I was pleased to see a casually sophisticated restaurant replace the laundromat that stood in it's place before. From the charmingly tiny (still legible) menus that change with the seasons, to the extensive and unique beer selection, Augustine's has earned my business and respect. Below, I have attached a picture of their take on a rather popular option in the Twin Cities, Poutine. It might be one of the best interpretations I've enjoyed of the dish. My only complaint is that it was so fresh and hot out of the kitchen, I could not safely eat it any faster. The pulled chicken sandwich was savory, and the dill aioli on the side truly blended the flavors together nicely. The tomato soup was not at all lacking, despite the singular crouton. Mexican hot chocolate was the perfect dessert for the occasion. Rich, mysteriously spicy, and surely tasty.
