Au Bon Accueil

"This restaurant with a bright, contemporary interior is true to its name when it promises a warm welcome. Chef Gaëtan Crespin works with good seasonal produce, most of it sourced locally, to craft creative and technically on-point cuisine. A shining example comes in the form of his scallops, endive and clementine, or rack of pork, parsley and spelt… And with excellent value for money guaranteed, what's not to love?" - Michelin Inspector

You could not ask for a better value than the menu de saison at Au Bon Accueil. The staff (ask for Pascal) is engaged, the service is prompt, and the entire affair from beginning to end is enjoyable. There is a good reason for this restaurant being recommended by Michelin. I have been four or five times in the past year, and will go four or five times in the coming year.

We drove for 30 minutes on a Sunday to find a restaurant. Most of the restaurants were fully booked. So we drove by Au Bon Accueil, and tried our luck and we got a table. This restaurant is going on my favorite list! The foie gras was so delicious, I would travel hours to try it again. The rest of the meal was amazing too! Service was impeccable. 🫶🏽

Super hard to rate this Restaurant on google , apparently a Michelin ⭐ trained chef, therefore no chef has Five stars, so this made the expiriance hard to review. This said in the Square of St Micheal, it is an absolute part of what makes this little town so awesome. You have a vibrant square of absolute perfection. Its a dinner experience where you are made to feel special and endure a taste bud excitement. You can stick to a tight budget or you can go all out. If you want a romantic self indulged evening ...This is the place to go.

Fantastic food. Meat and especially fish cooked to perfection 👌 Very nice flavour-combinations and professional service. Definitely worth a visit! (Strawberries on top of dessert are cooked and haven't gone bad)

A truly superb meal. The courses were beautifully balanced and for once I left feeling satisfied and not over-fed. The dining room is spacious and you don't feel cramped. Service is attentive but not stifling. There is a good choice of reasonably-priced wines and those available by the glass are of good quality if the other diner is driving and prefers not to share a bottle.||Staff appear to enjoy their job and are very welcoming and professional.||Only possible criticism is the painfully small toilet - meant for children or very thin adults.||We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

We had a truly scrumptious meal, having sat outside with an apperitif each. The weather was superb and the dining room was beautifully cool. Whilst the food was wonderful, the ambience was somewhat lacking, in that we were one of only two couples, on a Friday night! This had been recommended by friends and was truly well worthwhile our visit as the food was wonderful and just a few tweaks to the dining room and possibly some background music, would make all the difference. Apparently, the rooms are really reasonable and comfortable but we didn't stay the night. It's a pity it's not more frequented and possibly we went on an untypical night but this place needs to advertise it's somewhat hidden charm more. Many restaurants in France advertise their wares, well before you arrive at the town where the restaurant is situated and this hotel needs some serious marketing. Meanwhile, get there before it gets too well known. We were served with some very thin, crisp and delicious homemade crisps, set in sesame. Superb. This with our pre dinner drinks. Then I had beef olives, stuffed with a super stuffing with mushrooms and olives. It was a superb fusion. My husband had fish with a subtle sauce. The puddings were lovely, too and I usually refrain from three courses but they weren't too generous so three courses was just about right. This restaurant really deserves to be put well and truly on the culinary map.
