Nashville’s Best Restaurants for Passover | Eater Nashville

"Another excellent vegan plant-based option in Nashville is AVO, and though it lost its kosher certification in 2023, many options remain on the menu. Come for a gluten-free breakfast taco with potato and cauliflower on weekends until 3 p.m., or enjoy a seasonal salad, fried potatoes, or a savory soup during its opening hours." - Kellie Walton

9 Nashville Restaurants to Enjoy During Hanukkah | Eater Nashville

"While this Midtown joint dropped its Kosher certification in March, Avo still has plenty of Hanukkah-friendly options. A vegan, plant-based eatery, the menu includes small plates like fried potatoes, cashew and artichoke dip, and spicy cauliflower wings, plus desserts like cauliflower cheesecake or a chocolate avocado tart." - Kellie Walton

Nashville’s Best Restaurants for Vegetarians and Vegans | Eater Nashville

"Owner Annie Choo moved Avo to a larger, sunnier spot in Onec1ty, and that’s great news for all the thirsty folks hankering for a sip of the vegan restaurant’s widely acclaimed avocado margaritas. Abundant brunch, lunch, and dinner options pack a punch, including pistachio-walnut-pesto primavera, nachos blanketed in coconut queso and walnut chorizo, and gluten-free CBD fudge brownies." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

14 Boozy Frozen Drinks in Nashville for Spring | Eater Nashville

"The avocado margarita at the plant-based restaurant in the OneCity complex is one for the books. Don’t knock it until you try the balanced blend of avocado, reposado tequila, lime, agave, and orange juice. It’s finished with a whisper of orange dust, cilantro, and a lime salt rim." - Clara Wang

Google
Everything about this place screams five-star experience, from the warm, welcoming staff to the absolutely phenomenal food. The team here is not only friendly but incredibly personable and genuinely hospitable. And get this, it’s a vegan restaurant! But trust me, even if you’re not vegan, you’ll fall in love with the flavors. Every bite was a 10/10. Thoughtful, delicious, and beautifully prepared. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. You don’t have to be plant-based to appreciate just how good this place is!

Google
10/10 highly recommend. From the sauces to the fried mushrooms. I enjoyed having dinner here and trying their tapas menu. The services was fantastic and the cocktail was refreshing. Great place to come and have a nice dinner in or outdoors.

Google
The place is very nice, and the price is reasonable. All the staff was great and very helpful. I will say the menu is a bit sparse. I tried the mushroom tacos, and they were very earthy for lack of a better word. Everything is made fresh, but some of the ingredients are not necessarily of my taste. I will say that my toffee cheesecake was delicious! This was just my first visit, I will come back and try something else next time - hopefully I'll find something I like a little better. I am glad that they are here serving the vegans!

Google
Absolutely beautiful! I don’t know how we haven’t visited here sooner! Everything was incredible. We came to celebrate my birthday here and what an experience! Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and decor, friendly staff, and a true diamond in the rough! I already want to go back. We had the nachos as an appetizer and then the burger and penne pasta for entrees. We had to try a dessert, we tried the Pumpkin Butterscotch cheesecake. My goodness. We were speechless with all the flavors. Perfection! 10000% recommend trying this gem! Keep doing what you’re doing, Avo. Thank you for a wonderful birthday and a great first experience.

Google
Absolutely incredible experience, this is a gem of a vegan place - vegetarian, vegan friendly menu and top quality fresh food. They run brunch menu on the weekends 11 to 3. Well crafted and appetizing menu, kid friendly place that offers activities for kids to be engaged. Food is fresh, fun, and tastes fabulous - light on the tummy yet fulfilling. Great host and friendly service makes the overall experience fun and makes you return for more. On street 2 hr free parking available, could get tricky during peak time. Service depends, and it could get better. Looking for high-quality vegan food, satisfying, and enjoyable dine in experience, this is the place to be!

Google
Amazing place to get some vegetarian cuisine. I enjoyed every option I had (we all shared). I crushed the Creamy Calabrian Chili Linguine. 5/5 would recommend. Even if you are not a vegetarian.

Google
This place is so cute and a must visit when in Nashville. I had the Kimchi spring rolls and the OG Nachos. The spring rolls were huge, fresh and tasty. The nachos were good, but could have used some more walnut chorizo. Will definitely go back when in Nashville.

Ordered to-go. Received quickly and food was great! The cheesecake was a delicious treat. Hope to dine in and enjoy their happy hour or wine Wednesday soon.

Yelp
Since my last review nine (gulp) years ago, so much has changed at Avo, including the non raw additions to the menu and, most recently, the location. Like a fool, I found my way to the old location where you can still see the avocado mural on the outside of the building. I was crushed because GPS led me here so I thought it was closed but then asked around and was pointed to the new, gorgeous location just steps away. I was here for lunch and they have a really killer lunch special but I knew that I needed that cheese plate. And it's literally the best cheese plate that I've ever had! It has a nice variety of savory + salty cheeses, tahini dip, olives, jam, fruit, capers and bread. The kale Caesar is literally perfection, with thick slices of the best vegan parm in existence. It is a huge portion and the perfect follow-up to the decadent cheese plate (and it's pretty decadent on its own, I cannot lie). The new space is luxurious and large, with tons of natural light and plants and teal/royal blue accents. A serious mood enhancer during the day! And I can only imagine how sultry it is at night. Avo, you are on my list of best vegan restaurants of the US.

Yelp
Visited Jun 20, 2024. Came back for a meet up. Food, service, and atmosphere were great! Parked by the container stores and it was free this visit too! My previous review hasn't changed so I'm keeping it short. Below is my last review with revised typos: "... I parked in the parking lot where Avo's previous location was, which provided 2 hour free parking. Avo has definitely stepped up in decor since their move. They were already on my top favorites list for vegan eats with interior having that modern industrial feel though now the inside is so beautifully decorated I was pleasantly surprised. I loved everything we ordered nachos and brunch tacos. Who knew mashed potato in a taco and veggies would have such a great flavor. The nachos were delicious, drizzled with coconut cream (ask to hold on that drizzle if you're not a fan of coconut), I thought it's flavor lightened up the beefiness of all the meats within. The price and portion of the items are appropriate. You've seen beautiful places around town with portions which make you squint because it didn't match the high price yeah? That's not an issue at Avo, hurray! Service was also wonderful. The hostess and server came to check on us multiple times. I can't wait to come back! "

Yelp
The location of this place changed across the street from the volleyball courts, just fyi! The plant based menu is pretty epic, tbh. They had just added more items when I visited and they have a pretty great wine list as well. The food was great! The decor and service were also notable, and our server was very sweet.

Yelp
This is the first one I ever been to Avo in over 7 years. I had a late lunch with a friend who is vegan and I did not know they were no longer raw vegan. She had the Nachos which were piled high and she liked them. I ordered the vegan cheese plate to share and the seasonal pot pie. Noah was the chef that day and he put his foot in it on Friday! My friend had to thank him and let him know how well he did. The pot pie had sweet potatoes on it which I was not expecting because it was a little too sweet for me BUT I had leftovers and it tasted better the next day! Fury was our waitress and she was so fun and attentive! She was down for our respectful shenanigans. The place is casual and designed like most places modern causal places. Open, open bench sitting in one side and a chair on the other.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this restaurant as it was one of my friend's favorite restaurants. Walking in, it is very well decorated with lots of natural light and plants to give it a very nice, jungle aesthetic. It didn't appear super busy when we came but we were a larger party. Service was nice but rather slow. I ordered the nachos because I love nachos and how can one mess up nachos? Unfortunately, due to the speed, or lack thereof, the nachos came out room temp and quickly got cold. This wouldn't be terrible as I've definitely eaten my share of cold nachos, after a late night. But this was a nice brunch so different expectations. The chips themselves were also underwhelming, it almost felt like they just took a bag of grocery market chips and put toppings on them. Sadly, I was very underwhelmed by the food and service. This was a spot I really wanted to like and perhaps they really just had an off day. I'd be willing to come back as it does seem like a nice spot to meet up and catch up but hopefully food and service are amped up a bit.

Yelp
I am definitely an Avo fan. This is a vegan restaurant that curates their menu towards being fresh and approachable, for vegans, vegan curious, and people that just like good food in general. They are well known for their frozen avocado margarita. That is surprisingly tasty, and quite refreshing. They have great lunch and happy deals. And I often stick to an avocado margarita and nachos with soy chorizo. However the last time I came in, I got their kale salad, bombbb, and their lemon pepper cauliflower wings, those weren't my favorite. But I'd want to come back and try them with buffalo or gochujang instead. Vibes inside are clean, airy, and very green! I highly recommend.

Yelp
My first time at AVO was a win. My server Carmen was great and informed me the menu was new and had lots of spring options. The cherry blossom cocktail was great, but if you're not a fan of soda, pass it up for another craft cocktail. I really enjoyed the bread. It had the perfect warmth and their herb butter was delicious. The penne pesto primavera was really good as well. The texture of the pistachio walnut blend that topped the pasta was overwhelming at first and took a few bites to adjust to but overall a solid dish. The area is light on street parking but you can park in the garage under the neighboring restaurant for free (up to 2 hrs).

Yelp
Always love eating at Avo; trying the new Hey Hey Asian menu tonight. Dan Dan noodles are flavorful and recommended. Restaurant has a very relaxed and cool vibe. Have dined here several times and always enjoy the vegan food. Service is always top notch and friendly! You do not want to miss out on this one.

Anurag G.

Yelp
The best vegan restaurant we've been in a while. There are a lot of mouth watering options. We got pesto pasta, burger, wild Nashville salad, kimchi spring rolls and a couple of drinks along with a coffee cheesecake. Everything was perfect. Cant recommend it enough!

Yelp
I'm not a vegan and I was staying near by, so wanted something different that was in walking distance. I has their avocado margarita and Dirrrty drink (has espresso I believe) the margarita was so creamy! I sat at the bar and the bartenders name was chris, she recommended the kimchi egg rolls, they were amazing!! The peanut sauce was spicy and delicious. This is one of their signature dishes. I'm not much of an eggplant person but wanted to try theirs. I had the Linguini Ala Vodka that was a generous portion of pasta (can get GF) and 2 fried eggplants slices. This dish redeemed my opinion of eggplant. The inside bar is small but fine for me and they had both inside and outside dining. I'd recommend this place vegan or not, it's super tasty and it's awesome the way they infuse so many fresh ingredients I'd never think of and it's amazing.

Yelp
Ok so I wanted to love it because I love avocado. But nah...it's just not hittin. When I give three stars, it means I'd be happy to never eat here again, but I wouldn't have an adult tantrum or choose to starve if it was my only option. Disclaimer--I ordered on UberEats so they may have impacted my experience. Let's start with the cheesecake since I liked that. I got the cheesecake of the day. I don't know what flavor it is, but as you can see in the photos, it is quite green. The top cream colored layer was good and the crust was wet, but flavorful. The green sauce on top was also good. The middle is what I couldn't really get with. What is going on here? Is there kale in it? Spinach? Something didn't go right because it doesn't taste like dessert :-( so basically I scraped off the top and bottom and ate that. The lions mane crab cakes were interesting. For starters, they were cold. I think this may be the fault of the UberEats driver though so I'll excuse that. This is only my second time having lions mane, but I'm a crab cake connoisseur--especially vegan ones. So this was less of a crab cake and more of a...shredded mushroom ball. I need my crab cakes to have a nice crispy top and bottom layer. This was lacking in the crisp department. Additionally, it was lacking in flavor a bit. There was a strong reliance on the sauce, but the "crab" cake itself didn't have much flavor. Now the kale Caesar salad. Kale needs to be massaged. Period. Otherwise, we will look like pandas munching grass. And because kale is so tough, my jaw gets tired if it's not "pre digested" by being somewhat broken down. That being said, this salad had dressing but the kale was very tough. The chef should have massaged the kale with the dressing and then tossed in the remainder of the ingredients. Also, it can do without the sun dried tomatoes. Avocado would be good, or maybe croutons since that's normal for a Caesar salad.

Yelp
Parking: free parking in the parking garage. Just make sure to scan the QR code and register vehicle. Avo also has the QR code at the front in case you forget :) Service: everyone is very helpful & ambiance is great!!! Food: really really good food. It's on the $$ end, but for good reason. Excellent quality without compromising on flavor. Our favorite is to go during lunch time during the week & split the lunch trio ($16). Kale salad, fried potato with beet ketchup & pesto pasta. We've also tried & enjoyed the nachos & spring rolls. Highly recommend whether vegan or not!

Yelp
This was our first stop on an exciting trip to Nashville. Thoroughly impressed. We ordered 5 appetizers, and had enough leftovers for two more small meals. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, kimchi egg rolls ( My Favorite) w/ peanut sauce. Buffalo cauliflower, roasted potato's and a Ho-Cake w/ squash and apple puree. Extremely filling for a 100% vegan restaurant. I would definitely comeback!

Yelp
Another great meal at Avo! Came in Sunday after church , they had a musician . Atmosphere was very relaxing ... had a pot pie that was delicious!

Yelp
When I was planning a trip to Nashville I knew I wanted to try Avo! Luckily, it was close to where I was staying. It's in a cute area called One City that has a small stage area, a bar with sand volleyball, a vegan ice cream place and a unique ship that had a bunch of random stuff. We started with the spring rolls. They were the hit of the experience. They were delicious and I couldn't get enough of the peanut sauce. I chose the Lunch Trio and had the kale salad, pickled vegetables and crab cake. I loved the chickpeas and sun dried tomatoes in the salad. It had entire cloves of roasted garlic! The dressing was pretty mild flavored but good. I love pickled red onions so thought I would like the pickled veggies and I did- perfectly sour! I was neutral on the crab cake. I liked the slaw and sauce better than the actual cake but probably just a preference thing. I highly recommend Avo!
google avatar

Yami A.

Yelp
Love their Cali burger! The nachos are really good too, but they're very inconsistent. They give you so many chips and not enough cheese. For the price, you'd think they'd put a reasonable amount of cheese.
google avatar

Julia H.

Yelp
Came for a sit-down meal during happy hour. Was able to share happy hour bites (nachos, fried potatoes, lemon pepper cauliflower) with my friends. I also enjoyed the Philly mac. Only had to wait 10-15 mins for the food. Also, free two hour parking in the garage. Plants were a nice touch to the decor as well.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
Thank God for a vegan place in Nashville! I have tried a bunch of things here and they are all great but especially the nachos!

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Food was good.. I got the kale Cesar and it was super heavy on the dressing, like drenched. Other than that it was good. This place would be a GEM and would give 5 stars if they didn't use toxic seed oils :(
google avatar

Mae R.

Yelp
We arrived after changing reservations relatively last minute. They still greeted us with a smile and even sat us early. First and foremost, if a tasty meat substitute is what you're looking for or maybe you're just skeptical, my meat eating partner said they would not have known it was veggie based food had I not mentioned it. Just saying. The gochujang cauliflower bites were our favorite. The sauce was SO flavorful and the bites were nice and crispy. They weren't soggy in the middle like lots of fried cauliflower tends to be. I came for the avo marg and left with a love for the Wild West cocktail. Although not on the happy hour menu, I thought it was delightful and reminded me of the adult, fall version of an orange push pop. All in all a good trip to a beautiful restaurant and I would love to come back eventually to try sitting in their outdoor section!
google avatar

Christy C.

Yelp
We ordered Uber Eats. I am gluten free and vegan. Sometimes food is hard to find with both gf and vegan. AVO was beyond delicious and exceeded my expectations. The chocolate dessert is top 5 desserts ever! The cauliflower (lemon pepper and Buffalo) were both outstanding. The nacho were the best nachos I've ever eaten. I ordered extra food and will eat the spring rolls and kale salad tomorrow.
google avatar

Jeff R.

Yelp
Well made vegan food in a town where that's hard to find. Great service, and a nice chill vibe. There was a big group line dancing right outside. Fun!
google avatar

Annette H.

Yelp
BEST restaurant in Nashville!!! My favorite dishes are Kale Caesar Salad, Kimchi Spring Rolls, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Chocolate Avocado Torte. The staff is polite. They label all to-go containers for easy identification.

Nancy A.

Yelp
I went to avo on Mother's Day with my family and my daughter and son-in-law are vegan. I wasn't very excited about it, but I must say the food was very good. I tried to find something before we went that I would be able to eat and I kind of gave up because it was all vegan. The Caesar salad was delicious and was prepared with kale. We also ordered a burger and although I didn't care very much for it but my daughter and son-in-law thought it was delicious. We also had an order of nachos and they were very good. I even want to go back for another Caesar salad. I really enjoyed it!
google avatar

Martha V.

Yelp
My adult daughter and I had an excellent experience at Avo today for lunch. We ordered the Chz Plate, the Artichoke Dip, she ordered a Lentil Burger, and I got the Lentil Vegetable Soup. For dessert, I ordered the Neapolitan Cashew Cheesecake. EVERYthing was as tasty as could be! This is my fourth visit there, and I have never had a bad experience and all the food has been good all the time. Our waitress went the extra mile by offering helpful suggestions and keeping us informed whenever there might be a very slight delay in any of our dishes. The atmosphere is lovely. All the giant plants make it warm and inviting. If you haven't been there yet, you need to go!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG If you haven't tried the HeyHey menu at Avo yet... go go now... run! It's one of the best Asian infusion experiences I've ever had. The egg rolls are incredible, and the noodle dishes just divine. We've had both the Udon noodles and glass noodles - both excellent. This menu is available Thurs - Sun, and I for one hope they make it a permanent fixture.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
This is my first time at their new location and the decor is so cute here! Perfect place to celebrate (in our case, passing the qualifying exam in our ph.d. program ) Food and cocktails are fresh and delicious. I think the menu is rotating? The waitress was also super kind and staff were willing to answer all of our questions about which cocktail we should get. When there wasn't anything on the menu we were super excited about, the bar even whipped up something to fit our taste! Soo accommodating
google avatar

Matthew A.

Yelp
I love these guys. Great vibe and amazing food - whether you're vegan or not. I asked to say hi to the chef one night and he came out and was the coolest dude. Just wants to build community in our great city around awesome food and wants the restaurant to feel inclusive! Its our favorite date night spot with or without our toddler!
google avatar

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
Greeted with a smile! Located in a cute area. Food was presented well, but the flavor wasn't quite there. Greens were sweet, crab cakes weren't well seasoned. I was in town visiting someone at the hospital and it was super close. On-street parking, scan the QR code and you get two hours free to park. They may have their own lot but I just parked once I sighted the building.
google avatar

Alex W.

Yelp
OMG, an amazing spot. Everything was DELICIOUS! We loved the kale caesar, NACHOS!!!!, harissa veggies, and the great mocktail/cocktail selection. Extremely GF friendly. A MUST GO!!
google avatar

Quin B.

Yelp
Avo has been a very good vegan restaurant. The food feel fresh similar to Tru Foods, but the restaurant itself has a different feel to it. It seems LGBTQ friendly without it being explicitly stated. The menu changes and specials were offered the times that I went. There is a good selection of drinks, IPAs, and deserts available. The service and cleanliness of the restaurant have been satisfying. The food has been very likable for a vegan restaurant. The lentil walnut burger had a nice flavorful crunch to it and it came with a nice sauce. The breakfast burrito was okay but was not a favorite. The nachos were lovely and good flavors came thru. I only wish they were served hot as the standard is room temp which is a minor detail. There is good food here and all the vegans and vegetarians should definitely be coming here.
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived at around 6:20pm on a Saturday and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter greeted us and immediately asked if we had any dietary restrictions which I appreciated. We had the kiwi spritz and strawberry avalanche drinks which were both pretty and yummy! For an app we got the zucchini fries which were my favorite part of the meal - they were HUGE. For main dishes we got the lentil-walnut burger and pesto primavera. I loved how colorful our meals were as well as the general ambiance of the restaurant. The one negative aspect was that the tables are extremely close together. There was another couple at the table next to us and being one foot away from each other, I felt like I was intruding on their dinner conversation and vice versa. Nevertheless food was 10/10 and we will be back!

Sandra P.

Yelp
What a gift when you're visiting Nashville and are vegan! Since I was a party of 1 and wanted to try so many things after reading all the reviews, the server was kind enough to offer 1/2 sized portions. WOW! So I tried the Kim Chi spring rolls which were crunchy and had the most amazing peanut sauce to dip. The crispy potatoes were delightful. And the nachos were just ok. The ambiance was very welcoming and the servers were so friendly. I loved this place!
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered the buffalo cauliflower, nachos and stuffed mushrooms. The cauliflower was flavorful but didn't taste fresh. Probably previously frozen. The nachos would've been better if served hot instead of lukewarm. The stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. No complaints there. My only major complaint is with our waiter dressed like Beetlejuice who is clearly a man wearing a ton of makeup and a wig. It's a good thing we didn't bring our children with us. Why do we have to pretend that this is normal?
google avatar

Tanya M.

Yelp
Favorite vegan restaurant of all time! Great with food allergies and able to accommodate all needs in our party. Adorable warm decor location and ambiance. Great service and waitstaff! Unique delicious signature cocktails, mocktails, and dishes! With my food allergies it's rare I can actually have dessert at any restaurant. Here I had choices! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Avo is seriously AMAZING. Great food, great prices, great service. The happy hour selection can't be beat either. I've brought friends who aren't vegan and they love it too. Their new space is also great.
google avatar

Sofia Q.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Avo yet it's a definitely must try! Avo has delicious plant-based food and is located right next to Sandbar and the beach volleyball court! I got the Cali Burger which had lentil-walnut patty, coconut queso, guacamole, jalapeño, coleslaw and more on a sweet potato bun. It was so amazing 11/10!! I also got an avocado margarita 7.5/10

Sergio F.

Yelp
This is a delightful vegan restaurant with a lot of options, and a great approach to flavor, texture and aromatics. The cocktail program and wine list was elevated.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
The best vegan spot in Nashville. I was so impressed by the cali burger and the bip & bop dish. They were incredible. I also had their lavender mocktail and it was PERFECTION. They rotate the menu from time to time so you are never bored with options! The food is fresh, delicious, and will leave you in the best mood. The crab cakes are a must & the service is wonderful. Parking is convenient as they have a lot next to the restaurant where you can park for free up to 2 hours. Which gives you the perfect amount of time to explore the surrounding spots on the adjacent boardwalk. Can't wait to eat here again!
google avatar

Yelp
I feel great after eating here! This place is a vegan restaurant, apparently one of the top ones in the Nashville area, serving a variety of inspired dishes like burgers and even a pad thai. We made reservations just to be safe, as they ask for reservations but they are not hard to get through Resy. When we were seated, we shared crab cakes, the Cali burger, and raw pad thai. Crab cakes were pretty good and the texture is very close to the real deal. It is served on top of a lot of slaw for the good fiber. The Cali burger is good but also very filling. I always love avocados, and the lentil-walnut patty was cooked just right. It kind of reminds me of the vegetarian style black bean burger to an extent. The raw pad thai is interesting - I love the fusion flavors and the fact that it is gluten free as well, as it is made with zucchini and kelp noodles, more predominantly kelp noodles. The texture is chewy and springy, reflecting the nomenclature of "raw." Portions are huge too - for $13, you get more than enough food for a meal! Overall, service is good and the food is satisfying, healthy, and affordable. I would recommend this place to check out, and it is a nice break if you are eating out trying out Nashville hot chicken, etc that are not as healthy.
google avatar

Morey K.

Yelp
Avo is top 3 best vegan spots in Nashville. It's sustainable and housed in a literal shipping box with live plants all around. The food and drinks are delicious and the freshest in town. We always get the kimchi spring rolls and try whatever seasonal options are on the menu. We also love their brunch on the weekends!
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
Finally made it to the new Avo across the street from their old location. Parking is available on street or in the large lot next to the old location with two hours free. The dining room is a large light filled space with a high ceiling centered with a gorgeous moss covered light fixture, cozy and inviting. There's a high top community type table in the middle of the room and a cozy seating area behind the host stand. We had a knowledgeable friendly server to help us navigate the menu. Three of us were there for lunch and wanted to try their lunch trio. I chose the kale Caesar, roasted adobo potatoes and kimchi spring roll. My daughter also ordered the trio but subbed a bowl of chili for her third course. My husband tried the sweet corn polenta and thought it was one of the tastier vegan meals he's had in a long time. I really liked the trio, more food than I could eat for lunch so I shared the delicious adobo potatoes. Overall we had a lovely lunch experience and look forward to visiting again for their pop up HeyHey weekend evenings.

Yelp
Great service, good ambiance, good drinks, decent food, but probably just not for me! I wished they had more hot dishes and the portions were a bit larger. The nachos were great!
google avatar

Lynndel F.

Yelp
As always the food was full of flavor and the presentation was spot on!! I had the season soup and spring rolls. The creamed broccoli soup was extremely tasty. And the spring rolls were spicy. Oh I had hot chocolate with raspberry and toasted marshmallows. I shared that with my niece and nephew. The waitress was great! I think she said her name was Ice. And she was warm and bright as a sunny day. Parking was easy but the construction was unexpected. We even saw a coyote running around outback.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing. The cocktails are always fun and yummy and beautiful. Been here twice and the food was out of this world. If I go back to Nashville, I know where I'm going to eat delicious vegan food with a really cool atmosphere and vibe.

Yelp
I absolutely loved Avo and can't wait to go back! I took my bf on a choose your own date in the fall, so he picked this out of two options and we totally won choosing it! I can't get the Buffalo cauliflower wrap out of my head - looking forward to going back. We both had super tasty cocktails & enjoyed our food so much. It's fun to watch people play volleyball when they have it & you have a lot of other spots you can stop in before or after in that complex

Yelp
I just love Avo. It is SO nice to have a restaurant whose menu is 100% vegan, I don't have to ask any questions to confirm, or order a special meal removing the animal products. I can eat literally everything. It is just so nice. Delicious food, and boy did we order a lot of food!!. The nachos were amazing, the breakfast burrito was amazing, buffalo cauliflower awesome, the mushroom polenta was delicious (but had a little too much oil imo, next time I'll ask for no oil), my 2 preschoolers and baby enjoyed their sliced apples and avocado toast. Hubs and I also had a cold brew coffee and mimosa which were both great. Always a good experience. I love the new building too. The kids received coloring pages and crayons which they loved, and the bathrooms were clean which is also super appreciated. Thank you Avo!! I just wish it were closer, please open another location in Franklin!!!

Yelp
I got to Nashville in the early afternoon and was planning to go to another vegan/vegetarian place but this was right there next to my hotel. I went in, having no idea what i was in for, traveling can be sketchy with veggie places. Let me tell you that this was the best vegan places I've ever been to. The place was gorgeous, not knowing what to pick, i got the lunch trio. Potatoes, kale Caesar and pesto pasta. I would have loved to get dessert but i was so full. I took a nap right after because i was stuffed (and got up pre-dawn to get to Nashville). It's super hard to not just go there again today but i want to explore more food. , maybe I'll get a snack later.

Yelp
One of my favorite vegan spots in Nashville for a consistently good dining experience. It's easy to over eat here because I want to order the whole menu. Great place to go with friends and share multiple dishes!

Yelp
Great, plant-based, and incredibly healthy food...but those prices!?! I love the new location too! Great drinks!
