it to be bigger tbh because they boast being LA's biggest Thai street market but it was pretty small imo. A dozen or so vendors with similar offerings. Food was good but basically restaurant price. Got pad see ew for $15, drink for $8, and 2 mango sticky rices for $26. It was pretty packed on a Sunday night. There were no seating available so my friend and I ended up buying food from the taco vendor since they had their own tables. Nice place to check out for a date or friends hang but nothing spectacular to keep returning for. Parking - public lot for $25; right across the street it's $15. Hard to find street parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent Thai night market with all your staples, all your noodle dishes, satay, mango sticky rice etc. I actually thought it would be bigger, but since it's every week I guess this size makes sense. I really enjoyed the spicy crispy pork at this one stall and tried kanom krok (mini Thai pancakes) for the first time. This sweet potato with a crème brûlée top was also good but overpriced. I feel like these night markets have gone into county fair levels of gimmicky, so nothing is really that good of a deal, but it's still fun to visit and support small businesses. Parking is a little tough though, I believe you get one free hour in their lot, but if you go over, it's a flat fee. We luckily were able to find street parking 2 blocks over and just walked here. Wish they had a little bit more variety, but overall is still really fun if you're just looking for quick bites of a little bit of everything.
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
Parking will be tough but you can do it.. because the food here is amazing. The papaya salad is a must get!!!!! I still dream about the papaya salad. I recommend getting the lowest spice, even if you think you can handle it because I learned my lesson the hard way lol. There is spicy octopus. Absolutely delicious, especially when I brought it home to microwave haha There's a stand that sells crispy fried pork and that has been a favorite. The pork is so crispy and the spice is perfect. The great thing is a lot of these folks take Zelle or Venmo so you don't really need cash!

Yelp
If you miss Thai food, go to this night market in DTLA. I went to AtSiam night market with my friends about 2-3 weeks ago on Friday night, I would say parking was little hard to find so we had to wait a little bit. The first hour was FREE, but after 1 hour they charge $20 for flat rate. There were about 20-30 food vendors and they had many variety of food to choose. We started with Thai meatballs and they were so good. I grew up in Asia so having Thai meatball for after so long, they were HEAVEN to me. I wish their meatballs were a little bit more crispy. After that, we ordered boat noodle, chicken+pork satay, Thai crispy mini pancakes, drinks and sour mango with KAPIK(their special sauce). I have to say these foods were yummy but pricey at the same time. Overall, it was a great place to enjoy and spend good quality time with friends. I will definitely go back again in the summer. I included the price I paid in the photos :)
google avatar

Lily T.

Yelp
Went on Sunday evening, got here right before 5pm. Vendors were ready and some were still setting up. Wasn't as crowded as they have this every Fri-Sun, which is nice. There are plenty of tables and seating for you to enjoy the authentic Thai selection. Plenty of parking and there are street parking if you come early enough. Cash and card are accepted

Yelp
Small Thai Night Food Market. Very cute and delicious food but limited selection, went on a saturday night. Prices were affordable as well

Yelp
I've been really meaning to visit this night market for awhile, and glad that I finally had the time to come out and try! It's two rows of different vendors, so there's a good variety :o We tried the Northern Curry noodle soup, pork and chicken skewers, pad thai, and mango sticky rice (ube). For the Northern Curry noodle soup, it tasted great, but I was really concerned about food handling safety.. After exchanging cash, the vendor continued to use the same gloves to prepare our dish. I'm not sure how long she was wearing the gloves for, but to handle food and money with your hands is a bit of a concern in regards to bacteria and other issues. Full hand grabs of toppings with the cash-touched gloves. I did not really like that. Pork and chicken skewers were great! I preferred the pork ones, but both were good! It came with sticky rice as part of the package we chose. The pad thai was yummy! They were really busy though, so it did take a bit longer to come out, but that was expected. Really liked that stall. The mango sticky ube rice was good for the most part; just the ube rice didn't really taste like ube.. Mangoes were ripe though. I also wish they gave us a bit more condensed milk to use. :( Parking situation is a bit difficult, but we managed to snag a street spot. I liked the overall atmosphere; no one was really pushy or anything and lines were easy to do. I don't think I'll be back, but it was fun to go and check it out!
google avatar

Hop N.

Yelp
Parking was quite confusing when we first pulled up to the lot.. but we found one regardless of the $25 parking fee lol... Anyways I've been wanting to visit this Thai night market and wow upon arrival you could already smell all that good food luring you their booth! Had fun time picking and choosing to eat from all the different vendors some are more pricier than the other so just walk around and pick your fav. Bring cash if you can but they also accept Zelle and Venmo as well ( with fees for some booth). Good to try for first time not sure if I like the food enough to come back next time lol.
google avatar

Nina N.

Yelp
Basically a huge parking lot where two rows has been converted into food booths and the rest is still a lot. First hour here is free and the hour after that is $20. Initially I thought there would be more booths but I was happy to see that each booth is unique and though some might carry similar food items they all have different varieties that make them each special. You can get appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks here. I went with a pretty large group of friends so we were able to try many dishes. What stood out were the pad Thai and pad see ew dishes, the cheese corn, the papaya salad, the crispy fried chicken, and the pink mango drinks. The people are friendly and booths also accept Venmo or zelle as payment methods. The food comes out in a timely manner and overall a chill area. When you come on busy nights it is a little harder looking for seating so just try to come early, same with parking. Overall a decent place to try with friends and family if you live around the surrounding areas. We're over an hour drive and I don't know if it was worth it for me to do it again.
google avatar

Lillian T.

Yelp
There's free parking for an hour, but you could also park at the nearby CVS if you wanted to since there's usually a line for parking. There's two aisles of food stands and it's not too crowded! We went on a Sunday night. The vibes were fun, just like a mini night market. There was plenty of variety and some food that you wouldn't find in a normal restaurant. We got some pork skewers and beef satay with mango and sticky rice for dessert. Some places run out of food if you come too late so if you're craving somethjng in particular, it might be good to come early!
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
I love that America is finally getting night markets. This one is pretty good. Lots of options. Good food. Better food in Thai Town but good if you're Hollywood and want to grab some Thai food. Love that it's all outside and spread apart. Better that way for COVID safety, though none of the vendors mask. Siam brings some life into the neighborhood which is otherwise touristy
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
I went with a couple of friends and it was a mixed experience. Although they say there is an hour's free parking, the lot is small. I was told that the free parking was full and the adjacent lots were expensive. After circling a few times, I got lucky and found street parking. After purchasing food, we had a hard time finding a place to sit as the amount of tables was limited. On the positive side, the food was good, we tried food from several different vendors and enjoyed everything we had.
google avatar

Astrid S.

Yelp
Parking is free for one hour. Set a timer on your phone and make sure to get the card to the lady in one hour. I feel this is fair. The stalls were fine. Some better than others. I spent like $50 and would I do it again- I def would not spend it on the stalls I spent it on tonight since they were mediocre. But I'd try all other stalls I didn't get to try.
google avatar

Will X.

Yelp
Atsiam is a cozy cute Thai market in Hollywood that has maybe around 20 stalls and a good amount of seating. Majority of stalls are Thai but there are a few serving other Asian fare as well. The noodles I had were tasty and cooked well. Some do the skewers were a bit more on the bland side. So stalls will vary and you're paying close to restaurant prices. Dog friendly. There's a lot nearby with 1 hour free or you can try your luck with street parking.
google avatar

Jake A.

Yelp
The market has a wide variety of delicious options and even some options from dim sum and Chinese food all the way to classic Thai dishes like pad Thai. I got some lamb skewers from Chinese north east stall, I got some pork belly and rice and egg from another style and a delicious shrimp pad Thai style in the southwest corner of the market, yellow curry from another style was fantastic And even came with a cute little flag in the bowl. This market is open every week and it seems that it's not too crowded but still popular parking was a bit of a challenge for the rest of our group, but we got lucky by finding an open spot directly next to the market, I hope to return soon to try the rest of the stalls! The prices were quite reasonable. It didn't seem that anything was too overly expensive or anything stood out as being very inexpensive. Run of the mill prices for an LA night market in my experience!
google avatar

Elle C.

Yelp
New Thai night market where you can try a sampling of food. It isn't as bustling as Wat Temple, but a nice alternative if you don't want to drive to Sun Valley or go during the daytime. There were tables for you to enjoy your food, and a small coned off section where there's free 1 hr parking. If not, there was metered street parking or paid lot parking. Bring cash, although some stalls did accept venmo/zelle. The live music was nice, though I'm not sure if someone will always be performing. If Thai food isn't your thing, Tire Shop Taqueria was operating on the same lot.
google avatar

Anne A.

Yelp
I am not sure it's worth the trouble coming to this night market. We have so many great Thai restaurants in the area like Sapp Coffee Shop or Lacha Somtum... and there's also Wat Thai in North Hollywood with easier parking if you get there before 10 am. I got Intel that the best thing at this night market is the khao soi, but this same vendor is also at Wat Thai in North Hollywood. You will find some things you won't find at Wat Thai like Hat Yai (Thai fried chicken) and the twisty potato stick so it might be worth a look. Prices aren't cheap and is the almost the same at restaurants at the $15+ range. Finding a table can be tough as it was full at around 5:30 pm. Restrooms are port-o-potties. If you're a fan of Tire Shop Taqueria, they have a stand inside the night market with plenty of seating as most people seem to be there for Thai food. It's probably more for the scene and to pretend you're at a night market in Bangkok maybe. Probably OK to check out at least once. Parking: 1-hour free parking lot is small so probably best to get there right at 5 pm as they won't let you park early. I got intel from a CVS employee that they tow cars every hour as they will announce inside CVS if you are in there. A tow truck is parked in front taking pictures of every car.

Yelp
Very disappointed as we were driving for 4 hours just to come here to get food . I've seen/heard about this Siam night market and always wanted to come , but because I've always working and never have the right schedule to come here and finally got a chance to finally come ! We live in Las Vegas , so we decided to come for FOOD to eat and drive right back. After I've watch a lot of videos on YouTube about this and it does looks good in the videos with a lot of vendors shown. When I got here , gotta say it was way smaller ~~~ what a bummer ! We got squid with seafood sauce 1/10 super chewy only to try it and had to throw it away :( got more squid with long stick from a different vendor with Mala flavor 3/10. Got crab fried rice 9/10 and suki yaki 9/10 ( the only decent food in there !) we were only there for maybe 30 minutes . Very very disappointed! Maybe it was just A BAD TIMING to come this week !!

Yelp
Ever since I heard about this place from a friend, I knew I had to come out and visit Atsiam Night Market. This humble Thai street food place is open on Friday-Sunday from 5-11 PM. You'll find the Siam Night Market set up in a small section of a parking lot on Cahuenga in Hollywood. There's a limited amount of parking available in that lot. It's free for the first hour, but they will charge a flat $20 fee after that. I'm assuming it is to encourage patrons to come dine and rotate out at a healthy pace to avoid locking out the parking spots (otherwise, you got to pay the coin). I highly recommend you get there early. The backdrop is beautiful especially towards the late afternoon as the blond strands of the setting sun give way to the pink & blue hues of the early evening. The night market is quaint as it only houses 2 rows of stalls with a couple of dozen vendors total. Each stall specializes in a specific, individual Thai food item - specialty waffles, barbecue skewers, moo ping (marinated grilled pork), and so on. Entrance to the market is free. From the twinkling lights, cool touch of the evening air, Thai music in the background, and wafts of tantalizing aromas in the air, you get a sample of the Thai night market experience (admittedly, the ones I've been to in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, etc. are much grander in scale and vendor offerings). Despite its petite size, I still had a good time there. I hope it continues to see more success and eventually grow in size, location, and so on. I see such potential for it! :) FOOD (4/5) SHABU STICK: I started off light with a bacon wrapped enoki mushroom skewer ($4) from Shabu Stick. It's about $2-4 for each grilled meat or veggie skewer. They also offer a shabu soup option where you can enjoy your selection of skewers alongside your choice of warm broth. My enoki bacon roll was delicious, and I very much enjoyed it with my side of sukiyaki dipping sauce. THAI HOMEMADE SAUSAGE: Next up was an order of Thai grilled sausages (Sai grok woon sen) from this spot ($10 for 5 pieces). A snappy sausage casing wraps around a thick blend of minced pork, glass noodles, garlic, lemon grass, etc. You chase a bite of the sausage with a bit of Thai chili for heat and cabbage for cooling. Very yummy! JAYJAY MOO PING: I had to go for one of my favorite Thai street food items, Moo Ping. Moo Ping is tender, barbecued pork with an addicting combination of sweet, salty, smoky, spicy, and sour flavors. This comes from marinading in a mix of garlic, palm sugar, fish and soy and oyster sauces, coconut cream, and so on. Each stick of moo ping is $3, which is a great price for this delightful item. THAI COUNTRY CAFE: The best part of the night was getting a drink made by the (Thai) Captain Jack Sparrow. You can spot him busily running a tight ship at the Thai Country Cafe stand. One of the friendliest pirates I know, and he doesn't try to hornswaggle your booty of gold for any of his drinks. For $6, he poured me a tall glass of refreshing, sweet longan juice . A fantastic solution for this landlubber's parched throat (plus, it comes with a little, tropical umbrella).

Yelp
Good variety of options to explore! Free parking for 1hr then a $20 flat rate fee after. Relatively safe and good to try a variety of food for a quick bite. Not to expensive in comparison to other food fairs or night markets.

Yelp
Atsiam Night Market is a newly opened Thai night market (opened in Oct 2023) located just two blocks away from Hollywood Pantages Theatre. [Hours]: Friday to Sunday from: 5 PM to 11 PM. [Parking]: Free one hour free parking in the adjacent designated area (LAZ Parking in Hollywood 530 - 1711 N Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028). I came at 5:30 PM and told the parking staff "I am here for the night market." He wrote my arrival time and said I will be charged $20 if I stay for more than one hour. Please note that the parking lot will get pack pretty quickly after 6 PM. Second option is street metered parking (2-hour limit) on N Cahuenga Blvd and it could be a better & cheaper parking option if you don't want to accidentally pay $20 flat rate after the 1st free hour in the designated lot. [Amenity & Entry]: There are plenty outdoor tables, but they do get packed pretty quickly during the busy 6 PM dinner hour. Pretty clean night market and free admission. Porta Potties are available in the parking lot. [Vendors]: There are 20+ different Thai food vendors (plus one Mexican taco vendor) and some of vendors include the following: * Tire Shop Taqueria [Authentic Tijuana-style Tacos] * Pong Pad Thai Boran [$14 Pad Thai] * Shabu Stick [$12 - $19 Shabu Soup + Skewers] * Songkran Thai Street Food [Tom Yum Thai noodle, Pho, and Dry Noodles] * KHUA/OB by Pinnto Kitchen [$35 Glass Noodles with Prawn to $18 Glass Noodles with Shrimp] * Siritong Foods [3 Thai tacos for $12] * Thai Thai [Fried Foods Like Egg Rolls, Samosa Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, Fried Wonton, Sweet Potato Ball With Cream Cheese, Crispy Mushroom, Fried Banana, Soft-Shell Crab] * Guay Jab Ubon Vietnamese & Thai Cuisine [$12 Shrimp Rolls, $10 Fried Spring Rolls, $10 Banh Cuon aka Steamed Rice Roll, etc] * Aileen's Homemade [$10 Pandan Crispy Waffle, $6 Cheese Toast, $12 Thai Crepe, $10 Mango Sticky Rice] * Hay Sate Thai Skewers [$15 to $17 Pork/Beef/Chicken Skewers] * Sao Ha Cafe [$12 Khao Soi, $1 Pa Tong Go aka Chinese doughnuts, $12 Fish Maw Soup, $8 to $10 Rice Porridge aka Congee] * Srisaket Thai Street Food [$12 - $14 on Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Chow Mein, Pad Kee Mow aka Drunken Noodles, Fried Rice, Thai Omelette, Pad Ka Prow, etc] * Unknown vendor with Thai characters stating "Great Fun" [$15 Grilled Pork, Grilled Fish, Grilled Pork Neck] * JayJay Moo Ping [Grilled Pork & Grilled Chicken] * Pang Aeng [$5 Pang Aeng (charboiled bread stuffed with assorted filling) or 3 piece for $12 Pang Aeng Combo] * Mama Oh Ho! [$14 to $25 Various Tom Yum Noodle Soup] * Ka Moo - Cantonese Style by Uncle Joe [Slow-Braised Pork Leg] * Cha-M Milk Tea [Boba Milk Tea] * Others include Giant Octopus, Bar B Grill, Makinjang Sushi, Mick Chicken Rice, Leng Saap Street (Juicy Savory Pork Bones with Tangy Sauce), Lao Street Food, Fruitland, Roti Bangkok, etc. *** [Beef Pad See Ew from Srisaket Thai Street Food - $12 + $2 beef]: Unexpectedly good and it had an extra charred flavor. Absolutely amazing and one of the best pad see ew I have had. [Khao Soi from Sao Ha Cafe - $12]: Not as amazing as pad see ew, but this bowl was still pretty good. [Pork and Chicken Skewers from JayJay Moo Ping - $3 each]: These skewers tasted pretty flavorful - not bad at all. *** Most of low ratings are mostly due to poor parking situation, but I would recommend visitors to come early before 5:45 PM to avoid possible parking hassle. Yes Wat Thai weekly open air Thai street food is cheaper and has more manageable parking situation, but North Hollywood is too out of the way for West LA residents and certain food ran out before 5 PM closing time. If visitors can plan ahead and have no issues with parking, then this is actually a really nice night market with (1) no super long waiting lines and (2) excellent authentic Thai food.

Yelp
I really enjoyed myself at this night market -- felt like straight from the streets of Chiang Mai, Thailand! I went on a Friday night at 8 PM and this place way hopping. There are two corridors of Thai street food stalls with stands located on each side. Highlights definitely included the Thai captain Jack Sparrow serving boba teas, the live keyboard player/vocalist singing classic pop hits, and another singer on the other side who was really into her songs -- singing in Thai and jamming out. I grabbed a bowl of the Northern Thai speciality Khao soi with tofu. This is one of my favorite dishes with plenty of noodles in a thick, rich coconut broth, crispy noodles topped with chopped cilantro, sliced shallots, pickled mustard greens, nam prik pao (a Thai sweet/spicy chili sauce), and fresh lime. Pick your dishes then find your way to the communal dining area -- where the diners I ate with bonded over fried octopus and the latest marathons and 10Ks they ran. I didn't have much to share since I don't think I've run since 2014! But hey, the octopus did look good! Parking seemed to be a complaint among reviewers, but I was thrilled the place had not only parking, but you get 1 hour for free. That's unheard of in Hollywood. I also thought this spot would be more in Thai Town given the food and concept. But this is right in the heart of Hollywood baby -- right off Hollywood Blvd and all the wild that Hollywood brings. I definitely want to come back, especially with friends. I went out solo, which was still fun. But this is a great communal experience, whether with a partner, date or a group. Stalls of course take cash, but most seem to also take credit cards, Venmo or Tap/Apple pay.

Yelp
LA's FIRST authentic thai night market! with 29 food vendors, you'll have the ultimate experience with thai food and culture. ranging from noodle soups to finger foods, there's a large variety of different thai food for you to try (desserts too!) @at_siamnightmarket overall: 5/5 order: @giantoctopusla -- fried baby octopus w/ spicy sauce (we chose MILD), served with cabbage 5/5 * CHEF'S KISS! this was sooo delicious and was honestly our favorite. it's made with their special thai seafood sauce (3 levels: mild, medium, spicy) with hints of "tanginess, savory fish sauce, fiery chili, and fragrant garlic". it complements the tender and crispy octopus that's fried to golden perfection @pinkmangohouse -- mango with ube sticky rice 4.5/5 * a fan favorite! aside from its visuals, their elevated mango sticky rice with an ube twist makes it the best sweet treat! it's made from the freshest ingredients with a drizzle of coconut milk. i do wish there was more coconut milk given but overall an amazing dessert @jayjaymooping -- thai bbq pork w/ sticky rice 4.8/5 * get a taste of authentic thai bbq flavors here ! their skewers were so tender and juicy, with sweet and savory flavors. be sure to always pair this with sticky rice! i do wish there were more garnishes or veggies to just add more balance to the plate :) parking: - 1 hour FREE parking (designated lot); THEN $20 flat rate - PAID street parking if you're able to find!

Yelp
First thing to be warned of: parking is BRUTAL. There's a lot across the street for I think $15. Various around are $20. Street spots are 2 hour until midnight usually on fri/Sat but hard to find. I ended up finding a sweet unmarked spot for free across from the lgbt center. Granted, I did come around 6:30 on Friday night (yesterday). Anyway, with that out of the way. Lots of selection here. There are even a couple taco trucks just in case. Food: -I personally loved the northern style curry soup from Sao Ha Cafe. -The pho my friends got looked good. Someone got pad see ew and it was pretty luscious haha. -All skewers I got were delicious. Loved the chicken satay and there's a juicy pork and chicken skewers spot on the right corner when facing the market. All the skewers were $3 per. The chicken satay spot you can get a whole set w/ salad & rice for $15-17. -The mango sticky rice with ube rice was good. Not recommended (so sorry): -Pandan hotcakes from Aileen's homemade -- too dry, I was hoping for lovely, goopy pandan goodness like I've had elsewhere, but it was just... dry. -The beautiful little coconut and mung bean, flower-shaped dessert shop. So gorgeous, but flavor was either stale or just lackluster. -My friend's boba was not good. Overall, a cute spot. Maybe Uber there. Enjoy the live music. There are a good number of tables all around. There's even a fun pirate themed bar. It's a fun spot to gather with friends if you can just avoid the hollyweird madness that surrounds it.

Yelp
We showed up a little after 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening so there was still parking on-site and open seats to sit down and eat. The market had two rows of stalls with Thai skewers, some traditional Thai noodle dishes and papaya salad, and a few stalls of fusion foods. There were a couple drink and dessert options as well. We ordered pork and chicken skewers with sticky rice and a grass jelly drink. They were nice snacks before our dinner elsewhere. Prices were surprisingly very reasonable and easy to pay with Venmo or Zelle, and service was friendly. For restrooms, there are portal potties in the on site parking lot. Now for the real downer - parking. While we easily got a spot, we were told to leave by a certain time (for us it was 6:34 pm) to have the parking fee waived. It was 6:34 pm on the dot when we handed our parking ticket over to leave. The parking attendant then charged us over $20 since we were "over time." Unfortunately this was a very poor ending to our experience and made me hesitant to come back in the future.

Yelp
So much fun!!! I somehow stumbled on this on Instagram and had to make my way there. Imagine a nice little lot in Hollywood with Thai food booths galore, with a parking lot attached. All the vendors take Venmo and Zelle so do not feel stressed about going to grab cash before you go to the market. I had Khao Soi, delicious pork skewers, fried bananas and ended the night with a thai tea. Parking is 1 hour free and then 20.00 after until 3 AM so take advantage and hang out for a while. Lines are very short and the vendors are all so nice! I have to come back for the Thai tacos and more skewers! Delicious and fun! Go check it out!!!

Yelp
Food was great and full of flavors. Service was great except one booth. Order beef sticks and got my ticket at number 83 and after calling up until 91 then finally got my order. After asking the cashier about my order 3x. Over all nice place and great food.

Yelp
Lots of good choices, we walked around a bit and got our food to go. The food was good, parking is challenging! Doubt I would return, sort of a one time deal kind of place to see. I had the fried chicken which wasn't very good, bad choice, the mango rice was good but that's hard to mess up and we had another noodle dish which I can't remember. I would say worth seeing once but wouldn't go out of my way or drive far to come!

Yelp
The night market has great vibes and lots of selections making it a great choice to hang out with a group of friends. Are you going to overpay for a lot of the stuff yes, but the prices are fair and there are good deals to find. Live music and crowds were great. Parking can be a bit of a struggle, but that is expected in Hollywood. The service was friendly and food quality was on point. Definitely worth checking it out.

Yelp
The Thai night market offers a variety of options, but the food isn't cheap, averaging $15 and up. Despite the higher prices, there are numerous selections to explore. Some vendors disappoint with greasy, cold fried appetizers and gas-smelling grilled bread. However, the standout is the SATE SKEWER (pork & beef) priced at $15-$17 per set, marinated to perfection with a delightful aroma of spices and served with peanut sauces--a definite wow! The Papaya Salad vendor, Ubon-Noodle, and Thai Banh Coung are also great. Parking is free within a specific lot for up to one hour. Consider going on a Sunday for fewer people.

Yelp
This place is like a mini version of Wat Thai Temple. The chicken skewers were the best imo. I was not a fan of the pink mango drink because it was too sweet and tasted mostly like mango syrup and not actual mangoes. There was also a band playing so that was nice. There is metered street parking available but it can be difficult to find sometimes. I suggest not parking at the CVS parking lot nearby because my car got towed there unfortunately. Just do street parking or pay the $20 parking lot nearby too.

Yelp
Variety of Thai food stalls. Great to have a group of friends come together and order different items and try each others choices. Food come out pretty quick and all vendors take Zelle or Venmo so no need to bring cash. Favorite foods were the yellow curry noodle soup, fried chicken (bone in), pandan pancakes, mango sticky rice and spicy Thai crispy pork Cons: parking sucks. DO NOT park at CVS they tow cars. CVS must have someone watching the parking lot because my friend got towed and there was a tow truck earlier there too. Worth it to pay for the parking lot onsite.

Yelp
The Food is fantastic with lot to choose from and parking. Everyone is super friendly. Tables to eat at to watch the shows... Good vibes, Feels safe and is definitely fun.

Yelp
The Jay Jay chicken skewers and sticky rice were great and well worth it Papaya salad place was fantastic The ice tea place is amazing too I got the passion fruit ice tea. (not to be confused with the jack sparrow juice place). The Jack Sparrow Juice/Tea was HORRIBLE. The guy is charging $8 for Kern Juice from concentrate.... when I called him out on it he said "I have never gotten any complaints". Just know he is literally pouring concentrate juice from a box and selling it to you for $7. It costs $2 for a whole bottle at the store....

Yelp
Parking horrible. Food ok at best. Seatings? Good luck lol. There was like only small selection of stalls to choose form. I had a great time regardless

Yelp
Fun experience. It was a cold night out, but they have heat lamps around the seating areas. I would say there were about 30-40 street vendors. Most we tried had pretty good food. They take cash, Venmo and/or Zelle. There's parking right next to it. We got lucky with street parking. The only thing I will say is it'd be nice to have at least a couple of portal potties.

Yelp
Food was ok we tried omelette on rice and pad Thai. But dishes were mediocre we have had better Thai at so many places like V Station, Hope & Patakan. Parking is $5 for an hour. The food is not expensive $10 -$14 per dish
