The Best Îles-de-la-Madeleine Restaurants | Eater Montreal

"Adored by Madelinot for staying open year-round, this casse-croûte does hot dog steamés, lobster pitas, subs, smoked meat sandwiches, golden-brown fish & chips, and some seriously loaded poutines. The vibe inside is cool, too, with throwback 50s and 60s diner music." - Joel Balsam

Greasy & overcooked. A generous portion of limp greasy slightly burnt fries & tasteless overcooked fish doesn't really help. Not cheap either. I wish id checked the reviews & spent my money on something more interesting. Staff were nice though.

Great service, delicious food, nice vibe. Loved the lobster roll and fish&chips.

Had the smoked meat platter and poutine fries and cole slaw. They make it quick and the portions are large. The fries were extra extra fried which I'm not a huge fan of, but just a warning, lol. But yeah, if you want like a fried, greasy, and delicious meal on the island, consider this place.

Excellent food!!! The prices are just as good. Its a small shack, nothing fancy, but we've eaten here 4 times in the past week. The fish & chips are home made, the Sanglier poutine with 3 pepper sauce is awesome, next time were going to try the lobster poutine in a creme bechamel sauce. Compared to other restaurants we've been that in the past week, overpriced and/or ordinairy food, this place wins 👍

Cute place and well located but overpriced compared with other 6 local businesses that offers somewhat the same menu. If you want better taste for the money I would recommend La poissonnerie. If you want the same taste with a more realistic price ratio I would recommend Cap doulphin Fish Shack. Over-all I felt that this place was a bit of a Tourist Trap.

Traditional family fast food place that was recommended by locals. Pricing on lobster rolls are somewhat overrated across the island and here their lobster pita was tasty. Kids loved the burgers and fries.

Very good food. I had beef and onion poutine. Highlight meal of the trip!

Tried the ́lobster roll which was worth the experience. Staff was very friendly. Not something I could afford to eat often.
