While I was there, I ate good and had a great time. The people was nice. The two best things I liked about this establishment was the automatic sink in the ladies room, and something else. Hopefully I think of it by the time I finish th I s review. The inside was nice and elegant . Reminded me of an upscale Titanic (the staircase specifically speaking on). It gave that classy yet get a beer and relax vibe. I would suggest putting a long wide mirror on the wall inside the ladies room if possible, the wall is bland just a soild bummpy red wine/burgundy color. A mirror will give a wow welcoming ambiance. I also suggest bringing out the complimentary bread and butter with the drink order if not very soon after (within a minute of dropping drinks on the table). I received mine bread and butter while eating my appetizers. The 2nd best thing I liked was the calamari. It was better than the marinara sauce I vomited 😁The complementary bread is where the 4stars in service comes from. No good Tone!! I did vomit my food up on myself in the Lyft car as soon as I pulled up at my hotel which was approx 15 mins. The Lyft driver drove that Kia like a Thuder Rollercoaster 3000 ride at the SC State Fair🤢🤢🤢 Thats the main reason I feel as if I vomited that good ahh marinara sauce up🤣🤣🤣🤣 No, I didn't report the driver (Scared of a 200 dollar Lyft charge and a band forever clause on my name.) I did give the Lyft driver 40.00 tip because of the inconvenience and the politeness he still displayed. I have uploaded pictures of my experience.

I wanted to reach out to thank you for a fantastic dinner for me and Diane. Your restaurant made our 41st anniversary very special. I want to give a shout out to your staff, especially the chef and Eric. The presentation was top shelf and the dishes were excellent. Eric helped us decide what we should have for our appetizer, artichoke dip, and my braised pork shank would also be good with the mashed potatoes and the chicken parmigiana would be a good choice for Diane. The shrimp gumbo is pretty good and the omelets are freshly made. Overall everything I tried was great! Amd do make a reservation it's a must!

Fatin is the most amazing staff member there! She’s goes above and beyond to make the experience one to cherish. We went there last year and she actually remembered us, what we ordered and where we sat. They are lucky to have such a pleasant employee that stuck around so long-hope she is paid well. People like her are hard to come by-it helps make people want to return. The food is divine, dessert delish. Prices reasonable .

Just had a wonderful Christmas Buffet last night and Augustino's totally delivered. Between the beautiful seafood and salads and of course soups then to the Christmas sides and carving station I would go back every time. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Doug the manager made sure everyone and everything was on point and he delivered 100%. As an added benefit many buffet's I have gone to that were comparable to this one I woke up with a dry mouth due to oversalting the foods....NOT HERE!! The food was seasoned perfectly everything we ate and even the horseradish for the prime rib was creamed so you could taste the horseradish but still enjoy your wine....GREAT JOB!!!! WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE and Doug we will bring another bottle from our cellar.

This was the first time my boyfriend and I have come here. I took him for his birthday and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! The staff was so attentive, we got seated early, they read the reservation note and wished my man happy birthday before I even said anything. And the food is top notch! We got the artichoke dip appetizer, shrimp scampi, farfalle cardinale pasta, the turtle cheesecake and tiramisu. Everything was delicious!!!! We left stuffed and with plenty of to-go boxes. All that with two glasses of wine, an old fashioned and margarita was still a little under $150. Worth every penny! We will 100% be back!

My wife and I decided to try this place out on date night. I could not have been more pleased. The steak and potatoes were phenomenal. I ordered medium rare and it came out perfect. My wife’s shrimp and grits were fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

Thanksgiving dinner at the Augusta Marriott was beyond fabulous. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Every dish felt intentional and well executed. The private room created a warm, relaxed space for our family to enjoy each other without distraction. Service mattered here. Our waiter was a true professional. Attentive, polished, and present without hovering. He set the tone for the entire experience. This was a Thanksgiving done right, memorable, seamless, and worth repeating.

Our server was excellent. The first time ever that anyone asked us how we wanted our salmon prepared. Ryan is his name and service is his game. The restaurant is friendly, welcoming, and very nice. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing.

The presentation was great, as well as the ambiance. However, the dishes lacked actual flavor and were overall pretty bland.Not sure if i would return but the experience was nice.

First off the location is top tier. Its in walking distance of the riverwalk. I like that this place was not overly crowded. The ambience was perfect for date night. I ordered a pasta dish and my date had chicken. Both were ok nothing to write home about. Service was A1 from start to finish. Price point I would say was average.

Overall not bad. Great customer service and even better drinks. Best of all only had to walk downstairs!

Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel- overall was a great experience! Everyone was super friendly and sweet, and the food was overall good! I ordered the steak and eggs, and my steak was very well cooked, albeit a little under seasoned in my opinions. Still a great meal and would come back!

Great for all occasions. The food was fantastic! The calamari is a must appetizer. lightly breaded with good flavors and it came with red pepper relish. Delish! I could have just eaten that. The service was superb. We was there for a birthday dinner and everyone was accommodating. We received complimentary wine and our waitress gave us the 5 star treatment.

Reserved a table for 10 on a Saturday evening for a teenager birthday dinner. The process was pretty easy. I tried to use OpenTable but the max reservation online was 8. Called the restaurant, made reservation for 10. Had to provide a credit card number in case of no shows or a party number significantly different than the reservation. Hostess made it clear that communication is the way to go to avoid unnecessary charges to your credit card. Once the majority of our party arrived we were seated immediately. Nice table location and set up. Everything was prepared and ready for us when we arrived. The wait staff was attentive, efficient and welcoming. The food was ... good. Not amazing like it was when I visited one day for lunch. But all in all a very nice experience. I would return.

Fatin was our waitress and she was very nice and helpful. The calamari was the best thing and overall enjoyed the experience.

Came here with mom and dad for Christmas dinner. They were having a buffet for Christmas dinner. The buffet had a variety of food as well as desert. The price for the Christmas buffet was $35 a person. The food was good. There was a salad bar, ham, turkey, prime rib, Mac n cheese, pasta, roasted broccoli, soup, and a few other items. The service was also good. If you looking for a place for Christmas dinner, keep this place in mind.

The food, ambiance, & service was awesome! Traveling for work and sat at the bar. Kevin the bartender was awesome, had quite a bit of guests and treated everyone like they were his only guest. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're staying at the Marriott.

Great atmosphere-no kids running around in dinner area-bar area has tables and booths more family friendly somewhat separate. Food exceptional as for entrees and appetizers we chose. Pizza good-calamari delish airy and crispy, margarita Devine but small. Prices moderate -pleasant crew. French onion soup no cheese not good-peach pound cake ( canned peaches store bought cake). Pecan pie great, bread gentle--skip dessert and head across the street at Boll Weevil for cheesecake.

A few more choice vegetables. Today Your meat is fried chicken Breast and Thighs Two really good salads One Lettuce with tomatoes and a Pasta salad Rice, black eye peas, potatoes augratin Eggs, shrimp, grits, nice breads and pastry Plenty Plenty of deserts. We were seated right away and warmly welcomed by our.attendant. She was patient and friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed. We were a group of 10 padies having a early lunch/brunch. The food was wonderful. I had the salad and it was incredible. The portions were large and satisfying. We will return for future meetups.

Located inside Marriott, first night upon arrival i got a table inside the restaurant, staff is so nice! I got a glass of Malbec (ok) and ordered the lasagna, it was really good, portion is huge! Tonight I got a seat by the bar, got a Smokey old fashion (good) and the chicken parmigiana (delicious), came with a side of spaghetti. Bread was also good! The staff here both time has been fabulous.

Howdy, Augustinos and visitors! My girlfriend and I loved our dining experience here--food, service, atmosphere, the works! A lovely way to end our holiday in the sleepy town of Augusta. My girlfriend, who is not a whiskey person, loved the Georgia Old Fashioned they made her, and the cider I had was great!

Overall: 4.8 Service: 5 Food: 5 Value: 4.5 Atmosphere: 5 Come back again? YES! I love Augustino's! We went there for my mom's birthday. Our waitress was very professional in her service, and food came in a good pace. We enjoyed all the dishes; each one of them was high-quality and delicious. I really recommend the calamari, seafood risotto, and scallops. They were amazing! The food are on the pricy side, but taste wise they are worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great also; it's perfect for family celebrations, date nights, and formal dinners. I would definitely come back again!

My wife and I went for Mothers Day Brunch. We had great food and the desserts were amazing. We must have looked ridiculous walking but to the table with what we wanted to try. This will be our new go to when we are at our house in Georgia when we want a nice dinner out. We have been here once before and thoroughly enjoyed both times.

The food and service was amazing!!! We loved our waitress. I will definitely be back. They welcomed us in right before closing. The only thing was that the pork chop was overcooked, but they offered a free meal or dessert to compensate for it.

Nice spot inside of the Marriott Hotel. The bartender Kevin was amazing. He definitely took care of me at the bar. The food at the restaurant was just ok. I was trying to eat clean so I ordered Salmon and a side salad. It tasted just ok. I might come back and order something else to eat but I would definitely come back for the chill vibe.

I give it a 4/5 due to my service being a little slow. other than that everything was amazing! I had the spinach mushroom ravioli with chicken and my boyfriend had the lasagna. Food was excellent!!!

Been to Augustine's a couple of times and love the food. Service is great, a great family restaurant with great take out. Every time we've been there it's been busy! Got my go to for pizza and Italian food! Great pricing also!

Won't answer their phone at 11am for us to get information. We decided to go else where because of we can't get anyone to answer the phone makes me wonder what the service will be like. Might be short staffed.... probably dodged a bullet.

Stayed at the Marriott for a convention. Had lunch in the hotel restaurant. The food was ok. My issue is the restaurant charge a 20 bill and gave a 40 dollar tip. When I complained no call back.

I was staying at the hotel and can not say enough about this restaurant. Incredible food, incredible service and prices are not out of control! Wish I could have stayed longer so I could have eaten another few meals! I had Chicken Parm too and it was so yummy! Thank you for making my trip one to remember!

We had date night here and we enjoyed every moment being here. The customer service is amazing, the manager approached us and thanked us for joining them. My boyfriend enjoyed his medium well steak as he said that it was seasoned to perfection. I had the spinach and mushroom ravioli and it needed a little more seasoning but all in all it was good! And the cocktails were delicious... 10/10 highly recommend the pineapple margarita!

Unexpectedly huge portions and delicious. Enjoyed dinner so much we had breakfast the next morning and was equally impressed. Hotel restaurants are sometimes a gamble- however this place delivers.

Awful service. Lack of attentiveness for small parties. Don't go if you are a small party as it doesn't generate tips for them. Food is mediocre. Everyone congregates at the bar and doesn't care about the tables. Great job doing business.

Food is average, at best. Service was good, and the staff was very polite, but if you are looking for a good meal, unfortunately, this isn't it.

We got the buffet and it was ok. Three people in our group had to wait an hour for their food and we were done. They ran out of the dessert we wanted. The ambiance was nice. The main problem we had was they charged us two times. $113. and a second charge of $41. we didn't make. Never returned our calls and we went there 2 times before they reimbursed us. It took days. We were charged for someone else's meal. What I was upset about is they acted like we were trying to rip them off. The waitress later said she knew about it while we were there. Said they would have to talk to their accountant. It was crazy.

Ate here with my wife for dinner around 7pm. We had the ribeye steak and garlic mashed potatoes and added a house salad. Steak was cooked exactly the way we ordered. The garlic Potatoes had gotten cooled off as potatoes do. Staff was polite and professional and adequate for amount of business. Restaurant was clean and ambiance was very nice. Price was appropriate for what we ordered. Would like to return again.

The service was friendly and attentive. The whole place did not have cappuccino or latte since their Starbucks store was closed, but the manager tried really hard to find some. Good southern hospitality! The food was highly disappointing. We came for the Thanksgiving brunch. The seafood they served us still needed to be thawed. I'm talking about ice in the crab claws and shrimp. The mash potatoes were dry (not sure how that happens). The prime rib was way undercooked, even for a crowd that likes medium rare. The Mac and cheese was solid and they had a good assortment of desserts. Extra star for the service and that it's Thanksgiving.

After receiving my bill... my first thought was, "how do you spend $52 and walk away hungry". I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp ($18), Baked Oysters ($17) (two drinks made up the total bill)..... Three bacon wrapped shrimp ($18) they were cooked dark on the outside but completely raw on the inside. The inside of the bacon was raw and the shrimp was raw!! Half dozen baked oysters ($17).. the oyster itself was cold but the toppings were lukewarm.. it wasn't really "baked" more of "slightly heated" cause the heat didn't reach the oyster itself! The best part of the meal was the free bread!! It came hot and full of flavor. The margarita was fantastic also! After informing the waitress of my RAW food, she asked if I wanted anything else... UMMMMM NO!! You should have checked and served quality COOKED food. I'm not gonna wait again for more food... it's simple.. do it right the first time!!!

A wonderful restaurant located in Augusta, Ga at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center on the riverwalk. It is a mid to high end restaurant and bar. They serve Italian, American, and Steak. They offer a full bar. Bar draws a pretty good crowd from the hotel, convention center, and local. Lively bartenders happy to greet and service their specialities and local favorites. The food is fantastic. One of my favorites is the artisian rustic pizzas. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Augusta. Bon Appetit.

The bar/restaurant located in the lobby of the Marriott hotel. It's casual but a little upscale at the sametime if that makes sense. I ended up sitting at the bar for dinner. You just have to tell the bartender you want to eat as well. Staff was nice enough. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. I had the Lasagna and the Loaded Fries as an appetizer. Probably meant to be shared as the portions were pretty big. The Lasagna was very good and not served as a square piece. Plenty of cheese and sauce and it was very flavorful. Conviennent place to eat if you are staying at the hotel.

We are staying at this hotel and this Place came highly recommended. I understand that's it's COVID time, but, no social distancing in the bar and people standing around waiting for a beer. The food is far from a 5. The pizza is basic, the salad has lots of wilted brown lettuce, the steak is overpriced and the cheese curds are the best thing they have going for them. The service was subpar and the waitress kept forgetting everything and would not break up the checks. **Do not drink the water**

In the spirit of complete honesty, I did visit Augustino's for the purpose of writing an article for newaugustan.com. But my opinions are completely and honestly my own. I still have not experienced the lunch time pasta bar, but I can tell you that dinner at Augustino's is the absolute perfect date night spot here in Augusta. We had a wonderful waiter with years of experience in wine who recommended a delicious chianti (II Brunone - Tuscany Italy) to go along with our charcuterie and pasta dishes. I was excited to learn that Augustino's actually cures their own meats, and has hopes to add beehives to the rooftop of the Marriott hotel (the home of Augustino's) in the near future. The charcuterie board was absolutely delicious. I could have just eaten the charred baked bread, fresh mozzerella in pesto sauce, and the delicious cured meats and called it a night. But then the entrees arrived and the deliciousness continued. We ordered the Roasted Garlic & Smoked Mozzarella Ravioli in pink vodka sauce and the Braised Beef Short Rib served with pappardelle pasta with wild mushroom glaze. Both dishes were wonderful, though my favorite was the short rib with pappardelle. For dessert we sampled an assortment, which included a Georgia peach pound cake topped with Georgia peach ice cream. This restaurant serves weekend brunch. The menu is diverse and there's something for everyone. We enjoyed Waffles, salmon croquettes, steak & eggs, and frittatas.... Nothing extraordinary, but definitely a good place to join friends or family for a decent meal. Service was excellent.

We came to Augustino's to partake in a hassle-free Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant is located inside the Sheraton Hotel. When you first enter the lobby make a right and the restaurant is in the back. It's a large space but the tables and booths are spread out so diners are not on top of each other. We made reservations for 4pm and when we got there the restaurant was lively but not swamped. They had a dinner buffet for $45/person including a carving station, turkey, several traditional and Italian-inspired Thanksgiving sides (like a cheesy eggplant Parmesan dish), a meat and cheese spread, and several desserts. Our server was very pleasant and attentive as were the rest of the staff we interacted with. The food was quite good. In particular the sweet potato casserole was amazing as were the fresh rolls. I also really enjoyed the meat and cheese spread. The stuffing was really good too. Overall I'd recommend them for Thanksgiving dinner.

We were staying at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. My husband had been to their restaurant, Augustino's, before and recommended we eat there. He chose well. The food did not disappoint. We started with the Prince Edward Island mussels. I had never in my life tried a mussel but feeling adventurous, I tried them and they were delicious! I'm not sure what type of bread they brought us (seemed like focaccia) but it was warm, soft and fantastic! I had the lasagna and I will put it in my top five favorite lasagnas. The portions were huge! My husband had the shrimp and Italian grits (he says that's his go-to meal and it never disappoints and this visit was no exception.) I loved the ambiance but failed to take pictures. I'm holding back on a 5 star review due to our service. It felt like our waitress didn't really want to be at work. My husband and I both asked for water and she brought one glass; it took my husband about another 10 minutes to get his. We were never asked if we wanted another beverage. (I had wine; my husband an Old Fashioned). She delivered our meals and never returned until she brought us the check (without asking if we wanted anything else, like dessert would have been nice). I did note toward the end of our meal that she had been given a large party but still---we matter, too. This all being said, it was an overall good experience that warrants a 4 star review in my humble opinion. Check them out but I recommend a reservation.

What a wonderful all around Italian dining experience! This was a most pleasant surprise. We dropped in after walking by the river because we wanted to grab a bite to eat away from the heat. The minute we walked in the door we were overtaken by the comfortable atmosphere, beautiful ambiance, and the delicious smells. It was good fortune that had us there during lunch so that we could enjoy the wonderful Pasta Bar. Sam, the talented Sous Chef, mans a battery of sauté pans with a progression of flaming eyes so he can produce individual made to order pasta dishes for his customers. It is imaginative and wonderful. I had him add garlic, pesto, tomatoes, spinach, black olives, pepperoni, sausage, and chicken to my pan, and he proceeded to start the sauté process. As each customer comes up they get to have him add other ingredients to their pans based on their personal preferences. Once the mixture is ready you get to choose one of 3 pastas to add to the pan. Today I chose bow ties instead of the ziti or the spaghetti. These choices can differ from day to day. Then you choose between a tomato meat sauce, marinara, or Alfredo; with or without meatballs. Once he finishes cooking you personal masterpiece, he plates it and you get to add you own fresh Parmesan and/or crushed red pepper. As part of the lunch deal you also get soup and salad. Today was delicious chicken noodle and the salad dressings are handmade. Topped off with a basket of good sourdough style crusty bread, this was one of the best lunch dining experiences I've ever had. If you are in Augusta you owe it to yourself to try Augustino's. I guarantee we will be back!

I was a bit nervous coming here based on the reviews but my experience was different. This place is great. From the moment we walked up to the door Alberto was awesome. His hospitality was top notch. The food was amazing every single bite. I am excited to return to try out their brunch menu. It was very clean and social distancing and masks are seen clearly. Great environment makes you feel relaxed.

Please save yourself & spend your money elsewhere! I went recently & it wasn't busy yet the food tasted rushed & was cold. I'm assuming their catering to people that like tasteless food. If you like any flavor in your food, do yourself a favor & research a better Italian restaurant. Our waitress was nice though.

Although some items are a hit or miss (Chicken parmesan dinner last few times was tough and bland and just bad enough to throw away). The staff is always great and the food overall is very good. I love their meatball side dish and other plates. I just will not get their chicken Parmesan plate anymore.
