Autour de la Table

We were in Autour de la table once for a Sunday lunch not so much people The place is very cozy, nice beautiful ambiance. We were able to park the car in front of the restaurant. The service is very friendly, warm welcoming the dishes are well presented and the wines to pair with really well chosen. I remember The asparagus tasted like butter! Worth the visit!

So we were in Basel Switzerland and had the idea of walking over to Germany and then France on the Three countries bridge and dining in France. This was 15 mins by walk from the bridge. Absolutely worth it, well priced and you get more than what you order at no cost (eg a cake or tea coffee at the end and a soup at the beginning when you order just the mains). The food was oh so so so fresh, the Asparagus basically melts in your mouth. You get both vegetarian and non veg options. Mine as you can see was vegetarian. Very Michelin star feels in service and presentation of food: would recommend.

The place is really nice. The waitresses could speak french, german and english! They were kind enough to explain the menu for us. The serving was very good as well! I tried the "drink of the house" and it is a must! Great combination. It is a little pricey but worth ☺️ I can surely recommend!

Responding to a customer review using : " lol...." shows no manners towards customers. The review below was witten in September 6th 2019 when I was served in your restaurant, for whatever reason only published recently. Having seen how you responded and your attitude towards feedback, my 2 star review at the time was clearly over rated. "Service was good, however the food can be better We had pork and veal and both dishes were cooked with the same heavy/sweet sauce and vegetables which was an overkill of the product. The prices are high for quality of the food and the presence of the restaurant."

Worst burger of my life. Dry and undercooked. When I asked the arrogant personnel for mayonnaise, the answer was "no mayonnaise, Monsieur!" I really don't need this. Never again. Never ever.

Best food in the region at a reasonable price and great staff, very nice terrasse.
