As you drive through the winding roads you come up to this cozy restaurant. The food is excellent and the owners are personally attending the guests. The cheeses are phenomenal, and the beef tender and harmoniously spiced.

Thank you for this great experience 🙏 Lovely place, which is absolutely out dreams, when we think for Auberge . And not only - after 15 years crossing to the french gastronomy, honestly this is one of our favorite place at all. Nice Bourgogne dishes, but home made signed, very reasonable prices . Short but nice wine list. Perfect service from the owners (I think). The exact place, which you must to deviate from the path - full Michelin Star idea. Thank a lot, dear Auberge des Chenêts, we will come back again soon :)

Its fab! A lovely couple been here for 25years. We visited lunchtime 20/7/22 36€ with cheese or 32€ without. A la carte 56€ £52€ Its on a main road to Avallon but the outside is so pretty you don't notice the road. Not much parking so be careful.

***HIGHLY recommended *** the service was at its best and the food was delicious and the quality was great. We were heading back to home from CDG and had a pit stop at this place. Truly loved it we had bœuf bourguignon and they have amazing wines.

It was a blast! We had such a fine dining and nice experience in the little roadside burgundy-style auberge. The Michelin “bip” for their 37€/4 courses menu is totally worth it. Services and the chef are extremely kind, which is a plus! Should go there without any doubt
