"If one more person refers to you as funemployed, you’re going to force them to submit your tax return next year and see who’s having fun then. But, on the plus side, being freelance means you can make brunch and coffee spot, Attendant Coffee Roasters in Shoreditch, your work zone for the day. Expect lots of foliage, coffee art, whitewashed walls, and reliable wifi." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna
"In the immortal words of soup enthusiast and Very Wise Person—our nan—there isn’t anything you can’t put in a soup. For full disclosure, she usually says this while holding a hand blender like a lightsaber. The Attendant in Shoreditch does a daily, changing soup and you’ll find all kinds of different ingredients and options, ranging from your classics to vegetable-heavy numbers. Grab one of their sourdough sandwiches while you’re here too. Hello excellent dipping potential. " - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"It’s hard to know a good hip coffee shop from a bad hip coffee shop because, well, in Shoreditch there are three every 20 steps. That’s what we’re for though, and Attendant Coffee Roasters is definitely a good coffee shop. This is a great place to grab a straightforward holy trinity lunch: sandwich, salad, or soup. That’s not to play it down though, it's very good at simple things: whether that be a homemade quiche or tomato soup. This is one that, before you even know it, will become a regular go-to from your first visit." - Jake Missing
