I’ve been dining at Avra for years, starting with their location in Beverly Hills, and when I returned to New York, I always made it a point to dine at Avra Madison. The food is absolutely incredible, as a seafood lover, I truly appreciate how fresh everything is. Beyond the cuisine, I love the ambience, the cocktails, and the people; every visit feels like a luxury experience, and the staff is always top-tier. Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at their new location on 33rd & Ninth, and my girlfriend and I had the best time ever. We were warmly welcomed by the team and by George, the manager, who took excellent care of us. The food was not only fresh but beautifully presented, and the aesthetic of the restaurant is stunning. I can’t wait to return and celebrate my birthday there. Every Avra location offers a prix fixe menu with amazing selections, so if you’re new to this restaurant, it’s definitely worth checking out. They also have private rooms where you can throw private gatherings birthday parties, Wedding parties ect.

I am an explorer of new places and this restaurant met my expectations. In addition, the service is great and friendly. Very friendly. I enjoyed their small snack and a delicious passion fruit cocktail. I ordered the grilled calamari. It was great. I will have to return for more of their menu items.

Beautiful new restaurant! We just dropped in for dessert, but it was fabulous. Some things, like the very bad selections for red wine by the glass, are the same here as the other Avras, but the atmosphere here is great, far better than the Sixth Avenue location and even better than the E. 60th St location.

Another Avra! Locations for Avra is alike Verdi opera, newer edition larger grander. We ordered safely most reliables. Avra chips sea bass, clam pasta, baklava. Couldn't go wrong. Rolling out second table cloth and hot wet handkerchief between entree and desert nice touch. Thank you for hummus and pita chip/bread.

I’ve been coming to different locations of Avra for years because this group of restaurants never disappoints. This new location though exceeded my expectations. The level of hospitality here is incredible. Our server Irina was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive. The place itself is gorgeous. Will definitely be a regular guest here.

Fantastic evening on the patio. Anna Maira made the whole experience feel effortless and special. Her energy and attention to detail really stood out; she represents what true hospitality should feel like. Heather, the sommelier, was a highlight too!! Friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about the wine program. We left already planning our next visit. Looking forward to coming back soon and asking for Anna Maria again!

Everyone in New York already knows and loves Avra, but the new Chelsea/ Hudson yards location is something special. It’s so convenient for those living around Hudson Yards, Chelsea, SoHo, or the West Village. The staff is professional, very well trained, and the atmosphere feels more elevated and refined than ever. The design is stunning, modern, and elegant, with an updated menu featuring new dishes you won’t find at Avra Madison. A true gem and one of the most beautiful new spots in the city !

It was my first visit today, and i was really impressed! The interior was beautiful, the restroom was clean, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent! I’m looking forward to coming back again soon.
