After moving into the neighborhood and seeing the buzz surrounding this place, it was something i had to check out. The staff has been great, polite, attentive and very nice. You wont be blown away by the drink selection or the menu, but what they've got does the job just fine. On weekend afternoons there are always people hanging around outside, playing volleyball and bags after softball games at nearby Wrightwood park. Overall, friendly people, laid back atmosphere and decent prices, make it a great place to go.

Usually a favorite spot of mine in the neighborhood, but today was different. The bartender was one of the most rude people I have ever met. He was snappy, had an attitude, and very off putting. Will not come again after today’s experience. Very disappointing for the fact that Javier has been nothing but nice to us every time we are here and it’s the closest bar in distance to us. Will not waste our time anymore at this bar.

Who is the incredible owner of this place? We will be visiting you shortly and becoming regulars. We didn't even need to go in to understand the kind of people that go to this bar. My wife had a minor car issue infront of the bar and the owner came out and helped her out. What a wonderful person. Thank you! You made a regular customer out of us. We'll be visiting soon!

Good food, cold drinks, great beer and liquor selection. I go here every Sunday after softball and always have a good time. Decor is a little outdated, but it's a dive bar. Food wise, I highly recommend their Chipotle Chicken Wrap on spinach tortilla, and their Cajun tots. Service wise, Becky is the best bartender they have. Make good friends with her!

Such a fun place to go. Augie's always has outstanding decorations... its a great environment. Looking forward to getting in while the Christmas lights are up. Ive never seen anything like it! They also have awesome beef jerkey, which is to my liking.

Lovely friendly neighborhood joint! The food!! Yum!! The wings! Their golden fries! BLT was delicious! The wraps and burgers! Even their pizza is good! Great drink selection! Plenty of TV'S to watch your favorite game. They even have TV's in the floor! Sand volleyball court in the back. Give them a try!

Just moved into the area and was looking for a new watering hole. Worst bar we have ever been too and we like dive bars. It smelled like a porta potty, like it was absolutely horrible. They had a horrible beer selection and when we finally chose one, they were out of it (idk why ppl are saying they had a good beer selection.. no local breweries on tap). I asked for a Miller light off that same draft list bc there was nothing else, and he gave me a bottle... The crowd was 50 years and older. There was a $15 minimum for cc. ( which sucked be we didn’t wanna stay past one drink ) it was pretty pricy for 2 beers. Did i mention it smelled bad? The 12’ TVs on the floors weren’t even working lol. The overall ambiance was gross. On a positive note! The Christmas decorations were cool. We will be looking for a new dive elsewhere.
