"Every detail of Stéphane Lefebvre’s aptly named establishment has been endlessly fine-tuned, as the top-to-toe renovation demonstrates. Brightly welcoming, the contemporary interior mingles Scandinavian influences with discreet nods to the Seventies. The attentive table service and cosy vibe instantly make you feel at home. Chef Lefebvre has harnessed his creative talent in a bid to celebrate flavour and ingeniously balances a dish’s bitterness or acidity with a few well-judged side dishes. His attention to detail shines the spotlight on outstanding ingredients such as Piétrain pork and Ardennes game. He might pair immaculately cooked scallops with sweet parsnips, subtly smoky eel and an exquisite drizzle of watercress, without forgetting the final flourish of tartare of smoked scallops, adorned in the roe and mild chili pepper. His stellar talent and know-how have found favour with a large crowd of discerning regulars. The varied seasonal theme (seafood, game, etc.) menus and extensive à la carte offering are packed in enticing appeal and exciting gourmet discoveries." - Michelin Inspector

A star is worthy of this review only. I don’t understand why Michelin awarded them. Food was either too salty or cold. Presentation is nice at best, nothing fantastic. The service was definitely not of standing. Even asking a kerchief was too much. We were seated in a corner, where the waitress had to ask me to move. If you can’t serve then don’t put a table there! The restaurant is lodged in a bungalow. Definitely low class. Honestly, stay away, the pictures below are to show that I went to the restaurant, I will definitely recommend all of my acquaintances to stay away.

I went here to celebrate my birthday with 3 other friends. It was really good! The staff made extra efforts to explain the menu to us as we spoke English and they mainly speak french :)

Went here several times. We enjoy a Michelin restaurant a few times per year but this simply is our go to place. The food is always exceptional ! The menu is classical yet not old fashioned. Some twists make it modern but not over complicated (imho) as some restaurants can get. The service is always great. Polite and friendly without too much fuss. It just feels right every time we go there. Congratulations to this team ! See you soon

Fantastic food, literally the best I've ever had. Smaller sized portions in large quantities mean you get to taste all sorts of flavours and leave with a full stomach. Great service, excellent winechoices for the food. If possible get the autumn game menu, excellent. Vegetarian options available and deemed excellent by my brother.

The building is nicely decorated. Posh and comfy. Tables a little narrow. The big menu is not very expensive : 65€ for five courses plus four mises en bouche is a good deal. The plates are beautiful, it’s imaginative and interesting but in the mouth a real lack of salt and “gourmandise” sadly puts you in a little disappointed state after each course. If the menu is kindly priced, the simili “spritz” served in tiny champagne flutes was billed 24€ (2) which I thought was really over the top. All in all we had a nice meal but nothing was surprising nor deeply memorable. Very kind service.

Expecting Michelin quality and service, I was extremely disappointed. The seasonal menu of shellfish was a parade of defrosted shrimps and grainy and gritty sad looking lobster and langostine. One dish after another grew more and more disappointing as it became clear that the equation for each course was inedible unfrozen shellfish on a pile of very similar frosted salty, indistinguishable puddles. My only source of reshreshment for my palate was a fresh spring onion and tomato gelato somewhere in the middle of this dismal meal. By the end of this sad display I was wondering if there would be a friterie still open on the way home as most of the food went uneaten. Very unfortunate, I was looking forward to this evening a long time.

Yelp
Very strange place in some ways. The food we had here was very well cooked. The chef seems to know his job very well. We ate a la carte, and had in all courses a meal that surprised us the right way. The interior however, and the atmosphere of the complete restaurant, is not in sync with that food. THe lighting in the dinig room is not ok, the walls have almost no decoration and the noise is not demped by any decoration. The music is bad - and not in sync with the atmosphere one would expect here. Only cash payments, very strange as you will not be leaving the table for under 60 Euro per person....
