"Aurora Donuts used to be one of the last remaining Washington Dunkin’ locations, as evidenced by the fuschia countertops and classic bubble font signage. Now, they serve non-commercial donuts worthy of a morning dozen—even though they all still look like Dunkin’ understudies. Among the classics like chocolate bavarian creme, princess-pink strawberry frosted, and cakey buttermilk rings is a standout bacon maple bar. It’s pleasantly light, and the cured pork has polka dots of black pepper that add spice to the sticky-sweet icing." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley, gabe guarente

"This combination doughnut/ice cream shop has seen better days, and doesn’t look like much as you whizz by on Aurora. But don’t worry, the doughnuts lining the trays are reliable as they come — classic glazed and cake treats, wonderfully soft with just the right amount of resistance as you bite into them. There’s even an after 5 p.m. special offering six doughnuts for $7, or as we call it the Only God Can Judge Me Special." - Mark Van Streefkerk, Harry Cheadle

Best find. Tonight I had fresh donuts and amazing scoops of ice cream. Lovely auntie working at the counter made me feel like family. I will keep going back and supporting Aurora Donuts & Ice Cream. Lots of people coming in and out. Line may get long but worth the wait. Honey dipped donut was my favorite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place might look a little run down, but I have found many fantastic food places that look quite unassuming, so don't let the exterior put you off. The donuts are fantastic, and I loved their rocky road ice cream (not too sweet and heavy, and it has a ton of actual marshmallows in it, which is what I love about that flavor). Their donuts are fantastically light and tasted great. The lady who helped me was also very kind, and there is plenty of parking.

This place has incredibly friendly and kind staff. We enjoyed both the tasty donuts and the delicious ice cream. We will be back whenever a late-night donut craving strikes!

My daughter and I come here all the time. It's our go-to donut and ice cream place. The ice cream flavors are unique and you cannot find them anywhere else in Seattle. There are flavors ranging from kid favorites like cotton candy, bubblegum, booty pop rocks, birthday cake to the more adult flavors which I do not know because I like cotton candy! They have a big selection of ice cream flavors and less expensive than compared to other places. The older woman who works there is so kind, always has a smile on her face, and really brightens up your day. She is big part of the reason I go there. Once in awhile she will throw in a few donut holes for my daughter for no charge and I love how she always says "see you tomorrow!" They do charge a small fee for credit card transactions that are under a certain amount but I do not remember the specifics on that. I love how late they are open as well! 10 out of 10 recommend. There's a reason this place has been around so long!

Best donuts. Truth is, it’s hard to find a good donut these days. The chain places are sub par, grocery store offerings are not good, bakeries now don’t generally do real donuts. Aurora donuts is the best I’ve had in 50 years.

The nice lady opened the doors for us after being locked for the night, and was so sweet!! She helped us and allowed us to stay in there for a couple of extra minutes to avoid the rain. 10/10 I would go here again. Thank you!! :)

Hands down best donut place in Seattle. Excellent quality, excellent prices, and they're always so generous. I don't live nearby at all, but I recommend them to everyone in the city.

Great clean shop. Fantastic Parking. Older lady with red hair was very nice and even gave a bunch of donuts complimentary. Ice cream tasted great, serving size was plenty. However, the ice cream was a little icy but overall not bad. 1 scoop cost around $5, very reasonable for a small independent shop. Photo attached of the 1 scoop. Very large. Great deal.
