Au Coin du Feu

Stayed one night here and it was worth every second. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was made with so much love, local product and you could tell everything was freshly baked. The accept dogs, which is a big plus for me. My dog had a great time here. I will for sure come again here. I recommend this place! 10/10!! ✨

Everything was perfect. We were very happy to return to our lovely room, (that smelt delicious!) after a full day skiing. We didn’t eat in the hotel but had tea and coffee in our room each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful and I’d definitely stay again. A lovely break away with a best friend! Thank you very much

Near the centre of Megeve this lovely little hotel appears to have had a make over inside. Fantastic rooms of all wood and modern stone bathrooms. Friendly front of house left us locked in in the off peak season and we used the bar with an honesty tab. Well stocked tasty breakfast. Ample amounts of food available. Loved my bunk room on floor 2, a double down stairs and 2 singles upstairs in a cosy comfy room. Loved my stay here

A fantastic hotel - our room on the top floor was lovely, and it was only a short walk to the Rochebrune cable car and the centre of Megeve. The service from the friendly staff was very good, we couldn’t stop eating the famous burger and chocolate desert! Lounge area was comforting with an excellent music playlist!

We truly enjoyed our time at Au Coin du Feu! The family suite was perfectly comfortable for our family with two little kids, the breakfast every morning was wonderful, the walk to town super simple, the staff was lovely, the restaurant at the bar and downstairs were all fantastic. Truly a memorable stay in Megeve made possible by Au Coin du Feu. Thank you!

Super hotel, excellent staff, friendly and very welcoming. Nice sauna and steam facilities, bookable in advance. Good access to the town and ski lifts, just a short walk away. Highly recommend the restaurant ‘Le Saint-Nicolas’, the taster menu was one Michelin star level. Overall, highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel in the heart town. Lovely staff - very helpful with recommendations and planning. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The vibe in the lobby is like the best living room you could wish for. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel and will come back! Minor improvement point: given that the minimum number of days is 5, i recommend a little bit of variety into the breakfast. Even changing 1 thing every other day would be an improvement. Merci!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is footsteps away from the centre of town but away from the busyness, making it perfect for us. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, our room was clean and with views over the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

Au Coin du Feu is a warm, inviting, comfortable place with kind hosts and incredible food right in the center of Megève. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating, the rooms, while small, are comfortable and clean. The bathroom is relatively spacious and warm. I had the relief menu at Le Saint Nicolas downstairs the night I arrived. It was a special, memorable meal. The chef creates food that is inventive and beautifully presented and technically complex and also, somehow, comforting. The wine pairings from the sommelier are also excellent. This particular menu was an homage to the region - it celebrated the local produce and people. For example, the tea that is served as a palate cleanser is made of herbs harvested low in the mountains, a task traditionally carried out by old ladies in the region who cannot reach the herbs higher in the mountain that are used for génépi. It was earthy and layered and satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised, the next night, to find that the food at the bar upstairs, while more casual, is also outstanding. The chef's burger with Gruyère is the best burger I have ever had in my life. I cannot recommend au coin du feu enough. If you are thinking about staying there, do it. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels in Megève, and this one is my favorite. While the hotel does not have a jacuzzi or a pool, the service, food, and general environment (calm, cozy, and warm) is better than the larger, more expensive hotels.

This was the most amazing hotel! The attention to detail and their willingness to make your stay perfect is unmatched. The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed getting to the staff. Thomas and Constance were amazing at their jobs! I couldn't recommend this hotel more ! It was quaint and perfectly matched for Megeve, the little snow globe town !

This hotel definitely deserves a 4th star, we loved everything about it. All the staff are fabulous, friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room on the 3rd floor with a balcony and sofa. The bar area is really welcoming and cosy and our dog was treated like a king! We had an amazing dining experience one night in the restaurant, again with delightful staff. We will not consider staying anywhere else when we are next in Megeve. Thank you to all, in particular Marine, Jason,and the very smiley night manager!
